RESUMO Este artigo propõe uma indagação sobre as escritas fragmentárias frequentadas por autores da América Latina nos séculos XX e XXI. Trata-se de práticas de escrita que se configuram no trânsito entre a anotação, a crônica, o diário e o ensaio, num movimento discursivo que tende a apagar as distinções entre literatura e vida. Ainda que a fragmentação seja reconhecível como estratégia discursiva crítica de uma modernidade literária que, como diz Jacques Rancière, fez da corrosão do próprio conceito de literatura seu fundamento, cabe colocar a pergunta acerca das inflexões que ela assume nos dias de hoje, em que a literatura parece abandonar seus foros específicos e, em um movimento de identificação com a experiência e o mundo, colocar em xeque a autonomia estética. ABSTRACT This article proposes an inquiry into the fragmentary writings frequented by authors from Latin America in the 20th and 21st centuries. These are writing practices that are configured in the transit between notes, chronicles, diaries and essays, in a discursive movement that tends to erase the distinctions between literature and life. Even though fragmentation is recognizable as a critical discursive strategy of a literary modernity that, as Jacques Rancière says, made the corrosion of the concept of literature its foundation, it is worth asking the question about the inflections it takes on nowadays when literature seems to abandon its specific forums and, in a movement of identification with experience and the world, call aesthetic autonomy into question. RESUMO O artigo propõe refletir sobre a espectralidade como efeito de sentido político produzido por meio da arte urbana na montagem de um monumento popular em homenagem a Marielle Franco, na cidade de São Paulo. Para isso, o estudo buscou observar como algumas forças periféricas acionadas no movimento de luto e memória por Marielle foram moldadas semioticamente na intervenção artístico-ativista. As análises focam em três elementos que compõem o monumento: o rosto de Marielle no retrato fotográfico, o nome próprio e uma fala citada. ABSTRACT The paper aims to reflect on spectrality as the political meaning effect produced using street art in a popular monument in honor of Marielle Franco, in São Paulo, Brazil. To accomplish this goal, the study sought to examine how some of the peripheral forces triggered by the movement of mourning and memory for Marielle were semiotically shaped in the artistic-activist intervention. The analysis focuses on three elements in the making of the monument: Marielle’s face in the portrait, her name, and a quote. The text articulates theoretical discussions on mourning, agency, spectrality, memory, alterity, and peripheral perspectives on references and legacy. RESUMO Este artigo visa problematizar a participação de poetas na Copa do Mundo de Slam, campeonato mundial que ocorre anualmente em Paris. Em específico, pretende-se discutir questões de gênero, raça e decolonialidade nas performances poéticas de Bell Puã, slammer representante brasileira no evento de 2018, contrastando-as com outras performances de poetas europeus, brancos, cis, colonizadores, do Norte Global. ABSTRACT This paper aims to problematize the participation of poets in the Grand Poetry Slam, a world championship that takes place annually in Paris. Specifically, it aims to discuss issues of gender, race, and decoloniality in the poetic performances of Bell Puã, the Brazilian slammer representing the 2018 event, contrasting them with other performances by European, white, cis, colonizing poets from the Global North. We also seek to defend artivism and combarte as movements that involve Brazilian slam events and, by extension, those in Latin America and the Global South. RESUMO Este trabalho é resultado de uma pesquisa qualitativa, realizada a partir de análise documental, embasada principalmente em teóricos da Educação em Ciência de origem diversa, sob a perspectiva indisciplinar da Linguística Aplicada (LA). Investiga-se um conjunto de atividades propostas e aplicadas no ensino de escrita acadêmica, no período de 2011 a 2021, no contexto do Programa de Formação Interdisciplinar Superior (ProFIS) da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp). O objetivo foi identificar evidências do trabalho pedagógico com práticas e conhecimentos atrelados às ciências, e problematizar representações e discursos sobre ciências, a partir de atividades didáticas do componente curricular dedicado à educação linguística no programa mencionado. ABSTRACT This work results of a qualitative research study conducted through document analysis, primarily grounded in Education in Science theorists from various backgrounds, under the interdisciplinary perspective of Applied Linguistics (AL). It investigates a set of activities proposed and implemented in the teaching of academic writing from 2011 to 2021 within the context of the Interdisciplinary Higher Education Program (ProFIS) at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). The article is centered around some of Dilma Rousseff’s comments about the notion of evil. O rap dos Racionais é uma poesia feita na periferia e que procura se dirigir à própria periferia, quebrada de origem de seus integrantes. Entretanto, seu alcance extrapola esse público de iguais para se voltar também a outros atores sociais. SUMMARY The music of the Racionais MC's, one of the most important Brazilian rap groups, draws its strength from a forceful discourse. Racionais' rap is poetry made in the periphery and aimed at the periphery itself, where its members come from. However, their reach extends beyond this audience of equals to other social actors. RESUMO O objetivo deste artigo é discutir as crenças e percepções de doutorandos das áreas de Linguística, Literatura e História em relação ao conhecimento de gênero envolvidos na elaboração de projetos de tese submetidos a seleção para ingresso em curso de doutorado. A pesquisa se apoia nos pressupostos teóricos e metodológicos dos Estudos Retóricos de Gêneros (ERG), especialmente na visão de que os gêneros possuem uma realidade sociorretórica (MILLER, 1984; DEVITT, 2004) e sociocognitiva (BERKENKOTTER; HUCHIN, 2016; TSENG, 2012), a qual pode ser percebida através das expectativas genéricas e crenças dos usuários de um gênero específico. Em função de projetos de pesquisa, em geral, incluindo projetos de tese, caracterizarem-se como um gênero ocluso, as crenças e expectativas diferem bastante entre os doutorandos acerca das práticas de leitura e de escrita de projetos, tendo sido observadas formas um tanto inusitadas, não esperadas na literatura que tematiza práticas de leitura e escrita de deste gênero. ABSTRACT The purpose of this article is to discuss the beliefs and perceptions of doctoral students in the areas of Linguistics, Literature and History, in relation to genre knowledge involved in the elaboration of thesis projects undergone to selection for admission to a doctoral course. The research is based on the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Rhetorical Studies of Genres, especially in the views that genres have a socio-rhetorical (MILLER, 1984; DEVITT, 2004) and socio-cognitive reality (BERKENKOTTER; HUCHIN, 2016; TSENG, 2012), which can be perceived through the generic expectations and beliefs of users of a specific genre. RESUMO Este estudo tem como objetivo fazer um levantamento de momentos de troca intercultural entre alunos americanos e brasileiros em interação via teletandem, bem como verificar como esses momentos de desenvolvimento da competência intercultural são percebidos por esses alunos via escritos semanais em um blog. Como base, tomaremos a definição de aprendizagem intercultural de Borghetti e Beaven (2015), que considera que a interculturalidade é coconstruída durante a interação, isto é, que a interação entre pessoas de culturas diferentes é potencialmente um momento de desenvolvimento da competência intercultural. Os resultados iniciais, baseados na leitura e análise dos blogs escritos pelos alunos americanos após cada sessão de Teletandem, mostram que esses alunos fazem uso dos três tipos de sequência de interação descritos. Isso parece apontar para o fato que, além do desenvolvimento linguístico, os alunos estão tendo a oportunidade de desenvolver sua competência intercultural. O acompanhamento das escritas ao longo do semestre letivo mostra que houve um aumento significativo de momentos em que os alunos explicaram aos seus companheiros aspectos da sua cultura, assim como de momentos em que já conseguiam expressar sua compreensão dos aspectos da outra cultura. ABSTRACT This Project has as its objective study the moments of intercultural Exchange among Brazilian and American students via Teletandem interaction, as well verify how these moments of development of intercultural competence are perceived by these students in their weekly blog writings. It is grounded in Borghetti and Beaven’s (2015) definition of intercultural learning who consider that interculturality is co constructed during interaction, that is, that the interaction of people from different cultures is potentially a moment of development of intercultural competence. ABSTRACT This article aims to scrutinize the notion of multimodality through a theoretical discussion that seeks to re-present, problematize and reformulate concepts that underlie and support it, such as semiotic resource, semiotic element, semiotic system, modal affordance and semiotic modality. RESUMO O artigo se dedica a examinar a articulação entre dois movimentos de contestação da representação, identificados nos domínios da política e da literatura. Refiro-me aqui aos questionamentos da democracia representativa que acompanhamos na série de protestos entre 2010-2013 e à discussão sobre a legitimidade das produções artísticas para representar integrantes de minorias diversas. Esses abalos da representação serão analisados, sobretudo, como pressões por alterações na chamada partilha do sensível (Rancière). ABSTRACT The article is dedicated to examining the link between two movements challenging representation, identified in the fields of politics and literature. I am referring here to the questioning of representative democracy that was part of the series of protests between 2010-2013 and the discussion about the legitimacy of artistic productions to represent members of diverse minorities. These upheavals in representation will be analyzed above all as pressures for changes in the so-called distribution of the sensible (Rancière). ABSTRACT The aim of the study is to establish the dynamics of the teaching and learning process of the phraseological units, by virtue of the formation of lexical competence in the student of Spanish as a foreign language, at the University of Oriente, Santiago de Cuba. RESUMO Apesar do crescente número de pesquisas sobre emoções na Linguística Aplicada, poucas delas têm focado em questões relacionadas às emoções de formadores de professores de línguas. Neste artigo, apresentamos os resultados de um estudo qualitativo que investiga as perspectivas de tais formadores (em duas universidades públicas brasileiras) acerca de suas rotinas, bem estar e qualidade de vida em seus espaços de trabalho. O material empírico foi gerado através de questionários e entrevistas com 18 e 13 participantes, respectivamente. ABSTRACT In spite of growing scholarship addressing emotions in Applied Linguistics, little research has focused on emotional issues of language teacher educators. In this article, we present the results of a qualitative study investigating the perspectives of such educators (from two public universities in Brazil) regarding their work routines, wellbeing and quality of life in their workspaces. Data were generated through questionnaires and interviews with 18 and 13 participants, respectively.
