ABSTRACT We analyse here the career of Diná Lopes Coelho, emphasizing her challenges and achievements as the secretary-general of the São Paulo Biennial and director of MAM-SP. We problematize her role as a mediator, cultural manager, and curator, as well as the challenges in assessing her legacy.
