Resumo: Além da importância musical e teatral, as óperas oitocentistas representam, na cultura ocidental, uma inestimável importância narrativo-textual que proporcionou, junto com a cultura literária e artística da época, a configuração de subjetividades de gênero, especialmente aquelas relacionadas ao feminino. As análises de Norma, La Traviata e Carmen permitem avaliar as subjetividades femininas que eram representadas por suas protagonistas e como elas se relacionavam com seus desejos, afetos e pares amorosos. Partimos de uma leitura feminista e de gênero que tem por objetivo estudar as múltiplas possibilidades que o feminino foi representado nesta arte, vinculando-o com as principais agências que se tornaram responsáveis pela produção das subjetividades das mulheres do século XIX e que se estendem até os dias atuais: sexualidade, amor, filhos e matrimônio.
Abstract: In addition to musical and theatrical importance, the nineteenth-century operas represent a priceless narrative-textual in Western culture which provided, along with the literary and artistic culture of that period, the configuration of gender subjectivities, especially those related to women. The analyzes of Norma, La Traviata and Carmen allows to evaluate the female subjectivities that were represented by their protagonists and how they were related with their desires, affections and with their loving couples. We start from a feminist and gender reading that aims to study the multiple possibilities which women were represented in this art, linking it with the main agencies that became responsible for the production of subjectivities of women in nineteenth century and that are extended nowadays, which are: sexuality, love, marriage and children.
