Abstract Recent studies have reported the occurrence of thrombotic phenomena or coagulopathy in patients with COVID-19. There are divergent positions regarding the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of these phenomena, and current clinical practice is based solely on deductions by extension from retrospective studies, case series, observational studies, and international guidelines developed prior to the pandemic. In this context, the aim was to generate a group of recommendations on the prevention, diagnosis and management of thrombotic complications associated with COVID-19. Methods: A rapid guidance was carried out applying the GRADE Evidence to Decision (EtD) frameworks and an iterative participation system, with statistical and qualitative analysis. Results: 31 clinical recommendations were generated focused on: a) Coagulation tests in symptomatic adults with suspected infection or confirmed SARS CoV-2 infection; b) Thromboprophylaxis in adults diagnosed with COVID-19 (Risk scales, thromboprophylaxis for outpatient, in-hospital management, and duration of thromboprophylaxis after discharge from hospitalization), c) Diagnosis and treatment of thrombotic complications, and d) Management of people with previous indication of anticoagulant agents. Conclusions: Recommendations of this consensus guide clinical decision-making regarding the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of thrombotic phenomena in patients with COVID-19, and represent an agreement that will help decrease the dispersion in clinical practices according to the challenge imposed by the pandemic.

Abstract Competitiveness in the Mexican countryside is associated with farmers who have a formal organizational structure and who are aware of being a core part of the agricultural value chain. In the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, markets for smallholder producers are mainly local, and they continually survive thanks to government support. To improve competitiveness, organizations have used information and communication technologies (ICT). Thus, the aim of this research was to verify that the assimilation of ICT in smallholder producers of protected agriculture is a strategy that influences the improvement of the competitiveness of their production units (UP). In order to achieve the above, the policy analysis matrix (PAM) was adapted to calculate the levels of competitiveness, as well as the technology acceptance model (TAM) based on the theory of reasoned action (TRA), to determine the attitudes that influence the behavior and to calculate the assimilation levels of ICT. A highly significant relationship between competitiveness and the assimilation of ICT was obtained as the main result. In this context, we concluded that the level of competitiveness in smallholder producers of protected agriculture is highly associated with the ICT assimilation level. Therefore, smallholder producers are strongly advised to strive to incorporate these in the decision-making and management of their UPs.

Abstract [20] This paper shows the importance of Information Technology (IT) as a consulting tool for medium and small scale of protected agriculture’s producers. The need to access Internet portals or mobile applications are established, because these technologies provide information about market prices, climate and plague alerts, research centers, financing, government support, input and output suppliers. services, customer requirements, success stories, etc., in this way they can make decisions that allow them to project their future productions and increase their level of competitiveness; to avoid as much as possible intermediaries and obtain better profits. In addition, investment in IT’s will help to producers, to gather complete, reliable, real-time information from various sources, joined with a good use of these, the uncertainty will decrease in small-scale of protected agriculture’s producers. Several portals consulted on Internet we will present, as well as mobile applications and text message systems for cell phones developed in different countries by public and private institutions; they show information of some link in the agricultural value chain, of interest to producers. Unfortunately, this information we founded in different media and the consultants must navigate between these media, which involves investing time in the consultation; also they must have knowledge in the use of these technologies, so that you can create a complete vision to help you make decisions according to the information obtained.
