Abstract Traditional peach production regions provide adequate chill for satisfactorily bud’s flower break dormancy, in cultivars there developed. However, considering the expansion of the orchards in mild winter areas and the expected global trends to warmer conditions, the local development of cultivars became relevant. Based on this background, this study proposed to evaluate the performance of 33 peach and nectarine cultivars and selections in mild winter climate. Features associated to the vegetative development, phenology, productivity and fruit characteristics were measured in nine seasons, and the data analyzed by multivariate analysis of variance. Significant correlations between features were remarked. The Pillai and F tests presented significant results, highlighting significant differences among cultivars for almost all features. Resumo As regiões tradicionais de produção de pêssego apresentam frio adequado para a quebra de dormência das gemas de forma satisfatória, nas cultivares localmente desenvolvidas. No entanto, considerando a expansão dos pomares em áreas peachde inverno ameno e as tendências globais esperadas para condições mais quentes, o desenvolvimento local de cultivares tornou-se relevante. Com base nisso, este estudo propôs-se a avaliar o desempenho de 33 cultivares e seleções de pessegueiro e nectarineiraem clima de inverno ameno. Características associadas ao desenvolvimento vegetativo,fenologia, produtividade e características dos frutos foram medidas em nove safras; e os dados, analisados por análise de variância multivariada. Foram observadas correlaçõessignificativas entre as características. Os testes de Pillai e F apresentaram resultadossignificativos, destacando a presença de diferenças entre cultivares para quase todas as características.Os genótipos de pessegueiro e de nectarineira apresentaram diversidade genética que pode ser acessada para uso como cultivares, ou parentais para cruzamentos. Abstract Objective This article aims to discuss the approach of indigenous psychology in the care of indigenous students in a university framework. Method Using a qualitative method, this article presents a case study detailing the formation trajectory of the Rede de Escuta e Desaprendizagens Étnico-Subjetivas (Network of Ethno-Subjective Listen-ing and Unlearning) to review the application of the principles of indigenous psychology in sup-porting indigenous students and their families at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp, State University of Campinas), Brazil. Results The study highlighted the need to recognize different epistemologies for respectful therapeutic connections. Challenges were faced in the application of practices aligned with indigenous psychology, emphasizing co-authorship in sessions, valuing patients’ perspectives, and continuous unlearning. The study of the cultural elements of the ethnicities involved proved crucial to avoid the pathologization of indigenous worldviews and subjectivities. ABSTRACT Introduction: Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (allo-HSCT) patients are exposed to acute and chronic nephrotoxic events (drugs, hypotension, infections, and microangiopathy). The need for hemodialysis (HD) may be associated with high mortality rates. However, the risk factors and clinical impact of HD are poorly understood. Aim: To analyze survival and risk factors associated with HD in allo-HSCT Patients and methods: single-center cohort study 185 (34 HD cases versus 151 controls) consecutive adult allo-HSCT patients from 2007-2019. We performed univariate statistical analysis, then logistic regression and competing risk regression were used to multivariate analysis. Survival was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier and Cox proportional-hazards models. Results: The one-year HD cumulative incidence was 17.6%. Univariate analysis revealed that HD was significantly associated with male gender, age (p 0.056), haploidentical donor, grade II-IV acute GVHD, polymyxin B, amikacin, cidofovir, microangiopathy, septic shock (norepinephrine use) and steroid exposure. The median days of glycopeptides exposure (teicoplanin/vancomycin) was 16 (HD) versus 10 (no HD) (p 0.088). In multivariate analysis, we found: norepinephrine (hazard ratio, HR:3.3; 95% confidence interval, 95%CI:1.2-8.9; p 0.024), cidofovir drug (HR:11.0; 95%CI:4.6 - 26.0; p < 0.001), haploidentical HSCT (HR:1.94; 95%CI:0.81-4.65; p 0.14) and Age (HR:1.01; 95%CI: 0.99-1.03; p 0.18). The HD group had higher mortality rate (HR:6.68; 95% CI: 4.1-10.9; p < 0.001). Conclusion: HD was associated with decreased survival in allo-HSCT. ABSTRACT ‘BRS Magna’ was released with the aim of improving the colour, sweetness, and flavour of Brazilian grape juice. Therefore, it is necessary to test this cultivar on different rootstocks in order to identify the canopy/rootstock combinations that best contribute to the purpose of the enterprise under cultivation conditions. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of different rootstocks on the yield components and physical characteristics of the bunch and berry of the ‘BRS Magna’ grapevine. The research was conducted in the vineyard established in the experimental area of the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR), located in the municipality of Pato Branco, Paraná. The ‘BRS Magna’ was grafted onto 10 rootstocks: ‘Kober 5BB’, ‘SO4’, ‘IAC 766 Campinas’, ‘Harmony’, ‘Paulsen 1103’, ‘420A’, ‘IAC 572 Jales’, ‘Freedom’, ‘IAC 313 Tropical’, and ‘101-14 MGT’. For three agricultural years, production, productivity, vegetative vigor, number of bunches, and average bunch weight per plant, length and width of bunch and berry, as well as average berry weight were evaluated. Analysis of variance showed a interaction between rootstocks and production years for all variables. ‘BRS Magna’ showed alternation in yield components, vegetative vigor and physical characteristics of bunch and berry between the evaluated crops. Under the cultivation conditions studied, the recommended rootstock for the ‘BRS Magna’ cultivar is ‘IAC 572 Jales’. On the other hand, ‘101-14 MGT’ and ‘420 A’ are not recommended as rootstock for this cultivar. RESUMO ‘BRS Magna’ foi lançada com o objetivo de melhorar a cor, doçura e sabor do suco de uva brasileiro. Portanto, é necessário testar esta cultivar em diferentes porta-enxertos, a fim de identificar as combinações copa/porta-enxerto que melhor contribuam para o objetivo do empreendimento nas condições de cultivo. Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a influência de diferentes porta-enxertos nos componentes de produção e nas características físicas do cacho e da baga da videira ‘BRS Magna’. A pesquisa foi conduzida no vinhedo implantado na área experimental da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR), localizada no município de Pato Branco, Paraná. A ‘BRS Magna’ foi enxertada em 10 porta-enxertos: ‘Kober 5BB’, ‘SO4’, ‘IAC 766 Campinas’, ‘Harmony’, ‘Paulsen 1103’, ‘420A’, ‘IAC 572 Jales’, ‘Freedom’, ‘ IAC 313 Tropical’ e ‘101-14 MGT’. ABSTRACT Objective To analyze the karyotype test and myeloid panel with next-generation sequencing findings in patients with myelofibrosis, and to compare transplant characteristics in patients referred for bone marrow transplantation. Methods Retrospective, single-center study with patients diagnosed with myelofibrosis treated at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein between 2010 and 2020. Results A total of 104 patients with myelofibrosis were examined. Patients who had not been submitted to tests in our service were excluded. The final sample comprised 69 patients. Of these 69, 56 were submitted to karyotyping and 22 to myeloid panel with next-generation sequencing. Karyotype was normal in 60% of the patients and altered in 40%. The prevalence of high-risk molecular mutations was higher in patients referred for bone marrow transplantation (100% versus 50%). The median follow-up of transplant patients was 2.4 years and the overall survival at 2 years was 80% (95%CI: 62-100%). Conclusion The molecular analysis enables estimating the patient’s risk and thus instituting more aggressive treatment such as bone marrow transplant for patients at higher risk, being a relevant tool to guide therapy. ABSTRACT Objective: Binge eating disorder (BED) is the most prevalent eating disorder in individuals with obesity. Its association with factors that control hunger and satiety has not yet been elucidated. We evaluated whether levels of inflammatory markers, frequency of psychiatric comorbidities, and appetite-related hormones levels differ between individuals with obesity with and without BED. Materials and methods: The Structured Clinical Interview for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-5 – Clinician Version (SCID-5-CV), Binge Eating Scale, and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale were evaluated in 39 individuals with obesity. Plasma levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6), leptin, ghrelin, and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) were measured. Results: Individuals of the BED group exhibited significantly higher percentages of altered eating patterns (hyperphagia, bingeing, post-dinner eating, feeling “stuffed”, and emotional eating), higher depressive symptom scores and levels of leptin, CRP, and TNF-α, compared to those from the non-BED group. Logistic regression showed that BED was independently associated with depressive symptoms and CRP levels. Conclusions: Individuals with obesity and BED showed greater psychiatric comorbidity, worse eating patterns and worse inflammatory profile than those without BED. BED should be assessed as an indicator of clinical severity in patients with obesity.

ABSTRACT The objective of this work was to evaluate the rooting potential and propagation of seventeen grapevinevine rootstocks. The experiment was carried out in the municipality of Canoinhas - Santa Catarina, in 2018 and 2019. Woody canes from the grapevine rootstocks 99R, 110R, 420 A Mgt, 101-14 Mgt, IAC 766, IAC 313, IAC 572, Courdec 3309, Freedom, Gravesac, Harmony, Kober 5BB, Paulsen 1103, Salt Creek, Solferino, SO4 and VR043-43 were collected during dormancy period. After 45 days of the experiment installation, parameters considered as quality indi cators were evaluated: percentage of rooting; average number and length of roots, number of leaves and length of branches. The results obtained were subjected to analysis of variance, and the means were compared using the Scott-Knott test at 5% probability. The rootstocks showed different rooting behaviors, and it is concluded that 101-14 Mgt, IAC 572, Courdec 3309, Freedom, Gravesac, Harmony and Paulsen 1103 have greater rooting and propagation potential. While 110 R, 420 A Mgt and VR 043-43 present difficulties in propagation, due to low rooting, low number of roots and low average length of roots; requiring the use of exogenous auxin, in order to increase rooting rates.

Abstract Introduction Knowing the information regarding the panorama of lymphoma diagnosis in patients treated in the Brazilian Public Unified Health System from the last 10 years is a challenge for Strategic Health Planning. Objective To characterize the Brazilian population with lymphoma treated in the Brazilian Public Unified Health System between 2008 and 2017 regarding staging, sex, residence site and mortality. Material and methods A descriptive, retrospective, and longitudinal trial with secondary data from DataSUS (SIA/SUS and SIM/SUS) obtained from patients with ICD-10 C81-85. Results There were 70,850 lymphoma cases between 2008 and 2017, of which 55% were male, the median age was 51 years, and 27% had Hodgkin Lymphoma. Most patients (56%) were treated outside the residence city. São Paulo State accounted for 25% of patients. Treatment initiation took more than 60 days in 27% of cases. A total of 45,601 deaths were due to lymphoma (12% Hodgkin Lymphoma and 88% Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma), with a median age 63 years, and were mainly males (55%). Staging data were inadequate in 23% of patients, and analysis was performed only on the valid records. Advanced disease was diagnosed in 58% of patients (60% male; 57% female) and was more common in Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (62%) versus Hodgkin Lymphoma (49%). Discussion Late diagnosis interferes with mortality rates. Health promotion and cancer prevention campaigns, especially targeting the male public, and training for early diagnosis and early treatment are needed. Conclusion Effective measures for early diagnosis and treatment are urgently needed for lymphoma control.

Objective: This study aimed to analyze the opinion of medical students at the Faculdade Pernambucana de Saúde (FPS) about teaching and perceptions on death and dying during graduation, verify the importance in medical education and describe this approach through the students’ perspective. It is also objective to find aspects that influence the belief of undergraduates about the theme. Method: This is an exploratory cross-sectional study with quantitative method, conducted between August 2020 and July 2021. Data collection was carried out through online questionnaires, with a sample of 365 subjects, after acceptance and marking on the free and informed consent form, sent to students by e-mail. For analysis, epi-info software was used using relative and absolute frequencies to describe qualitative variables and position and dispersion measures to describe quantitative variables. The chi-square test was used to verify the chi-square test, considering a significance level of 5%. The study followed all the precepts of Resolution nº 510/2016 of the National Council of Ethics in Research and received approval from the ethics committee of the college under opinion number 4,228,016. Result: Most students associate anguish, fear, and sadness with the process of death and agree that the discussion of this process in graduation impacts on the practice of medicine and on the psychosocial well-being of the physician. The students agree that the approach to the death process happened in rare moments during graduation and consider it necessary to include more disciplines that address it. Conclusion: The discussion about the process of death and dying process during medical graduation is necessary, and the insertion of modules that approach it is recommended in the medical course of FPS to contribute to the students’ understanding of this process and in the psychological preparation of these students to deal with death in the exercise of the profession. Resumo: Introdução: Atualmente, a maioria das pessoas está inserida num contexto sócio-histórico de negação da morte, incluindo médicos que lidam com o morrer diariamente que se consideram despreparados perante a morte de um paciente. O desconforto desses profissionais nesse processo de morte deve-se em parte à deficiência da formação ocorrida durante a graduação. Objetivo: Este estudo teve como objetivos analisar a opinião dos alunos de Medicina da Faculdade Pernambucana de Saúde (FPS) acerca da abordagem referente à morte e ao morrer durante a graduação, verificar a importância disso na formação médica e descrever esse tema por meio da perspectiva dos estudantes. Também se objetifica identificar aspectos que influenciam a percepção dos graduandos acerca do tema. Método: É um estudo exploratório, de corte transversal, com metodologia quantitativa, realizado entre agosto de 2020 e julho de 2021. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de questionários on-line, com amostra de 365 sujeitos, após aceite e marcação no Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido, enviados aos alunos por e-mail. Para análise, adotou-se o software Epi-Info, em que se utilizaram frequências relativas e absolutas para descrever as variáveis qualitativas e medidas de posição e dispersão para descrever variáveis quantitativas. Para verificação de relações, foi utilizado o teste de qui-quadrado, considerando um nível de significância de 5%. O estudo seguiu todos os preceitos da Resolução nº 510/2016 do Conselho Nacional de Ética em Pesquisa e teve aprovação do Comitê de Ética da FPS - Parecer nº 4.228.016. Resultado: A maioria dos alunos associa angústia, medo e tristeza ao processo de morte e concorda que a discussão desse processo na graduação impacta o exercício da medicina e o bem-estar psicossocial do médico. Os estudantes concordam que a abordagem do processo de morte aconteceu em raros momentos durante a graduação e julgam necessária a inclusão de mais disciplinas que tratem do tema. Conclusão: A discussão acerca do processo de morte e morrer durante a graduação em Medicina é necessária, e recomenda-se a inserção de módulos que abordem o tema no curso da FPS, a fim de contribuir para a compreensão dos estudantes acerca desse processo e o preparo psicológico deles para lidar com a morte no exercício da profissão. Resumo: Introdução: A compressão medular é uma complicação comum de metástases da coluna vertebral e de mieloma múltiplo. Cerca de 30% dos pacientes com câncer desenvolvem metástases sintomáticas na coluna no decorrer da doença. O diagnóstico imediato e o tratamento cirúrgico dessas lesões, embora paliativos, em geral reduzema morbidade e melhoram a qualidade de vidaao ampliar a capacidade de deambular. Desenho do estudo: Revisão retrospectiva de prontuários médicos. Objetivo: Avaliar a recuperação funcional pós-operatória e o perfil epidemiológico da compressão medular neoplásica em dois centros de neurocirurgia do sul do Brasil. Métodos: Analisamos retrospectivamente os dados de todos os pacientes submetidos à cirurgia paliativa de lesão neoplásica sintomática da coluna decorrente decâncer metastático, em dois centros neurocirúrgicos entre janeiro de 2003 e julho de 2021. Foram analisadas as variáveis idade, sexo, estado neurológico, tipo histológico, segmento acometido, complicações e tempo de internação. Resultados: Foram incluídos 82 pacientes no estudo. As lesões ocorreram na coluna torácica em 60 casos. À internação, 95% dos pacientes apresentavam déficits neurológicos, sendoa maioria classificada como Frankel C (37%). Na análise histopatológica, o câncer de mama foi o sítio primário mais comum. Depois da cirurgia, 46 pacientes (56%) tiveram o estado neurológico reclassificado pela escala de Frankel. Entre eles, 22 (47%) recuperaram a capacidade de deambular. Conclusões: O tratamento cirúrgico da compressão medular metastática melhorou o estado neurológico e a capacidade de deambulação em nossa amostra. Nível de evidência II; Estudo retrospectivo.

ABSTRACT Background: Spinal cord compression is a common complication of spine metastasis and multiple myeloma. About 30% of patients with cancer develop symptomatic spinal metastases during their illness. Prompt diagnosis and surgical treatment of these lesions, although palliative, are likely to reduce the morbidity and improve quality of life by improving ambulatory function. Study Design: Retrospective review of medical records. Objective: To evaluate postoperative functional recovery and the epidemiological profile of neoplastic spinal cord compression in two neurosurgical centers in southern Brazil. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data of all patients who underwent palliative surgery for symptomatic neoplastic spine lesion from metastatic cancer, in two neurosurgical centers, between January 2003 and July 2021. The variables age, sex, neurological status, histological type, affected segment, complications and length of hospitalization were analyzed. Results: A total of 82 patients were included. The lesions occurred in the thoracic spine in 60 cases. At admission, 95% of the patients had neurological deficits, most of which were Frankel C (37%). At histopathological analysis, breast cancer was the most common primary site. After surgery, the neurological status of 46 patients (56%) was reclassified according to the Frankel scale. Of these, 22 (47%) regained ambulatory capacity. Conclusion: Surgical treatment of metastatic spinal cord compression improved neurological status and ambulatory ability in our sample. Aproximadamente el 30% de los pacientes con cáncer desarrollan metástasis espinales sintomáticas en el curso de la enfermedad. El diagnóstico precoz y el tratamiento quirúrgico de estas lesiones, aunque son paliativos, suelen reducir la morbilidad y mejor en lacalidad de vida al aumentar la de ambulación. Diseño del estudio: Revisión retrospectiva de registros médicos. Objetivo: Evaluarla recuperación funcional postoperatoria y el perfil epidemiológico de la compresión medular neoplásica en dos centros neuroquirúrgicos del sur de Brasil. Métodos: Analizamos retrospectivamente los datos de todos los pacientes sometidos a cirugía paliativa por lesión vertebral neoplásica sintomática por cáncer metastásico, en dos centros neuroquirúrgicos entre enero de 2003 y julio de 2021. Se analizaron las variables edad, sexo, estado neurológico, tipo histológico, segmento afectado, complicaciones y duración de la hospitalización. Resultados: Se incluyeron 82 pacientes en el estudio. Las lesiones se produjeron en la columna torácica en 60 casos. Al ingreso, el 95% de los pacientes presentaban déficits neurológicos y la mayoría de ellos eran clasificados como Frankel C (37%). En el análisis histopatológico, elcáncer de mama fue el sitio primario más común. Después de la cirugía, se reclasificó el estado neurológico de 46 pacientes (56%) por la escala de Frankel. Entre ellos, 22 (47%) recuperaron la capacidadde deambulación. Conclusiones: El tratamiento quirúrgico de la compresión medular metastásica mejoró el estado neurológico y la capacidad de deambulación en nuestra muestra. Resumo: O tamanho das sementes de soja é um fator que ainda necessita de estudos, pois a relação tamanho das sementes, qualidade fisiológica, estabelecimento e produtividade no campo apresenta controvérsias. Objetivou-se avaliar os efeitos do tamanho das sementes no estabelecimento da cultura da soja e na qualidade fisiológica das sementes. Em campo utilizou-se fatorial 2 x 3 x 3, sendo, duas cultivares (M 5947 IPRO e 59HO124 IPRO), três tamanhos de sementes (5.5, 6.0 e 6.5 mm) e três estandes de plantas (280.000, 320.000 e 360.000 plantas.ha-1). Foram avaliados características agronômicas e produtividade de grãos. Após a colheita, as sementes das parcelas com população de 320.000 plantas foram classificadas por tamanho utilizando-se peneiras com crivos circulares, 5.5 mm, 6.0 mm, 6.5 mm e 7.0 mm de diâmetro. Para a avaliação da qualidade fisiológica, considerou-se esquema fatorial 2 x 4, sendo, 2 cultivares e 4 tamanhos de sementes. Avaliou-se germinação, emergência em canteiro, envelhecimento acelerado, matéria seca de plântulas e índice de velocidade de emergência. Sementes menores dão origem a plantas mais baixas e com menor altura de inserção do primeiro legume. Sementes maiores apresentam maior qualidade fisiológica. A cultivar M 5947 IPRO apresentou melhores desempenho e qualidade de sementes.

Abstract: The size of soybean seeds needs further study because its relationships with physiological quality, field establishment, and yield are controversial. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of seed size on soybean establishment and seed physiological quality. In the field, a 2x3x3 factorial design was used, with two cultivars (M 5947 IPRO and 59HO124 IPRO), three seed sizes (5.5, 6.0, and 6.5 mm), and three sowing densities (280,000, 320,000, and 360,000 plants.ha-1). Agronomic traits and grain yield were evaluated. After harvest, only seeds from plots with a population of 320,000 plants were classified by size using circular sieves with 5.5-mm, 6.0-mm, 6.5-mm, and 7.0-mm mesh sizes. For the evaluation of physiological quality, a 2x4 factorial design was applied, with two cultivars and four seed sizes. Germination, seedling emergence, accelerated aging, seedling dry matter, and emergence speed index were evaluated. Smaller seeds gave rise to shorter plants with a lower first pod insertion height. Larger seeds had higher physiological quality. The M 5947 IPRO cultivar showed better seed performance and quality.

ABSTRACT Background: Guillian Barré syndrome (GBS) is an acute autoimmune polyradiculoneuropathy often associated with previous exposure to infectious agents. Methods: A clinical cohort of 41 patients with GBS admitted to the Base Hospital Institute of the Federal District between May 2017 and April 2019 was followed up for 1 year. Serological tests for arbovirus detection and amplification of nucleic acids using polymerase chain reaction for zika virus (ZIKV), dengue virus (DENV), and chikungunya virus (CHIKV) were performed. Results: The cohort consisted of 61% men with a median age of 40 years, and 83% had GBS-triggering events. A total of 54% had Grade 4 disability, 17% had Grade 3, 12% had Grade 2, 10% had Grade 5, and 7% had Grade 1. The classic form occurred in 83% of patients. Nerve conduction evaluations revealed acute demyelinating inflammatory polyneuropathy (51%), acute motor axonal neuropathy (17%), acute sensory-motor neuropathy (15%), and indeterminate forms (17%). Four patients were seropositive for DENV. There was no laboratory detection of ZIKV or CHIKV infection. Ninety percent of patients received human immunoglobulin. Intensive care unit admission occurred in 17.1% of the patients, and mechanical ventilation was used in 14.6%. One patient died of Bickerstaff’s encephalitis. Most patients showed an improvement in disability at 10 weeks of follow-up. Conclusions: GBS in the Federal District showed a variable clinical spectrum, and it was possible to detect recent exposure to DENV.

RESUMO: Os porta-enxertos são amplamente utilizados na viticultura devido à sua resistência aos estresses biótico e abiótico. Além disso, os porta-enxertos podem afetar o crescimento da videira e a qualidade dos frutos. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a compatibilidade e o desenvolvimento inicial de videiras ‘BRS Magna’ enxertada em diferentes porta-enxertos. A técnica de enxertia em fenda foi utilizada. A porcentagem de sobrevivência variou de 0% (VR043-43) a 98,33% (101-14 MGT) e os porta-enxertos foram agrupados em três grupos distintos. Os porta-enxertos ‘IAC 313 Tropical’ e ‘SO4’ foram os de maior vigor em relação ao crescimento inicial da parte aérea. Já ‘IAC 572 Jales’, ‘Harmony’, ‘3309 Couderc’ e ‘Gravesac’ tiveram o melhor equilíbrio entre o crescimento inicial da parte aérea e o desenvolvimento das raízes. ‘BRS Magna’ quando enxertada nos porta-enxertos ‘IAC 313 Tropical’, ‘SO4’ e ‘101-14 MGT’ apresentou as maiores taxas de desenvolvimento inicial, enquanto que, quando enxertada em ‘R99’, ‘R110’ e ‘420A’, apresentou os menores valores iniciais de desenvolvimento.

ABSTRACT: Rootstocks are widely used in viticulture due to their resistance to biotic and abiotic stress. Additionally, rootstocks can affect vine growth and fruit quality. This study evaluated the compatibility and initial developmental of the ‘BRS Magna’ grafted on different rootstocks The wedge graft technique on woody cuttings was utilized. The percentage of survival ranged from 0% (‘VR043-43’) to 98.33% (‘101-14 MGT’), and the rootstock were grouped into three distinct groups. ‘IAC 313 Tropical’ and ‘SO4’ rootstocks were those ones with the highest vigor in relation to initial shoot growth. However, ‘IAC 572 Jales’, ‘Harmony’, ‘3309 Couderc’ and ‘Gravesac’ had the best balance between initial shoot growth and root development. The ‘BRS Magna’ when grafted on rootstocks ‘IAC 313 Tropical’, ‘SO4’ and ‘101-14 MGT’ showed the highest initial development rates, while when grafted on ‘R99’, ‘R110’ and ‘420A’, it showed the lowest initial development.

Abstract Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is one of the several important techniques currently available for companies in search of performance improvement. The step forward in RPA is its association with Artificial Intelligence for more skilled robots. This scenario is not different in Power Distribution Utilities, in which a multitude of complex processes must be executed over different data sources. Making such situation even more complex, these processes are frequently regulated and subject to audit by external bodies. However, an old question remains: what should be robotized and what should be done by humans? This paper aims at partially answering the question in the context of data analysis tasks used for making decisions in complex processes. The research development is conducted based on an Artificial Intelligence methodology incorporated into one software robot (RPA) which acquires data automatically, treats and analyzes these data, helping the human professional take decisions in the process. It is applied to a real case process that is important for validating the research. Four approaches are tested in the data analysis, but only two are really used. The robot analyzes a series of information from an energy consumption meter. The detection of possible behavior deviations in the meter data is made by comparison with its data series. The robot is capable of prioritizing the detected occurrences in the energy consumption data, indicating to the human operator the most critical situations that require attention. The association of Artificial Intelligence and RPA is viable and can really apport important benefits to the company and teams, valuing human work and bringing more efficiency to the processes.
