Abstract: This article analyzes the importance of postal correspondence as a communication tool for organizations and networks of dissident sexualities throughout the Brazilian dictatorship (1964-1985). For this investigative challenge, we use three documentary collections from the Edgard Leuenroth Archive (ael/Unicamp): the folders of the group somos, the Grupo de Ação Lésbico Feminista (galf) and the group Outra Coisa. Through the letters sent to these groups, it is possible to perceive the capillarity of their political action, and the importance of their action for people from many regions of the country, especially between 1978 and 1985. These letters also make it possible to understand the different subjectivities, the traumas experienced by people and the articulations between groups at the end of the dictatorship in Brazil.

Resumo: Este artigo analisa a importância da correspondência postal como ferramenta de comunicação para as organizações e redes das sexualidades dissidentes ao longo da ditadura brasileira (1964-1985). Para esse desafio investigativo, utilizamos três coleções documentais do Arquivo Edgard Leuenroth (ael/Unicamp): as pastas do grupo somos, do Grupo de Ação Lésbico Feminista (galf) e do grupo Outra Coisa. Através das cartas enviadas a esses grupos, é possível ver a capilaridade de sua ação política, e a importância de sua atuação para pessoas de muitas regiões do país, sobretudo entre os anos de 1978 e 1985. Estas cartas também possibilitam a compreensão das diversas subjetividades, dos traumas vividos pelas pessoas e as articulações entre grupos no final da ditadura no Brasil.

Resumo Neste artigo abordamos as relações dos feminismos no Brasil com as forças e discursos políticos de esquerda e de direita que emergiram, de maneira massiva, a partir do início do milênio, e que têm sido identificadas como populismos. No contexto da chamada “maré rosa”, o Brasil viveu, de 2004 a 2016, quatro governos eleitos a partir de um grande apelo ao popular e às políticas sociais de inclusão das camadas menos favorecidas da sociedade. A partir do Golpe parlamentar e midiático de 2016, revestido por um processo de impeachment da Presidenta Dilma Roussef, outras forças políticas emergiram no cenário, com um cunho conservador de direita. Feminismos também emergiram nesse contexto com muita visibilidade, especialmente a partir de 2011, em manifestações e organizações bastante diversificadas como as Marchas das Vadias, as Marchas das Margaridas (camponesas), ocupações em escolas e universidades, a Marcha das Mulheres Negras, a Primavera Feminista, a greve de mulheres 8M, entre outras. Nosso objetivo é refletir sobre os desafios dos feminismos nos embates com essas forças políticas de esquerda ou direita, e seu papel político no Brasil contemporâneo a partir de um olhar da história do tempo presente.

Abstract This article addresses the relations of Brazilian feminisms with leftist and rightist political forces and discourses that massively emerged at the beginning of the millennium and that have been identified as populisms. During the so-called “pink wave” in Brazil from 2004 to 2016, four governments were elected due to the strong demand of inclusive social policies for the least favored layers of society. Other political right-wing and conservative forces emerged after the parliamentary and media coup of 2016, which was disguised as the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff. That situation also allowed feminisms to emerge, having great visibility, especially since 2011, in demonstrations and organizations that are quite diversified, such as the “Sluts March”, the “March of the Daisies” (peasant women), occupations of schools and universities, the “March of Black Women”, the “Feminist Spring”, “women’s 8M strike”, among others. Our objective is to debate the challenges presented by feminisms in the encounters with leftist or rightist political forces, and what is their political role in contemporary Brazil, analyzing the history of the present.

Resumo: Os afetos que atravessam os corpos tanto são moldados pelas estruturas e práticas políticas e sociais quanto são capazes de moldá-las (Sara AHMED, 2015). Emoções como a dor e a indignação, sentidas por sujeitas do feminismo diante da opressão e da desigualdade, podem tanto transformar quanto serem transformadas em espaços coletivos de luta, fazendo surgir a esperança, o pertencimento e a força no contato entre corpos e subjetividades. Por meio da análise de entrevistas feitas com organizadoras das Marchas das Vadias de cinco capitais brasileiras, neste artigo visamos à análise do papel das emoções e dos afetos no engajamento das ativistas com o feminismo das MdV, consideradas mobilizações que recolocaram as reivindicações feministas nas ruas, a partir da segunda década do século XXI.

Abstract: The affects that cross bodies are both shaped by and capable of shaping political and social structures and practices (Sara AHMED, 2015). Emotions such as pain and indignation, felt by feminist subjects in the face of oppression and inequality, can both transform and be transformed into collective spaces of struggle, giving rise to hope, belonging and strength in the contact between bodies and subjectivities. Through the analysis of interviews with organizers of Marchas das Vadias in five Brazilian capitals, this article aims to analyze the role of emotions and affects in the engagement of activists with the feminism of the MdV, considered mobilizations that put the feminist claims back in the streets from the second decade of the 21st century.
