Resumen El artículo expone la noción de temporalidad discontinua implícita formalmente en la fenomenología de la conciencia interna del tiempo de Husserl y las correspondencias equivalentes que se encuentran en una lectura atenta de la obra de Marcel Proust. Para eso se reconstruye la peculiar noción de tiempo implícita en la obra de ambos autores mostrando el sentido diferencial y discontinuo que la misma reviste. A partir de dicha reconstrucción se desarrollan las implicaciones críticas que la misma acarrea respecto de las concepciones tradicionales de memoria, subjetividad y corporalidad. Finalmente se hacen algunas consideraciones respecto de las influencias recíprocas entre filosofía y arte.

Abstract The article exposes the notion of a discontinuous temporality formally implied in Husserl's phenomenology of internal time consciousness and its corresponding equivalencies found in an attentive reading of the work of Marcel Proust. To this end, the peculiar notion of time implicit in the work of both authors is reconstructed showing the differential and discontinuous sense that this notion has. It is developed the critical implications that this reconstruction carries with it regarding the traditional conceptions of memory, subjectivity and corporeality. Finally, some considerations are made regarding the reciprocal influences between philosophy and art.

Resumen Esta investigación ofrece un esbozo de una forma alternativa de concebir la categoría clásica de la subjetividad que subyace al concepto de objeción de conciencia y de desobediencia civil. La mayoría de los puntos de vista habituales sobre este tema se centran en el individuo y sus derechos. Demostrando que este enfoque es insuficiente y, por lo tanto, insatisfactorio, esta investigación destaca la importancia de conceptualizar de nuevo la categoría de subjetividad, lo que a su vez hará posible una nueva forma de conceptualizar la noción de objeción de conciencia, es decir, pensar en ella no más como un derecho individual, sino como un deber de responsabilidad social. Para la explicitación de este enfoque alternativo, esta investigación se basa principalmente en la obra de Emmanuel Levinas, quien centra todas sus reflexiones filosóficas en la perspectiva del otro (autrui).

Abstract This research offer an sketch of an alternative way of conceiving the classic category of subjectivity which underlies the concept of conscientious objection and civil disobedience. Most usual viewpoints on this topic focuses on the individual and his/her rights. Through showing that this approach is not satisfying and insufficient, this research highlights the importance of conceptualizing anew the category of subjectivity, which in turn makes possible a new way of conceptualizing the conscientious objection, i.e. thinking of it not any more as an individual right but as a social responsibility duty. To address this alternative approach this research draws upon mostly the work of Emmanuel Levinas, who focus all his philosophical reflections on the perspective of the other (autrui).

ABSTRACT The paper proposes a genealogy of the biomedical paradigm surrounding childbirth, with the aim of deconstructing the principles of rationalism that led to the objectification of the body and to the consequent commodification of birth. We intend to demonstrate how such a conception of the body and of sensibility determines the birth process, which leads us to consider it an event that is relational in nature. Methodologically, this deconstruction is carried out through a critical-descriptive genealogy of the theoretical assumptions of the rationalist conception of the body. By developing the concept of ecology of childbirth, we intend to call into question this relational nature of the body and to recover the value of corporeality and embodiment as a language of proximity, within a theoretical framework of the ethics of difference. This vindication of the ecological-relational nature of sensibility has the potential to establish a dynamic of responsibility and cooperation capable of subverting the rationalist logic of control and the dominion of the current biomedical paradigm.

RESUMEN El presente artículo ofrece una genealogía del paradigma biomédico del parto, con el objetivo de deconstruir los principios del racionalismo que condujeron a la objetivación del cuerpo y la consecuente mercantilización del nacimiento. Se pretende demostrar cómo dicha concepción del cuerpo y de la sensibilidad determina el proceso del nacimiento, en tanto acontecimiento de carácter relacional. Metodológicamente, esta deconstrucción se lleva a cabo a través de una genealogía crítico-descriptiva de los presupuestos teóricos de la concepción racionalista del cuerpo. A través del desarrollo del concepto de ecología del parto se propone, a su vez, repensar dicho carácter relacional a partir de una propuesta valorativa de lo corporal, es decir del cuerpo entendido como lenguaje de proximidad tomando como marco de referencia teórico la ética de la diferencia. Esta reivindicación del carácter ecológico-relacional de la sensibilidad tiene potencial para instaurar una dinámica de cooperación y responsabilidad que subvierta la lógica racionalista del control y el dominio que rige el paradigma biomédico vigente.

En el presente artículo se intenta poner de relieve cómo la comprensión levinasiana del tiempo contribuye a la recuperación del valor y del sentido del instante presente, el cual ha sido menospreciado hasta nuestros días en gran parte de la tradición filosófica en tanto concebido a partir del tiempo, pensado este último como duración. Se trata así pues de pensar el sentido propio del instante en sí mismo, en cuanto momento presente, independientemente del sentido funcional que se le asigna como parte de un conjunto -la duración- que lo abarca y en el que se absorbe. Se tratará por lo tanto de imaginar otras metáforas para explicar el acaecer temporal, distintas de la del punto, de la línea o de la del flujo del devenir; metáforas a partir de las cuales el tiempo ha sido siempre comprendido como un continuo homogéneo. Estas representaciones abstractas del tiempo presentan un orden que reúne los instantes, pero carecen de la noción de un instante central: ese instante por excelencia que es el presente.

In this article I seek to highlight how Levinas's understanding of time contributes to recover the value and meaning of the present moment, which has been underestimated in the philosophical tradition to this day insofar as it was conceived based on time, understood the latter as simple duration. I try therefore, hereby, to think of the meaning of the instant itself, as present, regardless of the functional meaning ascribed to it as part of a whole - the duration - in which it would be encompassed and absorbed. I try therefore to imagine another metaphor to explain the temporal occurrence, other than the point, the line or the flow of becoming; based on this metaphors, time have always been understood as a homogeneous continuous. This is, according to Levinas, an abstract representation of time itself where there is an order of the moments, but where does not actually exist the notion of a central moment: that moment par excellence that is the present.

In the present paper it is shown, following Levinas, that Ethics, understood as an intersubjective relation among completely separate subjects, sets itself up starting from concrete events that determine man's historical existence, but these are invested with the peculiarity of being events which escape the ontological order. Rather, they send to somewhere beyond, outside ontology, signifying above all in an ethical fashion, i.e., in a way other than being.

En el presente trabajo se demuestra, siguiendo a Levinas, que la ética, entendida como la relación intersubjetiva entre sujetos absolutamente separados, se instaura a partir de acontecimientos concretos que determinan la existencia histórica del hombre, pero revistiendo éstos la particularidad de ser acontecimientos que escapan al orden ontológico. Antes bien, remiten a un más allá, a un fuera-de la ontología significando ante todo de manera ética, es decir de otro modo que ser.
