Resumo A tensão entre a Muttersprache (língua materna) e a Mördersprache (língua dos assassinos) no interior da língua alemã confere forma à poesia de Paul Celan. Como, então, é possível trapacear a língua em meio à tensão insolúvel desse campo, no qual a memória afetiva não pode ser restaurada sem a prenhez da morte? Essa é uma questão abordada no artigo, que ainda procura apreender como a negatividade da barbárie reduz a linguagem e qualquer possibilidade de intercâmbio entre as línguas a um balbucio que demarca a língua em direção às suas cicatrizes e dores irreparáveis, uma vez que a herança linguística originada do seio materno também suporta a tradição que germina a barbárie.

Abstract The tension between Muttersprache (mother tongue) and Mördersprache (murderers’ language) within the German language shapes Paul Celan's poetry. How, then, is it possible to cheat language amid the unresolved tension of this realm, in which affective memory cannot be restored without the gestation of death? This is a question addressed in the article, which also seeks to discern how the negativity of barbarism reduces language and any possibility of interchange between languages to a babbling that delineates language in the direction of its scars and irreparable pains, as the linguistic heritage originated in the mother’s womb also sustain the tradition in which barbarism sprouts.

Resumen La tensión entre Muttersprache (lengua materna) y Mördersprache (lengua de los asesinos) dentro del idioma alemán da forma a la poesía de Paul Celan. ¿Cómo, entonces, es posible engañar a la lengua en medio de la tensión insoluble de este campo, en el que la memoria afectiva no puede recuperarse sin el embarazo de la muerte? Este es un tema abordado en el artículo, que aún busca aprehender cómo la negatividad de la barbarie reduce el lenguaje y cualquier posibilidad de intercambio entre lenguas a un balbuceo que demarca la lengua hacia sus cicatrices y dolor irreparable, ya que la herencia lingüística originada a partir del pecho de la madre también sostiene la tradición que germina la barbarie.

Resumo O presente artigo pretende compreender a poesia de Paul Celan como uma “poesia da negatividade”, priorizando o seu aspecto negativo que não permite a o apaziguamento ou a síntese da violência em sua obra. Assim, espera-se evidenciar a constelação mortuária presente na poesia celaniana como um instante revelador da tensão inerente ao poético que se põe em contato com o corpo em ruína.

Abstract This article intends to understand Paul Celan's poetry as a “poetry of negativity”, prioritizing its negative aspect that does not allow the appeasement or synthesis of violence in his work. We thus hope to highlight the mortuary constellation present in Celan’s poetry as an instant that reveals the inherent tension of the poetic that comes into contact with the ruined body.

Résumé Cet article entend comprendre la poésie de Paul Celan comme une «poésie de la négativité», en privilégiant son aspect négatif qui ne permet pas l'apaisement ou la synthèse de la violence dans son travail. Ainsi, on espère mettre en évidence la constellation mortuaire présente dans la poésie célanienne comme un instant qui révèle la tension inhérente de la poétique qui entre en contact avec le corps en ruine.
