This study details the preparation, antileishmanial assay, and in silico analysis of twenty 2-hydroxy-3-(1,2,3-triazolyl)propyl vanillin derivatives. These compounds were synthesized in three steps and evaluated against Leishmania infantum, Leishmania amazonensis, and Leishmania braziliensis promastigotes. Compounds 3s and 3t were the most effective, showing good activity against all Leishmania species tested. Molecular docking indicated that all compounds bind favorably to the sterol 14α-demethylase (CYP51) enzyme from L. infantum. ADMET (absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and toxicity) analysis indicated good oral bioavailability, non blood-brain barrier penetration, and high gastrointestinal absorption. Posaconazole and compounds 3e, 3s, and 3t remained stable in the CYP51 binding region during 100 ns molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. Root mean square deviation (RMSD) and root mean square fluctuations (RMSF) analyses from the MD trajectory revealed significant conformational fluctuations of the CYP51 N-terminal, suggesting occasional expulsion of 3e, potentially explaining its higher IC50 (half-maximal inhibitory concentration) values. Pairwise decomposition analyses from molecular mechanics Poisson-Boltzmann surface area (MM/PBSA) calculations highlighted the importance of hydrophobic residues in interacting with the synthesized derivatives. preparation assay 2hydroxy31,2,3triazolylpropyl 2hydroxy3123triazolylpropyl hydroxytriazolylpropyl 2 hydroxy 3 1,2,3 triazolyl propyl 1 derivatives infantum amazonensis promastigotes s t effective tested 14αdemethylase αdemethylase 14α demethylase α CYP (CYP51 L absorption, absorption (absorption distribution metabolism toxicity bioavailability bloodbrain blood brain penetration 3e e CYP5 10 (MD simulations RMSD (RMSD RMSF (RMSF Nterminal, Nterminal N terminal, terminal N-terminal IC IC5 halfmaximal half maximal concentration values PoissonBoltzmann Poisson Boltzmann MM/PBSA MMPBSA MM PBSA (MM/PBSA 2hydroxy31 3triazolylpropyl triazolylpropyl 123 1,2, (CYP5 2hydroxy3 12 1,2 (CYP 2hydroxy 1,

ABSTRACT: To evaluate hematological and biochemical parameters after testing in a new environment, and the zootechnical performance of Oreochromis niloticus classified as proactive or reactive. In experiment 1, male Nile tilapia with an average weight of 128.33 ± 34.17 g were kept in a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS). Immediately after classification, blood samples were collected from 20 reactive and 20 proactive animals. In experiment 2, 60 proactive and 60 reactive males were classified, with an average weight of 88.23 ± 21.59 g, which were divided into the following treatments: PT (40 proactive animals), RT (40 reactive) MT (20 proactive + 20 reactive ). Animals were fed twice daily for 90 days. In experiment 1, reactive animals had higher amounts of hemoglobin and cortisol and lower amounts of leukocytes detected. In experiment 2, weight gain was greater in proactive animals (PT) and reactive animals (RT); however, the best feed conversion was obtained in reactive animals. The survival rate was lower in the MT treatment group of animals. Hemoglobin and glucose had lower values for proactive animals and for those that were mixed, in the MT group. Cholesterol was higher in animals PT. It is concluded that variables such as hemoglobin, cortisol, leukocytes and cholesterol are more likely to undergo changes between personality traits. Furthermore, it can be concluded that reactive and proactive O. niloticus, grown in separate environments, have the same potential for weight gain; however, the food conversion of reactive ones is better. ABSTRACT A young woman presented at our clinic with sudden visual loss in the right eye, recurrent vertigo, and right-sided tinnitus. We performed a complete ophthalmological evaluation. This revealed effects of the condition on the small arterioles of the peripheral retina. Susac syndrome is characterized by the clinical triad of retinal arteriolar occlusions, cochleovestibular manifestations, and encephalopathy (which can be identified by neuroimaging abnormalities). Early diagnosis and immunosuppressive therapy improved the patient's visual acuity and the remission of her other symptoms. Hemi-central retinal artery occlusion is an atypical neuro-ophthalmological finding in this disease. However, its identification as a sign of Susac syndrome may facilitate timely diagnosis and accurate treatment. eye vertigo rightsided sided tinnitus evaluation retina occlusions manifestations which abnormalities. abnormalities . abnormalities) patients patient s symptoms Hemicentral Hemi central neuroophthalmological neuro disease However treatment

Abstract: This study aimed to describe the severity of abortion-related complications, factors associated with complications, the types of management and the experience of care in Brazil. A cross-sectional study in twenty hospitals (10 in Federal District, 3 in Rondônia and 7 in Maranhão). For 3 months, all women treated for abortion/miscarriage had their data collected. The severity of complications was defined according to World Health Organization criteria. Women with hemorrhage, infection or organs injury were invited to answer an interview about experience of care. Statistical analysis was performed using chi-square test and Poisson regression models. Among 1,683 women included, 82.5% had mild complications, 13.6% had moderate complications, 3.2% had potentially life-threatening conditions (PLTC) and 0.7% had severe maternal outcomes (SMO). Most women (94.2%) required uterine evacuation. Among these, 91.5% required surgical evacuation (with or without the use of uterotonics) and 8.5% used only uterotonics. The most frequent surgical evacuation method was curettage (66.9%), followed by manual vacuum aspiration (MVA) (32.3%). Factors associated with PLTC/SMO vs mild complications were having a gestational age ≥ 13 weeks (pravlence ratio - PR = 3.09; 95% confidence interval - 95%CI: 1.42-6.72), having been treated in Maranhão (PR = 0.27; 95%CI: 0.12-0.63) and in Rondônia (PR = 0.64; 95%CI: 0.20-0.99). Factors associated with moderate vs. mild complications were expulsion of products of conception before arrival to health facility (PR = 2.55; 95%CI: 1.64-3.96) and having been treated in Maranhão (PR = 0.58; 95%CI: 0.38-0.87). Most women who responded to the interview were treated kindly (95.6%), however, 66.7% felt stressed and 10.1% reported that their preferences were not respected during hospitalization. Nine out of ten women treated in Brazilian public hospitals due to abortion-related complications undergo some surgical procedure, the most common of which is uterine curettage. Approximately four in every hundred women experience severe complications. It is essential to ensure the supply of equipment for MVA and to encourage continuing medical education programs to increase the awareness of healthcare professionals about safer treatments for uterine evacuation.

ABSTRACT The hairy-tailed bolo mouse, Necromys lasiurus (Lund, 1841), which is typical of the Cerrado (CE), has been recorded in some open areas within the Atlantic Forest (AF) domain of the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro (RJ). In the CE, N. lasiurus is a known reservoir of zoonotic agents, and is the reservoir of an orthohantavirus genotype, Araraquara virus (ARAV), the etiological agent of Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS). Given this, the presence of N. lasiurus has potentially negative implications for public health in the state, and therefore it is important to elucidate the origin of its populations in RJ and their connections with populations outside the AF known to carry the ARAV. In the present study we combined phylogenetic and phylogeographic approaches to elucidate the evolutionary history of N. lasiurus populations in RJ, and to test if their dispersal into the AF domain is recent or ancient. These analyses were based on sequences of the mitochondrial Cytochrome b gene, obtained from N. lasiurus specimens from the Atlantic Forest of Rio de Janeiro (AF-RJ), together with all the sequences of this gene available for N. lasiurus in GenBank. In addition to the phylogenetic and phylogeographic analyses, the sequences were used to test among five hypothetical demographic scenarios, proposed to explain the evolutionary history of the hairy-tailed bolo mouse in the state of RJ. The results of all the analyses indicated that populations from AF and the Arid Diagonal (AD) of South America, which includes the CE, diverged in the Late Pleistocene but reconnected in the Holocene. The RJ population (AF-RJ) resulted from this recent genetic admixture among diverging populations from AF and AD. Despite the recent reconnection, no evidence has been found that the AF-RJ N. lasiurus population acts as a reservoir of ARAV, although the continued genetic connectivity with those from AD highlight the need to reinforce the public health monitoring of orthohantavirus in this rodent, especially given the potential spillover of other genotypes. Overall, then, the results of the present study provide important new insights into the evolutionary history of N. lasiurus, which should contribute to the surveillance of orthohantaviruses, and the development of more effective measures for the prevention and control of this zoonosis. hairytailed hairy tailed Lund, Lund (Lund 1841, 1841 , 1841) CE (CE) (AF . Abstract We investigate the occurrence of enterobacteria and antimicrobial resistance in passerines of the genus Sporophila seized from illegal trafficking. A total of 35 birds, apparently healthy and from illegal breeding, were sent to the Laboratory of Ornithological Studies at the State University of Ceará (Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil) by environmental agencies. Cloacal swabs were collected from each bird and subjected to traditional microbiological processing, using standard cultivation and bacterialidentification techniques. We conducted antimicrobial susceptibility testing using the disc-diffusion method. Twenty-three birds (65.7%) exhibited enterobacteria, with Escherichia coli (28.6%) and Serratia liquefaciens (25.7%) being the most common. Antimicrobial resistance in total isolates was observed most frequently in relation to ciprofloxacin (28.1%), followed by tetracycline (25.0%) and enrofloxacin (18.8%). The rate of resistance to Serratia liquefaciens was the highest (i.e., 66.6% of isolates). The birds’ cloacal samples revealed several members of the Enterobacterales order, with E. coli and S. liquefaciens being the most prevalent. We also observed antimicrobial resistance to several drugs, as well as cases of multi-resistance. Antimicrobial resistance is clearly present in wild birds resulting from illegal keeping. These findings highlight the importance of considering antimicrobial-resistant bacteria in release programs to prevent these microorganisms from dispersing into the environment. trafficking 3 breeding Fortaleza, Fortaleza (Fortaleza Brazil agencies processing techniques discdiffusion disc diffusion method Twentythree Twenty three 65.7% 657 65 7 (65.7% 28.6% 286 28 6 (28.6% 25.7% 257 25 (25.7% common 28.1%, 281 28.1% , 1 (28.1%) 25.0% 250 0 (25.0% 18.8%. 188 18.8% . 18 8 (18.8%) i.e., ie i e (i.e. 666 66 66.6 isolates. isolates) order E S prevalent drugs multiresistance. multiresistance multi resistance. multi-resistance keeping antimicrobialresistant resistant environment 65.7 (65.7 28.6 2 (28.6 25.7 (25.7 28.1 (28.1% 25.0 (25.0 18.8 (18.8% i.e. (i.e 66. 65. Abstract Cardiovascular diseases, resulting from the deposition of clots in blood vessels, are the leading cause of death worldwide. Fibrinolytic enzymatic activity can catalyze blood clot degradation. Findings show that 36 fungal isolates recovered from Caatinga soils have the potential to produce fibrinolytic protease under submerged conditions. About 58 % of the isolates displayed fibrinolytic activity above 100 U/mL, with Mucor subtilissimus UCP 1262 being the most active. The protease was biochemically and biophysically characterized, showing that the enzyme had a high affinity for SAApNA substrate and was significantly inhibited by fluoride methyl phenyl sulfonyl-C7H7FO2S, suggesting that it is a chymotrypsin-like serine protease. The highest enzyme activity was detected at pH 5.0 and 28 °C. This fibrinolytic protease’s far-UV circular dichroism (CD) showed that its secondary structure was primarily α-helical. The purified fibrinolytic enzyme may represent a novel therapeutic agent for treating thrombosis. At temperatures above 65 °C, the enzyme lost all its secondary structure. Its melting temperature was 58.1 °C, the denaturation enthalpy 85.1 kcal/mol, and the denaturation entropy 0.26 kcal/K∙mol. diseases vessels worldwide degradation 3 conditions 5 10 UmL U mL U/mL 126 active characterized sulfonylC7H7FO2S, sulfonylC7H7FO2S sulfonylCHFOS sulfonyl C7H7FO2S, C7H7FO2S C H FO S sulfonyl-C7H7FO2S chymotrypsinlike chymotrypsin like 50 0 5. 2 °C proteases s farUV far UV CD (CD αhelical. αhelical α helical. helical α-helical thrombosis 6 581 1 58. 851 85 85. kcalmol kcal mol kcal/mol 026 26 0.2 kcalKmol K kcal/K∙mol 12 sulfonylC CHFOS 8 02 0.

ABSTRACT The limited temporal completeness and taxonomic accuracy of species lists, made available in a traditional manner in scientific publications, has always represented a problem. These lists are invariably limited to a few taxonomic groups and do not represent up-to-date knowledge of all species and classifications. In this context, the Brazilian megadiverse fauna is no exception, and the Catálogo Taxonômico da Fauna do Brasil (CTFB) (http://fauna.jbrj.gov.br/), made public in 2015, represents a database on biodiversity anchored on a list of valid and expertly recognized scientific names of animals in Brazil. The CTFB is updated in near real time by a team of more than 800 specialists. By January 1, 2024, the CTFB compiled 133,691 nominal species, with 125,138 that were considered valid. Most of the valid species were arthropods (82.3%, with more than 102,000 species) and chordates (7.69%, with over 11,000 species). These taxa were followed by a cluster composed of Mollusca (3,567 species), Platyhelminthes (2,292 species), Annelida (1,833 species), and Nematoda (1,447 species). All remaining groups had less than 1,000 species reported in Brazil, with Cnidaria (831 species), Porifera (628 species), Rotifera (606 species), and Bryozoa (520 species) representing those with more than 500 species. Analysis of the CTFB database can facilitate and direct efforts towards the discovery of new species in Brazil, but it is also fundamental in providing the best available list of valid nominal species to users, including those in science, health, conservation efforts, and any initiative involving animals. The importance of the CTFB is evidenced by the elevated number of citations in the scientific literature in diverse areas of biology, law, anthropology, education, forensic science, and veterinary science, among others. publications problem uptodate up date classifications context exception (CTFB http//fauna.jbrj.gov.br/, httpfaunajbrjgovbr http //fauna.jbrj.gov.br/ , jbrj gov br (http://fauna.jbrj.gov.br/) 2015 Brazil 80 specialists 1 2024 133691 133 691 133,69 125138 125 138 125,13 82.3%, 823 82 3 (82.3% 102000 102 000 102,00 7.69%, 769 7 69 (7.69% 11000 11 11,00 . 3,567 3567 567 (3,56 2,292 2292 2 292 (2,29 1,833 1833 833 (1,83 1,447 1447 447 (1,44 1000 1,00 831 (83 628 (62 606 (60 520 (52 50 users science health biology law anthropology education others http//fauna.jbrj.gov.br/ faunajbrjgovbr //fauna.jbrj.gov.br (http://fauna.jbrj.gov.br/ 201 8 202 13369 13 133,6 12513 12 125,1 82.3% (82.3 10200 10 00 102,0 7.69% 76 6 (7.69 1100 11,0 3,56 356 56 (3,5 2,29 229 29 (2,2 1,83 183 83 (1,8 1,44 144 44 (1,4 100 1,0 (8 62 (6 60 52 (5 5 http//fauna.jbrj.gov.br (http://fauna.jbrj.gov.br 20 1336 133, 1251 125, 82.3 (82. 1020 0 102, 7.69 (7.6 110 11, 3,5 35 (3, 2,2 22 (2, 1,8 18 (1, 1,4 14 4 ( 82. Abstract This retrospective cohort study identified factors associated with loss of follow-up and death due to tuberculosis (TB) in the homeless population (HP) in Brazil, estimating odds ratios (OR) and their 95% confidence intervals (95%CI) by multinomial logistic regression. A total of 3,831 TB cases in this population were analyzed, of which 57.0% had unfavorable outcomes. Loss of follow-up was associated with: history of abandonment (OR=2.38; 95%CI 2.05-2.77), unknown HIV serology (OR=1.79; 95%CI 1.38-2.32), HIV coinfection (OR=1.73; 95%CI 1.46-2.06), drug use (OR=1.54; 95%CI 1.31-1.80), age (OR=0.98; 95%CI 0.97-0.99), mixed clinical form (OR=0.64; 95%CI 0.42-0.97), extrapulmonary form (OR=0.46; 95%CI 0.29-0.73), government beneficiary (OR=0.64; 95%CI 0.50-0.81), and supervised treatment (OR=0.52; 95%CI 0.45-0.60). Regarding death, the following were associated: age (OR=1.03; 95%CI 1.01-1.05), unknown HIV serology (OR=2.39; 95%CI 1.48-3.86), alcohol consumption (OR=1.81; 95%CI 1.27-2.58), and supervised treatment (OR=0.70; 95%CI 0.51-0.96). Overlapping vulnerabilities in the health-disease process of homeless individuals with TB were observed, requiring comprehensive and cross-sectoral care practices. followup follow up (TB HP (HP Brazil OR (OR 95 95CI CI (95%CI regression 3831 3 831 3,83 analyzed 570 57 0 57.0 outcomes OR=2.38 OR238 2 38 (OR=2.38 2.052.77, 205277 2.05 2.77 , 05 77 2.05-2.77) OR=1.79 OR179 1 79 (OR=1.79 1.382.32, 138232 1.38 2.32 32 1.38-2.32) OR=1.73 OR173 73 (OR=1.73 1.462.06, 146206 1.46 2.06 46 06 1.46-2.06) OR=1.54 OR154 54 (OR=1.54 1.311.80, 131180 1.31 1.80 31 80 1.31-1.80) OR=0.98 OR098 98 (OR=0.98 0.970.99, 097099 0.97 0.99 97 99 0.97-0.99) OR=0.64 OR064 64 (OR=0.64 0.420.97, 042097 0.42 42 0.42-0.97) OR=0.46 OR046 (OR=0.46 0.290.73, 029073 0.29 0.73 29 0.29-0.73) 0.500.81, 050081 0.50 0.81 50 81 0.50-0.81) OR=0.52 OR052 52 (OR=0.52 0.450.60. 045060 0.45 0.60 . 45 60 0.45-0.60) OR=1.03 OR103 03 (OR=1.03 1.011.05, 101105 1.01 1.05 01 1.01-1.05) OR=2.39 OR239 39 (OR=2.39 1.483.86, 148386 1.48 3.86 48 86 1.48-3.86) OR=1.81 OR181 (OR=1.81 1.272.58, 127258 1.27 2.58 27 58 1.27-2.58) OR=0.70 OR070 70 (OR=0.70 0.510.96. 051096 0.51 0.96 51 96 0.51-0.96) healthdisease health disease observed crosssectoral cross sectoral practices 9 383 83 3,8 5 57. ABSTRACT Objective: To analyze the spatiotemporal epidemiological dynamics of meningitis in Brazil, between 2010 and 2019. Methods: Descriptive ecological study with cases and deaths due to meningitis in Brazil (2010-2019) in the National Notifiable Diseases Information System (Sistema de Informações de Agravos de Notificação – SINAN). The following analyses were performed: (I) frequency analyses of cases and deaths, prevalence rates, mortality, lethality, Fisher's exact test, and chi-square test; (II) Prais-Winstein regression; and (III) Global, Local Moran's index, and Kernel density. Results: 182,126 cases of meningitis were reported in Brazil, of which 16,866 (9.26%) resulted in death, with prevalence rates of 9.03/100,000 inhabitants, mortality of 0.84/100,000 inhabitants, and lethality of 9.26%. There was a noted trend of decreasing prevalence rates (−9.5%, 95% confidence interval — 95%CI −13.92; −4.96, p<0.01) and mortality (−11.74%, 95%CI −13.92; −9.48, p<0.01), while lethality remained stable (−2.08%, 95%CI −4.9; 0.8; p<0.1941). The majority of cases were viral meningitis (45.7%), among 1-9 years old (32.2%), while the highest proportion of deaths was due to bacterial meningitis (68%), among 40-59 years old (26.3%). In the Moran and Kernel maps of prevalence and mortality rates, municipalities in the South, Southeast, and the capital of Pernambuco in the Northeast stood out with high rates; as for lethality, the North, Northeast, and Southeast coastal areas were highlighted. Conclusion: A decrease in meningitis cases and deaths was found in this study; however, the lethality rate was higher in areas with lower prevalence, emphasizing the need to enhance actions for identifying, monitoring, and providing health care for cases, as well as expanding vaccination coverage. Abstract Objectives: this study describes the occurrence of cesarean sections according to the Robson Classification in a public hospital in southern Brazil. Methods: a cross-sectional and retrospective study was conducted. Women who underwent vaginal delivery or cesarean section at the study location (gestational age >20 weeks and/or fetuses weighing > 500 g) were included. Stillbirths were excluded. Sociodemographic and obstetric data from July to November 2018 were retrospectively collected from medical records. Chi-square and linear trend tests were used for data analysis. The Robson Classification was analyzed according to World Health Organization recommendations, and the reasons for cesarean section were described. Results: the sample consisted of 1,531 women. The cesarean section rate was 39.1% (n=598). A greater incidence of cesarean sections was identified among women with no previous vaginal births, older women, those with higher educational levels, and those with more previous cesarean sections. Groups 1, 2 and 5 of the Robson Classification stood out for presenting cesarean section rates of 16%, 56.9% and 66.2%, respectively, and for totaling 60.3% of births by cesarean section in the studied institution. Conclusions: the percentage of cesarean sections found was greater than that reported in studies conducted in other countries. Groups 1 to 5 of the Robson Classification presented rates lower than values found in national literature. Groups 1, 2 and 5 should be prioritized for management and care interventions aiming to reduce cesarean rates. ABSTRACT Fruit and vegetable waste (FVW) are sugar-rich substrates that can result in hydrogen through dark fermentation. The success of dark fermentation depends on changing operation parameters, which vary based on the characteristics of the substrate. This study aimed to determine how FVW from a central horticultural wholesaler should be fermented to produce the maximum amount of hydrogen. The following goals were listed as determining the pre-treatment method (chemical, thermic, and acid) for brewery sludge and evaluating the fermentation of the liquid fraction of FVW in an anaerobic structured bed reactor (AnSTBR). The AnSTBR operation started with sucrose as substrate at a hydraulic retention time (HRT) of 6 h. Then, the sucrose was gradually replaced by FVW at the HRT of 6 h. The FVW was fed as the sole carbon source (5 g COD/L) at HRTs of 6, 12, and 3 h for at least 20 days on each condition. The heat treatment resulted in the highest cumulative hydrogen production and hydrogen production rate (HPR) (90 mL H2 and 6.6 mL H2/h). In the AnSTBR operation, the highest values of HPR were observed at 6 h (2094 L H2/m3 reactor.d). The attempt to decrease the HRT to 3 h caused a reduction in the HPR to 216 L H2/m3 reactor.d. It is highly encouraging the increase of the organic loading rate and the use of co-fermentation, aiming to reduce the size of the reactor and water expended on dilution by increasing substrate concentration in future studies. Abstract Background Patients with immune-mediated rheumatic diseases (IMRDs) have been prioritized for COVID-19 vaccination to mitigate the infection severity risks. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) are at a high risk of severe COVID-19 outcomes, especially those under immunosuppression or with associated comorbidities. However, few studies have assessed the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine in patients with RA. Objective To evaluate the safety of vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 in patients with RA. Methods This data are from the study “Safety and Efficacy on COVID-19 Vaccine in Rheumatic Diseases,” a Brazilian multicentric prospective phase IV study to evaluate COVID-19 vaccine in IMRDs in Brazil. Adverse events (AEs) in patients with RA of all centers were assessed after two doses of ChAdOx1 (Oxford/AstraZeneca) or CoronaVac (Sinovac/Butantan). Stratification of postvaccination AEs was performed using a diary, filled out daily and returned at the end of 28 days for each dose. Results A total of 188 patients with RA were include, 90% female. CoronaVac was used in 109 patients and ChAdOx1 in 79. Only mild AEs were observed, mainly after the first dose. The most common AEs after the first dose were pain at the injection (46,7%), headache (39,4%), arthralgia (39,4%), myalgia (30,5%) and fatigue (26,6%), and ChAdOx1 had a higher frequency of pain at the injection (66% vs 32 %, p < 0.001) arthralgia (62% vs 22%, p < 0.001) and myalgia (45% vs 20%, p < 0.001) compared to CoronaVac. The more common AEs after the second dose were pain at the injection (37%), arthralgia (31%), myalgia (23%), headache (21%) and fatigue (18%). Arthralgia (41,4% vs 25%, p = 0.02) and pain at injection (51,4% vs 27%, p = 0.001) were more common with ChAdOx1. No serious AEs were related. With Regard to RA activity level, no significant difference was observed between the three time periods for both COVID-19 vaccines. Conclusion In the comparison between the two immunizers in patients with RA, local reactions and musculoskeletal symptoms were more frequent with ChAdOx1 than with CoronaVac, especially after the first dose. In summary, the AE occurred mainly after the first dose, and were mild, like previous data from others immunizing agents in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
