Resumo Para investigar a influência genética em uma amostra de dentes reimplantados, é necessário observar os fenótipos extremos, como os dentes que sofreram cura funcional e os extraídos devido à reabsorção radicular externa severa. Assim, este estudo teve como objetivo investigar a associação da idade dos pacientes, desenvolvimento radicular dos dentes, assim como o meio de transporte até o reimplante e polimorfismos nos genes da interleucina 4 (IL4) e da interleucina 6 (IL6) com dentes que apresentaram cura funcional ou extração, em um grupo cujas técnicas de reimplante não seguiu a International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT) 2012. Foram incluídos 43 dentes avulsionados e reimplantados que não seguiram as diretrizes do IADT, e tiveram cura funcional ou foram extraídos. As radiografias periapicais utilizadas para este estudo foram feitas logo após o reimplante dentário e após 1 ano. Para a análise genotípica dos genes IL4 e IL6, foi extraído DNA de células da mucosa oral. PCR em tempo real realizou a análise dos polimorfismos dos genes. As variáveis clínicas e genéticas foram analisadas pelos testes Qui-quadrado e “Z”. Valores de p <0,05 foram considerados significativos. Os resultados mostraram que a cura ou perda dos dentes está associada ao meio de armazenamento e polimorfismos no gene rs2243268 da IL-4. Como conclusão, o alelo C rs2243268 do gene IL4 pode ter uma relação positiva com a cura functional do dente reimplantado. Manter o dente seco está associado a uma perda rápida de dentes avulsionados e reimplantados que não seguiram o IADT 2012.

Abstract To investigate the genetic association in a sample of replanted teeth, it is necessary to observe the extreme phenotypes, such as, teeth that underwent functional healing and those extracted due to severe external root resorption. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the association of age of the patients, root development, storage media, and polymorphisms in the interleukin 4 (IL4) and interleukin 6 (IL6) genes with teeth that presented extreme outcomes, as functional healing or extraction, in a group whose replantation techniques did not follow the International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT) 2012 guidelines. Forty-three avulsed and replanted teeth that did not follow IADT 2012 guidelines and underwent functional healing or were extracted were included. Periapical radiographs employed for this study were taken soon after tooth replantation and after 1 year. For genotypic IL4 and IL6 genes analysis, DNA of oral mucosa cells was extracted. Real-time- PCR performed for genotyping polymorphisms in IL4 and IL6 genes. Clinical and genetic variables were analyzed by the Chi-square test and the “Z” test. P values < .05 were considered significant. The results showed that functional healing and extraction were associated with storage media and with the rs2243268 of IL- 4 gene polymorphisms. As conclusion, the C rs2243268 allele of IL4 gene may have a positive relationship with functional healing teeth that were replanted not following the 2012 IADT guidelines. Keeping the tooth dry is associated to a fast loss of avulsed and replanted teeth after 1-year follow-up.

Métodos Estudo ecológico espacial com municípios como unidades de análise. Utilizou-se regressão linear espacial para verificar associações entre taxa de fecundidade em adolescentes de 15 a 19 anos e variáveis socioeconômicas e de saúde. Resultados A fecundidade na adolescência associou-se negativamente a maior cobertura da Estratégia Saúde da Família (β = -0,011 – IC95% -0,017;-0,005), número adequado de consultas de pré-natal (β = -0,122 – IC95% -0,224;-0,132) e menor renda familiar média per capita (β = -0,104 – IC95% -0,105;-0,103); e positivamente, ao índice de Gini (β = 7,031 – IC95% 4,793;9,269), baixa renda (β = 0,127 – IC95% 0,108;0,145), maior densidade domiciliar (β = 6,292 – IC95% 5,062;7,522) e baixa escolaridade (β = 0,260 – IC95% 0,224;0,295). Conclusão Menores acesso a atenção básica e renda associam-se a maior taxa de fecundidade na adolescência. Piores indicadores socioeconômicos e de atenção à saúde associam-se a maior taxa de fecundidade na adolescência.

ABSTRACT Studies show that aquatic plants are an efficient alternative to minimize the harmful effects of wastewater. Two species of aquatic macrophytes (Pistia stratiotes and Eichhornia crassipes) were chosen to evaluate the temperature effect on the performance of these macrophytes species in a post-treatment system of swine wastewater. The experiment was carried out in the municipality of Toledo, Paraná State, Brazil. For the experimental system, 24 concrete tanks with 80 L capacity were used, each measuring approximately 1.5 m in length, 0.25 m in width and 0.16 m deep. Wastewater characteristics and variables hydrogen potential (pH), electrical conductivity (EC), and dissolved oxygen (DO) were measured weekly. After, we analyzed the aquatic macrophytes and centesimal composition. The use of aquatic macrophytes was efficient for final swine wastewater polishing. Nitrogen removal showed higher efficiency in the summer period for both species studied. The abiotic variables (pH and EC) presented better results during the winter for both species evaluated. Air and wastewater low temperatures did not influence these variables. Dissolved oxygen presented better results in the summer period for E. crassipes species. There was a significant increase in N and P contents in the plant tissue. This fact proves that the use of aquatic macrophytes is an interesting alternative for swine wastewater treatment.

Resumo Os aspectos macroscópicos, histológicos e moleculares de Sarcocystis spp. foram examinados nos tecidos de dois bovinos e quatro ovinos, 16 e oito fragmentos analisados, respectivamente, condenados no matadouro. Todas as 24 amostras foram coletadas e analisadas para detecção de macrocistos e lesões macroscópicas. Posteriormente, subdivididas para exame direto, reação em cadeia da polimerase e exame histopatológico. Todas as amostras de tecidos de ovelha apresentavam cistos grosseiramente visíveis, caracterizados como brancos, de redondos a ovais e estruturas variando de 0,3 a 1 cm de diâmetro. Em contraste, os tecidos de bovinos não apresentavam cistos grosseiramente visíveis, mas tinham focos branco-amarelos com contornos irregulares, distribuídos aleatoriamente. Todas as amostras de bovinos e ovinos apresentavam cistos microscópicos. No exame histológico de tecidos ovinos foram observadas estruturas basofílicas circulares a alongadas, encapsuladas, variando de 30 a 3.000 µm de comprimento e 20 a 1.000 µm de largura dentro das fibras do músculo esquelético. Nos tecidos de bovinos, todos os quatro fragmentos de músculo cardíaco analisados continham estruturas basofílicas circulares a alongadas, dentro dos cardiomiócitos e em algumas fibras de Purkinje. PCRs foram realizadas utilizando-se os "primers" 2L e 3H. Em conclusão, todos os 24 tecidos estavam infectados com Sarcocystis spp., sendo S. gigantea (em ovinos) e S. cruzi (em bovinos) as espécies identificadas por sequenciamento.

Abstract The macroscopic, histological, and molecular aspects of Sarcocystis spp. were examined in the tissues of two cattle and four sheep, 16 and eight fragments analyzed respectively, condemned in the slaughterhouse. All 24 samples were collected and analyzed for detecting macrocysts and macroscopic lesions. Subsequently, subdivided for direct examination, polymerase chain reaction and histopathological examination. All sheep tissues samples had grossly white round to oval tissue cysts, ranging from 0.3 to 1 cm in diameter. In contrast, cattle tissues did not present grossly visible cysts but had randomly distributed white-yellow foci with irregular contours. All samples from cattle and sheep had microscopic cysts. In the histological examination of sheep tissues, circular to elongated, encapsulated, basophilic structures ranging from 30 to 3,000 µm in length and 20 to 1,000 µm in width were observed within the skeletal muscle fibers. In cattle tissues, all cardiac muscle four fragments analyzed contained circular to elongated basophilic structures inside cardiomyocytes and in some Purkinje fibers. PCR were performed using the primers: 2L and 3H. In conclusion, all 24 tissues were infected with Sarcocystis spp., and S. gigantea (in sheep) and S. cruzi (in cattle). were the identified species by sequencing.

This association was positive in relation to the Gini index (β = 7.031 – 95%CI 95%CI 4.793;9.269), low income (β = 0.127 – 95%CI 0.108;0.145), household crowding (β = 6.292 – 95%CI 5.062;7.522) and less education (β = 0.260 – 95%CI 0.224;0.295). Conclusion. Lack of access to primary care and lower income are associated with higher fertility in adolescence. Worse socioeconomic and health care indicators are associated with higher fertility rate in adolescence.

ABSTRACT Cleistocactus baumannii is the only ornithophilous cactus species in the Brazilian Chaco. In addition, this species of Cactaceae invests heavily in flowering in the ecoregion. Such characteristics motivated us to evaluate the temporal availability of flowers in the context of its floral visitors. The reproductive system of C. baumannii, the number of individuals in flowering, flower abundance and the frequency and richness of floral visitors were evaluated and quantified. Nectar robbery was a frequent phenomenon in the studied population; therefore, we compared the pollen load deposited on the stigma of damaged (robbery) and undamaged flowers. In the Brazilian Chaco, C. baumannii is self-incompatible and has a continuous flowering pattern, providing floral resources throughout the year for nine species of floral visitors. One hummingbird species acted as a potential pollinator, and we consider Xylocopa splendidula to be a nectar robber. We found stigma of flowers damaged by nectar robbers to have lower pollen loads than those of undamaged flowers. This study highlights the importance of studying reproductive traits in different populations to understand changes in the reproductive success of plant species at different scales and possible causes, such as availability of floral visitors, incidence of robbers and flowering patterns.

Abstract Background: Fibromyalgia (FM) is a musculoskeletal chronic pain syndrome that impacts negatively patient's daily lives. Its pathogenesis is characterized by a complex relationship between biological and psychosocial factors not fully understood yet. Pain catastrophizing is associated with FM and is an important predictor of outcomes. This study aimed to answer two questions: (i) whether the allele and genotype frequencies of BDNF Val66Met (rs6265) polymorphism differs between FM patients and healthy controls (HC); and (ii) if the BDNF Val66Met polymorphism is a factor that predicts pain catastrophizing in FM. Methods: In a cross-sectional design, 108 FM patients and 108 HC were included. FM patients responded to the Brazilian Portuguese version of the Pain Catastrophizing Scale (BP-PCS) to assess pain catastrophizing, as well as other validated tools for anxiety (The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory - STAI), depression (Beck Depression Inventory II -BDI-II) and functional aspects (Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire - FIQ; Central Sensitization Inventory validated and adapted for Brazilian population - CSI-BP; Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index - PSQI; and Resilience Scale). All subjects were genotyped for the BDNF Val66Met polymorphism. Results: Val allele was significantly more frequent in FM patients compared to the control group (p < 0.05). Also, FM patients with Val/Val genotype showed more pain catastrophizing thoughts, and this genotype was significantly associated with magnification and rumination dimensions of BP-PCS (p < 0.05). Furthermore, there were significant differences in levels of anxiety and symptoms of depression, years of education, and the functional situation between the FM and control groups. Conclusions: The findings show an association of BDNF Val66Met polymorphism with pain catastrophizing in FM, which opens new avenues to comprehend the interplay between molecular genetic characteristics and neuroplasticity mechanisms underpinning FM.

RESUMO: No Brasil, no mínimo 30% do total dos recursos financeiros repassados pelo governo federal para a alimentação escolar devem ser utilizados na compra de produtos da agricultura familiar. Este estudo analisa o perfil da aquisição desses produtos em municípios do Rio Grande do Sul (RS), em 2014. Foi realizado estudo transversal descritivo com informações obtidas de um questionário encaminhado aos municípios. Dos 371 municípios participantes, 367 adquiriram produtos da agricultura familiar, sendo que 86,8% deles atingiram o percentual mínimo exigido. Os nutricionistas e os agricultores foram os principais envolvidos na articulação do processo e, dentre as dificuldades enfrentadas estão a falta de organização dos produtores, a impossibilidade de cumprirem com a demanda e o desinteresse. Mais de 80% dos municípios compraram dos grupos “Hortaliças, legumes e verduras”, “Cereais, pães, massas e tubérculos” e “Frutas”, embora apenas 8% adquiriam produtos da sociobiodiversidade. Verificou-se uma grande diversidade de alimentos adquiridos, sendo a maior parte produtos in natura, apesar da baixa aquisição de produtos da sociobiodiversidade. Os resultados indicam a tendência dos municípios em fomentar a economia local, com incentivo ao consumo e produção de alimentos regionais.

ABSTRACT: In Brazil, at least 30% of the total financial resources provided by the federal government for school feeding should be used to buy products from family farming. The present study examines the profile of the purchase of these products in municipalities of the state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS), south Brazil, in 2014. A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out with information obtained through a questionnaire sent to the municipalities and filled by respondents. Of the 371 participating municipalities, 367 acquired products from family farming, and 86.8% of these municipalities achieved the minimum percentage required. Nutritionists and farmers were the main components involved in the articulation of this process. Difficulties faced by these individuals included the lack of organization of the producers, failure to meet the demand, and lack of interest. More than 80% of the municipalities bought food from the “Vegetables”, “Cereals, Breads, Pasta, and Tubers” and “Fruits” groups. Only 8% purchased products from socio-biodiversity. There was a great diversity of food purchased, most of which were in natura, despite the low acquisition of socio-biodiversity products. Results of this study indicated the concern and tendency of the Brazilian municipalities to support the local economy with incentives to consumption and production of regional foods.

Estudo transversal realizado com 300 mulheres atendidas em um hospital de referência em oncologia no Espírito Santo. Utilizou-se o instrumento “Life Events Units- LEU/VAS”, para avaliar os eventos de vida relatados pelas mulheres. Os dados foram analisados através dos testes não paramétrico de Wilcoxon e qui-quadrado. Foi realizado cálculo de “odds ratio” para as variáveis associadas à metástase. Identificou-se que 21% da amostra relatou pelo menos um evento de vida após o diagnóstico. Das 46 mulheres que evoluíram para metástase, 20 relataram um ou mais eventos de vida (p = 0,001). O “odds ratio” calculado aponta que ter eventos de vida pós-diagnóstico aumenta em 2,59 (1,37 – 4,91; p = 0,003) vezes a chance de desenvolver metástase. Quando considerado o tempo transcorrido entre o diagnóstico e o surgimento da metástase observou-se uma mediana de 18,0 meses. O estudo mostra uma relação entre eventos de vida e metástase, entretanto, ressalta-se a importância de uma análise mais complexa para compreender melhor os impactos causados por esses eventos no surgimento e na progressão do câncer de mama.

Cross-sectional study with 300 women attending a reference hospital in oncology in the Espírito Santo. Was used the instrument Life Events Units-LEU/VAS to evaluate life events reported by women. Data were analyzed by using the nonparametric Wilcoxon and chi-square tests. It was performed odds ratio calculation for the variables associated with metastasis. It was found that 21% of the sample reported at least one life event post diagnosis. Of the 46 women who developed metastases, 20 reported one or more life events (p = 0.001). The odds ratio calculated shows that having life events post diagnosis increases by 2.59 (1,37 – 4,91; p = 0,003) times the chance of developing metastasis. When considering the time between diagnosis and the onset of metastasis there was a median of 18.0 months. The study shows a relationship between life events and metastasis, however emphasize the importance of a more complex analysis to better understand the impacts of these events on the onset and progression of breast cancer.

Data were analyzed by using the nonparametric Wilcoxon and chi-square tests. It was performed odds ratio calculation for the variables associated with metastasis. It was found that 21% of the sample reported at least one life event post diagnosis. Of the 46 women who developed metastases, 20 reported one or more life events (p = 0.001). The odds ratio calculated shows that having life events post diagnosis increases by 2.59 (1,37 – 4,91; p = 0,003) times the chance of developing metastasis. When considering the time between diagnosis and the onset of metastasis there was a median of 18.0 months. The study shows a relationship between life events and metastasis, however emphasize the importance of a more complex analysis to better understand the impacts of these events on the onset and progression of breast cancer.

RESUMO Objetivo Investigar a suscetibilidade a antifúngicos e os fatores associados à colonização oral por espécies de Candida isoladas de pacientes HIV positivo. Métodos Estudo prospectivo realizado com amostragem por conveniência de indivíduos HIV positivo, acompanhados por um serviço de atendimento especializado da cidade de Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso, Brasil. Foram coletados swabs orais de 197 pacientes. As espécies de Candida foram identificadas por técnicas microbiológicas fenotípicas padrão e por método molecular. A suscetibilidade antifúngica foi determinada pelo método de microdiluição em caldo. Resultados Cento e um (51,3%) pacientes foram colonizados por Candida spp. Candida albicans foi a espécie mais prevalente (80%). Identificou-se um maior risco de colonização oral por espécies de Candida em pacientes com idade entre 45 e 59 anos (razão de prevalência: 1,90; IC95%: 1,57-6,31) e 60 anos ou mais (razão de prevalência: 4,43; IC95%: 1,57-34,18). A resistência ao fluconazol e ao cetoconazol foi de 1% cada e de 4% ao itraconazol. Conclusão O único fator associado à colonização oral por espécies de Candida foi ter 45 anos ou mais. Identificamos baixa taxa de resistência antifúngica aos azóis entre as leveduras isoladas de pacientes HIV positivo. Estes achados podem contribuir para selecionar o tratamento da candidíase oral em pacientes HIV positivos.

ABSTRACT Objective To investigate antifungal susceptibility and factors associated with oral colonization by Candida species in HIV-positive patients. Methods A prospective study based on convenience sampling of subjects recruited from a pool of confirmed HIV-positive individuals seen at a specialty outpatient service in Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso, Brazil). Oral swabs were collected from 197 patients. Candida species were identified by standard microbiological techniques (phenotypic and molecular methods). Antifungal susceptibility was investigated using the broth microdilution method. Results A total of 101 (51.3%) patients were Candida spp carriers. Candida albicans was the most prevalent species (80%). Patients aged 45 to 59 years (Prevalence ratios: 1.90; 95%CI: 1.57-6.31) and 60 years or older (Prevalence ratios: 4.43; 95%CI: 1.57-34.18) were at higher risk of oral colonization by Candida species. Resistance to fluconazole and ketoconazole, or to itraconazole, corresponded to 1% and 4%, respectively. Conclusion Age (45 years or older) was the only factor associated with oral colonization by Candida . Low rates of antifungal resistance to azoles were detected in yeast isolates obtained from HIV-positive patients. Findings of this study may contribute to proper therapeutic selection for oral candidiasis in HIV-positive patients.

Resumo Aproximadamente 1 em cada 76 mil gestações se desenvolvememútero unicorno sem comunicação com o colo uterino. Anomalias müllerianas uterinas são, na maioria das vezes, assintomáticas, tornando difícil o diagnóstico, que geralmente é esclarecido durante a gestação ou por conta das complicações gestacionais, como ruptura uterina, hipertensão gestacional, parto pré-termo, hemorragias pós-parto e crescimento intrauterino restrito (CIUR). Com o intuito de evitar cesáreas desnecessárias e os riscos que esse procedimento envolve, considerações devem ser feitas quanto aos diferentes métodos utilizados, e por quanto tempo é viável induzir o parto na possibilidade de útero não comunicante, mesmo sendo uma anomalia rara. Este relato descreve um caso de uma gestação que se desenvolveu em um útero unicorno não comunicante com o colo uterino e as consequências do diagnóstico tardio.

Abstract Approximately 1 in every 76,000 pregnancies develops within a unicornuate uterus with a rudimentary horn.Müllerian uterus anomalies are often asymptomatic, thus, the diagnosis is a challenge, and it is usually made during the gestation or due to its complications, such as uterine rupture, pregnancy-induced hypertension, antepartum, postpartum bleeding and intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR). In order to avoid unnecessary cesarean sections and the risks they involve, the physicians should consider the several approaches and for how long it is feasible to perform labor induction in suspected cases of pregnancy in a unicornuate uterus with a rudimentary horn, despite the rarity of the anomaly. This report describes a case of a unicornuate uterus in which a pregnancy developed in the non-communicating rudimentary horn and the consequences of the delayed diagnosis.

RESUMO A imobilização é uma condição que compromete diversos segmentos e sistemas orgânicos, inclusive o sistema respiratório, levando a alterações estruturais e funcionais. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a função pulmonar e estrutura micromecânica após 14 dias de restrição de movimento de ratas. Foram utilizados catorze ratas Wistar com massa corporal entre 210 g±50 g, distribuídas em dois grupos, compostos por (n=7) cada grupo: Controle (C) e Imobilizado (I). O procedimento de imobilização envolveu abdômen (e últimas costelas), pelve, quadril e joelho em extensão, além de tornozelo em flexão plantar, por duas semanas. Após esse período de imobilização, foi realizada a análise da função pulmonar por ventilador mecânico para pequenos animais (flexiVent) e manobras de recrutamento alveolar (MR). E, posteriormente, foram retiradas tiras do pulmão de cada animal para analisar a micromecânica pulmonar. Para a análise estatística, utilizou-se o teste t não pareado com significância estatística (p<0,05), expresso como média±erro padrão da média. O grupo I apresentou mudanças significantes nos parâmetros da resistência das vias aéreas (RN) pré-MR(C=0,067±0,003 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0,095±0,004 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0,05) e histerisividade (η) pré-MR(C=0,203±0,004 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0,248±0,013 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0,05), que retornaram a seus valores de normalidade pós-MR, considerando-se RN pós-MR (C=0,064±0,003 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0,065±0,004 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0,05) e η (C=0,209±0,005 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0,214±0,007 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0,05). Conclui-se que a imobilização acarreta alterações funcionais reversíveis no sistema respiratório após 14 dias de restrição de movimento, o que é evidenciado pela redução de RN e η pós-MR.

ABSTRACT Immobilization is a condition that affects several segments and organic systems, including the respiratory system, leading to structural and functional alterations. The purpose of this study was to analyze pulmonary function and micromechanical structure after 14 days of movement restriction in rats. Fourteen female Wistar rats with body mass between 210±50 g were used, divided into two groups, composed of (n=7) each group: Control (C) and Immobilized (I). The immobilization procedure involved the abdomen (and last ribs), pelvis, hip and knee extension and the ankle in plantar flexion in the two week period. After the immobilization period, an analysis of the pulmonary function was performed using a mechanical ventilator for small animals, flexVent, and alveolar recruitment maneuvers. Subsequently, lung strips were removed from each animal for pulmonary micromechanics analysis. Statistical analysis was performed using the unpaired t test with p<0.05, expressed as mean±standard error of the mean. Group I presented significant changes in the parameters of airway resistance (Raw) Pre RM (C=0.067±0.003 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0.095±0.004 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0.05) and Hysteresivity (η) Pre RM (C=0.203±0.004 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0.248±0.013 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0.05), which returned to their normal values after RM. Raw Post RM (C=0.064±0.003 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0.065±0.004 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0.05) and η (C=0.209±0.005 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0.214±0.007 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0.05). It is concluded that immobilization causes reversible functional changes in the respiratory system after 14 days of movement restriction evidenced by the reduction of RN and η after RM.

RESUMEN La inmobilización es una condición que compromete diversos segmentos y sistemas orgánicos incluso el sistema respiratorio, llevando a alteraciones estructurales y funcionales. El objectivo de este estudio fue analizar la función pulmonar y estructura micromecánica después de 14 días de restricción en el movimiento de ratas. Fueron utilizados catorce ratas Wistar con masa corporal entre 210 g±50 g, distribuidas en dos grupos, compuestos por (n=7) cada grupo: Control (C) y Inmobilizado (I). El procedimiento de inmobilización envolvió el abdomen (y últimas costillas), la pelvis, la cadera y la rodilla en extensión y el tobillo en flexión plantar el periodo de dos semanas. Después del periodo de inmobilización fue realizado el análisis de la función pulmonar por medio del ventilador mecánico para pequeños animales flexVent y manobras de recrutamiento alveolar (MR). Posteriormente, fueron retirados pedazos del pulmón de cada animal para análisis de la micromecánica pulmonar. Para el análisis estadística se utilizó la prueba t no pareada con significación estadística (p<0,05), expresa como media±error patrón de la media. El grupo I presentó cambios significativos en los parámetros de la resistencia de las vias aéreas (RN) pre-MR (C=0,067±0,003 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0,095±0,004 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0,05) y histerisividade (η) pre-MR(C=0,203±0,004 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0,248±0,013 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0,05), que retornaron a sus valores de normalidad después de la MR. RN post-MR (C=0,064±0,003 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0,065±0,004 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0,05) y η (C=0,209±0,005 cmH2O.s/mL, I=0,214±0,007 cmH2O.s/mL, p<0,05). Se concluye que la inmobilización conlleva alteraciones funcionales reversibles en el sistema respiratorio, después de 14 días de restricción en el movimiento evidenciado por la reducción de la RN y η después de la MR.

RESUMO Apresentamos listagem da entomofauna visitante de flores do estado de Mato Grosso do Sul (MS) com base na compilação de informações obtidas em 17 estudos, a maioria realizado em áreas de Cerrado (n = 11) e menos frequentemente no Pantanal (n = 6). Foram registrados 10 grupos de insetos, pertencentes a seis ordens, 80 famílias e 411 espécies. Maior riqueza foi amostrada para o Cerrado (307 spp.) que Pantanal (147 spp.), com somente 43 espécies (10,4%) em comum entre estes biomas. Anthophila foi o grupo mais rico (155 spp.), seguido por besouros (82), borboletas/mariposas (53) e vespas (45), que junto totalizaram 81,5% das espécies. Maior riqueza de abelhas está relacionada ao fato da maioria dos trabalhos enfocarem este grupo, além da especialização deste grupo na utilização de recursos florais. Surpreendente foi o segundo lugar ocupado por besouros em relação a outros visitantes mais “ativos” e “habituais”, como lepidópteros e moscas. Em MS os acervos e grupos de pesquisa com entomofauna antófila são restritos e/ou incipientes, sendo necessário fortalecimento dos mesmos através de parcerias, intercâmbios e formação de recursos humanos na área.

ABSTRACT We present a checklist of the anthophilous entomofauna of Mato Grosso do Sul state (MS) based on information compiled from 17 studies, most of them achieved in Cerrado vegetation (n = 11) and less frequently in the Pantanal (n = 6). We recorded 10 groups of insects, belonging to six orders, 80 families and 411 species. Higher richness was sampled for Cerrado (307 spp.) compared to Pantanal (147 spp.), with only 43 species (10.4%) common to both biomes. Anthophila was the richest group (155 spp.), followed by beetles (82), butterflies/moths (53) and wasps (45), which totalized 81.5% of species. The highest richness of bees is related to the fact the most studies are concentrated in this group, besides the specialization of this group in utilization of floral resources. Surprising was the beetles occupying second place compared to others more “active” and “habitual” visitors, such as butterflies and flies. The entomofauna collections and research teams in MS are limited and/or incipient and they should be strenghtened through partnerships, exchange and capacity building in this biological group.
