RESUMO As Savanas tropicais cobrem uma área de aproximadamente 1,9 bilhões de hectares ao redor do mundo e estão sujeitas a incêndios regulares a cada 1-4 anos. Objetivou-se avaliar a influência da queima de madeira proveniente do desmatamento do Cerrado na variabilidade espacial das propriedades químicas do solo, em campo. Os dados foram analisados utilizando-se métodos geoestatísticos. Os semivariogramas para pH(H2O), pH(CaCl2), Ca, Mg e K foram calculados de acordo com modelos esféricos, enquanto o fósforo apresentou efeito pepita puro. Os semivariogramas cruzados mostraram correlações entre pH(H2O) e pH(CaCl2) com outras variáveis com dependência espacial (Ca e Mg trocáveis e K disponível). Os mapas de variabilidade das concentrações de pH(H2O), pH(CaCl2), Ca, Mg e K também apresentaram padrões semelhantes de variabilidade espacial, indicando que a queima da vegetação após o desmatamento causou arranjo espacial bem definido. Mesmo após 20 anos de uso com agricultura, a distribuição espacial de pH(H2O), pH(CaCl2), Ca, Mg e K disponível foi afetada pela queima da madeira que ocorreu após enleiramento, durante o desmatamento inicial.

ABSTRACT Tropical Savannas cover an area of approximately 1.9 billion hectares around the word and are subject to regular fires every 1 to 4 years. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of burning windrow wood from Cerrado (Brazilian Savanna) deforestation on the spatial variability of soil chemical properties, in the field. The data were analysed by using geostatistical methods. The semivariograms for pH(H2O), pH(CaCl2), Ca, Mg and K were calculated according to spherical models, whereas the phosphorus showed a nugget effect. The cross semi-variograms showed correlations between pH(H2O) and pH(CaCl2) with other variables with spatial dependence (exchangeable Ca and Mg and available K). The spatial variability maps for the pH(H2O), pH(CaCl2), Ca, Mg and K concentrations also showed similar patterns of spatial variability, indicating that burning the vegetation after deforestation caused a well-defined spatial arrangement. Even after 20 years of use with agriculture, the spatial distribution of pH(H2O), pH(CaCl2), Ca, Mg and available K was affected by the wood windrow burning that took place during the initial deforestation.

The increase in demand for food has forced human beings to the search and adoption of production systems and techniques. In this paper, the maize yield was quantified in four tillage systems: conservation tillage (Lc), no-tillage without mulch (Lo), shallow tillage with harrow (Rm) and disc plow tillage (Ar); considering factors such as plant density, ears per plant and grains per ear. The experimental design was split plots with two factors and two replications per locality; B factor represented by the small plot under four treatments; split plot in the A factor, represented by the large plot using subsoiling and without subsoiling. The location of the study was on plots in the locations: La Tinaja, La Croix, San Isidro and Alista; Creole seed was used in the area, using 20 kg ha-1, the used fertilization was the 100-60-00 Formula; all Phosphorus was deposited on the sowing, the remaining was distributed at the first and second weeding. The obtained results demonstrated that the maize yield was lower in no-tillage without mulch treatment, the best results were at Lc with 8 ton ha-1 in "La Tinaja" and "La Croix" communities; For Ar, higher than 6 ton ha-1 values were registered in the San Isidro and Alista sites. From the comparison among treatments, it is determined that the conditions of climate and soil exert variability on yield, identifying that Lc is not always the best option to get the best yield since Ar also reached higher values in other sites.

El aumento en la demanda de los alimentos ha obligado al hombre a la búsqueda y adopción de sistemas y técnicas de producción. En el presente trabajo se cuantificó el rendimiento en el cultivo de maíz en cuatro sistemas de labranza: labranza de conservación (Lc), labranza cero sin mantillo (Lo), labranza superficial con rastra (Rm) y labranza con arado de discos (Ar); considerando factores como densidad de plantas, mazorcas por planta, y granos por mazorca. El diseño experimental utilizado fue parcelas divididas con dos factores y dos repeticiones por localidad; el factor B representado por la parcela chica bajo los cuatro tratamientos; como parcela dividida en el factor A, representada por la parcela grande aplicando subsoleo y sin subsoleo. La ubicación del estudio fue en las parcelas localidades: La Tinaja, La Croix, San Isidro y Alista; la semilla empleada fue criolla de la zona, empleándose 20 kg ha-1, la fertilización empleada fue la fórmula 100 - 60 - 00 depositándose a la siembra todo el fósforo, el restante distribuido a la primera y segunda escarda. Los resultados obtenidos manifiestan que el rendimiento del maíz fue menor en labranza cero sin mantillo, los mejores resultados fueron para Lc con 8 ton ha-1 las comunidades de la Tinaja y la Croix; para Ar se registraron valores superiores a 6 ton ha-1 en los sitios de San Isidro y Alista. De la comparación entre tratamientos se determina que las condiciones de clima y suelo ejercen variabilidad sobre el rendimiento, identificando que la Lc no siempre resulta la mejor opción para obtener los mejores rendimientos ya que Ar también alcanzó valores superiores en otros sitios.

El tema de esta investigación es la memoria y sus transformaciones, a partir del diálogo entre psicoanálisis y neurociencias representadas por las obras de S. Freud y E. Kandel, respectivamente. El objetivo es investigar cuáles son las convergencias entre las teorizaciones de estos autores sobre las transformaciones de la memoria y, a partir de esto, esbozar posibles articulaciones sobre algunos procesos psicológicos y neurológicos que actúan en tales transformaciones. Para ello, se abordan las nociones de Freud sobre las re-transcripciones mnémicas, los recuerdos encubridores y el Nachträglichkeit (aprèscoup) y también los mecanismos de consolidación y reconsolidación de la memoria a largo plazo descritos por Kandel. La principal convergencia es el hecho de que la memoria es susceptible a (re)construcciones retroactivamente.

The topic of this investigation is the memory and its transformations, exemplified by the dialogue between psychoanalysis and the neurosciences, represented by the works of S. Freud and E. Kandel, respectively. The goal is to investigate the points of convergence between the theorizations of these two authors about changes in memory and, from that, to outlines the possible connections, regarding some psychological and neurological processes that act in such transformations. For that, Freud's notions about mnemic retranscriptions, concealing memories and Nachträglichkeit (après-coup) and also the consolidation and reconsolidation mechanisms of long-term memory described by Kandel are addressed. The main convergence identified in the publications of these authors is the fact that the memory is susceptible to (re) constructions retroactively.

O tema desta pesquisa é a memória e suastransformações, a partir da interlocução entre a psicanálise e as neurociências, representadas pelas obras de S. Freud e de E. Kandel, respectivamente. Seu objetivo é investigar quaissão as convergências entre as teorizações desses dois autores acerca das transformações da memória e, a partir disso, delinear possíveis articulações, acerca de alguns processos psíquicos e neurológicos que atuam em tais transformações. Para isso, são abordadas as noções de Freud sobre as retranscrições mnêmicas, as lembranças encobridoras e o Nachträglichkeit (aprèscoup) e também os mecanismos de consolidação e reconsolidação da memória de longo prazo descritos por Kandel. A principal convergência é o fato de que a memória é suscetível a (re) construções retroativamente.

A região do Cerrado representa uma das maiores áreas cultivada do mundo. Os diferentes usos do solo empregados nesta região podem modificar efetivamente as quantidades de matéria orgânica e alterar a ciclagem dos nutrientes no solo. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o efeito de diferentes sistemas de manejo nas relações entre o carbono total e os atributos químicos de um Latossolo Vermelho distrófico no Cerrado na região de Rio Verde, Estado de Goiás. As áreas estudadas foram cerradão, pastagem de baixa produtividade, plantio convencional de soja e plantio direto de soja com milho em sucessão. Os valores mais baixos no pH, cátions trocáveis, P-disponível e enxofre foram observados no Cerradão, contudo foram encontrados os maiores teores de C-total, que apresentaram correlação elevada com os teores de H+AL e a CTC potencial. Nas demais áreas, foram encontradas concentrações mais elevadas de cátions trocáveis, P-disponível e enxofre. Nas áreas onde não ocorreu o revolvimento do solo e a aplicação do corretivo e dos fertilizantes foi superficial, a estratificação dos teores de C-total promoveu a retenção dos elementos mais próximos à superfície, o que proporcionou correlações significativas com os atributos químicos do solo.

The Brazilian savanna region (Cerrado) is one of the largest cultivated areas of the world. The different land uses in the region can effectively change the quantities of soil organic matter and the cycling of nutrients. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of different land use management systems on the relationship between soil organic carbon and the soil chemical attributes of a Red Latosol (Oxisol) under Cerrado in Rio Verde (Goiás state). The treatments studied were native vegetation (cerradão), low-productivity pasture, conventional tillage with soybean, and no-tillage with soybean and maize. The smallest values for pH, available P, K, Ca and Mg were observed for the Cerradão treatment, even if the relatively high C levels increased the potential soil cation exchange capacity. The pasture, conventional tillage and no-tillage treatments showed higher K, Ca, Mg, available P, and S concentrations in the soil. In the areas where soil tillage did not take place and lime and fertilizers were applied superficially, the stratification of the soil organic carbon provides the retention of the elements near to the surface, with significance correlations with the soil chemicals attributes.

Embora associada à adoção de tecnologias de conservação do solo, a intensificação dos sistemas de produção agropecuária tem induzido a um dos principais problemas enfrentados pelos agricultores, a compactação do solo, seja em sistemas de plantio direto ou em sistemas de plantio convencional e pastagem. Este estudo foi realizado em Rio Verde, GO, em Latossolo Vermelho Amarelo, nos seguintes sistemas: plantio direto há 14 anos (SD14); plantio direto há oito anos (SD8); plantio direto há dois anos (SD2); preparo convencional (PC); pastagem (P) e floresta (F). A resistência à penetração do solo foi determinada utilizando-se o penetrômetro de Impacto Modelo IAA/Planalsucar - Stolf, a partir da superfície do solo até a profundidade de 0,40 m; determinaram-se, também, a densidade do solo e a granulometria. O plantio convencional apresentou menor resistência à penetração, na profundidade 0-0,10 m, enquanto o SD2 indicou maior resistência à penetração até 0,40 m de profundidade. Abaixo da profundidade de 0,15 m não houve diferença significativa entre os tratamentos PC, SD8, SD14. Os dois primeiros anos de adoção do sistema de plantio direto são críticos quanto à resistência a penetração nas camadas superficiais do solo.

The intensification of agricultural production systems has caused soil compaction even when soil conservation technologies are adopted. Soil compaction is one of the main problems for farmers, both in no-tillage and in conventional-tillage systems, as well as in pasture. This study was conducted in Rio Verde, (State of Goias), on Red-Yellow Latosol under the following systems: no-tillage for 14 years (SD14); no-tillage for 8 years (SD8); no-tillage for 2 years (SD2); conventional tillage (CT); pasture (P) and forest (F). The soil resistance to penetration was measured by the impact penetrometer Model IAA/Planalsucar - Stolf, from soil surface to the soil depth of 0.40 m. Soil bulk density and granulometry were also determined. Conventional tillage had lower resistance to penetration at the 0-0.10 m depth, whereas SD2 had more resistance up to 0.40 m in depth. There were no significant differences below 0.15 m in depth among treatments CT, SD8, and SD14. The first two years under the no-tillage system are critical, with regard to the resistance to penetration in to the soil surface layers.

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o efeito das palhadas de milho, milheto e soja na capacidade de interceptação e de armazenamento de água, velocidade de dessecamento, porcentagem de cobertura do solo, interceptação da radiação solar e escoamento superficial, assim como incorporar estes efeitos em um modelo de crescimento de plantas. As palhadas de milheto e de milho apresentaram capacidade maior de armazenar água do que a de soja: 3,26, 3,24 e 2,62 g de água por grama de palhada, respectivamente. A quantidade de água perdida pelos resíduos foi proporcional à evapotranspiração potencial. As taxas de cobertura foram equivalentes nos três tipos de material. Os três tipos de palhada foram similares na interceptação das radiações fotossinteticamente ativa e infravermelha. Os resíduos do milheto foram eficientes no controle do escoamento superficial: do total de 843,5 mm de água precipitada, apenas 45,5 mm foram perdidos pelo escoamento superficial no sistema de plantio direto enquanto no convencional as perdas de água foram de 222,5 mm. Os modelos linear e exponencial expressam de forma significativa a maior parte das relações estudadas.

The objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of crop residue mulches from maize, millet and soybean on water storage capacity, water evaporation, soil cover, solar radiation interception and surface water run-off as well as to incorporate these effects in a crop growth model. The mulch of millet and maize presented higher capacity for water storage than soybean mulch: 3.26, 3.24 and 2.62 g of water per gram of dry matter, respectively. Water losses from wet mulches were related to the potential evapotranspiration. The soil cover levels were similar among the three types of material. The three types of mulch intercepted similar quantities of photosynthetically active radiation and infrared radiation. The mulch of maize straw was slightly more efficient in intercepting radiation than that from millet or soybean. Mulching with millet residues was efficient in the control of surface water run-off: only 45.5 mm of water (out of 843.5 mm rainfall) was lost through runoff under the no-till system with millet as cover crop, whereas 222.5 mm of water was lost in the conventional system with tillage. Most of the relations derived in this work could be described by exponential models.
