Resumen Reunimos, en esta selección, diferentes producciones que hablan de La Habana con una gramática singular, un atlas- textura que integra imágenes, saberes y lenguas. Desde la fotografía, los documentales, la música, el cine, la performance o el teatro organizamos un montaje de imágenes que colaboraran en la tarea de desarchivación y reinvención de una ciudad. Por ese motivo, imaginamos no solo un espacio para hablar “de” literatura sino un archivo de las materialidades múltiples. En ellas, el lector encontrará un conjunto de seis materiales artísticos -cuidadosamente escogidos para esta muestra- que traspasan los límites genéricos de la poesía (Nara Mansur), la narrativa (Martha Luisa Hernández), las artes plásticas y el muralismo (Yulier P), la fotografía (Kaloian Santos), el performance escénico, el teatro o la conservación de edificaciones derruidas (Habitar el gesto y Documental urbano de la fiebre…), para convertirse en modos de intervenir, deshabitar y renombrar La Habana. El conjunto de estos materiales convoca a una reconexión con la materialidad heterogénea, compleja, sinuosa de la ciudad, permite atravesar las capas solidificadas del archivo visual para interrogar el modo en que la ciudad se hace cuerpo y los cuerpos se tocan, caminan, desechan, horadan, inscriben. Las texturas configuran, de este modo, el montaje de la ciudad, una hechura que es singular-comunitaria, que es forma-factura no exclusivamente humana, antes bien se hace de modo heterogéneo (no antropocentrado) con los haceres, sonidos y saberes del mar, del viento, de los árboles, de los entierros y de las columnas manufacturadas.

Abstract In this selection, we bring together different productions that speak of Havana with a singular grammar, an atlas-texture that integrates images, knowledge, and languages. From photography, documentaries, music, cinema, performance or theater, we organize a montage of images that will collaborate to the task of unarchiving and reinventing a city. Therefore, we envision not only a space to talk "about" literature, but also an archive of multiple materialities. Within them, readers will discover a collection of six artistic materials - carefully chosen for this exhibition - that go beyond the generic boundaries of poetry (Nara Mansur), narrative (Martha Luisa Hernández), plastic arts and muralism (Yulier P), photography (Kaloian Santos), scenic performance, theater, or the preservation of demolished buildings (Habitar el gesto and Documental urbano de la fiebre) transforming into methods of intervening, emptying, and renaming Havana. The combination of these materials calls for a reconnection with the heterogeneous, complex, and sinuous materiality of the city, enabling exploration through the solidified layers of the visual archive to question how the city becomes a body and bodies interact - walking, discarding, piercing, inscribing. In this way, the textures shape the city's assembly, a craftsmanship that is both unique and communal, that is not exclusively based on human form-factor, but rather executed in a heterogeneous way (non-anthropocentric) utilizing the actions, sounds and knowledge of the sea, wind, trees, burials, and manufactured columns.

Resumen El pasto Panicum maximum cv. BRS Tamani es una planta forrajera híbrida de alta calidad, de tamaño pequeño y con intensa actividad de macollaje. Este estudio se llevó a cabo para examinar el potencial del pasto Panicum maximum cv. BRS Tamani en diferentes edades de rebrote (49, 63, 77 y 91 días) para la producción de heno, en el período lluvioso. El experimento se realizó en la Escuela Agrícola de la Universidad Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul-Brasil, entre octubre de 2015 y abril de 2016. Los tratamientos correspondieron a cuatro edades de rebrote, con cuatro repeticiones, distribuidas en parcelas de 9 m2. Las edades de rebrote influyeron en las características morfogenéticas del pasto, excepto por la senescencia de la hoja y la longitud final de la hoja. Los rendimientos de materia verde (9.6-17.6 t ha-1) y seca (2.6-5.9 t ha-1), el rendimiento de heno (3.4-6.9 t ha-1) y las proporciones de tallo (91.6-455.9 g kg-1) y material senescente (34.8-98.4 g kg-1) aumentaron con las edades de rebrote, mientras que la proporción de hojas (837.7-402.1 g kg-1) y la relación hoja:tallo (15.9-0.9) disminuyeron (P<0.05). Los contenidos de materia seca (881.7-852.8 g kg-1) y de proteína (81.2-47.6 g kg-1) del heno disminuyeron con las mayores edades de rebrote; sin embargo, los contenidos de fibra detergente neutro (746.5-759.2 g kg-1), fibra detergente ácido (519.8-567.7 g kg-1) y lignina (74.3-86.4 g kg-1) aumentaron a medida que lo hicieron las edades de rebrote. La digestibilidad de los nutrientes disminuyó con las edades de rebrote (P<0.05). Panicum maximum cv. BRS Tamani tiene el potencial de producir heno ha-1, mejor valor nutritivo y una alta proporción de hojas en el intervalo de rebrote de 49 a 63 días.

Abstract The grass Panicum maximum cv. BRS Tamani is a hybrid high-quality, small-sized forage plant with intense tillering activity. This study was carried out to examine the potential of the grass Panicum maximum cv. BRS Tamani at different regrowth ages (49, 63, 77, and 91 d) for hay production, in the rainy period. The experiment was conducted at the Farm School of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul-Brazil, between October 2015 and April 2016. The treatments corresponded to four regrowth ages, with four replicates, distributed into 9 m2 plots. Regrowth ages influenced the morphogenetic characteristics of the grass, except for leaf senescence and final leaf length. Green (9.6-17.6 t ha-1) and dry-matter (2.6-5.9 t ha-1) yields, hay yield (3.4-6.9 t ha-1), and proportions of stem (91.6-455.9 g kg-1) and senescent material (34.8-98.4 g kg-1) increased with the regrowth ages, while the proportion of leaves (837.7-402.1 g kg-1) and the leaf: stem ratio (15.9-0.9) decreased (P<0.05). The dry matter (881.7-852.8 g kg-1) and protein contents (81.2-47.6 g kg-1) of the hay decreased with the higher regrowth ages; however, the neutral detergent fibre (746.5-759.2 g kg-1) acid detergent fibre (519.8-567.7 g kg-1) and lignin (74.3-86.4 g kg-1) contents rose as the regrowth ages did. Nutrient digestibility decreased with the regrowth ages (P<0.05). Panicum maximum cv. BRS Tamani has the potential to produce of hay ha-1, better nutritive value and a high proportion of leaves in the regrowth interval of 49 to 63 d.

Abstract Alternative food networks are expanding across the world, such as Solidarity Purchasing groups, Farmers' Markets and, particularly, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). In a traditional CSA model, the consumers subscribe to a CSA quota and agree to pay an amount to finance agricultural production, and, on the other hand, farmers deliver products such as vegetable and fruits to consumers. The production risks are transferred from producers to the community members. The aim of this study was to characterize the CSA in Federal District, Brazil, and evaluate the impacts of these new production and marketing arrangements under the farmers and co-farmers point of view. Data collection was carried out through interviews in a sample with 14 CSA and 34 co-farmers with the support of a semi-structured script, composed of six dimensions: Organizational Structure; Culture of Work Organization; Communication; Socio-Environment; Logistics; and Economics. The most relevant results were: for farmers – security, planning, stability, and financial independence of the activity; adoption of organic farming methods; increase in product quality and diversity; improvement in quality of life; recognition and appreciation of rural work; training and adoption of preservationist practices. For co-farmers – increasing social and environmental awareness; increased health care; knowledge of new agricultural products and new uses; reduction of waste; empathy and rationality. For society, this new arrangement of food production and distribution is positive in several aspects, mainly due to the increase in environmental awareness, the valorization of rural activity and greater financial autonomy for farmers, which can help in poverty reduction.

Resumen Las redes alternativas de alimentos se están expandiendo en todo el mundo, en forma de grupos solidarios de compras, mercados de agricultores y, en particular, la Agricultura Sostenida por la Comunidad (ASC). En una ASC tradicional, los consumidores anticipan una cantidad fija de dinero para financiar la producción agrícola y, a cambio de estos anticipos, los agricultores van enviando productos, como verduras, frutas, entre otros, a los consumidores. Los riesgos de producción se transfieren de los productores a los miembros de la comunidad. El objetivo de este estudio fue caracterizar las ASC en el Distrito Federal, Brasil, y evaluar los impactos de estos nuevos arreglos de producción y comercialización desde el punto de vista de los agricultores y coagricultores. La recolección de datos se llevó a cabo a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas de muestra con 14 ASCy 34 coagricultores y fue compuesta porseis dimensiones: Estructura Organizacional; Cultura de Organización del Trabajo; Comunicación; Socioambiental; Logística; y Economia. Los resultados más relevantes fueron: para los agricultores: seguridad, planificación, estabilidad e independencia financiera de la actividad; adopción de métodos de agricultura orgánica; aumento de la calidad y diversidad de los productos; mejora de la calidad de vida; reconocimiento y valoración del trabajo rural; formación y adopción de prácticas conservacionistas. Para los coagricultores: mayor conciencia socioambiental; preocupación por la salud; conocimiento de nuevos productos agrícolas y nuevos usos; reducción de desperdícios; empatia y racionalidad. Para la sociedad, este nuevo ordenamiento de producción y distribución de alimentos es positivo en varios aspectos, principalmente por el aumento de la conciencia ambiental, la reducción de resíduos, la valorización de la actividad rural y una mayor autonomia financiera de los agricultores, lo que puede ayudar a reducción de la pobreza.

Resumo Expandem-se pelo mundo as redes alternativas de alimentos, como grupos solidários de compras, mercados de agricultores e, particularmente, as Comunidades que Sustentam a Agricultura (CSA). Em uma CSA tradicional, os consumidores aderem a uma cota da CSA e concordam em pagar uma quantia que financie a produção agrícola e, em contrapartida, os agricultores entregam produtos, como hortaliças, frutas, entre outros, aos consumidores. Os riscos de produção são transferidos dos produtores para os membros da comunidade. O objetivo deste estudo foi caracterizar as CSAs no Distrito Federal, Brasil, e avaliar os impactos desses novos arranjos de produção e comercialização sob o ponto de vista dos agricultores e coagricultores. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de entrevistas, em amostra com 14 CSAs e 34 coagricultores, a partir de roteiro semiestruturado, composto por seis dimensões: Estrutura Organizacional; Cultura de Organização do Trabalho; Comunicação; Socioambiental; Logística; e Economia. Os resultados mais relevantes foram: para os agricultores – segurança, planejamento, estabilidade e independência financeira da atividade; adoção de métodos de agricultura orgânica; aumento da qualidade e diversidade do produto; melhoria na qualidade de vida; reconhecimento e valorização do trabalho rural; treinamento e adoção de práticas preservacionistas. Para os coagricultores – aumento da consciência socioambiental; preocupação com a saúde; conhecimento de novos produtos agrícolas e novos usos; redução de resíduos; empatia e racionalidade. Para a sociedade, esse novo arranjo de produção e distribuição de alimentos é positivo em diversos aspectos, principalmente devido ao aumento da conscientização ambiental, à diminuição do desperdício, à valorização da atividade rural e a uma maior autonomia financeira dos agricultores, o que pode auxiliar na redução da pobreza no campo.

ABSTRACT The present study evaluated the effect of two thermal concentration systems on bioactive compounds, the sugar content of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) pulp, and the carotenoid bioaccessibility of pulp concentrate. The closed processing system ensured a higher retention of phenolic and carotenoid compounds. The bioaccessibility of lycopene in tomato pulp concentrate was relatively low (0.54 %) but higher than in raw tomato pulp (0.15 %), corroborating other results that have reported the low availability of the compound in these matrices. Carotenoid extraction from tomato residue was also evaluated through both conventional (CE) and ultrasound (UAE) extractions together with the stability of extracts over 30 days. UAE promoted a superior release of lycopene and lutein than conventional extraction. Lycopene showed less stability with a reduction of 18 % in 30 days.

RESUMO: O pequi (Caryocar spp.) é um fruto nativo do cerrado brasileiro e Caryocar brasiliense Camb. é uma das espécies mais prevalentes neste bioma. O consumo da polpa de pequi tem sido associado a benefícios à saúde, como efeitos antioxidantes, anti-inflamatórios, hipolipidêmicos, hepatoprotetores e anticarcinogênicos. Esses benefícios têm sido atribuídos à sua alta densidade em nutrientes e compostos bioativos. No entanto, há evidências de considerável variação no perfil nutricional entre polpas de pequi de diferentes espécies, e entre polpas da mesma espécie, mas de diferentes áreas do cerrado. Além disso, não há informações na literatura sobre o perfil de polifenóis da polpa de C. brasiliense, tampouco sobre a influência da área nativa do fruto na composição desses fitoquímicos. Assim, este estudo analisou a composição de nutrientes e identificou os compostos fenólicos na polpa de frutos de C. brasiliense nativos de quatro diferentes áreas do Cerrado. Houve notável variação nos teores de energia (176,3-387,2 kcal/100 g) e lipídios (13,0-37,5 g/100 g) entre as amostras. Em contrapartida, não foi encontrada diferença na composição em polifenóis, uma vez que ácido gálico, ácido protocatecuico, catequina, epicatequina, ácido p-cumárico e ácido elágico foram identificados em todas as polpas de pequi analisadas. A polpa de C. brasiliense tem potencial para ser utilizada como ingrediente funcional rico em compostos bioativos, porém com diferentes teores de energia e lipídios de acordo com a área nativa do fruto para atender a distintas alegações de saúde do produto.

ABSTRACT: Pequi (Caryocar spp.) is a fruit native to the Brazilian Savannah (Cerrado), and Caryocar brasilienseCamb. is one of the most prevalent species in this biome. The consumption of the pequi pulp has been associated with health benefits, such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, hypolipidemic, hepatoprotective, and anticarcinogenic effects. These benefits have been attributed to its high density in nutrients and bioactive compounds. However, there is evidence about considerable variation in the nutritional profile among pequi pulps of different species, and among pulps of the same species, but from different areas of the Cerrado. In addition, there is no information in literature regarding the polyphenols profile of C. brasiliense pulp, neither about the influence of the native area of the fruit on the composition of these phytochemicals. So, this study analyzed the nutrient composition and identified the phenolic compounds in the pulp of C. brasiliense fruits native to four different areas of the Cerrado. There was a remarkable variation in the contents of energy (176.3-387.2 kcal/100 g) and lipids (13.0-37.5 g/100 g) among samples. In contrast, no difference was observed in the polyphenols composition, since gallic acid, protocatechuic acid, catechin, epicatechin, p-coumaric acid, and ellagic acid were identified in all pequi pulps. C. brasiliense pulp shows potential to be used as a functional ingredient rich in bioactive compounds, but with different contents of energy and lipids according to the fruit’s native area to attempt distinct health allegations of the product.

Abstract Objective To describe the conceptual exercise of reflecting on the possibilities and particularities of the participation of Lusophone schools of nursing in the Nursing Knowledge Network. Method An analysis was conducted using information obtained from an environmental scan of institutional resources following the conceptual framework by Prug and Prusak on the knowledge networks. The learnings reported in the analysis are based on the collected information and reflections on the positive and negative aspects of participation, while proposing possible solutions for an action plan. Results There is interest in the internationalization of research and collaborative work both as institutional actions to support nursing research and potential benefits due to participation in the Network. The collaborative work has potential to increase the impact of research, expedite dissemination and use of results both in education and in clinical practice, broadening the horizons of Lusophone nursing science. Conclusion and Implications for practice Participation of these institutions in the Network offers numerous possibilities to demonstrate the originality, creativity and expertise of their teaching and research practice, encouraging the sharing of ideas and practices. The practice of scientific production in all its scenarios by educators and students can be improved through refined ways of thinking, creating, producing, and disseminating knowledge.

Resumen Objetivo Describir el ejercicio conceptual de reflexión de las posibilidades y particularidades de la participación de facultades de Enfermería de lengua portuguesa en la Red de Conocimientos de Enfermería. Método Análisis de datos obtenidos de un sondeo de recursos institucionales bajo el marco conceptual de Prug y Prusak sobre la red de conocimiento. El planteamiento de aspectos positivos y negativos del aprendizaje abarcó soluciones para elaborar un plan de acción. Resultados En las acciones institucionales de apoyo a la investigación en Enfermería y los beneficios aspirados con la participación en la Red, existe un interés por la internacionalización de la investigación y el trabajo colaborativo –que tiene como objetivo aumentar el impacto de la investigación, estimular la divulgación y el aprovechamiento de los resultados en la enseñanza y la clínica, con la ampliación de los horizontes de la Enfermería de instituciones de habla portuguesa. Conclusión e Implicaciones en la práctica La Red ofrece numerosas posibilidades para las instituciones participantes respecto a la demostración de originalidad, creatividad y experiencia en la práctica docente y de investigación, fomentando el intercambio de ideas y prácticas. La práctica de la producción científica por profesores y estudiantes puede verse mejorada por la reflexión, creación, producción y difusión de conocimientos.

Resumo Objetivo Descrever o exercício conceitual de reflexão sobre as possibilidades e particularidades da participação das Escolas de Enfermagem e Faculdades de Enfermagem lusófonas na Rede de Conhecimentos em Enfermagem. Método Análise das informações obtidas em um levantamento de recursos institucionais de acordo com o marco conceitual proposto por Prug e Prusak sobre rede de conhecimentos. A ponderação de aspectos positivos e negativos - analisando o aprendizado com as informações - levou em consideração as possíveis soluções para um plano de ação. Resultados Tanto nas ações institucionais para suportar a pesquisa em Enfermagem como nos benefícios almejados com a participação na Rede existe o interesse na internacionalização da pesquisa e no trabalho colaborativo. Com a ampliação dos horizontes da ciência da Enfermagem lusófona, este trabalho visa aumentar o impacto da pesquisa e agilizar a divulgação e a utilização dos resultados, tanto na educação como na clínica. Conclusão e Implicações para a prática A participação das referidas instituições oferece inúmeras possibilidades de demonstrar originalidade, criatividade e perícia de sua prática docente e de pesquisa, favorecendo o compartilhamento de ideias e práticas. A prática de produção científica, por docentes e discentes, pode ser aprimorada pelo refinamento de modos de pensar, criar, produzir e disseminar.

Poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) is considered one of the most versatile polymers due to its interaction with different additives. On the other hand, binary sulfides have wide applications as zinc sulfide (ZnS), one of the first discovered semiconductors. This study aims to synthesize a nanocomposite material containing nano ZnS in the PVC matrix with a surfactant as a compatibilizer agent to evaluate its optical and electrical properties when exposed to gamma radiation. Our results showed that adding ZnS at 0.5 wt% concentration in the PVC matrix promoted the system from insulating to the semiconductor material. Therefore, gamma radiation has played an important role in nanocomposites' optical and electrical properties with changes in electrical and electrical conductivity, constant dielectric parts, refraction index, optical band gap, and Urbach energy. Thus, our study points to the development of nanocomposite material, semiconductors, and features useful for applications in flexible electronics or optical-electronic devices.

Abstract Objective: The nutritional status resultant from dietary habits along with socioeconomic conditions and the school environment are directly related to the individual's health condition not only in their childhood but also throughout adulthood. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of socioeconomic factors on the anthropometric profile and to analyze a probable association between this profile and biochemical markers in children attending public daycare centers. Methods: It is a transversal study developed in a probability sample of clusters of children from 6 months to 5 years old. Anthropometric and socioeconomic data were gathered at the CMEIs, questionnaires on the nutritional status were applied and blood was collected at the Family Health Units (USFs). Results: Female children are three times more likely to be underweight; in families with five members, it is 1/3 more likely that children of higher-educated parents are overweight. Among the results of the biochemical tests, hypervitaminosis A was a relevant aspect, positively correlating with copper (p=0.005) and zinc (p=0.008). Conclusion: Therefore, since the influence of the family is an important predictor of overweight and its future outcomes related to nutritional deficiencies and inadequate dietary intake, educational interventions are vital as a way to pave the path to prevention.

RESUMO Objetivos: descrever o clima organizacional percebido pelos enfermeiros de um hospital vinculado à Empresa Brasileira de Serviços Hospitalares e os motivos de intenção de rotatividade. Métodos: mistos, do tipo triangulação concomitante. Dados qualitativos analisados segundo o Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo; e dados quantitativos, análise descritiva, correlação de Pearson e regressão linear múltipla. A coleta de dados ocorreu mediante entrevista semiestruturada com 116 enfermeiros. Resultados: os discursos foram apresentados em cinco categorias: Apoio da chefia e organização; Recompensa; Conforto físico; Controle/pressão; e Coesão entre os colegas. Evidenciou-se que, com aumento do fator Recompensa, há uma diminuição da intenção de rotatividade; e, com a diminuição do Conforto físico, há um aumento da intenção de rotatividade. Conclusões: o clima organizacional percebido pelos enfermeiros encontra-se dicotomizado, e a intenção de rotatividade foi justificada, principalmente, por motivos pessoais. Acredita-se que isso decorra dos recentes processos de reorganização institucional e contratação de pessoal vivenciados.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to describe the organizational climate perceived by nurses of a hospital linked to the Brazilian Hospital Services Company and the reasons for the turnover intention. Methods: mixed, concomitant triangulation type. Qualitative data were analyzed according to the discourse of the collective subject, in addition to quantitative data analysis, descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. Data collection was carried through a semi-structured interview with 116 nurses. Results: the study presented the speeches in five categories: Leadership and organization support; Reward; Physical comfort; Control/pressure; and Cohesion among colleagues. It showed that, with increased Reward factor, there is a decrease in turnover intention; and, with decreased Physical comfort, there is an increase in turnover intention. Conclusions: there is a dichotomy in the organizational climate perceived by nurses, and personal reasons mainly justify the turnover intention. The reason could be the current processes of institutional reorganization and the hiring of experienced staff.

RESUMEN Objetivos: describir el clima organizacional percibido por enfermeros de un hospital vinculado a la Empresa Brasileña de Servicios Hospitalarios y los motivos de intención de reemplazo. Métodos: mixtos, del tipo triangulación concomitante. Datos cualitativos analizados según el Discurso del Sujeto Colectivo; y datos cuantitativos, análisis descriptivo, correlación de Pearson y regresión lineal múltiple. Recolecta de datos ocurrió mediante entrevista semiestructurada con 116 enfermeros. Resultados: discursos presentados en cinco categorías: Apoyo de la jefatura y organización; Recompensa; Conforto físico; Control/presión; y Cohesión entre los colegas. Evidenciado que, con aumento del factor Recompensa, hay una disminución de la intención de reemplazo; y, con la disminución del Conforto físico, hay un aumento de la intención de reemplazo. Conclusiones: el clima organizacional percibido por enfermeros está dicótomo, y la intención de reemplazo fue justificada, principalmente, por motivos personales. Cree que eso suceda de los recientes procesos de reorganización institucional y contratación de personal experimentados.

Aim To evaluate the impact of a dual-cured adhesive system on the in situ degree of conversion (DC), bond strength (BS) and failure mode (FM) of adhesive interfaces in dentin cavities restored with a bulk-fill resin composite. Methods 4-mm-deep dentin cavities with a 3.1 C-factor were created in 68 bovine incisors (n = 17 per group). The light-cured (Scotchbond™ Universal) or the dual-cured (Adper™ Scotchbond™ Multi-purpose Plus) adhesive system was applied to the cavities, which were then restored with a bulk-fill resin composite (Filtek™ Bulk Fill). In situ DC analysis was performed by means of micro Raman spectroscopy at the top and bottom interfaces. Push-out BS was measured in a universal testing machine after 24-h or 6-month water storage. FM was determined with a stereomicroscope. Data of in situ DC and BS were analyzed by two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey test (p<0.05), while the FM was analyzed descriptively. Results The groups that received the dual-cured adhesive system showed statistically higher in situ DC and BS than those that received the light-cured adhesive system. Cohesive failure mode was the most frequent in all conditions. Conclusion In situ DC and BS were influenced by the curing strategies of the adhesive systems with better performance of the dual-cured material.

RESUMO Objetivo: Identificar os fatores associados às competências cognitivas, emocionais, psicomotoras e relacionais do cuidador informal na assistência domiciliar. Métodos: Estudo transversal, realizado com amostra de 216 cuidadores informais, residentes em município do estado do Paraná. A coleta de dados ocorreu entre fevereiro e julho de 2019, com instrumento desenvolvido e validado para avaliação das competências do cuidador informal. Utilizou-se análise descritiva e inferencial para tratamento das variáveis. Resultados: Os fatores associados a maior competência do cuidador informal foram sexo feminino, ter capacitação e mais de cinco anos em assistência domiciliar. A menor competência foi observada nos cuidadores que apresentavam problema de saúde e pertenciam aos menores extratos do poder de compra familiar. Os participantes tiveram menores índices na competência psicomotora e obtiveram melhores resultados na cognitiva. Conclusão: Identificou-se que mulheres com experiência no cuidado tiveram maiores níveis de competência para realizar uma assistência de qualidade no domicílio.

ABSTRACT Objective: To identify factors associated with cognitive, emotional, psychomotor, and relational skills of informal caregivers in home care. Methods: A cross-sectional study carried out with a sample of 216 informal caregivers residing in a municipality in the state of Paraná. Data collection took place between February and July 2019, with an instrument developed and validated to assess the skills of informal caregivers. Descriptive and inferential analyses were used. Results: The factors associated with a greater competence of informal caregivers were being female, having training in the field, and having more than five years home care experience. The lowest competence was observed in caregivers who had health problems and belonged to the lowest strata of family purchasing power. Participants had lower scores in psychomotor competence and had better results in cognitive competence. Conclusion: It was found that women with experience in care had higher levels of competence to provide quality care at home assistance services.

RESUMEN Objetivo: Identificar factores asociados a competencias cognitivas, emocionales, psicomotrices y relacionales del cuidador informal en la atención domiciliaria. Métodos: Estudio transversal, realizado con 216 cuidadores informales, residentes en municipio del estado de Paraná. Recolecta de datos ocurrió entre febrero y julio de 2019, con instrumento desarrollado y validado para evaluación de las competencias del cuidador informal. Utilizado análisis descriptivo e inferencial para tratamiento de las variables. Resultados: Los factores asociados a mayor competencia del cuidador informal fueron sexo femenino, tener capacitación y más de cinco años en atención domiciliaria. La menor competencia fue observada en cuidadores que presentaban problema de salud y pertenecían a menores extractos del poder de compra familiar. Los participantes tuvieron menores índices en la competencia psicomotora y obtuvieron mejores resultados en la cognitiva. Conclusión: Identificado que mujeres con experiencia en el cuidado tuvieron mayores niveles de competencia para realizar una atención domiciliaria de salud de calidad.

Abstract This study aims to evaluate the in silico genomic characteristics of Streptococcus infantarius subsp. infantarius, isolated from Coalho cheese from Paraíba, Brazil, with a view to application in lactic fermentations. rRNA sequences from the 16S ribosomal region were used as input to GenBank, in the search for patterns that could reveal a non-pathogenic behavior of S. infantarius subsp. infantarius, comparing mobile genetic elements, antibiotic resistance genes, pan-genome analysis and multi-genome alignment among related species. S. infantarius subsp. infantarius CJ18 was the only complete genome reported by BLAST/NCBI with high similarity and after comparative genetics with complete genomes of Streptococcus agalactiae (SAG153, NJ1606) and Streptococcus thermophilus (ST106, CS18, IDCC2201, APC151) revealed that CJ18 showed a low number of transposases and integrases, infection by phage bacteria of the Streptococcus genus, absence of antibiotic resistance genes and presence of bacteriocin, folate and riboflavin producing genes. The genome alignment revealed that the collinear blocks of S. thermophilus ST106 and S. agalactiae SAG153 have inverted blocks when compared to the CJ18 genome due to gene positioning, insertions and deletions. Therefore, the strains of S. infantarius subsp. infantarius isolated from Coalho cheese from Paraíba showed genomic similarity with CJ18 and the mobility of genes analyzed in silico showed absence of pathogenicity throughout the genome of CJ18, indicating the potential of these strains for the dairy industry.

Abstract The present study investigated by palynological and chemical analysis (Flame Atomic Absortion Spectrometry) about the botanical origin and the heavy metals content (arsenic, cadmium, chromium, lead and mercury) of monthly honey samples of Apis mellifera L. over two years. The pollen types Apiaceae, Mimosa caesalpiniifolia, M. tenuiflora and Myrcia indicated the main floristic sources used by bees. M. tenuiflora was the most frequent of the pollen types, and because it predominates in different months in each year, which may indicate more than one species of the genus being foraged by the beehive. The climatic influence (rainfall and temperature) on the pollen diversity was investigated and was not statistically supported. The chemical analysis showed that the heavy metal content of the samples were below their respective limits of quantification, and, therefore, the samples can be considered safe for human consumption.
