RESUMO Objetivo: analisar o conceito de violência contra pessoa idosa e identificar seus respectivos antecedentes, atributos e consequentes. Métodos: análise de conceito, de acordo com a proposição de Walker e Avant. A busca pelo conceito foi mediada por uma revisão integrativa nas bases LILACS, PubMed, CINAHL, Web of Science e BDENF. Resultados: como antecedentes, destacam-se sexo feminino, membro da família, baixo apoio social e baixa renda ou condições socioeconômicas. Os atributos foram ameaças e/ou intimidações, uso intencional da força física, usar recursos sem sua autorização, atividade sexual indesejada, ofertar baixa quantidade de nutrientes insuficientes ao idoso e não atendimento as necessidades afetivas/emocionais do idoso. Os consequentes foram transtornos psicológicos, dependência do agressor, ambiente de insegurança e danos/perda dos direitos humanos ou a dignidade humana. Considerações finais: o fenômeno em discussão é amplo e multifacetado, sugerindo ampliação de estudos relacionados à temática a fim de explorá-la minunciosamente. La búsqueda del concepto estuvo mediada por una revisión integradora en las bases de datos LILACS, PubMed, CINAHL, Web of Science y BDENF. Resultados: como antecedentes, se destacan el género femenino, familiar, bajo apoyo social y bajos ingresos o condiciones socioeconómicas. Los atributos fueron amenazas y/o intimidación, uso intencional de la fuerza física, uso de recursos sin su autorización, actividad sexual no deseada, oferta insuficiente de nutrientes al anciano y no satisfacción de las necesidades afectivas/emocionales del anciano. Las consecuencias fueron trastornos psicológicos, dependencia del agresor, ambiente de inseguridad y daño/pérdida de los derechos humanos o de la dignidad humana. ABSTRACT Objective: to analyze the concept of elder abuse and identify its respective antecedents, attributes and consequents. Methods: this is a conceptual analysis according to Walker and Avant’s proposition. The search for the concept was mediated by an integrative review in the LILACS, PubMed, CINAHL, Web of Science and BDENF databases. Results: as antecedents, female, family member, low social support and low income or socioeconomic conditions stand out. Attributes were threats and/or intimidation, intentional use of physical force, using resources without authorization, unwanted sexual activity, offering low insufficient amount of nutrients for older adults and not meeting older adults’ affective/emotional needs. Consequents were psychological disorders, dependence on aggressors, environment of insecurity and damage/loss of human rights or human dignity. Final considerations: the phenomenon under discussion is broad and multifaceted, suggesting expansion of studies related to the theme in order to explore it in detail. ABSTRACT We aimed to evaluate the lactation curves, composition, and fatty acid profile of milk of lactating goats fed diets containing detoxified castor cake (DCC) by alkaline solutions during 150 days of lactation. Twenty-four Saanen and Anglo Nubian goats, approximately 17 months old (first lactation) and 43±2.97 kg body weight, were distributed in a completely randomized block design with eight replicates. Treatments consisted of three diets, one containing soybean meal (SM) and two others containing DCC, with calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)2] and sodium hydroxide (NaOH). The lactation curves showed greater persistence of lactation in Saanen goats. There were significant effects of diets on the profile of some fatty acids present in the milk. We observed that the NaOH DCC diet led to an increase in desirable fatty acid content. Both Ca(OH)2 and NaOH DCC diets led to decreased milk production during the lactation period; however, the NaOH DCC diet led to high productive efficiency. Furthermore, NaOH DCC did not negatively affect the desirable fatty acid content, unlike Ca(OH)2 DCC. Diets formulated with detoxified castor decrease the production of milk from goats during lactation phase. It should be emphasized that milk produced by goats fed DCC diets does not contain unwanted waste.

ABSTRACT The objective was to evaluate the intake, digestibility, nitrogen balance, and metabolic profile of lactating goats fed diets containing detoxified castor cake (DCC) by alkaline solutions during 150 days of lactation. Twenty-four Saanen and Anglo Nubian goats, approximately 17 months old (first lactation) and body weights of 43±2.97 kg, were distributed in a completely randomized block design with eight replicates. Treatments consisted of three diets, one containing soybean meal (SM) and two others containing DCC, with calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)2] and sodium hydroxide (NaOH). The diets significantly influenced the intake of dry matter (DM), crude protein (CP), ether extract (EE), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), and total digestible nutrients (TDN). We observed a higher dry matter intake (DMI) in goats fed SM, similar to that of goats fed Ca(OH)2 DCC. Intake of nutrients followed the same trend as DMI. There was no significant effect of diets on digestibility of DM, CP, EE, and NDF; however, we observed a significant effect of diets on the levels of nitrogen intake (NI) and urinary nitrogen (UN). The goats fed SM consumed a larger quantity of nitrogen, but all had the same nitrogen balance, indicating that goats fed DCC were more efficient. The diets did not influence renal and hepatic parameters. Inclusion of castor cake in the diet of goats in confinement is an attractive option, considering that goats fed DCC present lower feed conversion, and its use does not cause hepatic and renal alterations, suggesting that SM can be completely replaced.

Method: this is a documentary study with a quantitative approach. As a source of data collection, the reports deposited in the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Center for Nursing Studies and Research of the Brazilian Nursing Association between 2001 and 2015 were used, with subsequent redemption of the full version in the repository of the higher education institution of theses and dissertations. The data collection was carried out from data extraction in spreadsheets that were submitted to the descriptive analysis. Results: 70 theses and dissertations (0.95%) were selected from the total of 7,369 studies. The majority (70%) described how the sample groups were constructed. Only 4.3% did not report having collected and analyzed the data concomitantly. From the studies that described all the steps, 34.3% did not present the validation process of the theoretical model. The diagrams and memos were used, respectively, in 74.3% and 65.7% of the theses and dissertations analyzed. The most frequent theoretical reference was Symbolic Interactionism and the methodological perspective was the Straussian. It was evidenced that for the researchers, the interview was the main collection technique used in isolation and combined with other approaches. Conclusion: the diversity in the presentation and description of the method and results of the studies reveals that there is still need for improvement regarding the use of the method, considering the different aspects of the Grounded Theory.

Sólo el 4,3% no registró haber realizado la recolección y análisis de los datos de forma concomitante. De los estudios que describieron todas las etapas, el 34,3% no presentó el proceso de validación del modelo teórico. Los diagramas y los memorandos se utilizaron respectivamente en el 74,3% y el 65,7% de las tesis y disertaciones analizadas. El referencial teórico más frecuente fue el Interaccionismo Simbólico y la perspectiva metodológica fue la Straussiana. Se evidenció que para los investigadores, la entrevista fue la principal técnica de recolección utiliza de forma aislada y combinada con otros enfoques. Conclusión: la diversidad en la presentación y en la descripción del método y resultados de los estudios revela que todavía hay necesidades de perfeccionamiento en cuanto al uso del método, considerando las diferentes vertientes de la teoria fundamentada em los dados.
