Resumen El objetivo en este estudio fue determinar el contenido de nutrientes en plantas de Myrciaria dubia como respuesta a la aplicación de cinco dosis de K2O (0; 40; 80; 120 e 160 kg ha-1) aplicadas por fertirrigación. Se evaluaron los contenidos de materia seca de hoja (MSH), materia seca total (MST) y el contenido de nutrientes en las hojas. La MSH y la MST fueron mayores en plantas fertilizadas con la dosis de 160 kg ha-1 de K2O, con 52.44 g y 302.69 g, respectivamente. Los contenidos de N y K fueron de 22.15 y 9.48 g kg-1 en respuesta a la dosis de 160 kg ha-1 de K2O. Los contenidos medios de P, Ca y S fueron de 1.6, 17.89 y 1.61 g kg-1, respectivamente, y el contenido de Mg2+ disminuyó desde 5.62 hasta 2.74 g kg-1 en la dosis de 0 y 160 kg ha-1 de K2O, respectivamente. Los contenidos de B, Mn y Fe disminuyeron de 136.5 a 100.0, de 346.24 a 248, y de 142.06 a 97.35 mg kg-1 en la dosis de 0 y 160 kg ha-1 de K2O, respectivamente. Los contenidos medios de Cu y Zn fueron 3,81 y 40,54 mg kg- 1, respectivamente, en todas las dosis de K2O. El contenido de nutrientes determinado en las hojas de M. dubia fueron adecuados para el desarrollo de la especie en el primer año de cultivo, presentando el siguiente orden decreciente: N> Ca> K> Mg> P = S> Mn> B > Fe> Zn> Cu.

Abstract The objective in this study was to determine the nutrient contents in Myrciaria dubia plants in function of five K2O doses (0, 40, 80, 120 and 160 kg ha-1) applied through fertigation. Leaf dry matter (LDM), total dry matter (TDM), and leaf nutrient contents were evaluated. The LDM and TDM were higher in plants subjected to the dose of 160 kg ha-1 of K2O, with 52.44 g and 302.69 g, respectively. Leaf N and K contents were 22.15 and 9.48 g kg-1 in response to 160 kg ha-1 of K2O. The mean P, Ca and S contents were 1.6, 17.89 and 1.61 g kg-1, respectively, and the content of Mg2 + decreased from 5.62 to 2.74 g kg-1 at the dose of 0 and 160 kg ha-1 of K2O, respectively. The B, Mn and Fe contents decreased from 136.5 to 100.0, 346.24 to 248, and from 142.06 to 97.35 mg kg-1 at the dose of 0 and 160 kg ha-1 of K2O, respectively. The mean Cu and Zn contents were 3.81 and 40,54 mg kg-1, respectively, at the K2O doses. The nutrient content determined in the leaves of M. dubia were adequate for the development of the species in the first year of cultivation, presenting the following decreasing order: N> Ca> K> Mg> P = S> Mn> B> Fe > Zn> Cu.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Overweight and obesity constitute a public health problem worldwide and also in Peru, and its study is necessary. The aim was to analyze the tendency of overweight and obesity according to age, sex and poverty. Material and Methods: A trend study that analyzed overweight and obesity in 175,984 Peruvians surveyed between 2007 and 2014. The samples were representative and probabilistic of Peruvian households. Results: The trend of overweight and obesity was increased in all age groups studied (p<0.001), except for the group under 5 years of age. In men, the tendency of overweight was to increase (p<0.001) except in children. In women, the tendency was to increase in all groups (p<0.001) except the under 5 years of age and the group between 20-29 years of age. In people living in extreme poverty, the tendency of overweight was to increase in the young, adult and elderly (p<0.001). In people living in poverty, the tendency of the overweight was to increase (p<0.01), except in children of 5-9 years of age. The trend of obesity in men and women was increased (p<0.001), except in children under 5 years of age. In women, the exception was also in older adults. Analyzing poverty it was observed that in people living in extreme poverty the tendency of obesity was to increase in young people and adults (p<0.01). In people living in poverty, the tendency of obesity was to increase in adolescents, youth and adults (p<0.01). Conclusions: The trend of overweight and obesity was increased, except in children under 5 years of age, with predominance in men and people living in poverty.

RESUMEN Introducción: El sobrepeso y la obesidad constituyen un problema de salud pública a nivel mundial y también en el Perú. El objetivo fue analizar la tendencia del sobrepeso y obesidad según edad, sexo y pobreza. Material y Métodos: Estudio de tendencia que analiza el sobrepeso y obesidad en 175.984 peruanos durante 2007 y 2014. Las muestras fueron representativas y probabilísticas de hogares peruanos. Resultados: La tendencia del sobrepeso y obesidad incrementó en todos los grupos etarios (p<0,001), excepto los menores de 5 años. En hombres, la tendencia del sobrepeso incrementó (p<0,001) excepto en los niños. En mujeres, la tendencia incrementó en todos los grupos (p<0,001) excepto en los menores de 5 años y el grupo entre 20-29 años. En personas en situación de pobreza extrema, la tendencia del sobrepeso incrementó en los jóvenes, adultos y adultos mayores (p<0,001). En personas en situación de pobreza, la tendencia del sobrepeso incrementó (p<0,01) excepto en niños de 5-9 años. La tendencia de la obesidad en hombres y mujeres incrementó (p<0,001), excepto en niños menores de 5 años. En las mujeres, la excepción también fue en adultas mayores. Analizando la pobreza se observó que en personas en situación de pobreza extrema la tendencia de la obesidad incrementó en jóvenes y adultos (p<0,01). En personas en situación de pobreza, la tendencia de obesidad incrementó en los adolescentes, jóvenes y adultos (p<0,01). Conclusiones: La tendencia del sobrepeso y obesidad fue en incremento, excepto en niños menores de 5 años, habiendo predominio en varones y personas en situación de pobreza.

Objectives. To estimate the prevalence of anemia and associated factors in elderly residing in Peruvian households. Materials and methods. the study deals with a cross-sectional design and was conducted in 2011. The sample was probabilistic, stratified and multistage independent in department of Peru. The required sample housing was 5792, we included 2172 elderly. We asked informed consent of all elderly. The anemia was defined as hemoglobin <13.0 g / dL in men and <12.0 g / dL in women, hemoglobin was adjusted for altitude. The anthropometric measurements were performed according to methodology MINSA/INS. The Nutritional status was assessed by body mass index. The classification of nutritional status: underweight (BMI≤23,0) (BMI>23 to <28), overweight (BMI≥28 to <32.0) and obesity (BMI≥32). Statistical analysis was performed using complex samples and adjusted by the weighting factor. We Calculated means, proportions. The chi-square and regression logistic. Results. The mean hemoglobin was 13.4 ± 1.6 g / dL. The prevalence of anemia was 23,3% (mild anemia 17.1%, moderate: severe 5,7% and 0,5%). The age 70 to 79 years (OR 1.5; CI 95%:1.1; 2.0),> 80 years (OR 2.1; CI 95%: 1.4; 3.0) and thinness (OR 1.7; CI 95%: 1.2, 2.3) associated with anemia. Ayacucho, Ancash, Lambayeque and Apurimac were the departments with the highest prevalence of anemia. Conclusions. Approximately one quarter of elderly were anemic, being more prevalent in the illiterate, rural and poor. Older age and thinness are associated with anemia in elderly Peruvians

El muestreo fue probabilístico, estratificado y multietápico. La muestra de viviendas fue 5792 y se incluyó 2172 adultos mayores. Se definió anemia como hemoglobina <13,0 g/dL en hombres y <12,0 g/dL en mujeres. El estado nutricional se evaluó mediante el IMC clasificándose como delgadez (IMC≤23,0), normal (IMC>23 a <28), sobrepeso (IMC≥28 a <32,0) y obesidad (IMC≥32). El análisis estadístico se realizó por muestras complejas y se ajustó por factor de ponderación. Se calcularon las medias, proporciones, chi cuadrado y regresión logística. Resultados. El promedio de hemoglobina fue 13,4 ±1,6 g/dL. La prevalencia de anemia fue 23,3% (Leve: 17,1%; moderada: 5,7% y severa: 0,5%). La edad de 70 a 79 años (OR 1,5; IC 95%: 1,1-2,0), >80 años (OR 2,1; IC 95%: 1,4-3,0) y la delgadez (OR 1,7; IC 95%:1,2-2,3) se asociaron con la anemia. Los departamentos con mayor prevalencia de anemia fueron Ayacucho (57,6%), Ancash (40,1%), Lambayeque (37,7%) y Apurímac (36,9%). Conclusiones. A research to study ectoparasite infracommunities from branchials on some community components of parasitefauna of 80 Cheilodactylus variegatus (32 females and 48 males) collected from Chorrillos Fishmarket, Lima, Perú, between May and July 1996 xas done. Fishes showed a standard length between 16.10 and 28.50 cm (mean = 21.58 ± 2.64). 604 specimens were collected with a mean abundance of 7.42 (1-36). The mean parasite species richness 1.3 (1-3) was not correlated with standard body length. Two fishes were not infected, 53 (66.25%) showed infection with 1 parasite species, and 24 (30%) and 1 (1.25%) had multiple infection, 2 and 3 parasite species, respectively. We found three ectoparasites: Paramicrocotyle nemadactylus (Prevalence = 91.25%; mean Intensity = 7.21; mean Abundance = 6.46 ± 7.30), Clavellotis dilatata (Prevalence = 36.25%; mean Intensity = 2.58; mean Abundance = 0.93 ± 2.03) and Caligus cheilodactylus (Prevalence = 2.50%; mean Intensity = 1; mean Abundance = 0.02). We did not find effect of sex and standard length with prevalence and mean abundance of infection of the first two ectoparasites. A slight interspecific association and covariations between abundance of. P. nemadactylus and C. dilatata employed comparatively seven indexes of association as Dice (0.470), Jaccard (0.800), Sörensen (0.888), Ochiai (0.521), Kulczynski 2 (0.578), Coeficient f (0.599), Forbe (0.906) and correlation of Pearson (r = 0.125; P = 0.271). The mean diversity in the infracommunities of C. variegatus was (H´)= 0.1722; The relative diversity was (J`) = 0.3609 and Simpson Index (C) = 0.9846. P. nemadactylus and C. dilatata showed the higher prevalence and mean abundance of infection with the first gill

Se estudiaron las comunidades de ectopa-rásitos branquiales de 80 Cheilodactylus variegatus (32 hembras y 48 machos recolectados en el mercado Chorrillo, Lima, Perú entre mayo y julio de 1996. Se encontraron 604 especímenes con un promedio de 7,4 (1-36) y se identificaron 3 especies: Paramicrotyle nemadactylus (prevalencia = 36,3%; intensidad media = 7,2; Abundancia media = 6,5 + 7,3); Clavellotis dilatata (Prevalencia= 36,3%; Intensidad media= 2,6; Abundancia media = 0,9 +2,0) y Caligus cheylodactylus (Prevalencia = 2,5%; Intensidad media = 1; Abundancia media = 0,02). No se encontró asociación entre sexo y longitud del pez y la prevalencia y abundancia de las infestaciones en los dos primeros ectoparásitos. Se analizan otros parámetros para conocer el comportamiento parasitarios en el pez estudiado
