RESUMO Neste texto, propomos uma reflexão teórico-prática acerca dos desafios impostos pelo ensino remoto online num mundo em pandemia, a partir do que identificamos como rupturas tecnológica, espaciotemporal e epistemológica que surgem quando transpomos o universo físico da sala de aula para o ambiente virtual. Nosso intuito, partindo desta reflexão, é pensar caminhos para a construção de um inédito viável no campo da educação linguística que aponte para uma outra e alternativa escola.

ABSTRACT In this paper, we propose a theoretical-practical reflection on the challenges imposed by online remote education in a pandemic world, from what we identify as technological, spatiotemporal and epistemological disruptions that arise when we transpose the physical universe of the classroom to the virtual environment. Based on this reflection, our goal is to think of ways of building an unknown viable in the field of language education that points to an alternative school.

Este artigo representa uma tentativa de estabelecer teórica e empiricamente possíveis pressupostos para o estudo do espaço como uma prática social. Tendo como referência teóricos que afirmam que o espaço não é meramente o pano de fundo estático onde a ação sócio-histórica se desenrola, mas um construto social que resulta de uma série de colonizações temporárias problemáticas que dividem e conectam as coisas em diferentes tipos de coletivos, estou interessada no papel material, simbólico e corpóreo dos processos de significação na criação das colonizações temporárias das quais o espaço resulta.

This paper represents an attempt to theoretically and empirically establish possible assumptions for the study of space as a social practice. Informed by theorists who assert that space is not merely the external static background where sociohistorical takes place, but a social construct that results from the outcome of a series of problematic temporary settlements that divide and connect things up to different kinds of collectives, I am concerned with the role of material, symbolic and embodied meaning-making practices in creating the temporary settlements of which space results.

Neste artigo, a noção de transdisciplinaridade no campo da Linguística Aplicada é discutida à luz das noções de terceiro espaço e desreterritorialização, em uma tentativa de desenvolver um projeto teórico que não poderia deixar de se propor multiterritorial. Tendo como referência a ideia trazida da Geografia de que todo processo de desterritorialização significa uma reterritorialização em novas bases, sugiro que uma transdisciplinaridade plena não é possível. Entretanto, isso não significa que ela não deva ser abordada como uma alternativa epistemológica para lidar com a complexidade do mundo contemporâneo.

In this paper, the notion of transdisciplinarity in the field of Applied Linguistics is discussed in light of the notions of third space and dereterritorialization, in an attempt to develop a theoretical project which had no alternative but to be multiterritorial. Based on the idea brought from Geography that every process of deterritorialization means a reterritorialization on new bases, it is stated that a full transdisciplinarity is not possible. However, it does not mean that the transdisciplinarity should not be approached as an epistemological alternative to deal with the complexity of the contemporary world.

O presente trabalho busca compreender como funcionam as crenças de uma professora e de seus alunos acerca do processo de ensino-aprendizagem de língua estrangeira para crianças, em um contexto pedagógico específico. Para tanto, através de um empreendimento crítico-reflexivo, a professora-pesquisadora parte de uma perspectiva sócio-histórica de linguagem e desenvolvimento psicológico humano, a partir da qual as crenças, enquanto construtos subjetivos, são analisadas e discutidas. O corpus foi recolhido em sala de aula, a partir de gêneros textuais específicos e constitutivos da função de professor e alunos. A análise revela que as crenças constituem-se mutuamente no e através do discurso, sendo influenciadas por diversos elementos que compõem o contexto de sala de aula. Os resultados, além de contribuírem para o entendimento do que sejam crenças e do papel que elas ocupam no ensino-aprendizagem de línguas estrangeiras para crianças, sugerem o uso de abordagens reflexivas como uma alternativa para o desenvolvimento profissional do professor.

The present essay aims to understand how beliefs towards foreign language teaching and learning are constructed by both teacher and young students in a particular context. Engaged in a critical and reflective undertaking, the teacher-researcher develops the study from a socio-historical theory of language and human psychological development. Based on this theory, beliefs, as subjective constructs, are analysed and discussed. The corpus was collected in classroom, through textual genres that are specific of teacher's and student's roles. The analysis reveals that beliefs are mutually constructed, in and through discourse, and are influenced by the different elements that are part of the classroom context. The results, besides their contributions to the comprehension of what a belief is and the role it plays in the process of teaching-learning a foreign language to young learners, suggest the use of reflective approaches as an alternative to teacher's professional development.
