Abstract Introduction: In Mexico, cardiac rehabilitation (CR) as an interdisciplinary intervention with therapeutic impact in patients with heart disease is growing. There is the need to know actual conditions of CR in our country. Objectives: The objective of this National Registry is to follow-up those existing and new CR units in Mexico through the comparison between the two previous registries, RENAPREC-2009 and RENAPREC II-2015 studies. This is a descriptive study focused on diverse CR activities such as assistance training, and certification of health professionals, barriers, reference, population attended, interdisciplinarity, permanence over time, growth prospects, regulations, post-pandemic condition, integrative characteristics, and scientific research. Results: Data were collected from 45 CR centers in the 32 states, 75.5% are private practice units, 67% are new, 33% were part of RENAPREC II-2015, and 17 have continued since 2009. With a better distribution of CR units along the territory, the median reference of candidates for CR programs is 9% with a significant reduction into tiempo of enrollment to Phase II admission (19 ± 11 days). Regarding to previous registries, the coverance of Phases I, II, and III is 71%, 100%, and 93%, respectively; and a coverance increases in evaluation, risk stratification, and prescription, more comprehensive attendance and prevention strategies. Conclusions: CR in Mexico has grown in the past 7 years. Even there is still low reference and heterogeneity in specific processes, there are strengths such as interdisciplinarity, scientific professionalization of specialists, national diversification, and an official society that are consolidated over time.

Resumen Introducción. Algunas especies de trips del género Frankliniella (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) son de importancia cuarentenaria en diversos cultivos en la región Centroamericana, sin embargo, diversas especies de dicho género han sido reportadas como parte de la fauna visitadora de la floración, no solo en plantas con producción agrícola. Objetivo. Registrar las especies de Frankliniella asociadas a los árboles de aguacate y sus arvenses, en la región central de Costa Rica y presentar una clave para la identificación de dichos trips. Materiales y métodos. Los muestreos se realizaron cada dos meses en tres diferentes zonas en la región central de Costa Rica, durante los años 2019 y 2021. Los trips del aguacate y de las plantas arvenses se recolectaron mediante el golpe de ramas, estos fueron preparados para su visualización en un microscopio convencional de luz e identificados por medio de su morfología. Resultados. Se identificaron veintidós especies de Frankliniella, dieciocho de ellas se asociaron a arvenses que crecen en los mismos cultivares, mientras que cinco especies se asociaron directamente al follaje y flor del árbol de aguacate. Conclusión. En la región central de Costa Rica, del género Frankliniella se encontraron tres especies: F. alonso, F. doris y F. nita sobre el árbol de aguacate durante la etapa de floración, una sola especie del follaje: F. sandovalensis y una sola especie tanto en el follaje como en la floración: F. cephalica.

Abstract Introduction. Some species of thrips in the genus Frankliniella (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) are of quarantine importance in various crops in the Central American region. Meanwhile, several species of this genus have been reported as part of the visitor fauna and flowering plants, not only in plants with agricultural production. Objective. To record the species of Frankliniella associated with avocado trees and their cultivars weeds in the central region of Costa Rica and to present a key for the identification of these thrips. Materials and methods. Sampling was carried out every two months in three different zones in the central region of Costa Rica during the years 2019 to 2021. Thrips from avocado and weeds were collected by tapping branches and were prepared for viewing under a conventional light microscope and identified by their morphology. Results. Twenty-two species of Frankliniella were identified, eighteen of which were associated with weeds growing in the same cultivars, while five species were directly associated with the foliage and flowers of the avocado tree. Conclusion. In the central region of Costa Rica, three species of the genus Frankliniella were found on the avocado tree during flowering stage: F. alonso, F. doris and F. nita, one species on the foliage: F. sandovalensis, and one species on both foliage and flowering: F. cephalica.

Resumen El Carbono orgánico del suelo está relacionado con las propiedades físicas, químicas y biológicas del suelo, y el Nitrógeno es un macroelemento esencial en el crecimiento de las plantas. Con el fin de conocer los reservorios de Carbono y Nitrógeno en un Cambisol, se realizó un estudio en Linares, Nuevo León, México. Se recolectaron cuatro muestras compuestas (n=4) (submuestras individuales) a cinco profundidades (0-5, 5-15, 15-30, 30-60 y 60-100 cm), en dos usos del suelo: Matorral Espinoso Tamaulipeco (MET) y Pastizal inducido de uso pecuario, para un total de 40 muestras (20 por uso de suelo). Las variables químicas analizadas fueron porcentaje de Carbono orgánico del suelo (COS), Nitrógeno total (Nt), y se estimó la relación C:N. Asimismo, se determinó la densidad aparente (Da) para estimar el almacén de COS y Nt (Mg ha-1). Las concentraciones medias de COS y Nt para el MET fueron de 2.87 y 0.28 %, y para el Pastizal de 2.21 y 0.21 %, respectivamente. Los análisis estadísticos mostraron diferencias en los reservorios de COS y Nt entre usos del suelo y profundidades. Los almacenes en el perfil analizado (0-100 cm) fueron de 164.99 y 19.83 Mg ha-1 para el MET, y para Pastizal de 146.07 y 17.81 Mg ha-1, respectivamente. El promedio de la relación C:N para el MET fue de 9.28 y en Pastizal de 10.73. El cambio de uso de suelo del MET a Pastizal provocó una disminución en las reservas de COS y Nt de 11.47 y 10.17 %, respectivamente.

Abstract The organic Carbon of the soil is related to the physical, chemical, and biological properties of the soil, while Nitrogen is an essential macroelement in plant growth. To know the Carbon and Nitrogen stock in a Cambisol, a study was carried out in Linares, Nuevo León, Mexico. Four composite samples (n=4) (individual subsamples) were collected at five depths (0-5, 5-15, 15-30, 30-60 and 60-100 cm), in two land uses: Tamaulipan Thorny Scrub (MET) and Induced Grassland for livestock use, obtaining 40 samples in total (20 each land use); the chemical variables analyzed were soil organic Carbon percentage (COS), total Nitrogen (Nt) and the ratio C:N was estimated. Likewise, bulk density (Da) was determined to calculate the COS and Nt storage (Mg ha-1). The mean percentage of COS and Nt for the MET were 2.87 and 0.28 %, and Grassland were 2.21 and 0.21 %. Statistical analyses showed that there are differences in the COS and Nt reservoirs between land uses and depths. The COS and Nt reservoirs in the entire profile analyzed (0-100 cm) for the MET were 164.99 and 19.83 Mg ha-1, and for Grassland 146.07 and 17.81 Mg ha-1, respectively. While the average C:N ratio for the MET was 9.28 and Grassland was 10.73. Change in land use from MET to Grassland caused a decrease in the COS and Nt reservoirs of 11.47 and 10.17 %, respectively.

Abstract The terms right and left are applicable beyond everyday life and living beings. Resumen Los términos derecha e izquierda son aplicables más allá de la cotidianidad humana y los seres vivos. Los dedos de la mano derecha tienen una disposición respecto al centro de la mano, que no es idéntica o superponible a aquella de la mano izquierda. Abstract: This study identifies the main needs of the deaf community in the city of Medellin (Colombia) in terms of educational training. The deaf community must face various difficulties in the educational, labor, cultural, and social spheres, which affects the inclusion of the deaf in society. The methodology is qualitative. Data are gathered through interviews of 16 deaf people and four experts in educational support of deaf people. There are three categories: job placement needs, digital literacy, and perceptions about MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) for the deaf. The results show that the deaf consider that a MOOC for the deaf in sign language is suitable for strengthening their skills and abilities. It is concluded that the deaf need more training in job placement, need to learn to make greater use of ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies), and need the inclusion of sign language in such technologies.

Resumen: En este estudio se identifican las principales necesidades de la comunidad sorda de la ciudad de Medellín (Colombia) en términos de formación educativa. La comunidad sorda se enfrenta a diversas dificultades en el ámbito educativo, laboral, cultural y social, lo que afecta su inclusión en la sociedad. La metodología es cualitativa. Se recolecta información mediante entrevistas a 16 sordos y a 4 expertos en el acompañamiento educativo de las personas sordas. Se establecen tres categorías de análisis: necesidades de inserción laboral, alfabetización digital y percepciones sobre MOOC (curso en línea masivo y abierto) para Sordos. Los resultados muestran que los sordos consideran que el MOOC para sordos en lengua de señas es adecuado para el fortalecimiento de sus habilidades y capacidades. Se concluye que los sordos necesitan mayor formación en inserción laboral, aprender a hacer un mayor uso de las TIC (tecnologías de la información y la comunicación) y que se incluya más la lengua de señas en dichas tecnologías.

Resumen Antecedentes: El daño cerebral adquirido es un trastorno neurológico común. Objetivo: Determinar las intersecciones probabilísticas de variables relacionadas con daño cerebral adquirido a partir de la determinación de probabilidades a priori y a posteriori. Método: Estudio retrospectivo analítico. Se realizó análisis descriptivo y se calcularon intervalos de confianza para la media y para la proporción con α = 0.05 considerando la edad del paciente y el diagnóstico. Se realizó análisis de intersección probabilística, probabilidad a priori y a posteriori considerando el diagnóstico, el sexo y la década de edad; por último, se utilizó la prueba χ2. Resultados: Se analizaron 736 pacientes. El diagnóstico más frecuente fue el trastorno del lenguaje. Los pacientes diagnosticados con trastorno de memoria fueron los más jóvenes y los diagnosticados con trastorno cognitivo degenerativo los más longevos. La probabilidad de que llegue al hospital, al servicio de patología de lenguaje, un paciente con secuelas por daño cerebral adquirido, sea diagnosticado con trastorno del lenguaje y sea hombre es del 29.06%. Conclusiones: La alta prevalencia de discapacidad a corto y largo plazo generada por el daño cerebral adquirido indica la importancia de la detección y el diagnóstico temprano y oportuno que favorezcan una pronta y eficiente atención especializada.

Abstract Background: The acquired brain damage is a common neurological disorder. Objective: Determine the probabilistic intersections of variables related to acquired brain damage from the determination of a priori and a posteriori probabilities. Method: Analytical retrospective study. A descriptive analysis was carried out, confidence intervals were calculated to obtain the mean and the proportion with α = 0.05 considering the age of the patient and the diagnosis. An analysis of probabilistic intersection, a priori and a posteriori probability was performed considering diagnosis, sex and age decade; finally, chi squared was calculated. Results: 736 patients were analyzed. The most frequent diagnosis was language disorder. The patients diagnosed with memory disorder were the youngest and those diagnosed with degenerative cognitive disorder the oldest. The probability that a patient with sequelae due to acquired brain damage arrives at the hospital, at the language pathology service, to be diagnosed with a language disorder and that this patient is also a man is 29.06%. Conclusions: The high prevalence of short and long-term disability generated by acquired brain damage highlights the importance of an early and timely detection and diagnosis so that it favors prompt and efficient specialized care.

Resumen El injertado es el método de propagación vegetativa más utilizado en coníferas para clonar genotipos superiores de especies forestales. El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar el efecto de dos técnicas de injertado (fisura terminal y enchapado lateral) y dos métodos de cicatrización (natural y aplicación de cera cicatrizante) en tres especies de importancia económica en Durango: Pinus engelmannii, P. cooperi y P. durangensis. El experimento se estableció con un diseño en bloques completos al azar con arreglo factorial 3×2×2 y nueve repeticiones. La supervivencia final se evaluó a los 180 días. El efecto de los tratamientos individuales y sus interacciones se determinó con las pruebas Kruskal-Wallis, Dunn y Dunnett. Se obtuvieron diferencias significativas (p<0.05); la supervivencia mayor fue de 32.9 % en P. engelmannii, 16.3 % en enchapado lateral y 16.9 % con cera cicatrizante. Las dobles interacciones especie × técnica de injerto y especie × método de cicatrización registraron diferencias significativas (p<0.05), además de la triple interacción. Los valores más altos de supervivencia se observaron en injertos de enchapado lateral y fisura terminal de P. engelmannii, con 40 y 25.8 %, respectivamente, así como en los injertos de P. engelmannii con aplicación de cera, cuyo valor fue de 43.3 %. La mejor triple interacción fue la de injertos de enchapado lateral de P. engelmannii con cera cicatrizante (50 %). P. engelmannii respondió mejor al injertado. En P. cooperi y P. durangensis se recomienda buscar otras técnicas de injertado.

Abstract Grafting is the most widely used vegetative propagation method in conifers to clone superior genotypes of forest species. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of two grafting techniques (terminal cleavage and side veneer) and two healing methods (natural and application of healing wax) in three economically important species in Durango: Pinus engelmannii, P. cooperi, and P. durangensis. The experiment was established using a randomized complete block design with a 3×2×2 factorial arrangement and nine replications. Final survival was assessed at 180 days. The effect of individual treatments and their interactions was determined with Kruskal-Wallis, Dunn, and Dunnett tests. Significant differences (p<0.05) were obtained; the highest survival rate for P. engelmannii was 32.9 %, 16.3 % with side-veneer grafting, and 16.9 % with the use of healing wax. The double interactions between species and grafting technique, and between species and healing method showed significant differences (p<0.05), in addition to the triple interaction. The highest survival values were observed in side-veneer and terminal-cleft grafts of P. engelmannii, with 40 and 25.8 %, respectively, as well as in the grafts of P. engelmannii with wax application, whose value was 43.3 %. The best triple interaction was that of side-veneer grafts of P. engelmannii with healing wax (50 %). P. engelmannii responded best to grafting. For P. cooperi and P. durangensis, it is recommended to search for alternative grafting techniques.

Resumen Los riñones ectópicos pélvicos solitarios asociados a degeneración aneurismática de las arterias ilíacas y la aorta abdominal son eventos muy raros. Los enfoques quirúrgicos para la corrección de aneurismas con compromiso renal son un desafío por la falta de consenso actual, en especial cuando cursan con riñones ectópicos pélvicos solitarios funcionales asociados. Por tal motivo, una de las estrategias que ha demostrado buenos resultados a corto y mediano plazo es la nefroprotección en frío, la cual puede ser usada con seguridad en estos pacientes. En el caso que se presenta, se evidenció una ectasia aórtica con aneurismas ilíacos bilaterales asociados con un riñón ectópico pélvico solitario en un paciente masculino de 75 años, con hipertensión arterial y dislipidemia. Se realizó una reconstrucción aortoilíaca bilateral y una reconstrucción de la arteria hipogástrica, además de reimplante de la arteria renal ectópica bajo irrigación renal en frío, sin complicaciones y preservación de la función renal.

Abstract Solitary pelvic ectopic kidneys associated with aneurysmal degeneration of the iliac arteries and abdominal aorta are very rare events. Surgical approaches for the correction of aneurysms with renal involvement are challenging due to the lack of current consensus, especially when they are associated with functional solitary pelvic ectopic kidneys. For this reason, one of the strategies that has shown good results in the short and medium term is cold nephroprotection, which can be used safely in these patients. In the present case, aortic ectasia with bilateral iliac aneurysms associated with a solitary pelvic ectopic kidneys was evidenced in a 75-year-old male patient with arterial hypertension and dyslipidemia. Bilateral aortoiliac reconstruction was performed with hypogastric artery reconstruction and reimplantation of the ectopic renal artery under cold renal irrigation, without complications and preservation of renal function.

Resumen: Introducción. Los estudios de cohortes han sido fundamentales para describir la evolución de múltiples enfermedades. El Grupo de estudio Uruguayo de VIH, comenzó en 2018 el seguimiento de una cohorte de personas con VIH de diferentes prestadores de salud. Objetivo . Describir las características epidemiológicas y clínicas de las personas incluidas en la cohorte GeUVIH. Pacientes y métodos. Estudio descriptivo, observacional, multicéntrico transversal y prospectivo. Desde 1 de julio de 2018 hasta 31 de mayo de 2021. Se analizaron 795 personas con VIH de centros con consultas ambulatorias públicas y privadas de Montevideo-Uruguay. Resultados. Se analizaron 795. Relación hombre/ mujer 2 a 1. Mediana de edad 46 años. El 56,6% tenía entre 39 y 58 años. Motivaron al diagnóstico de VIH sobre todo controles en salud y enfermedades oportunistas. Al ingresar a la cohorte el 49% llevaba más de 10 años viviendo con VIH y el 25% estaba en estadio SIDA. El 98.4% estaban recibiendo antirretrovirales y de ellos 84% tenían carga viral indetectable. El 1,3% estaba co-infectado con el VHB y 3,9% con el VHC. Fallecieron 4 pacientes de la cohorte. Conclusiones. Se observó una población vinculada a los servicios de salud, que recibe TAR y es adherente. El envejecimiento de la población nos obliga a diagnosticar y tratar precozmente las comorbilidades. Se debe estimular el diagnóstico de VIH durante el control en salud y/o campañas preventivas. El mantenimiento de la cohorte prospectivamente dará información fundamental para la toma de decisiones.

Abstract: Introduction: cohort studies are essential to describe the evolution of multiple diseases. In 2018 the Uruguayan group for the study of HIV started to monitor a cohort of individuals infected with HIV in different health care Institutions. Objective: to describe the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of individuals included in an HIV cohort (GeUVIH). Patients and method: descriptive, observational, multi-transversal and prospective study. From July 1, 2018 to May 31, 2021. 795 individuals infected with HIV were analyzed in private and public outpatient consultations in Montevideo, Uruguay. Results: the case of 795 patients was analyzed. Men/women ratio was 2/1. Median age was 46 years old. 65.6% was between 39 and 58 years old. HIV diagnosis mainly resulted from health control and opportunistic diseases. Upon inclusion in the cohort group, 49% of patients had been living with HIV for over 10 years and were in the AIDS stage of infection. 98.3% were under antiretroviral treatment and in 84% of them viral load could not be detected. 1.3% of patients presented HIV-HIB coinfection and 3.9% HIV-HIC coinfection. 4 patients in the cohort died. Conclusions: the studied population was found to be related to the health care services, receiving antiretroviral therapy and showing good adherence to treatment. The aging of population makes it mandatory for the early diagnosis and treatment of comorbilities. Diagnosis of HIV must be encouraged in health care controls or preventive campaigns. The prospective maintenance of the cohort will provide key data for the making of decisions.

Resumo: Introdução: estudos de coorte têm sido essenciais para descrever a evolução de múltiplas doenças. O Grupo Uruguaio de Estudos de HIV começou a monitorar uma coorte de pessoas com HIV de diferentes prestadores de serviços de saúde em 2018. Objetivo: descrever as características epidemiológicas e clínicas das pessoas incluídas na coorte GeUVIH. Pacientes e métodos : estudo descritivo, observacional, multicêntrico, transversal e prospectivo. No período 1º de julho de 2018 a 31 de maio de 2021 foram analisadas 795 pessoas com HIV de unidades ambulatoriais públicas e privadas em Montevidéu-Uruguai. Resultados: foram incluídas 795 pessoas. A proporção homem/mulher foi 2 para 1, a mediana de idade 46 anos sendo que 56,6% tinham entre 39 e 58 anos. O diagnóstico do HIV foi motivado especialmente por controles de saúde e pela detecção de doenças oportunistas. Ao ingressar na coorte, 49% viviam com HIV há mais de 10 anos e 25% encontravam-se na fase de AIDS. 98,4% estavam recebendo antirretrovirais e 84% deles tinham carga viral indetectável. 1,3% estavam co-infectados com HBV e 3,9% com HCV. Quatro pacientes da coorte morreram. Conclusões: observou-se uma população vinculada aos serviços de saúde, que recebe TARV com adesão ao tratamento. O envelhecimento da população obriga-nos a diagnosticar e tratar precocemente as comorbilidades. O diagnóstico de HIV deve ser incentivado durante controles de saúde e/ou campanhas preventivas. Manter a coorte prospectivamente fornecerá informações essenciais para a tomada de decisões.

Abstract Objectives The present study aimed to evaluate the measurement invariance of a general measure of the perception of governmental responses to COVID-|19 (COVID-SCORE-10) in the general population of 13 Latin American countries. Methods A total of 5780 individuals from 13 Latin American and Caribbean countries selected by non-probabilistic snowball sampling participated. A confirmatory factor analysis was performed and the alignment method was used to evaluate invariance. Additionally, a graded response model was used for the assessment of item characteristics. Results The results indicate that there is approximate measurement invariance of the COVID-SCORE-10 among the participating countries. Furthermore, IRT results suggest that the COVID-SCORE-10 measures with good psychometric ability a broad spectrum of the construct assessed, especially around average levels. Comparison of COVID-SCORE-10 scores indicated that participants from Cuba, Uruguay and El Salvador had the most positive perceptions of government actions to address the pandemic. Thus, the underlying construct of perception of government actions was equivalent in all countries. Conclusion The results show the importance of initially establishing the fundamental measurement properties and MI before inferring the cross-cultural universality of the construct to be measured.

Resumen: Debido a la falta de métodos para estimar con precisión la pérdida de suelo en México, es necesario realizar estudios experimentales para estimar la erosión basada en datos validados. Por lo que el objetivo de esta investigación fue estimar la Tasa de Erosión Anual (A) para diversas coberturas de suelo empleando la Ecuación Universal de Pérdida de Suelo (EUPS), y ajustada mediante su relación con el índice de Generación de Sedimentos (IGS) obtenido en lotes de escurrimiento. Los resultados muestran que, durante el período y las condiciones de este estudio: EUPS subestima el valor de A al calcular la erosividad de la lluvia con el Índice Modificado de Fournier (RIMF) en los tratamientos con Vegetación Natural (VN) y Roturación con Esquilmo (RE). Los suelos sin coberturas reflejaron mayor IGS. Las ecuaciones obtenidas con la relación IGS vs A, de los tratamientos con Suelo Desnudo (SD) y Roturados (RT), pueden ser empleadas para ajustar la tasa de pérdida edáfica en suelos con características similares a las del estudio, cumpliéndose de forma parcial el objetivo de este trabajo.

Summary: Due to the lack of methods to accurately estimate soil loss in Mexico, experimental studies should be conducted to estimate erosion based on validated data. Therefore, the objective of this research is to estimate the Annual Erosion Rate (A) for various soil covers using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (EUPS) and adjusting its relationship with the Sediment Generation Index (IGS) obtained in experimental batches. The results show that during the period and conditions of this study, EUPS underestimates the value of A, when estimating the erosivity of the rain with the Modified Fournier Index (RIMF), in treatments with Natural Vegetation (VN) and Roturation with Esquilmo (RE). Soils without covers evidenced a higher IGS. Likewise, the equations obtained with the relationship IGS vsA, of the treatments with Bare (SD) and Broken Soil (RT) can be used to adjust the edaphic loss rate in soils with the same characteristics as those of the study, complying partially with the objective of this research.

Abstract The classification of land use and vegetation is a complex exercise difficult to perform with traditional methods, thus deep learning models constitute a viable alternative because they are highly capable of learning this complex semantics, a trait which allows their application in the automatic identification of land use and vegetation, based on spatiotemporal patterns derived from their appearance. The objective of this study was to propose and evaluate a deep learning convolutional neural network model for the classification of 22 different land covers and land use classes located in the Atoyac-Salado basin. The proposed model was trained using digital data captured in 2021 by the Sentinel-2 satellite; a different combination of hyperparameters was applied in which the accuracy of the model depends on the optimizer, the activation function, the filter size, the learning rate and the batch size. The results provided an accuracy of 84.57 % for the data set. A regularization method called Dropout was used to reduce overadjustment, with great effectiveness. It was proven with sufficient accuracy that deep learning with convolutional neural networks identifies patterns in the reflectance data captured by Sentinel-2 satellite images for land use and vegetation classification in intrinsically difficult areas of the Atoyac-Salado basin.

Resumen La clasificación de uso del suelo y vegetación es un ejercicio complejo y difícil de realizar con métodos tradicionales, por lo que los modelos de aprendizaje profundo son una alternativa para su aplicación debido a que son altamente capaces de aprender esta semántica compleja, lo que hace plausible su aplicación en la identificación automática de usos del suelo y vegetación a partir de patrones espacio-temporales extraídos de su apariencia. El objetivo del presente estudio fue proponer y evaluar un modelo de red neuronal convolucional de aprendizaje profundo para la clasificación de 22 clases distintas de cobertura y uso del suelo ubicadas en la cuenca río Atoyac-Salado. El modelo propuesto se entrenó utilizando datos digitales capturados en 2021 por el satélite Sentinel-2; se aplicó una combinación diferente de hiperparámetros en la cual la precisión del modelo depende del optimizador, la función de activación, el tamaño del filtro, la tasa de aprendizaje y el tamaño del lote. Los resultados proporcionaron una precisión de 84.57 % para el conjunto de datos. Para reducir el sobreajuste se empleó el método de regularización denominado Dropout, que resultó ser muy eficaz. Se comprobó con suficiente precisión que el aprendizaje profundo con redes neuronales convolucionales identifica patrones en los datos de la reflectancia captada por las imágenes del satélite Sentinel-2 para la clasificación el uso de suelo y vegetación en áreas con una dificultad intrínseca en la cuenca del río Atoyac-Salado.

ABSTRACT Introduction. The behavior of COVID-19 is influenced by diverse social differentials that transcend demographic variables and include morbidity, the conditions of their homes, family dynamics, job performance, gender roles and stereotypes, care tasks, habits, and behaviors of life and consumption, among others. Methods. Statistical and demographic analysis and tools of metric studies of the information were used. Results and Discussion. The research showed the importance of incorporating into the analysis of the behavior of COVID-19 in Cuba the influence of social and epidemiological differentials determined by skin color, marital status, employment status, income levels, types of families, mobility, hygienic environmental conditions, access to health services, among others, which can place populations in greater or lesser conditions of vulnerability. Conclusions: The composition and dynamics of the population together with other social differentials are determinants of the behavior and expression of the pandemic. The crossing of epidemiological factors with the analysis of containment measures and the composition and structure of the affected population allows for the design of health policies that are more adjusted to the needs of the pandemic. Distance psychological counseling makes it possible to identify and deal with situations related to confinement and changes in life routines that affect the mental health of different groups of people.

RESUMEN Introducción. El comportamiento de la COVID-19 está influenciado por diferenciales sociales que trascienden las variables demográficas e incluyen la morbilidad, las condiciones de sus viviendas, las dinámicas familiares, el desempeño laboral, los roles y estereotipos de género, las tareas de cuidado, los hábitos y comportamientos de vida y consumo, entre otros. Métodos. Se empleó el análisis estadístico y demográfico y herramientas de los estudios métricos. Resultados y Discusión. La investigación mostró la importancia de incorporar a los análisis del comportamiento de la COVID-19 en Cuba la influencia de diferenciales sociales y epidemiológicos determinados por el color de la piel, el estado conyugal, la situación laboral, los niveles de ingreso, los tipos de familias, la movilidad, las condiciones higiénico ambientales, el acceso a los servicios de salud, entre otros, que pueden ubicar a las poblaciones en mayores o menores condiciones de vulnerabilidad. Conclusiones, la composición y la dinámica de la población junto a otros diferenciales sociales son determinantes del comportamiento de la pandemia. El cruzamiento de los factores epidemiológicos con el análisis de las medidas de contención y la composición y estructura de población afectada permite diseñar políticas sanitarias más ajustadas a las necesidades de la pandemia. La orientación psicológica a distancia permite identificar y atender situaciones vinculadas al confinamiento y los cambios en las rutinas de vida que afectan la salud mental de diferentes grupos de personas.

Resumen: Un pez nativo cada vez más estudiado en Latinoamérica es el Dormitator latifrons, pero se desconoce el efecto de altas densidades de siembra en su fisiología. El objetivo fue determinar el efecto de diferentes densidades de siembra en el crecimiento y parámetros sanguíneos. Se utilizaron organismos silvestres aclimatados al cautiverio, alimentados al 4% de biomasa total durante 60 días. Se registró peso y longitud inicial y final, determinando índices de crecimiento y supervivencia. Al final del experimento se tomó una muestra de sangre al total de organismos para evaluar parámetros sanguíneos No se encontraron diferencias en el crecimiento y supervivencia entre las diferentes densidades. Los parámetros sanguíneos no fueron afectados por la densidad, a excepción del estallido respiratorio, todos se encuentran entre los rangos de referencia de buena salud para peces. La especie no presentó señales de estrés o respuesta inmune adversa asociada al incremento de la densidad de cultivo.

Abstract: The native fish Dormitator latifrons culture technology in Latin America has increased, but the effect of high stocking densities on the physiology of the species is still unknown. The objective of this study was to analyze the effect of different stocking densities on growth and blood parameters. Wild organisms were acclimatized to culture conditions, and fed daily at 4% of total biomass, during 60 days. The weight and length of the organisms were recorded at the beginning and end of the experiment, growth and survival rates were determined. At the end of the experiment, a blood sample was taken from all fish for blood parameters evaluation. No differences in growth and survival were found between the different densities tested. Blood parameters were not affected by stocking density. All blood parameters are within the reference ranges indicating good fish health, except respiratory burst. The fish did not show signs of stress or any negative immune response at all culture densities tested.
