Background: Adhering to a diet adequate in macronutrients is crucial for the secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Objective: To assess the prevalence of adherence to recommendations for the consumption of dietary fatty acids for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and to estimate whether the presence of certain cardiovascular risk factors would be associated with adherence. Methods: Cross-sectional study using baseline data from 2,358 participants included in the "Brazilian Cardioprotective Nutritional Program Trial". Dietary intake and cardiovascular risk factors were assessed. Adequate intake of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) was considered as ≥10% of total daily energy intake; for monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA), 20%; and for saturated fatty acids (SFA), <7% according to the Brazilian Society of Cardiology. A significance level of 5% was considered in the statistical analysis. Results: No participant adhered to all recommendations simultaneously, and more than half (1,482 [62.9%]) did not adhere to any recommendation. Adherence exclusively to the SFA recommendation was the most prevalent, fulfilled by 659 (28%) participants, followed by adherence exclusively to the PUFA (178 [7.6%]) and MUFA (5 [0.2%]) recommendations. There was no association between the number of comorbidities and adherence to nutritional recommendations (p = 0.269). Participants from the Brazilian Northeast region showed a higher proportion of adherence to SFA consumption recommendations (38.42%) and lower adherence to PUFA intake (3.52%) (p <0.001) compared to other regions. Resumo Fundamento: A adesão à uma alimentação adequada em macronutrientes é fundamental para a prevenção secundária de doenças cardiovasculares. Objetivo: Avaliar a prevalência de adesão às recomendações de consumo de ácidos graxos para prevenção e tratamento de doenças cardiovasculares, e estimar se a presença de determinados fatores de risco cardiovascular estaria associada à adesão. Métodos: Estudo transversal com os dados de linha de base de 2358 participantes do estudo "Brazilian Cardioprotective Nutritional Program Trial". Dados de consumo alimentar, e fatores de risco cardiovascular foram avaliados. Foi considerada, de acordo com a Sociedade Brasileira de Cardiologia, uma ingestão adequada de ácidos graxos poli-insaturados (AGPI) ≥10% do consumo total de energia diária, para ácidos graxos monoinsaturados (AGM), 20% e para ácidos graxos saturados (AGS), <7%. Na análise estatística foi considerando nível de significância de 5%. Resultados: Nenhum participante aderiu a todas as recomendações de forma simultânea e mais da metade (1482 [62,9%]) não aderiu a nenhuma recomendação. A adesão exclusivamente à recomendação de AGS foi a mais prevalente, sendo cumprida por 659 (28%) dos participantes, seguida da adesão exclusivamente à recomendação de AGP (178 [7,6%]) e de AGM (5 [0,2%]). Não houve associação entre o número de comorbidades e a adesão às recomendações nutricionais (p =0,269). Os participantes da região Nordeste do país apresentaram maior proporção de adesão às recomendações para consumo de AGS (38,42%), e menor para ingestão de AGPI (3,52%) (p <0,001) em comparação às demais. ABSTRACT Objective: The relevance of literary prizes has been widely studied, although no works have been found that reflect their importance in the case of Children's and Youth Literature (LIJ) in Brazil, so this work aims to be a first approach to the subject. Methods: For this, the national LIJ awards in Brazil have been studied, as well as 474 award-winning titles in force between 2000 and 2020 and a characterization of them has been carried out, studying their chronological evolution, the institutions on which they depend, its most awarded modalities, categories and genres. Results: It is concluded that in Brazil there are few national LIJ awards compared to its large territorial extension. It is also observed that they are consolidated awards over time, although their appearance is late compared to the first appearance of the children's/youth book in Brazil. Conclusions: The study of the authors reveals that not all the winners are recognized and are considered great names of the LIJ in Brazil. Finally, the most awarded genre is the narrative followed by illustrated albums, especially in the last ones studied. RESUMEN Objetivo: La relevancia de los premios literarios ha sido ampliamente estudiada, aunque no se han encontrado trabajos que reflejan su importancia en el caso de la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil (LIJ) de Brasil, por lo que este trabajo tiene como objetivo ser un primer acercamiento al tema. Método: Para ello se han estudiado los premios de LIJ nacionales en Brasil, así como 474 títulos galardonados vigentes entre 2000 y 2020 y se ha realizado una caracterización de los mismos estudiando su evolución cronológica, las instituciones de las que dependen, sus modalidades, categorías y géneros más premiados. Asimismo, se analizan los autores y autoras más galardonados, los géneros literarios y las materias más habituales de los títulos premiados. Resultado: Se concluye que en Brasil hay pocos premios nacionales de LIJ en comparación con su gran extensión territorial. También se observa que son premios consolidados en el tiempo, aunque su aparición sea tardía en comparación con la primera aparición del libro infantil/juvenil en Brasil. Conclusiones: El estudio de los autores permite conocer que no todos los premiados poseen reconocimiento y son considerados grandes nombres de la LIJ en Brasil. Abstract Objective To analyze the frequency of polypharmacy and the prescription of Potentially Inappropriate Medications (PIM) according to the Beers Criteria and CBMPI in older adults with clinical-functional vulnerability. Method This is a cross-sectional study where the medical records of 496 participants aged 60 and older, seen in their first appointment at a Gerontological Polyclinic, were analyzed. Sociodemographic data, medications, the Clinical-Functional Vulnerability Index-20 (IVCF-20), and falls were extracted from the medical records. Polypharmacy was defined as the simultaneous use of five or more medications. Participants were classified into three groups: robust, at risk, and vulnerable. Results The analysis revealed that 69 (13.91%) participants were using polypharmacy. Among polypharmacy users, 40 (57.97%) were using at least one PIM. The most commonly found PIM were glibenclamide and omeprazole, respectively. Older adults with vulnerability were three times more likely to have polypharmacy (OR 3.59; 95% CI 2.109-6.092). Conclusion The use of polypharmacy and PIM in this study was associated with the vulnerability of older adults, emphasizing the need for a thorough evaluation of medication prescriptions for this population. Resumo Objetivo Analisar a frequência de polifarmácia e prescrição de medicamentos potencialmente inapropriados (MPI) segundo os Critérios de Beers e CBMPI em pessoas idosas com vulnerabilidade clínico-funcional. Método Trata-se de um estudo transversal onde analisou-se os prontuários de 496 participantes com 60 anos ou mais, atendidos em primeira consulta em uma Policlínica Gerontológica. Os dados sociodemográficos, medicamentos, e o Índice de Vulnerabilidade Clínico Funcional 20 (IVCF-20) e quedas foram extraídos dos prontuários. A polifarmácia foi definida como o uso simultâneo de cinco ou mais medicamentos. Os participantes foram classificados em três grupos: robusto, em risco e vulnerável. Resultados A análise demonstrou que 69 (13,91%) dos participantes faziam uso de polifarmácia. Entre os usuários de polifarmácia, 40 (57,97%) faziam uso de pelo menos um MPI. Os MPIs mais encontrados foram a glibenclamida e o omeprazol, respectivamente. Pessoas idosas com vulnerabilidade apresentaram um risco três vezes maior de apresentar polifarmácia (RP 3,59; IC95% 2,109-6,092). Conclusão O uso de polifarmácia e MPI neste estudo estavam associados à vulnerabilidade da pessoa idosa, reforçando a necessidade de avaliação criteriosa de prescrições medicamentosas para essa população. ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: Specific types of violence such as intimate partner sexual violence and intimate partner homicide occur more frequently in rural areas. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to systematically review the literature on the knowledge and attitudes of rural healthcare providers regarding cases of domestic violence against women. DESIGN AND SETTING: Systematic review developed at Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. METHODS: We conducted an electronic search of six databases, which only included observational studies, regardless of the year, language, or country of publication, except for studies that used secondary data and were exclusively qualitative. Two reviewers performed the selection, data extraction, and risk of bias assessment using a specific Joanna Briggs Institute tool. RESULTS: Six studies met the inclusion criteria. All the studies had a low risk of bias. Approximately 38% of these professionals identified injuries caused by violence in patients. When asked about knowing the correct attitude to take in cases of confirmed violence, between 12% and 64% of rural healthcare providers answered positively; most of them would refer to specialized institutions and promote victim empowerment and counseling. The number of professionals with an educational background in the field ranged from 16% to 98%. CONCLUSIONS: The evident disparity across studies shows that some professionals have suboptimal knowledge and require training to adopt the correct attitude when identifying female victims of domestic violence in clinical practice. Resumo Neste artigo, analisamos os processos interacionais presentes em grupos antivacina no Telegram no Brasil. Usando descritores associados ao tema da vacina e à contestação vacinal, identificamos sete grupos que abordaram a questão vacinal de janeiro a março de 2021, período que corresponde aos primeiros meses da vacinação contra a Covid-19 no Brasil. Utilizando o método da Teoria Fundamentada, realizamos uma análise qualitativa das conversas tecidas nos grupos estudados. Os resultados mostram que essas interações estão centradas em três eixos principais que revelam: 1) a formação de um senso de comunidade, envolvendo processos de ajuda mútua, reconhecimento de pares, deliberações sobre o grupo e a rede antivacina, testemunhais e suporte afetivo; 2) o processo de elaboração de uma identidade marcada pela diferença em relação à alteridade; e 3) o gerenciamento de processos de hesitação e dissenso, que podem resultar em rupturas no grupo. Abstract In this article, we analyze the interactional processes in anti-vaccine groups on Telegram in Brazil. Using descriptors associated with the vaccine topic and vaccine criticism, we identified seven groups that addressed the vaccine issue from January to March 2021, the first months of vaccination against Covid-19 in Brazil. Using the Grounded Theory method, we conducted a qualitative analysis of the conversations held in the studied groups. The results show that these interactions are centered around three main axes that reveal: 1) the formation of a sense of community, involving processes of mutual aid, recognition of peers, deliberations about the group and the anti-vaccine network, testimonials, and emotional support; 2) the process of elaborating an identity marked out by difference in relation to alterity; 3) the management of hesitancy and dissent processes, which can result in group ruptures. Resumo No Brasil, há mais de três décadas, o ensino superior em Enfermagem está subordinado a um intensivo processo de privatização. Esse artigo caracteriza essa expansão no estado de Pernambuco e analisa as consequências desse processo para a integração ensino-serviço. O estudo é descritivo e exploratório, tipo estudo de caso, com utilização de técnicas combinando abordagens de pesquisa quantitativa e qualitativa. Os resultados demonstram que o estado segue a tendência nacional ao priorizar a expansão do setor privado que em 2018 já detinha 94% do total das vagas. Apontam, ainda, para uma incipiente regulação pública sobre a autorização da abertura dos cursos de Enfermagem, a qual deveria estar adequada à capacidade da rede de Atenção Primária à Saúde, do que vem resultando intensa disputa entre Instituições de Ensino Superior públicas e privadas pela ocupação dos campos de prática. A ausência de diálogo e de planejamento integrado entre os setores da saúde e da educação e a falta de decisão política para a implementação de Contratos Organizativos de Ação Pública Ensino-Saúde, se associam em um efeito que corrói por dentro a necessária interinstitucionalidade proclamada pelas diretrizes da integração ensino-serviço. Abstract In Brazil, for more than three decades, higher education in Nursing has been subject to an intensive privatization process. This article analyzes the expansion of undergraduate nursing courses in the state of Pernambuco and the consequences of privatization for the teaching-service integration. It is a descriptive-exploratory case study that uses techniques which combine quantitative and qualitative research approaches. The findings show that the state follows the national trend by prioritizing the expansion of the private sector which in 2018 already held 94% of all vacancies. They also point to an incipient public regulation regarding authorization for the opening of nursing courses that should be adjusted to the capacity of the Primary Health Care network. This has resulted in an intense dispute between public and private Higher Education Institutions for training opportunities. The absence of dialogue and integrated planning between the health and education sectors, and the lack of political resolve to implement Organizational Contracts for Public Action in the Teaching-Health context, together produce an effect that corrodes from within the necessary interinstitutional cooperation proclaimed by the teaching-services integration guidelines. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of eugenol on the in vitro production of ovine embryos. Oocytes were aspirated and taken for in vitro maturation (IVM), where they were divided into 4 groups: the CON (control), in which the oocytes were immersed in medium without an antioxidant; in the EU10, EU20, EU40 groups, the same medium as in the COM group was used, supplemented with 10, 20, and 40 µM of eugenol, respectively. The degree of expansion of cumulus cells was evaluated. Subsequently, the oocytes underwent in vitro fertilization and in vitro culture, and at the end of this process, the rate of cleaved structures was assessed. Regarding the expansion rate of cumulus cells, the CON group exhibited higher rates compared to the groups supplemented with eugenol. Evaluating oocytes with fully expanded cumulus cells, only the EU40 group showed a lower rate when compared to the rest of the treatment groups. Whereas observing oocytes with partially expanded cumulus cells, the EU40 group showed higher expansion percentages compared to the other treatments. Concerning the presence of the first polar body in the oocytes, it was observed that there was no statistical difference between the treatment groups. Lastly, concerning the cleaved structures, the CON and EU10 groups showed the highest rates compared to the EU20 and EU40 groups. Thus, it was possible to conclude that the use of 10 µM of eugenol in the IVM of ovine oocytes proved to be the optimal concentration of this substance.

El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar el efecto del eugenol en la producción in vitro de embriones ovinos. Los ovocitos fueron aspirados y llevados para la maduración in vitro (MIV), donde se dividieron en 4 grupos: el CON (control), en el cual los ovocitos fueron sumergidos en medio sin antioxidantes; en los grupos EU10, EU20, EU40 se utilizó el mismo medio que en el grupo CON, pero con la adición de 10, 20 y 40 µM de eugenol, respectivamente. Se evaluó el grado de expansión de las células del cúmulo. Después de esto, los ovocitos fueron sometidos a la fecundación in vitro y al cultivo in vitro, y al final de este proceso se evaluó la tasa de estructuras clivadas. En cuanto a la tasa de expansión de las células del cúmulo, el grupo CON mostró tasas más altas en comparación con los grupos suplementados con eugenol. Al evaluar los ovocitos con células del cúmulo totalmente expandidas, solo el grupo EU40 mostró una tasa más baja en comparación con el resto de los grupos de tratamiento. Mientras que al observar los ovocitos con células del cúmulo parcialmente expandidas, el grupo EU40 mostró porcentajes de expansión más altos en comparación con los otros tratamientos. Respecto a la presencia del primer corpúsculo polar en los ovocitos, se observó que no hubo diferencia estadística entre los grupos de tratamiento. Por último, en relación con las estructuras clivadas, los grupos CON y EU10 mostraron las tasas más altas en comparación con los grupos EU20 y EU40. Por lo tanto, se pudo concluir que el uso de 10 µM de eugenol en la MIV de ovocitos ovinos resultó ser la concentración óptima de esta sustância.

Objetivando avaliar o efeito do eugenol na produção in vitro de embriões ovinos. Os oócitos, foram aspirados e levados para a maturação in vitro (MIV), onde foram divididos em 4 grupos: o CON (controle), no qual os oócitos foram imersos em meio, sem antioxidante, já nos grupos EU10, EU20, EU40 foi utilizado o mesmo meio do grupo CON, acrescido de 10, 20 e 40 µM de eugenol, respectivamente. Foi avaliado o grau de expansão das células do cumulus. Após isso, os oócitos seguiram para a fecundação in vitro e cultivo in vitro, sendo, ao final desse processo, avaliada a taxa de estruturas clivadas. Em relação à taxa de expansão das células do cumulus, o grupo CON apresentou maiores taxas, quando comparado aos grupos adicionados de eugenol. Avaliando os oócitos com células do cumulus totalmente expandidas, somente o grupo EU40, apresentou-se menor, quando comparado ao restante dos grupos de tratamento. Já observando os oócitos com células do cumulus parcialmente expandidas, o grupo EU40, apresentou maiores percentuais de expansão, quando comparado aos demais tratamentos. Sobre a presença do primeiro corpúsculo polar nos oócitos, observou-se que não houve diferença estatística entre os grupos de tratamentos. E, por último, em relação às estruturas clivadas, os grupos CON e EU10 apresentaram as maiores taxas, quando comparado aos grupos EU20 e EU40. Dessa maneira, foi possível concluir que a utilização de 10 µM de eugenol na MIV de oócitos ovinos apresentou ser a melhor concentração dessa substância.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of quercetin on the in vitro maturation (IVM) of oocytes and the subsequent in vitro fertilization (IVF) of ovine embryos. For this purpose, oocytes were collected and divided into the following treatment groups: control group, containing CON medium (control); and groups Q2, Q4, and Q8, with control medium supplemented with 2, 4, and 8 µM of quercetin, respectively. After IVM, the degree of cumulus cells expansion, presence of the first polar body (PB), and the other part of the oocytes proceeded to in vitro fertilization (IVF), where oocytes were incubated with spermatozoa for a period of 20 hours. Subsequently, the presumptive zygotes underwent in vitro culture (IVC) for 48 hours, and at the end of the process, the rate of cleaved structures was evaluated. The results were expressed in percentage and compared using the Chi-square test, with a significant difference considered when P<0.05. Evaluating the expansion of cumulus cells, the CON and Q2 groups showed the best expansion rates compared to the Q4 and Q8 groups. Regarding the presence of the 1st PB, it was observed that only the Q8 group exhibited lower rates compared to the control group. When evaluating the rate of cleaved structures, it was observed that the Q2 group showed a higher number compared to the Q8 group. Quercetin does not influence the maturation of ovine oocytes.

El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar el efecto de la quercetina en la maduración in vitro (MIV) de ovocitos y la posterior fertilización in vitro (FIV) de embriones ovinos. Para ello, se recolectaron y seleccionaron ovocitos divididos en los siguientes grupos de tratamiento: grupo control, que contenía medio CON (control); y los grupos Q2, Q4 y Q8, con medio control al que se le añadieron 2, 4 y 8 µM de quercetina, respectivamente. Tras la MIV se evaluó el grado de expansión de las células del cúmulo, la presencia del primer corpúsculo polar (CP) y la otra parte de los ovocitos se utilizó para la fecundación in vitro (FIV), donde los ovocitos fueron incubados con espermatozoides durante un período de 20 horas. Posteriormente, los presuntos cigotos pasaron a cultivo in vitro (CIV) durante 48 horas y, al final del proceso, se evaluó la tasa de estructuras clivadas. Los resultados se expresaron en porcentaje y se compararon utilizando la prueba de Chi-cuadrado, considerando una diferencia significativa cuando P<0,05. Al evaluar la expansión de las células del cúmulo, los grupos CON y Q2 mostraron las mejores tasas de expansión en comparación con los grupos Q4 y Q8. En cuanto a la presencia del 1er CP, se observó que solo el grupo Q8 mostró tasas más bajas en comparación con el grupo control. Al evaluar la tasa de estructuras clivadas, se observó que el grupo Q2 mostró un número mayor en comparación con el grupo Q8. La quercetina no influye en la maduración de ovocitos ovinos.

O objetivo do presente estudo foi avaliar o efeito da quercetina na MIV de oócitos e na subsequente PIV de embriões ovinos. Para isso, foram colhidos e selecionados oócitos divididos nos seguintes grupos de tratamento: grupo controle, contendo meio CON (controle); e grupos Q2, Q4 e Q8, com meio controle, acrescido de 2, 4 e 8 µM de quercetina, respectivamente. Após a MIV foi avaliado o grau de expansão das células do cumulus, presença do primeiro corpúsculo polar (CP) e a outra parte dos oócitos seguiu para a fecundação in vitro (FIV), onde os oócitos foram incubados com os espermatozoides, por um período de 20 h. Em seguida, os presumíveis zigotos seguiram para o cultivo in vitro (CIV), por um período de 48 h e, ao final do processo, foi avaliada a taxa de estruturas clivadas. Os resultados foram expressos em porcentagem e comparados, usando o Teste do Qui-quadrado e foi considerada diferença significativa quando P<0,05. Avaliando a expansão das células do cumulus, os grupos CON e Q2 apresentaram as melhores taxas de expansão, quando comparadas aos grupos Q4 e Q8. Quanto à presença do 1º CP, foi possível observar que somente o grupo Q8 apresentou taxas menores, quando comparado ao grupo controle. Já avaliando a taxa de estruturas clivadas, foi possível observar que o grupo Q2 apresentou maior número quando comparado ao grupo Q8. A quercetina não influencia na maturação de oócitos ovinos.

RESUMO A investigação problematizou os desafios decorrentes da expansão dos cursos de medicina públicos e privados no estado de Pernambuco, considerando os pressupostos da integração ensino-serviço no âmbito da rede especializada de saúde. O estudo é descritivo e exploratório, tipo estudo de caso, com utilização de técnicas combinando abordagens de pesquisa quantitativa e qualitativa. O processo de privatização no estado ocorreu mais lentamente do que no País. No ano 2000, existiam tão somente 290 vagas em duas instituições públicas. Em apenas duas décadas, atinge-se o total de 1.350 vagas, estando 1.130 delas localizadas no setor privado. A investigação destacou políticas e ações concernentes à centralidade programática da integração ensino-serviço, do que se sobressaíram a preocupação com o caráter descomedido da expansão dos cursos com repercussão imediata na alocação dos alunos nos campos de estágio e a falta de planejamento integrado entre o aparelho formador, os serviços de saúde e a gestão do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Assim, à intencionalidade do setor público de ordenar a presença crescente do setor privado no ensino médico não tem correspondido a disponibilidade de decisões políticas respeitantes à integração ensino-serviço, constituindo-se a não implementação do Contrato Organizativo de Ação Pública Ensino-Saúde (Coapes) um caso paradigmático.

ABSTRACT The research explored the challenges arising from the expansion of public and private medical courses in the state of Pernambuco, based on the premise of teaching-service integration within the specialized health network. The study is a descriptive-exploratory case study that uses techniques which combine quantitative and qualitative research approaches. The privatization process in the state took place at a slower pace than nationwide in the Country. In the year 2000, there were only 290 vacancies in two public institutions. In only two decades, a total of 1.350 have been reached, with 1.130 of them located in the private sector. The research highlighted policies and actions related to the programmatic centrality of teaching-service integration, from which the concern with the immoderate nature of the expansion of courses with immediate repercussion on the allocation of students to training vacancies and the lack of integrated planning between the educational apparatus, health services, and SUS (Unified Health System) management stood out. Thus, the intention of the public sector to bring order into the growing presence of the private sector in medical education has not been matched by political decision-making regarding teaching-service integration, turning the nonimplementation of the Public Health Action Organizational Contract (COAPES) into a paradigmatic case.

Abstract The access of People with Disabilities (PwD) to specialized care services was analyzed on the basis of the availability-accommodation and adequacy dimensions. This is a case study with a qualitative approach and triangulation of sources based on documentary research, data from the Health Information Systems and semi-structured interviews with managers, health professionals and PwD. There was an expansion of rehabilitation services in Recife, although it was not possible to analyze the production capacity of such services. The findings point to the existence of architectural and urban barriers and insufficient resources in the services studied. Furthermore, there is a long waiting time for specialized care and difficult access to assistive technologies. It was also observed that professionals have low qualifications to meet the needs of PwD and a process of permanent education in different levels of complexity has not been instituted for workers. The conclusion drawn is that the institution of the Municipal Policy of Comprehensive Health Care for the PwD was insufficient to guarantee access to health services with continuity of care, considering the permanence of the fragmentation of the care network, thus violating the right to health of this segment.

Resumo Analisou-se, a partir das dimensões disponibilidade-acomodação e adequação, o acesso das Pessoas com Deficiência (PcD) aos serviços de atenção especializada. Trata-se de estudo de caso de abordagem qualitativa com triangulação de fontes a partir de pesquisa documental, dados dos Sistemas de Informações em Saúde e entrevistas semiestruturadas com gestores, profissionais de saúde e PcD. Observou-se a ampliação de serviços de reabilitação no Recife, embora não tenha sido possível analisar a capacidade de produção de tais serviços. Os achados apontam para a existência de barreiras arquitetônicas e urbanísticas e insuficiência de recursos nos serviços estudados. Ademais, há um longo tempo de espera para atenção especializada e um difícil acesso às tecnologias assistivas. Pôde-se observar ainda que os profissionais têm baixa qualificação para atender às necessidades das PcD e não se tem instituído um processo de educação permanente para os trabalhadores dos diversos níveis de complexidade. Conclui-se que a instituição da Politica Municipal de Atenção Integral à Saúde da PcD não foi suficiente para garantir o acesso aos serviços de saúde com continuidade do cuidado, considerando a permanência da fragmentação da rede de atenção, ferindo, assim, o direito à saúde deste segmento.

Abstract Objective: To analyze the morphofunctional regeneration process of facial nerve injury in the presence of insulin-like growth factor-1 and mesenchymal stem cells. Methods: Fourteen Wistar rats suffered unilateral facial nerve crushing and were randomly divided into two groups. All received insulin-like growth factor-1 inoculation, but only half of the animals received an additional inoculation of mesenchymal stem cells. The animals were followed for 90 days and facial nerve regeneration was analyzed via spontaneous facial motor function tests and immunohistochemistry in the nerve motor nucleus. Results: The group that received the growth factor and stem cells showed a statistically superior mean in vibrissae movements (p<0.01), touch reflex (p = 0.05) and eye closure (p<0.01), in addition to better immunohistochemistry reactivity. There was a statistically significant difference in the mean number of cells in the facial nerve nucleus between the experimental groups (p = 0.025), with the group that received the growth factor and stem cells showing the highest mean. Conclusion: The association between growth factor and stem cells potentiates the morphofunctional regeneration of the facial nerve, occurring faster and more effectively. ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to assess seed health and the effect of plant extracts on Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vasinfectum mycelial growth and sporulation, plant pathogen reduction in seeds and fusariosis control in okra seedlings. Health was assessed by the Blotter Test, after immersing the seeds in natural extracts and plating. To verify the mycelial growth of the plant pathogen, the extracts were incorporated in PDA culture medium and the pathogen was added and assessed, including the spore count. In the greenhouse, the seeds were immersed in the extracts, sown and at 15 days they were sprayed with extracts, at 21 days inoculated with the pathogen and disease severity on the seedlings was assessed 7 days later. There were higher incidences of Fusarium sp. and Rhizopus stolonifer in the seeds of the cultivars Valença and Santa Cruz 47. The extracts that resulted in lower pathogen incidence was basil, in cv. Valença and cinnamon and neem, in cv. Santa Cruz 47. The neem treatment presented the best inhibition percentage and the lowest sporulation mean in mycelial growth of the pathogen. Abstract In the city of Recife, the first formulation of a health policy aimed at people with disabilities (PWD) took place 14 years after the publication of the National Policy. In this sense, the article has analyzed the process of formulating the Municipal Policy for Integrated Health Care for People with Disabilities in the city of Recife in 2016. Through a case study, the context, actors, content and process of policy formulation were studied through document analysis and interviews with managers, representatives of the Health Council and representative entities of PWD. The Policy studied was formulated in a macro context of social vulnerability accentuated by the 2015 coup and by severe fiscal austerity measures that have disproportionately impacted PWDs. In the micro context, the influence of the Human Rights area, municipal elections and the epidemic of the Congenital Syndrome by the Zika Virus was noticed, which revealed a care void. There was an incipient participation of PWDs, which are unaware of its content and rarely follow its implementation. Social participation is essential to meet the needs of PWDs, so it can be said that it is imperative to establish a dialogic relationship around the Policy and the challenges of its implementation.

Resumo Na cidade do Recife, a primeira formulação de uma política de saúde direcionada às pessoas com deficiência (PCD) ocorreu 14 anos após a publicação da Política Nacional. Nesse sentido, o artigo analisou o processo de formulação da Política Municipal de Atenção Integrada à Saúde da Pessoa com Deficiência da cidade do Recife em 2016. Por meio de um estudo de caso, foram estudados o contexto, atores, conteúdo e processo de formulação da política através da realização de análise documental e entrevistas com gestores, representantes do Conselho de Saúde e de entidades representativas da PCD. A Política estudada foi formulada em um macrocontexto de vulnerabilidade social acentuado pelo golpe de 2015 e por medidas severas de austeridade fiscal que têm impactado desproporcionalmente as PCD. No microcontexto, percebeu-se influência da área de Direitos Humanos, das eleições municipais e da epidemia da síndrome congênita pelo Zika vírus, que descortinou um vazio assistencial. Houve incipiente participação das PCD, que desconhecem seu conteúdo e pouco acompanham sua implementação. A participação social é fundamental para atender às necessidades das PCD, por isso, pode-se afirmar que é imperativo o estabelecimento de uma relação dialógica em torno da Política e dos desafios de sua implementação.
