Abstract Background: Tele-cardiology tools are valuable strategies to improve risk stratification. Objective: We aimed to evaluate the accuracy of tele-electrocardiography (ECG) to predict abnormalities in screening echocardiography (echo) in primary care (PC). Methods: In 17 months, 6 health providers at 16 PC units were trained on simplified handheld echo protocols. Tele-ECGs were recorded for final diagnosis by a cardiologist. Consented patients with major ECG abnormalities by the Minnesota code, and a 1:5 sample of normal individuals underwent clinical questionnaire and screening echo interpreted remotely. Major heart disease was defined as moderate/severe valve disease, ventricular dysfunction/hypertrophy, pericardial effusion, or wall-motion abnormalities. Association between major ECG and echo abnormalities was assessed by logistic regression as follows: 1) unadjusted model; 2) model 1 adjusted for age/sex; 3) model 2 plus risk factors (hypertension/diabetes); 4) model 3 plus history of cardiovascular disease (Chagas/rheumatic heart disease/ischemic heart disease/stroke/heart failure). P-values < 0.05 were considered significant. Results: A total 1,411 patients underwent echo; 1,149 (81%) had major ECG abnormalities. Median age was 67 (IQR 60 to 74) years, and 51.4% were male. Major ECG abnormalities were associated with a 2.4-fold chance of major heart disease on echo in bivariate analysis (OR = 2.42 [95% CI 1.76 to 3.39]), and remained significant after adjustments in models (p < 0.001) 2 (OR = 2.57 [95% CI 1.84 to 3.65]), model 3 (OR = 2.52 [95% CI 1.80 to3.58]), and model 4 (OR = 2.23 [95%CI 1.59 to 3.19]). Age, male sex, heart failure, and ischemic heart disease were also independent predictors of major heart disease on echo. Conclusions: Tele-ECG abnormalities increased the likelihood of major heart disease on screening echo, even after adjustments for demographic and clinical variables. Resumo Fundamento: As ferramentas de telecardiologia são estratégias valiosas para melhorar a estratificação de risco. Objetivo: Objetivamos avaliar a acurácia da tele-eletrocardiografia (ECG) para predizer anormalidades no ecocardiograma de rastreamento na atenção primária. Métodos: Em 17 meses, 6 profissionais de saúde em 16 unidades de atenção primária foram treinados em protocolos simplificados de ecocardiografia portátil. Tele-ECGs foram registrados para diagnóstico final por um cardiologista. Pacientes consentidos com anormalidades maiores no ECG pelo código de Minnesota e uma amostra 1:5 de indivíduos normais foram submetidos a um questionário clínico e ecocardiograma de rastreamento interpretado remotamente. A doença cardíaca grave foi definida como doença valvular moderada/grave, disfunção/hipertrofia ventricular, derrame pericárdico ou anormalidade da motilidade. A associação entre alterações maiores do ECG e anormalidades ecocardiográficas foi avaliada por regressão logística da seguinte forma: 1) modelo não ajustado; 2) modelo 1 ajustado por idade/sexo; 3) modelo 2 mais fatores de risco (hipertensão/diabetes); 4) modelo 3 mais história de doença cardiovascular (Chagas/cardiopatia reumática/cardiopatia isquêmica/AVC/insuficiência cardíaca). Foram considerados significativos valores de p < 0,05. Resultados: No total, 1.411 pacientes realizaram ecocardiograma, sendo 1.149 (81%) com anormalidades maiores no ECG. A idade mediana foi de 67 anos (intervalo interquartil de 60 a 74) e 51,4% eram do sexo masculino. As anormalidades maiores no ECG se associaram a uma chance 2,4 vezes maior de doença cardíaca grave no ecocardiograma de rastreamento na análise bivariada (OR = 2,42 [IC 95% 1,76 a 3,39]) e permaneceram significativas (p < 0,001) após ajustes no modelo 2 (OR = 2,57 [IC 95% 1,84 a 3,65]), modelo 3 (OR = 2,52 [IC 95% 1,80 a 3,58]) e modelo 4 (OR = 2,23 [IC 95% 1,59 a 3,19]). Idade, sexo masculino, insuficiência cardíaca e doença cardíaca isquêmica também foram preditores independentes de doença cardíaca grave no ecocardiograma. Conclusões: As anormalidades do tele-ECG aumentaram a probabilidade de doença cardíaca grave no ecocardiograma de rastreamento, mesmo após ajustes para variáveis demográficas e clínicas. ABSTRACT The large cattle production hubs in Brazil carry out the conduction of production through intensive grazing of pastures, promoting some degree of degradation. Agroforestry systems are considered a viable alternative for the recovery of degraded areas resulting from livestock production. However, the lack of knowledge about the benefits related this cultivation strategy may hinder the adoption of these systems. Thus, the objective was to interview four sectors of the society of São Félix do Xingu-PA to understand and verify the acceptance, contribution, knowledge, and desires for the implantation of a silvopastoral system in the region. For this research, questionnaires have been applied to different sectors of local society, higher-level academic sector, commerce sector represented by local entrepreneurs, the rural sector represented by farmers, and urban sector represented by members of the community in general. About the silvopastoral system, commerce had the highest percentage of ignorance (84.00%). To the benefits of the system, it found that there is a great lack of knowledge among citizens located in the urban area (88.89%). During actions carried out with urban systems, the questionnaires of the participating communities (96.33%) participated/reported were never published. As for the indication of the system, it was found that the sectors of commerce (100.00%), rural (82.61%), and academic (100.00%) are favorable to its implementation. Regarding the environmental benefits, the urban area (85.19%) wasn't known. And when talking about the highest economic returns from the system, respondents belonging to the commerce (84.00%) are unaware of these returns. It was concluded that most citizens are unaware of the system. RESUMO Os grandes polos de produção bovina no Brasil realizam a condução da produção, por meio do pastoreio intensivo das pastagens, promovendo algum grau de degradação. Os sistemas agroflorestais são considerados alternativa viável para a recuperação de áreas degradadas, decorrentes da produção de gado, no entanto, a falta de conhecimento sobre os benefícios relacionados a esta estratégia de cultivo pode dificultar a adoção destes sistemas. Assim, objetivou-se entrevistar quatro setores da sociedade de São Félix do Xingu-PA para compreender e constatar a aceitação, contribuição, conhecimento e anseios para a implantação de sistema silvipastoril na região. Para esta pesquisa, aplicaram-se questionários em diferentes setores da sociedade local, setor acadêmico de nível superior, setor de comércio representado pelos empresários locais, setor da zona rural representado pelos agricultores e setor da zona urbana representado por membros da comunidade em geral. Sobre o sistema silvipastoril, o comércio apresentou maior porcentagem de desconhecimento (84,00%). Em relação aos benefícios do sistema, constatou-se que há um desconhecimento maior dos munícipes situados na zona urbana (88,89%). Ao questionar sobre ações realizadas com os sistemas silvipastoris, constatou-se que os munícipes da zona urbana (96,30%) nunca participaram das mesmas. Quanto à indicação do sistema, constatou que os setores do comércio (100,00%), zona rural (82,61%) e acadêmico (100,00%) são favoráveis à sua implantação. Sobre os benefícios ambientais, a zona urbana (85,19%) apresentou desconhecimento. E ao falar dos maiores retornos econômicos advindos do sistema, os entrevistados pertencentes ao comércio (84,00%) desconhecem esses retornos. Abstract Based on data produced through digital ethnography, we analyze how the interaction in a Brazilian blog allowed the production of subjectivities and agency services mediated by biomedical scientific practices directed to HIV/AIDS. The narratives highlighted scientific dissemination, sharing of information and experiences as elements in the processes of normalization and enhancement of life with HIV/AIDS. In addition, the study unveiled the access and sharing of biomedical and scientific information on the blog as a facilitator in the production and development of expert patients and the pharmaceuticalization of life as a consequence of the experience of living with HIV/AIDS.

Resumo A partir de dados produzidos por meio de etnografia digital, analisamos como a interação em um blogue brasileiro permitia a produção de subjetividades e de agenciamentos mediados pelas práticas científicas biomédicas dirigidas ao HIV/aids. As narrativas sinalizaram a divulgação científica, o compartilhamento de informações e de experiências como elementos nos processos de normalização e aprimoramento da vida com o HIV/aids. Além disso, o estudo desvelou o acesso e o compartilhamento de informações biomédicas e científicas como facilitadores na produção e no desenvolvimento de pacientes especialistas e a farmaceuticalização da vida como uma consequência da experiência de viver com o HIV/aids.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Surface treatment is an important technique to increase adhesion between implants and bones, improving its mechanical characteristics and consequently the patient’s comfort. Objectives: Ni-Cr alloys were the object of study in this work, with the purpose of analyzing and evaluating the effect of thin films deposition of titanium nitride via plasma, on its surface and comparing with cathodic cage (CC) and hollow cathode (HC) methods, for dental applications. Methods: Eighteen samples were prepared and the experiment was conducted in two steps: the pre-sputtering (1h, 350 °C, gases: Ar and H) and sputtering (4h, 450 °C, gases: Ar, Ni, and H). To characterize and compare the samples with those of reference, the Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Vickers Microhardness and wettability tests were used. Results: The results presented by SEM showed that during the surface treatment using CC, voids were formed, and using HC, the samples showed a more homogenous behavior. In microhardness tests, using a 25gf load, it was possible to observe that the HC method allowed an increase of 87% when compared to the reference and treated samples. Significance: Lastly, it can be concluded that both methods are suitable for Ni-Cr alloy surface treatment, and the HC technique, a method already used by dental professionals, presents better results due to the formation of a thicker film layer. ABSTRACT Objectives: Currently, not much is known about the interactions between voice and growth hormone (GH). We have described large kindred with isolated GH deficiency (IGHD) due to a GHRH receptor mutation, resulting in severe short stature and high-pitched voice. These IGHD individuals have little interest in GH treatment, as they consider themselves “short long-lived people”, rather than patients. Interestingly, they report normal general quality of life, but they rate their Voice-Related Quality of Life (V-RQOL) as low. Here, we assessed the social and auditory-perceptual impacts of artistic-intervention voice therapy with semioccluded vocal tract exercises (SOVTE) and choral singing, on their voices. Material and methods: Seventeen GH-naïve adult IGHD individuals were enrolled in a single-arm interventional pre-post study with 13 weekly sessions of choir singing over 90 days. Outcome measures were V-RQOL scores, self-assessment of voice, and auditory-perceptual analysis (GRBAS scale, G: grade of the severity of dysphonia; R: roughness; B: breathiness; A: asthenia; and S: strain). Results: Marked improvements in total (p = 0.0001), physical (p = 0.0002), and socioemotional (p = 0.0001) V-RQOL scores and in self-assessment of voice (p = 0.004) were found. The general grades of vocal deviation (p = 0.0001), roughness (p = 0.0001), breathiness (p = 0.0001) and strain (p = 0.0001) exhibited accentuated reductions. Conclusions: Voice therapy with semioccluded vocal tract exercises and choral training improved social impact and perceptual voice assessments in IGHD subjects and markedly improved their voice-related quality of life. This is particularly important in a setting where GH replacement therapy is not widely accepted.

Esta pesquisa qualitativa objetivou compreender as relações entre acesso a serviços de saúde e experiências de sofrimento social entre pessoas trans. Foram conduzidas entrevistas semiestruturadas com cinco interlocutores e observações participantes. Os dados foram analisados por meio da codificação temática, originando duas categorias: “A negação do nome” e “Acesso à saúde e transfobia institucionalizada no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS)”. As narrativas das/os interlocutores permitiram localizar tais relações na sociogênese de experiências de sofrimento social. A negação do nome implica negação da humanidade da pessoa trans, bem como patologização de sua identidade e prejuízos no acesso à saúde, colocando a automedicação como uma possibilidade de agência. Concluiu-se que a transfobia institucionalizada no setor de saúde reproduz a precarização da cidadania de pessoas trans, destacando quanto a ação estatal com vistas a mitigar o sofrimento social pode, por vezes, intensificá-lo.

The aim of this qualitative study was to understand the relationships between access to health services and experiences of social suffering among trans people. We conducted semi-structured interviews with five participants and participant observation. The data were analyzed using thematic coding, giving rise to two categories: “Name denial” and “Access to health care and institutionalized transphobia in Brazilian National Health System”. The participants’ narratives allowed the researchers to situate these relationships within the sociogenesis of social suffering experiences. Name denial implies the negation of the humanity of trans people and pathologization of their identity, and compromises access to health care, making self-medication a possibility of agency. We conclude that institutionalized transphobia in the public health care system reproduces the precariousness of the citizenship of trans people, highlighting how government actions aimed at mitigating social suffering can sometimes intensify it.

Esta investigación cualitativa tuvo el objetivo de comprender las relaciones entre acceso a servicios de salud y experiencias de sufrimiento social entre personas trans. Se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas con cinco interlocutores y observaciones participantes. Los datos se analizaron por medio de la codificación temática originando dos categorías: “La negación del nombre” y “Acceso a la salud y transfobia institucionalizada en el Sistema Único de Salud”. Las narrativas de los interlocutores permitieron localizar tales relaciones en la sociogénesis de experiencias de sufrimiento social. La negación del nombre implica la negación de la humanidad de la persona trans, así como la patologización de su identidad y prejuicios en el acceso a la salud, planteando la automedicación como una posibilidad de agencia. Se concluyó que la transfobia institucionalizada en el sector de la salud reproduce la precarización de la ciudadanía de personas trans, destacando hasta qué punto la acción estatal dirigida a mitigar el sufrimiento social puede, algunas veces, intensificarlo.

ABSTRACT Symptoms in post-COVID-19 patients who require hospitalization can persist for months, significantly affecting their health-related quality of life (HRQoL). Thus, the present study aimed to discuss the main findings regarding HRQoL in post-COVID-19 patients who required hospitalization. An electronic search was performed in the MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, Web of Science, LILACS, and Scopus databases, without date and language restrictions, until July 2021. Twenty-four articles were included in the analysis. It seems that HRQoL partially improved soon after hospital discharge, although the negative impact on HRQoL may persist for months. The physical and mental aspects are affected because patients report pain, discomfort, anxiety, and depression. The HRQoL of COVID-19 infected patients was worse than that of uninfected patients. Additionally, HRQoL seemed worse in patients admitted to the intensive care unit than in those who remained in the ward. Improvements in HRQoL after hospital discharge are independent of imaging improvement, and there seems to be no association between HRQoL after hospital discharge and disease severity on hospital admission. Many factors have been identified as determinants of HRQoL, with women and advanced age being the most related to worse HRQOL, followed by the duration of invasive mechanical ventilation and the need for intensive care. Other factors included the presence and number of comorbidities, lower forced vital capacity, high body mass index, smoking history, undergraduate education, and unemployment. In conclusion, these findings may aid in clinical management and should be considered in the aftercare of patients.

RESUMO Objetivos: Desenvolver e disponibilizar, gratuitamente, ferramentas de tecnologia da informação e comunicação (TIC) para a Odontologia, abordando informações e orientações direcionadas a pacientes em tratamento ortodôntico com aparelho fixo. Material e Métodos: Foi elaborado um conteúdo que contemplou informações e orientações concernentes ao tratamento ortodôntico com aparelho fixo. O material, que abrangeu instruções sobre higiene bucal e sobre abordagens diante de possíveis intercorrências, foi avaliado e validado por especialistas. A partir do conteúdo validado, foram elaborados produtos utilizando quatro ferramentas distintas de TIC. Resultados: Foram desenvolvidos os seguintes produtos tecnológicos: um programa para rádios comunitárias, três postagens para blog, quatro vídeos educacionais e informativos, e um aplicativo para smartphones, utilizando não apenas textos, mas também imagens e vídeos. Essas ferramentas de TIC direcionadas a pacientes fazendo uso de aparelho ortodôntico fixo foram disponibilizadas gratuitamente via internet, e já contam com expressivo número de acessos. Conclusões: As ferramentas técnico-científicas, desenvolvidas e fornecidas livremente à população, podem auxiliar pacientes durante o tratamento com aparelho ortodôntico fixo, contribuir para disseminar informações confiáveis e esclarecer dúvidas que surgem durante a terapia ortodôntica. Essas ferramentas gratuitas de TIC facilitam o acesso ao conhecimento científico e, consequentemente, favorecem a inserção social, tendo em vista que esse material educacional e informativo foi ofertado de maneira simples e acessível à população.

ABSTRACT Objective: To develop and make available, at no cost to the user, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) tools for Dentistry, providing dental information and advice geared toward patients undergoing orthodontic treatment with fixed appliances. Material and Methods: A Dentistry-based content that contemplated information and advice concerning orthodontic treatment with fixed appliances was elaborated. The materials, which included instructions on oral hygiene and treatment strategies when faced with possible complications, were evaluated and validated by specialists, whose assessments reached a 85% approval. From the validated content, products using four distinct ICT tools were formulated. Results: The following technological products were developed: a program for community radios, three blog posts, four educational and informative videos, and a smartphone application - using texts, as well as images and videos. These ICT tools, geared toward patients wearing fixed orthodontic appliances, were made available by internet at no cost to the user, and the number of accesses is already expressive. Conclusion: These technological-scientific tools, developed and provided freely to the population, can aid patients during their treatment with fixed orthodontic appliances, contributing to the dissemination of reliable information, and clarifying doubts that may arise during orthodontic therapy. These free ICT tools serve to facilitate access to scientific knowledge, thereby favoring social inclusion, bearing in mind that this educational and informative material was offered in a simple and accessible manner to the general population.

Abstract An adequate amount of soil organic matter is considered essential for long-term sustainable agriculture, ensuring good productivity. Therefore, the present study quantified carbon and nitrogen stocks and microbiological activity in soil of three different areas: Forest-pasture System, Pasture System and preserved Caatinga - used as a reference of the experiment - located in a semi-arid region, in Watershed of Pajeú River, state of Pernambuco, Brazil. Eight trenches were opened in each system to collect soil samples at depths of 0 - 10, 20 - 30 and 50 - 60 cm, for chemical and microbiological analysis. In general, attributes of soil showed better results of land use in the following order: preserved Caatinga - Forest-pasture System - Pasture System.

RESUMO Introdução: As fraturas expostas, apesar de pouco comuns, têm custos que superam todos os outros motivos das internações. Sua epidemiologia é de fundamental importância para planejar o tratamento e definir prioridades. Objetivos: Avaliar prospectivamente o perfil epidemiológico das fraturas expostas e o grau de satisfação do atendimento inicial. Métodos: Estudo epidemiológico, prospectivo, descritivo, observacional, em amostra de conveniência das fraturas expostas. Avaliaram-se aspectos epidemiológicos quantitativos e qualitativos das fraturas expostas e o grau de satisfação com o atendimento inicial. Resultados: Foram atendidos 124 pacientes com 155 fraturas expostas. Desses, 88% eram do sexo masculino com média de idade 43 anos (± 42,99); não branco (56,72%); casado (52,41%); com baixo nível de instrução (51,60%); agricultor, autônomo, pedreiro ou industriário (51,60%); com ganho mensal de até dois salários-mínimos (87%); hígidos (76,13%); vítimas de acidentes trabalhistas (39,51%) nos ossos das mãos (58,02%); especialmente do lado esquerdo (55%); atendidos entre quinta-feira e sábado (50%); no período diurno (77%). Esses pacientes mostraram elevado nível de satisfação com o atendimento inicial realizado (98%). Conclusões: As fraturas expostas se relacionaram com homens hígidos, em torno de 43 anos, baixo grau de instrução e baixa renda, nos membros superiores, no período diurno de quinta a sábado. A maioria ficou satisfeita com o atendimento prestado. Nível de Evidência II, Estudo Epidemiológico, Prospectivo, Descritivo e Observacional.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Open fractures, although uncommon, with trauma have costs that exceed all other reasons for hospitalizations. Its epidemiology has fundamental importance to plan treatment and define priorities. Objective: To assess prospectively the epidemiological profile of open fractures and the degree of satisfaction with initial care. Methods: Epidemiological, prospective, descriptive, observational study was carried out in a convenience sample of open fractures. Quantitative, qualitative, and epidemiological aspects regarding open fractures were evaluated, as well as the degree of satisfaction with the initial care. Results: 124 patients treated with 155 open fractures. 88% were male; mean age 43 years (± 42.99); non-white (56.72%); married (52.41%); low level of education (51.60%); farmer, self-employed, bricklayer, industrialist (51.60%); with monthly earnings of up to 2 minimum wages (87%); healthy (76.13%); victims of labor accidents (39.51%) in bones of the hands (58.02%); 55% on the left side; attended between Thursday to Saturday (50%); work shift 6 a.m.-6 p.m. (77%). There was high level of satisfaction with the initial care provided (98%). Conclusion: Open fractures were related to healthy men, 43 years old, low education and low income, predominant in upper limbs, at 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., from Thursday to Saturday. Most were satisfied with the service provided. Level of Evidence II, Epidemiological, prospective, descriptive, observational study.

RESUMO Introdução: A diminuição da atividade física tem sido associada à piora da saúde mental e é motivo de preocupação durante a pandemia de COVID-19. Objetivo: Comparar grupos de estudantes de medicina (EM) que praticam diferentes níveis de atividade física moderada e vigorosa (AFMV) durante a pandemia de COVID-19, com relação aos sintomas de ansiedade e depressão (BAI-BDI), qualidade do sono (PSQI), e atividade física (AF) - leve, moderada, vigorosa (AFL, AFM, AFV) e comportamento sedentário (CS). Métodos: Esta pesquisa com desenho transversal avaliou 218 EM. Os dados das características dos EM foram coletados por meio de formulários on-line: AF, CS, BAI, BDI e PSQI. Para as análises estatísticas, utilizou-se odds ratio (OR) para a presença de sintomas elevados de ansiedade e depressão e má qualidade do sono de EM e AFMV. O D de Cohen (tamanho do efeito, TE) e o intervalo de confiança (IC de 95%), teste de Mann-Whitney: baixa MVPA (mediana = 0 minuto) e alta MVPA (Mediana = 390 minutos) foram registrados. Resultados: Encontramos um pequeno TE para sintomas de depressão (TE 0,26; IC de 95%; 0,00-0,53; p = 0,029) e diferenças significativas (p < 0,05) para sintomas de ansiedade (TE 0,17; IC de 95%; 0,09-0,44; p = 0,037). Também houve tendência de significância para o comportamento sedentário nos dias de semana (TE 0,27; IC de 95%; 0,00-0,53; p = 0,051). A OR para MVPA e a presença de sintomas de ansiedade elevada foi de 0,407 (IC de 95% = 0,228-0,724). Conclusões: Os EM que praticavam maior MVPA apresentaram menos sintomas de ansiedade e depressão durante a pandemia de COVID-19. Nível de evidência III; Estudo de caso-controle.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Decreased physical activity has been associated with poorer mental health and is a cause for concern during the COVID-19 pandemic. Objective: To compare groups of medical students (MS) who practiced different levels of moderate and vigorous physical activity (MVPA) during the COVID-19 pandemic, in relation to symptoms of anxiety and depression (BAI-BDI), sleep quality (PSQI), and physical activity (PA) - light, moderate, vigorous (LPA-MPA and VPA), and sedentary behavior (SB). Methods: This research is a cross-sectional study involving 218 MS. Data on the characteristics of the MS were collected through online forms: PA, SB, BAI, BDI, and PSQI. The Cohen's D (Effect Size - ES) and confidence interval (95% CI), Mann-Whitney test: Lower MVPA (Median=0 minute) and Higher MVPA (Median=390 minutes) were recorded. For the statistical analyses, we used: the Odds ratio (OR) for the presence of symptoms of high levels of anxiety and depression and poor sleep quality in the MS and MVPA. Results: We found a small ES for symptoms of depression (ES 0.26 95% CI 0.00 0.53 p=0.029), and significant differences (p<0.05) for symptoms of anxiety (ES 0.17 95% CI −0.09 0.44 p=0.037). There was also a significant tendency for sedentary behavior on weekdays (ES 0.27 95% CI 0.00 0.53 p = 0.051). The OR for MVPA and the presence of symptoms of high levels of anxiety was 0.407 (95% CI = 0.228 to 0.724). Conclusions: the MS who practiced higher MVPA presented less symptoms of anxiety and depression during the COVID-19 pandemic. Level of evidence III; Case-control study.

RESUMEN Introducción: La disminución de la actividad física se ha asociado con un empeoramiento de la salud mental y es motivo de preocupación durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Objetivo: Comparar grupos de estudiantes de medicina (EM) con diferentes momentos de actividad física moderada y vigorosa (AFMV) durante la pandemia COVID-19, en relación a los síntomas de ansiedad y depresión (BAI-BDI), calidad de sueño (PSQI) y actividad física (AF) - comportamiento leve, moderado, vigoroso (LPA-MPA y VPA) y sedentario (SB). Métodos: Esta encuesta transversal evaluó 218 EM. Los datos se recogieron mediante formularios online sobre las características del grupo PA, SB, BAI, BDI y PSQI. D de Cohen (ES) y el intervalo de confianza (IC del 95%), prueba de Mann-Whitney: AFMV baja (mediana = 0 minutos) y AFMV (mediana = 390 minutos); En el análisis estadístico se utilizó la razón de probabilidades (OR) para la presencia de síntomas de ansiedad alta y síntomas depresivos, la mala calidad del sueño de la EM y la MVPA. Resultados: Una pequeña EE para síntomas de depresión (ES 0.26 IC 95% 0.00 0.53 p = 0.029) y diferencias significativas (p <0.05) para síntomas de ansiedad (ES 0.17 IC 95% −0, 09 0.44 p = 0.037). Se verificó tendencia de significancia para el día de la semana SB (ES 0.27 IC 95% 0.00 0.53 p = 0.051). Se verificó la OR para AFMV y la presencia de síntomas de alta ansiedad de 0,407 (IC del 95% = 0,228 a 0,724). Conclusiones: La EM con un AFMV más alto tiene menos síntomas de ansiedad y síntomas de depresión durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Nivel de evidencia III; Estudio de casos y controles.
