ABSTRACT Dependence on external raw materials, the high cost of fertilizers, and the search for more sustainable alternatives have encouraged research with remineralizers. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of adding remineralizers associated or not with a bioactivator on pH, H+Al, Al, P, and K in two soils after four incubation times. A completely randomized experimental design was used in a 5 x 2 x 2 x 2 factorial scheme, as follows: doses of remineralizers (0, 2, 4, 8, and 16 Mg ha-1), bioactivator (with and without application), type of remineralizer (basalt and serpentinite), and soil class (Oxisol and Entisol), with four replications. The soils were incubated for 30, 90, 120, and 240 days after the treatment applications. The samples were submitted to pH, Al, H+Al, P, and K analyses at the end of each incubation period. The use of increasing doses of remineralizers favored an increase in pH, P, and K and a reduction in Al and H+Al in the studied soils. Serpentinite powder was more efficient in neutralizing soil acidity, while basalt powder was more efficient in providing P and K to soils. The bioactivator reduced the reaction time of the remineralizers and favored the increase in K availability.

RESUMO A dependência de matérias-primas externas, o alto custo dos fertilizantes e a busca por alternativas mais sustentáveis têm incentivado a pesquisa com remineralizadores. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o efeito da adição de remineralizadores, associados ou não ao bioativador, sobre o pH, H+Al, Al, P e K em dois solos, após quatro períodos de incubação. Utilizou-se delineamento experimental inteiramente casualizado, em esquema fatorial 5 × 2 × 2 × 2, sendo: doses de remineralizadores (0, 2, 4, 8 e 16 Mg ha-1), bioativador (com e sem aplicação), tipo de remineralizador (basalto e serpentinito) e classe de solo (Latossolo Vermelho e Neossolo), com quatro repetições. Após a aplicação dos tratamentos, os solos foram incubados por 30, 90, 120 e 240 dias. Ao final de cada período de incubação, as amostras foram submetidas as análises de pH, Al, H+Al, P e K. A utilização de doses crescentes dos remineralizadores favoreceu o aumento do pH, P e K e redução do Al e H+Al nos solos estudados. O pó de serpentinito apresentou maior eficiência para a neutralização da acidez dos solos, enquanto o pó de basalto apresentou maior eficiência para fornecer P e K para os solos. O bioativo reduziu o tempo de reação dos remineralizadores e favoreceu o aumento da disponibilidade de K.

RESUMO OBJETIVO Estimar a associação entre a autopercepção negativa da audição e a depressão em idosos do sul do Brasil. MÉTODOS Trata-se de um estudo transversal realizado com dados da terceira onda do estudo EpiFloripa Idoso 2017/19, de coorte de base populacional de idosos (60+). Participaram desta onda 1.335 idosos. A variável dependente foi a depressão autorreferida e a exposição principal foi a autopercepção auditiva (negativa; positiva). Tanto para a análise bruta (bivariada) quanto para a ajustada, a odds ratio (OR) foi utilizada como medida de associação e estimada por meio da análise de Regressão Logística Binária. A variável de exposição foi ajustada pelas covariáveis sociodemográficas e de saúde. Adotou-se o valor de p < 0,05 como estatisticamente significativo. RESULTADOS A prevalência da autopercepção negativa da audição e depressão foi de 26,0% e 21,8%, respectivamente. Na análise ajustada, idosos com autopercepção negativa da audição apresentaram 1,96 vezes mais chance de referirem depressão quando comparados aos idosos com autopercepção positiva da audição (p = 0,002). CONCLUSÃO A associação encontrada entre a autopercepção negativa auditiva e a depressão reflete a importância de rever as ações de atenção à saúde do idoso, incorporando questões relacionadas à audição para a garantia da atenção integral a esta parcela crescente da população.

ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE To estimate the association between negative self-perception of hearing and depression in older adults in Southern Brazil. METHODS This is a cross-sectional study conducted with data from the third wave of the EpiFloripa Idoso 2017/19 study, a population-based cohort of older adults (60+). A total of 1,335 older adults participated in this wave. The dependent variable was self-reported depression, and the main exposure was self-perception of hearing (negative; positive). For both the crude (bivariate) and adjusted analysis, the odds ratio (OR) was used as a measure of association and estimated by means of binary logistic regression analysis. The exposure variable was adjusted by sociodemographic and health covariates. A p value < 0.05 was adopted as statistically significant. RESULTS The prevalence of negative self-perception of hearing and depression was 26.0% and 21.8%, respectively. In the adjusted analysis, the older adults with negative self-perception of hearing were 1.96 times more likely to report depression when compared to the ones with positive self-perception of hearing (p = 0.002). CONCLUSION The association between negative self-perception of hearing and depression reflects the importance of reviewing health care actions for older adults, incorporating hearing-related issues, to ensure comprehensive care for this growing segment of the population.

Cytological grading of canine mast cell tumors: correlation with histologic grading and survival time

ABSTRACT: Mast cell tumors are one of the most common neoplasia in dogs and cytopathology and/or histopathology examinations are used for diagnosis. Histologic grading is considered the gold standard test to predict the prognosis of this neoplasia. However, studies have been conducted using the cytological grading system to provide similar information in a faster, less invasive, and more accessible way. This study aimed to investigate cytological graduation and correlate it with histological grading and the survival time of dogs diagnosed with cutaneous mast cell tumors at the Veterinary Hospital of “Universidade Federal de Uberlândia” over five years. For that, cytological and histological slides from 72 animals were reviewed. The statistical methods used were the kappa test for agreement between grading systems, the Kaplan-Meier for survival time, Cox regression for comparison of cytological and histological grades and survival time. The cytological grading when compared to the two-tier histologic grading, high and low grades, had a moderate agreement (kappa 0.566). When the correlation between survival time and the cytological grade was evaluated, there was a higher death rate in the group with high-grade mast cell tumors compared to low grade, pointing to a correlation between survival time and cytological grade (p=0.009). In conclusion, the cytological grade is useful to treatment planning and providing prognostic information that precedes tumor removal, showing a good correlation with the two-tier histologic grading and with the survival time of the animals.

RESUMO: O mastocitoma é uma das neoplasias cutâneas mais comum nos cães e os exames citopatológicos e/ou histopatológicos são utilizados para diagnóstico. A graduação histológica é considerada padrão ouro para prever o prognóstico dessa neoplasia. Contudo, estudos têm sido realizados visando utilizar graduação citológica para fornecer informações semelhantes de maneira rápida, menos invasiva e mais acessível. Esse trabalho objetivou realizar graduação citológica e correlacionar com as graduações histológicas e com a sobrevida de cães diagnosticados com mastocitoma cutâneo no Hospital Veterinário da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia durante 5 anos. Para isso, lâminas de citologia e histologia de mastocitomas de 72 animais foram revisadas. Os métodos estatísticos utilizados foram teste kappa para concordância entre os sistemas de graduação, método Kaplan-Meier para tempo de sobrevida dos animais, e análise pela regressão de Cox para comparação do grau citológico e grau histológico e o tempo de sobrevida global. A graduação citológica quando comparada com a histológica de dois níveis, alto grau e baixo grau, obteve uma concordância moderada (kappa 0,566). Na avaliação da correlação entre sobrevida e grau citológico, houve maior taxa de óbito no grupo de cães com mastocitoma de alto grau, comparado aos de baixo grau, sendo observada correlação entre a sobrevida e o grau citológico (p=0,009). Esse estudo concluiu que o grau citológico é útil para o planejamento do tratamento e para fornecer informações prognósticas que antecedem a exérese do tumor, tendo boa correlação com a graduação histológica de dois níveis e com a sobrevida dos animais.

Electrospinning was used to produce poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)-based nanofibers containing nerolidol (NER) as the antimicrobial agent. The scanning electron microscopy results indicated the formation of homogeneous fibers in the absence of NER. However, its incorporation into the fiber prevented the complete solvent evaporation, ultimately leading to the coalescence of the fibers. It became more evident as the amount of NER increased from 0 to 50% m/v. The incorporation of NER also decreased the crystallinity of the fibers from 10 to ca. 6.5%. However, this decrease was not proportional to the concentration of NER. The contact angle results confirmed the presence of NER molecules on the surface of the fibers especially due to the increase of the contact angle from 0 (PVA/NER0) to 27.8º (PVA/NER50). The fibrous mats exhibited good antimicrobial activity, being even more efficient than the control in some cases, suggesting their potential for wound-dressing purposes.

Abstract The present study analyzes the relationship between people and plants in the caatinga region of Northeastern Brazil, considering the influence of socio-economic factors on different categories of plant use in the community. Thus, it aims to associate socio-economic factors and knowledge in the use dynamics of medicinal, food and timber plants in Brejo da Conceição community, Currais, Piaui, Brazil. The data set was obtained through semi-structured interviews, interviewing one-hundred-one persons: 46 women and 55 men. A generalized linear model analyzed socio-economic factors influencing the knowledge of plants, built using Poisson distribution and having as explanatory variable age, gender, number of residents in household and education; as a response variable, the number of plants cited per respondent. To better understand the distribution of plants in use categories, we verified which species are the most important locally and, for that, we calculated the plants’ Cultural Importance Index and Relative Importance Index. The interviewees cited 126 plant species. Among these species, 74 were native, and 52 were naturalized. Overlapping the categories of use, the most prominent species in the categories medicinal and food, according to the indices of cultural importance (CI) and relative importance (RII), were the buriti palm tree (Mauritia flexuosa L.f.), orange (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck) and cashew (Anacardium occidentale L.). For the overlap of medicinal and timber uses, catinga de porco stood out (Terminalia brasiliensis (Cambess.) Eichler) and birro de cangalha (Diplopterys sp.). The lemon balm herb stood out as its medical use (Lippia alba (Mill.) N.E.Br. ex Britton & P.Wilson). Just the number of residents and gender factors influenced the plants’ knowledge of Brejo da Conceição in medicinal use, food and wood resources. Given the complexity of current discussions that guide related to these characteristics, the proposed results can serve as a reference for future research that incorporates more aspects of local ecological knowledge, including analyzing other essential variables that shape the distribution of knowledge in the distinct categories of use.

Abstract This article reflects on the dynamics of relations between representation and representativeness based on the analysis of the visual composition of the character Rose Maxson in Fences (2016), by August Wilson. It is a partial result of a documentary research that examined the visual elements — hair, makeup and costumes — that express the idea of femininity and bring materiality to the black female character of Fences, both in the text of the play and in its adaptation to cinema, describing similarities, differences and possible absences of visuality description, analyzing the collected content according to the concept of Controlling Images, developed by Patricia Hill Collins. The study explores a field of articulation between language and culture, focusing on how textual and audiovisual productions construct the images of black female characters. It thus to problematizes the relations between the cultural industry and the reinforcement of social places assigned to racialized bodies.

Resumo Este artigo busca refletir sobre dinâmicas de relações entre representação e representatividade a partir da análise da composição visual da personagem Rose Maxson em Fences (2016), de August Wilson. As reflexões têm origem em pesquisa documental que examinou os elementos visuais — cabelo, maquiagem e figurino — que expressam a ideia de feminilidade e materializam a personagem, tanto no texto da peça teatral quanto em sua adaptação para o cinema, descrevendo semelhanças, diferenças e possíveis ausências de descrição de visualidade, analisando o conteúdo coletado segundo o conceito de Imagens de Controle, desenvolvido por Patricia Hill Collins. O estudo explora um campo de articulação entre linguagem e cultura, com foco em como produções textuais e audiovisuais constroem as imagens de personagens femininas negras, de forma a problematizar as relações entre a indústria cultural e o reforço de lugares sociais destinados a corpos racializados.

ABSTRACT Introduction: In healthy individuals and in patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), the curvature of the cervical spine varies greatly, with approximately 36-40% of AIS patients having kyphosis of the cervical spine. Aim: To assess the curvature of the cervical spine in AIS patients and subgroups according to Lenke’s classification (1 to 6). Methods: 107 patients with AIS were assessed for cervical lordosis (C2-C7) using the Cobb method, subdivided into lordosis and cervical kyphosis. The following parameters were assessed and compared between the subgroups: T5-T12 thoracic kyphosis (TK); L1-S1 lumbar lordosis (LL), pelvic incidence (PI), sagittal vertical axis (SVA), T1 pelvic angle (TPA), C2-C7 cervical lordosis, C1-C2 cervical lordosis, T1 slope (T1s), neck tilt, thoracic inlet angle (TIA) and cervical sagittal axis (CSVA). Results: Kyphosis of the cervical spine was observed in 48% of patients. The Lenke classification curves (1 to 6) showed no difference with regard to the curvature of the cervical spine. In the subgroup with cervical lordosis, thoracic kyphosis, and T1 slope were significantly higher. Neck tilt was significantly higher in the subgroup with kyphosis. Conclusions: Almost half of the patients have kyphosis of the cervical spine, and the curvature of the cervical spine in AIS patients varies widely. Thoracic kyphosis, T1 slope, and neck tilt are significantly different between the subgroups of patients with lordosis or kyphosis. Level of Evidence III; Observational and Retrospective Study.

RESUMEN Introducción: En individuos sanos y en pacientes con escoliosis idiopática del adolescente (EIA), la curvatura de la columna cervical varía enormemente, y aproximadamente el 36-40% de los pacientes con EIA presentan cifosis de la columna cervical. Objetivo: Evaluar la curvatura de la columna cervical en pacientes con EIA y subgrupos según la clasificación de Lenke (1 a 6). Métodos: Se evaluó la lordosis cervical (C2-C7) de 107 pacientes con EIA mediante el método de Cobb, subdivididos en dos grupos: lordosis y cifosis cervical. Se evaluaron y compararon los siguientes parámetros entre los subgrupos: Cifosis torácica (TK) T5-T12; lordosis lumbar (LL) L1-S1, incidencia pélvica (PI), eje vertical sagital (SVA), ángulo pélvico T1 (TPA), lordosis cervical C2-C7, lordosis cervical C1-C2, inclinación T1 (T1s), inclinación del cuello, ángulo de la entrada torácica (TIA) y eje sagital cervical (CSVA). Resultados: Se observó cifosis de la columna cervical en el 48% de los pacientes. Las curvas de clasificación de Lenke (1 a 6) no mostraron diferencias con respecto a la curvatura de la columna cervical. En el subgrupo con lordosis cervical, la cifosis torácica y la inclinación T1 eran significativamente mayores. La inclinación cervical fue significativamente mayor en el subgrupo con cifosis. Conclusiones: Casi la mitad de los pacientes presentan cifosis de la columna cervical, y la curvatura de la columna cervical en los pacientes con EIA varía ampliamente. La cifosis torácica, la inclinación T1 y la inclinación cervical son significativamente diferentes entre los subgrupos de pacientes con lordosis o cifosis. RESUMO Introdução: Nos indivíduos saudáveis e nos pacientes com escoliose idiopática do adolescente (EIA) a curvatura da coluna cervical apresenta grande variação, sendo que aproximadamente 36-40% dos pacientes com EIA apresentam cifose da coluna cervical. Objetivo: Avaliar a curvatura da coluna cervical nos pacientes com EIA e nos subgrupos, de acordo com a classificação de Lenke (1 a 6). Métodos: Foram avaliados 107 pacientes com EIA quanto a lordose cervical (C2-C7), pelo método de Cobb, subdivididos em dois grupos: lordose e cifose cervical. Foram avaliados e comparados entre os subgrupos os seguintes parâmetros: cifose torácica T5-T12 (TK); lordose lombar L1-S1 (LL), incidência pélvica (PI), eixo sagital vertical (SVA), ângulo T1 pélvico (TPA), lordose cervical C2-C7, lordose cervical C1-C2, inclinação T1 (T1s), inclinação cervical (neck tilt), ângulo entrada torácica (TIA) e eixo cervical sagital (CSVA). Resultados: A cifose da coluna cervical foi observada em 48% dos pacientes. As curvas de classificação de Lenke (1 a 6) não apresentaram diferença com relação à curvatura da coluna cervical. No subgrupo com lordose cervical a cifose torácica e a inclinação de T1 foram significativamente maiores. A inclinação cervical foi significativamente maior no subgrupo com cifose. Conclusões: Quase a metade dos pacientes apresenta cifose da coluna cervical, sendo amplamente variável a curvatura da coluna cervical nos pacientes com EIA. A cifose torácica, a inclinação de T1 e a inclinação cervical são significativamente diferentes entre os subgrupos de pacientes com lordose ou cifose. ABSTRACT Introduction: The correlation between sagittal and coronal parameters in patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) presents contradictory results and is not fully understood. Objective: To evaluate the sagittal vertical axis (SVA) and its correlation with sagittal parameters and the main curve in patients diagnosed with AIS. Methods: 109 patients with AIS and indications for surgical treatment were evaluated. The correlation of the SVA with sagittal parameters (thoracic kyphosis, lumbar lordosis, pelvic incidence, lumbar lordosis, pelvic version, and sacral inclination) and with the main curves (main thoracic and thoracolumbar/lumbar) was evaluated. Results: The SVA ranged from -208 to 66.30 mm (mean -19.64 ± 36.21), above 50 mm in two patients (1.83%). There was no correlation between the sagittal parameters and the magnitude of the main curve and the SVA. Conclusion: The SVA showed great variability in the group of patients with AIS; a small percentage of patients had an SVA greater than 50 mm. The low percentage of patients with sagittal misalignment showed the compensatory capacity of young patients with vertebral deformity. Level of Evidence: III; Observational and Retrospective Study.

RESUMEN Introducción: La correlación entre los parámetros sagitales y coronales en pacientes con escoliosis idiopática del adolescente (EIA) presenta resultados contradictorios y no se comprende completamente. Objetivo: Evaluar el eje vertical sagital (SVA) y su correlación con los parámetros sagitales y la curva principal en pacientes diagnosticados de EIA. Métodos: Se evaluaron 109 pacientes con EIA e indicación de tratamiento quirúrgico. Se evaluó la correlación del SVA con parámetros sagitales (cifosis torácica, lordosis lumbar, incidencia pélvica, lordosis lumbar, versión pélvica e inclinación sacra) y con las curvas principales (torácica principal y toracolumbar/lumbar). Resultados: El SVA osciló entre -208 y 66,30 mm (media -19,64 ± 36,21), siendo superior a 50 mm en dos pacientes (1,83%). No hubo correlación entre los parámetros sagitales o la magnitud de la curva principal y el SVA. Conclusión: El SVA mostró una gran variabilidad en el grupo de pacientes con EIA y un pequeño porcentaje de pacientes presentó una SVA superior a 50 mm. El bajo porcentaje de pacientes con desalineación sagital mostró la capacidad compensatoria de los pacientes jóvenes con deformidad vertebral. Resumo O Nordeste Brasileiro (NEB) apresenta, como característica marcante, a irregularidade em acumulados de precipitações, o que é decorrência de vários fatores, tais como as características ambientais e de sistemas atmosféricos. Análises estatísticas adequadas são necessárias para ter conhecimento dos níveis de retorno da precipitação em uma região e são muito importantes para auxiliar ações para prevenção de desastres naturais causados por chuvas máximas. O objetivo dessa pesquisa consistiu em apresentar os níveis de retorno da precipitação máxima diária (PMD) em todo o estado da Paraíba, o qual está localizado na NEB. O conjunto de dados foi composto por 238 estações pluviométricas, abrangendo o período de 1994 a 2020. Para a modelagem estatística foi ajustada a distribuição Gumbel, por meio do método da máxima verossimilhança. Os resultados indicaram que o Sertão Paraibano apresentou as maiores estimadas da PMD nos meses de janeiro a março, com volumes superiores a 75 mm. A Mata Paraibana apresentou as maiores estimativas da PMD nos meses de abril a junho, com valores superiores a 125 mm no mês de junho em regiões litorâneas. As informações obtidas sobre os níveis de retorno da PMD são relevantes e podem ser de grande auxílio na implementação de políticas públicas, visando a diminuição dos impactos causados pelas chuvas intensas.

Abstract Brazilian Northeast (NEB) presents, as a striking feature, the irregularity in rainfall accumulations, which is due to several factors, such as environmental characteristics and atmospheric systems. Adequate statistical analyzes are necessary to have knowledge of the return levels of precipitation in a region and are very important to assist actions to prevent natural disasters caused by maximum rainfall. The objective of this research was to present the levels of return of maximum daily rainfall in the entire state of Paraíba, which is located in the NEB. The dataset consisted of 238 rainfall stations, covering the period from 1994 to 2020. In the statistical modeling, the Gumbel distribution was adjusted using the maximum likelihood method. The results indicated that Sertão Paraibano presented the highest estimated PMD in the months from January to March, with volumes greater than 75 mm. Mata Paraibana presented the highest PMD estimates in the months from April to June, with values greater than 125 mm in the month of June in coastal regions. The information obtained on the levels of return of maximum daily rainfall is relevant and can be of great help in the implementation of public policies, aimed at reducing the impacts caused by intense rains.

Abstract Objective: To provide guidelines on the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination in patients with immune-mediated rheumatic diseases (IMRD) to rheumatologists considering specific scenarios of the daily practice based on the shared-making decision (SMD) process. Methods: A task force was constituted by 24 rheumatologists (panel members), with clinical and research expertise in immunizations and infectious diseases in immunocompromised patients, endorsed by the Brazilian Society of Rheumatology (BSR), to develop guidelines for COVID-19 vaccination in patients with IMRD. A consensus was built through the Delphi method and involved four rounds of anonymous voting, where five options were used to determine the level of agreement (LOA), based on the Likert Scale: (1) strongly disagree; (2) disagree, (3) neither agree nor disagree (neutral); (4) agree; and (5) strongly agree. Nineteen questions were addressed and discussed via teleconference to formulate the answers. In order to identify the relevant data on COVID-19 vaccines, a search with standardized descriptors and synonyms was performed on September 10th, 2021, of the MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, ClinicalTrials.gov, and LILACS to identify studies of interest. We used the Newcastle–Ottawa Scale to assess the quality of nonrandomized studies. Results: All the nineteen questions-answers (Q&A) were approved by the BSR Task Force with more than 80% of panelists voting options 4—agree—and 5—strongly agree—, and a consensus was reached. These Guidelines were focused in SMD on the most appropriate timing for IMRD patients to get vaccinated to reach the adequate covid-19 vaccination response. Conclusion: These guidelines were developed by a BSR Task Force with a high LOA among panelists, based on the literature review of published studies and expert opinion for COVID-19 vaccination in IMRD patients. Noteworthy, in the pandemic period, up to the time of the review and the consensus process for this document, high-quality evidence was scarce. Thus, it is not a substitute for clinical judgment.

Abstract Objectives This analysis describes the protocol of a study with a case-cohort to design to prospectively evaluate the incidence of subclinical atherosclerosis and Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) in Chronic Inflammatory Disease (CID) participants compared to non-diseased ones. Methods A high-risk group for CID was defined based on data collected in all visits on self-reported medical diagnosis, use of medicines, and levels of high-sensitivity C-Reactive Protein >10 mg/L. The comparison group is the Aleatory Cohort Sample (ACS): a group with 10% of participants selected at baseline who represent the entire cohort. In both groups, specific biomarkers for DIC, markers of subclinical atherosclerosis, and CVD morbimortality will be tested using weighted Cox. Results The high-risk group (n = 2,949; aged 53.6 ± 9.2; 65.5% women) and the ACS (n=1543; 52.2±8.8; 54.1% women) were identified. Beyond being older and mostly women, participants in the high-risk group present low average income (29.1% vs. 24.8%, p < 0.0001), higher BMI (Kg/m2) (28.1 vs. 26.9, p < 0.0001), higher waist circumference (cm) (93.3 vs. 91, p < 0.0001), higher frequencies of hypertension (40.2% vs. 34.5%, p < 0.0001), diabetes (20.7% vs. 17%, p = 0.003) depression (5.8% vs. 3.9%, p = 0.007) and higher levels of GlycA a new inflammatory marker (p < 0.0001) compared to the ACS. Conclusions The high-risk group selected mostly women, older, lower-income/education, higher BMI, waist circumference, and of hypertension, diabetes, depression, and higher levels of GlycA when compared to the ACS. The strategy chosen to define the high-risk group seems adequate given that multiple sociodemographic and clinical characteristics are compatible with CID.

RESUMO Objetivo analisar o conceito de telessimulação e sua aplicabilidade no contexto do ensino em saúde. Método trata-se de uma análise conceitual, realizada através de uma scoping review realizada em maio de 2021, nas seguintes bases de dados: PubMed, PMC, Educational Resources Information Center, Web of Science, Science Direct, Scopus, LILACS, Scientific Electronic Library Online e Google Scholar, mediante o uso do descritor “telessimulação” e suas respectivas traduções para inglês e espanhol. Para análise dos estudos, avaliaram-se os atributos, antecedentes e consequentes do conceito. Resultados a telessimulação é definida como uma ramificação da simulação clínica que se caracteriza pela promoção/viabilização de práticas educativas no ensino em saúde, realizadas remotamente, síncrona, através de videochamada. Tem como objetivo facilitar o contato entre instrutores e participantes em situações de necessidade de distanciamento social, acesso dificultado por razões econômicas, como a escassez de recursos humanos e materiais, e/ou geograficamente distantes, com a intenção de desenvolver e aperfeiçoar competências e habilidades pertinentes as profissões da saúde. Conclusão e implicações para a prática a telessimulação representa uma nova oportunidade na formação em saúde, ao ampliar as possibilidades de ensino e romper barreiras que vão desde as geográficas até as econômicas.

ABSTRACT Objective to analyze the “telesimulation” concept and its applicability in the context of health education. Method this is a conceptual analysis performed through a scoping review carried out in May 2021 in the following databases: PubMed, PMC, Educational Resources Information Center, Web of Science, Science Direct, Scopus, LILACS, Scientific Electronic Library Online and Google Scholar, through the use of the descriptor “telesimulação” and its respective translations into English and Spanish. To analyze the studies, the concept’s attributes, antecedents, and consequences were assessed. Results telesimulation is defined as a branch of clinical simulation that is characterized by the promotion/enabling of educational practices in health education, performed remotely, synchronously, through video call. It aims to facilitate contact between instructors and participants in situations of need for social distance, access made difficult for economic reasons, such as the scarcity of human and material resources, and/or geographically distant, aiming at developing and improving relevant skills and abilities for health professions. Conclusion and implications for practice telesimulation represents a new opportunity in health education as it expands teaching possibilities and breaks down barriers ranging from geographic to economic.

RESUMEN Objetivo analizar el concepto de “telesimulación” y su aplicabilidad en el contexto de la educación para la salud. Método se trata de un análisis conceptual realizado a través de una revisión de alcance realizada en mayo de 2021 en las siguientes bases de datos: PubMed, PMC, Educational Resources Information Center, Web of Science, Science Direct, Scopus, LILACS, Scientific Electronic Library Online y Google Scholar, mediante el uso del descriptor “telesimulación” y sus respectivas traducciones al inglés y al español. Resumo A precipitação é um importante objeto de estudo e desempenha um papel importante na dinâmica da distribuição da chuva em uma região. Este estudo teve como objetivo investigar a variação espacial e temporal da precipitação na Bacia do Rio São Francisco (SFRB). Uma série histórica de dados de 1989 a 2018 foi analisada. Uma função aleatória foi decomposta em componentes de tendência e de resíduos para análise de precipitação. Técnicas de interpolação foram utilizadas para analisar o comportamento espacial da precipitação ao longo do tempo, usando mapas de precipitação de alta resolução. Nossos resultados mostraram que o modelo exponencial prevaleceu em quatro períodos. Os resultados também mostraram uma alta variabilidade da precipitação no SFRB e nos permitiu monitorar o comportamento da precipitação ao longo dos anos, bem como nas diferentes sub-regiões da SFRB. Por fim, foram obtidas informações importantes que permitiram, por exemplo, identificar áreas vulneráveis e que sofrem com a falta de chuvas.

Abstract Precipitation is an important object of study and plays an important role in the dynamics of rainfall distribution in a region. This study investigated the spatial and temporal variation of precipitation in the São Francisco River Basin (SFRB). A historical series of data from 1989 to 2018 was analyzed, and a random function was decomposed into trend and residual components for analysis of precipitation. Interpolation techniques were used to analyze precipitation spatial behavior over time, using high-resolution precipitation maps. Our results showed that the exponential model prevailed in four periods. The findings also showed a high precipitation variability in the SFRB and enabled us to monitor precipitation behavior over the years, as well as in the different sub-regions in SFRB. Finally, important information was obtained, enabling, for instance, the identification of vulnerable areas suffering from lack of rainfall.

RESUMO Objetivo: analisar as expressões da espiritualidade e da religiosidade de familiares de pessoas com uso abusivo ou dependente de substâncias psicoativas. Métodos: pesquisa exploratório-descritiva dialogando com o marco conceitual da espiritualidade e da religiosidade, realizada em ambulatório especializado no tratamento de drogas no sul do Brasil. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com 11 familiares de pacientes em tratamento, sendo analisadas pela análise de conteúdo. Resultados: foram agrupados em duas categorias: formas de expressão de práticas de espiritualidade e religiosidade e influência delas na vida dos familiares. A espiritualidade e religiosidade quase sempre servem como fator de proteção diante de sentimentos de angústia, conflitos e solidão. Considerações Finais: as expressões da espiritualidade e religiosidade têm papel importante para muitos familiares, no entanto nem todos parecem se beneficiar delas. Os profissionais de saúde devem considerar essas expressões na construção do cuidado integral em saúde dos familiares.

ABSTRACT Objective: to analyze the expressions of spirituality and religiosity of relatives of people who abuse or are dependent on psychoactive substances. Methods: exploratory-descriptive research that dialogues with the spirituality and religiosity conceptual framework. It was performed at an outpatient clinic specialized in drug treatment in southern Brazil. Semi-structured interviews conducted with 11 relatives of patients undergoing treatment were analyzed by content analysis. Results: the findings were grouped into two categories: forms of expression of spirituality and religiosity practices; and their influence on relatives’ lives. Spirituality and religiosity almost always serve as a protective factor against feelings of anguish, conflicts and loneliness. Final considerations: despite the important role of expressions of spirituality and religiosity for many relatives, not everyone seems to benefit from them. Health professionals should consider these expressions in the construction of comprehensive health care for relatives.

RESUMEN Objetivo: analizar las expresiones de espiritualidad y religiosidad de familiares de personas que abusan o son dependientes de sustancias psicoactivas. Métodos: investigación exploratoria-descriptiva que dialoga con el marco conceptual de la espiritualidad y la religiosidad. Fue realizado en un ambulatorio especializado en tratamiento de drogas en el sur de Brasil. Se analizaron mediante análisis de contenido entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a 11 familiares de pacientes en tratamiento. Resultados: los hallazgos fueron agrupados en dos categorías: formas de expresión de la espiritualidad y prácticas de religiosidad; y su influencia en la vida de los familiares. La espiritualidad y la religiosidad sirven casi siempre como factor protector contra los sentimientos de angustia, conflictos y soledad. Consideraciones finales: a pesar del importante papel de las expresiones de espiritualidad y religiosidad para muchos miembros de la familia, no todos parecen beneficiarse de ellas. Los profesionales de la salud deben considerar estas expresiones en la construcción de la atención integral a la salud de los familiares.
