Abstract Introduction: the Work Rehabilitation Questionnaire (WORQ) was created to assess the functioning and disability of workers undergoing rehabilitation. Since it is comprehensive, it is assumed that its use for a population of active workers can be useful. Objective: to evaluate the construct validity and the reliability of the self-reported WORQ translation to Brazilian Portuguese, in active workers population. Methods: we applied the WORQ to a random sample of workers from the Federal University of Acre, Brazil. For construct validation, we raised hypotheses and analised correlations between the WORQ and the instruments: WHOQOL-BREF, WHODAS, PHQ-9, and GAD-7. For assess reliability, we used the test-retest methodology in a sub-sample (n=50), followed by the calculation of the Spearman coefficient. For internal consistency, we calculated the Cronbach’s alpha. Results: 241 workers participated, 50.2% female. The WORQ showed a strong correlation with WHODAS (r=0.782), moderate with PHQ-9 and GAD-7 (r=0.68 and r=0.675) and a moderate inverse correlation with WHOQOL (r=−0.671). We calculated a Cronbach´s’ alpha of 0.95, and a Spearman’s correlation coefficient of 0.86. Conclusion: the WORQ presented suggestive evidence of construct validity and reliability for use with active workers. Its use in screening for disabilities in these workers may be suggested.

Resumo Introdução: o Questionário de Reabilitação para o Trabalho (WORQ) foi criado para avaliação da funcionalidade de trabalhadores em reabilitação. Por ser abrangente, supõe-se que sua utilização é útil para avaliar trabalhadores ativos. Objetivo: avaliar a validade de constructo e a confiabilidade da versão autorrespondida do WORQ traduzida para o português brasileiro, para uso com trabalhadores ativos. Métodos: aplicou-se o WORQ em uma amostra aleatória de trabalhadores da Universidade Federal do Acre, no Brasil. Para validação de constructo, foram levantadas hipóteses e feitas correlações entre o WORQ e os instrumentos: WHOQOL-BREF, WHODAS, PHQ-9 e GAD-7. Para confiabilidade, foi utilizada a metodologia teste-reteste em subamostra (n=50) e posterior cálculo do coeficiente de Spearman. Para consistência interna, foi calculado o alfa de Cronbach. Resultados: participaram 241 trabalhadores, 50,2% do sexo feminino. O WORQ apresentou forte correlação com o WHODAS (r=0,782), moderada com o PHQ-9 e com a GAD-7 (r=0,68 e r=0,675) e moderada correlação inversa com o WHOQOL (r=-0,671). Foi obtido alfa de Cronbach de 0,95 e coeficiente de correlação de Spearman de 0,86. Conclusão: O WORQ apresentou evidências sugestivas de validade de constructo e de confiabilidade para uso com trabalhadores ativos, podendo sua utilização ser sugerida na triagem de incapacidades nesses trabalhadores.

RESUMO OBJETIVO: Caracterizar os casos de violência sexual sofridos por mulheres notificadas pelo Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação no município de Rio Branco (AC) no período de 2011 a 2016. MÉTODOS: Estudo descritivo com base nas informações do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação. A população do estudo foi constituída por mulheres vítimas de violência sexual notificadas no município de Rio Branco (AC), de 2011 a 2016. RESULTADOS: Os resultados da investigação apresentam maior número de notificação durante o ano de 2012, se destacando entre as vítimas aquelas com idade entre 10 e 14 anos, solteiras, pardas e com 5 a 8 anos de formação educacional. O local de ocorrência mais notificado foi a residência, predominando agressor único, do sexo masculino e não alcoolizado. DISCUSSÃO: O grande número de notificações de gestantes na faixa etária de 10 a 14 anos corresponde à notificação compulsória do estupro de vulnerável, identificado no momento de realização do pré-natal ou parto. CONCLUSÃO: Confirmou-se a suscetibilidade à violência sexual de mulheres jovens de Rio Branco, levantando a problemática do casamento infantil e da gravidez na adolescência.

METHODS: Descriptive study based on information from the Notifiable Diseases Information System. The study population consisted on women victims of sexual violence reported in the city of Rio Branco (AC), from 2011 to 2016. RESULTS: The results show a higher number of notifications during 2012, especially among single, brown, and aged between 10 and 14 years victims; usually they have 5 to 8 years of schooling. Normally violence occurred in residences and by a single aggressor, male and non-alcoholic. DISCUSSION: The large number of notifications of pregnant women aged 10 to 14 years corresponds to the compulsory notification of rape of a vulnerable person, identified at the time of prenatal care or childbirth. CONCLUSION: We confirm the susceptibility to sexual violence of young women in Rio Branco, raising the issue of child marriage and teenage pregnancy.

RESUMO OBJETIVO Revisar os principais instrumentos de avaliação funcional e situação de saúde citados na literatura para avaliar trabalhadores brasileiros e verificar a compatibilidade de seus itens com o core set para reabilitação profissional. MÉTODOS Foi realizada uma revisão da literatura nas principais bases de dados em busca de artigos que utilizaram instrumentos de avaliação em populações de trabalhadores entre 2007 e 2017. Posteriormente foram recuperados os conteúdos dos instrumentos identificados e dois avaliadores analisaram seus itens para verificar a compatibilidade com as categorias do core set da Classificação Internacional de Funcionalidade para reabilitação profissional. O coeficiente kappa de Cohen foi utilizado para avaliar a concordância entre os avaliadores. RESULTADOS Foram selecionados cinco instrumentos específicos e oito genéricos que avaliaram a funcionalidade de trabalhadores. A análise dos itens do total de instrumentos permitiu o preenchimento de 58 categorias (64,5%) do core set com o mínimo de sobreposição: 13 (76,5%) do componente funções corporais, 29 (72,5%) do componente de atividades e participação e 16 (49%) de fatores ambientais. CONCLUSÕES A associação de vários instrumentos requer tempo e dificulta o uso da classificação. A elaboração de instrumentos com associação direta às suas categorias se faz essencial para operacionalizá-la.

ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE To review the main instruments of functional assessment and health status cited in the literature to evaluate Brazilian workers and verify the compatibility of their items with the core set for professional rehabilitation. METHODS A review of the literature was conducted in the main databases in search of articles that used assessment instruments in populations of workers between 2007 and 2017. Subsequently, the contents of the identified instruments were retrieved, and two evaluators analyzed their items to verify the compatibility with the categories of the core set of the International Classification of Functioning for professional rehabilitation. Cohen’s kappa coefficient was used to evaluate the agreement between the evaluators. RESULTS Five specific and eight generic instruments were selected to evaluate the functioning of workers. The analysis of the items of the total instruments allowed the definition of 58 categories (64.5%) of the core set with minimal overlap: 13 (76.5%) of the body functions component, 29 (72.5%) of the activities and participation component and 16 (49%) environmental factors. CONCLUSIONS The association of several instruments requires time and makes it difficult to use the classification. The development of instruments with direct association with its categories is essential to operationalize it.

OBJETIVO: Analisar a prevalência e fatores associados dos sintomas osteomusculares em taxistas de Rio Branco, Acre.MÉTODOS: Estudo transversal de base populacional com 321 taxistas. Utilizou-se um questionário fechado sobre sintomas osteomusculares e variáveis associadas.RESULTADOS: A prevalência de sintomas nos últimos 12 meses foi de 72,0%. As partes do corpo com maiores prevalências foram: lombar (49,5%) e cervical (29,9%). A autoavaliação insatisfatória de saúde mostrou-se associada aos sintomas osteomusculares em todas as regiões corporais. A situação de morar com mais de 4 pessoas na casa esteve associado aos sintomas nas regiões do tronco superior, membros superiores e inferiores. Conviver com companheira apresentou associação com sintomas em tronco superior e inferior. Foi evidenciado tendência linear de aumento do IMC com os sintomas no tronco superior e membros inferiores. A condição de ter 5 anos ou menos de estudo e ter 2 ou mais filhos mostraram associação com os sintomas nos tronco inferior e membros superiores, respectivamente.CONCLUSÕES: As alarmantes prevalências de sintomas osteomusculares em taxistas sugerem a necessidade de programas voltados à saúde ocupacional destes trabalhadores.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the prevalence and factors associated with musculoskeletal symptoms in taxi drivers in Rio Branco, Acre.METHODS: Cross-sectional population-based study with 321 drivers. It was used a questionnaire with closed questions on musculoskeletal symptoms and associated variables. Multiple logistic regression was used to identify factors associated with symptoms in the last 12 months.RESULTS: The prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms was 72.0%. The body parts with the highest prevalence were: lumbar (49.5%) and neck (29.9%). Poor self-assessed health associated itself with symptoms all body regions. The situation of living with more than 4 people at home was associated with symptoms in the regions of the upper trunk and the upper and lower limbs. Living with a partner was associated with symptoms in the regions of the upper and lower torso. Linear trend of increasing BMI with the symptoms on the upper trunk and lower limbs was found. The condition of having less than 5 years of formal studying and having 2 or more children showed association with symptoms in the lower trunk and upper limbs, respectively. The alarming prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms in taxi drivers suggests the need for occupational health programs for these workers.
