Abstract Objectives To evaluate outcomes of oral food challenge (OFC) test to assess tolerance in infants with non-IgE-mediated cow's milk allergy (CMA) with gastrointestinal manifestations and explore clinical data predictive of these outcomes. Methods Single-center retrospective study including infants (age < 12 months) who were referred for CMA between 2000 and 2018 and underwent OFC on follow-up. A univariate logistic regression test was performed to evaluate variables associated with the outcomes of the follow-up OFC test. Results Eighty-two patients were included, 50% were male. Eighteen patients had a positive OFC test (22%). Most patients had presented with hematochezia (77%). The median age of symptom onset was 30 days. Two-thirds of the patients were on appropriate infant formula (extensively hydrolyzed or amino acid-based formula), exclusively or in association with breastfeeding. The median time on an elimination diet before the OFC test was 8 months (Q1 6 - Q3 11 months). All cases with positive follow-up OFC tests (n= 18) had been exposed to cow's milk-based formula before the first clinical manifestation of CMA. Five out of eight cases with Food Protein-Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome (FPIES) had positive OFC tests. Exposure to cow's milk-based formula before diagnosis, a history of other food allergies, hematochezia and diarrhea were predictors of a positive OFC test. Conclusions In infants with non-IgE-mediated CMPA with gastrointestinal manifestations, the use of cow's milk-based formula, a history of other food allergies, and hematochezia and diarrhea upon initial presentation were associated factors for the later achievement of tolerance.

Resumen Objetivo Proponer un diagrama de prevención de caídas para personas mayores, basado en el modelo de promoción de la salud de Nola Pender. Métodos La elaboración del diagrama se basó en el modelo de Nola Pender y sus elementos. Para tal fin, se realizó un estudio de revisión integradora con el objetivo de recopilar datos sobre características y experiencias individuales, sentimientos y conocimientos y adopción de un comportamiento saludable para la prevención de caídas. Después de recopilar la información, se realizó un análisis de similitud de los estudios seleccionados mediante IRaMuTeQ. Los elementos obtenidos del análisis de similitud permitieron agrupar los estudios respecto a los elementos encontrados y, de esta forma, proporcionaron la organización del diagrama de prevención de caídas. Resultados La muestra final estuvo compuesta por 54 artículos, divididos de acuerdo con los elementos del modelo de Nola Pender: 36 abordaban características y experiencias individuales, 40 sentimientos y conocimientos y 20 eran sobre el comportamiento. Los elementos obtenidos del análisis de similitud generaron un conjunto semántico de palabras más frecuentes: caída, prevención, mujer y miedo. Por otro lado, las palabras menos frecuentes fueron: cognición, autoeficacia, transporte y planificación, que contribuyeron para la elaboración del diagrama. Conclusión A partir de la revisión, se elaboró un diagrama que favoreció la identificación de los factores personales, barreras y facilidades para un comportamiento conveniente en la prevención de caídas.

Resumo Objetivo Propor um diagrama de prevenção de quedas para pessoas idosas, baseado no Modelo de Promoção da Saúde de Nola Pender. Métodos A construção do diagrama foi embasada no modelo de Nola Pender e em seus elementos. Para isso, foi realizado um estudo de revisão integrativa, com o objetivo de coletar dados sobre características e experiências individuais, sentimentos e conhecimentos e adoção de comportamento saudável para prevenção de quedas. Após a coleta dessas informações, realizou-se análise de similitude dos estudos selecionados por meio do IRaMuTeQ. Os elementos obtidos da análise de similitude facilitaram o agrupamento dos estudos quanto aos elementos encontrados e, assim, proporcionaram a organização do diagrama de prevenção de quedas. Resultados A amostra final foi constituída de 54 artigos, divididos de acordo com os elementos do modelo de Nola Pender: 36 abordavam características e experiências individuais, 40 sentimentos e conhecimentos, e 20 eram referentes ao comportamento. Os elementos obtidos da análise de similitude geraram um leque semântico de palavras mais frequentes: queda, prevenção, mulher e medo. Já as palavras menos frequentes foram cognição, autoeficácia, transporte e planejamento, os quais contribuíram para a construção do diagrama. Conclusão A partir da revisão, elaborou-se um diagrama, que favoreceu a identificação dos fatores pessoais, barreiras e facilidades, para um comportamento desejável à prevenção de quedas.

Abstract Objective To propose a fall prevention diagram for older adults, based on Nola Pender’s Health Promotion Model. Methods Diagram construction was based on Nola Pender’s model and its elements. For this, an integrative review study was carried out with the objective of collecting data on individual characteristics and experiences, behavior-specific cognitions and affect and behavioral outcome for fall prevention. After collecting this information, a similarity analysis of the selected studies was carried out using IRaMuTeQ. The elements obtained from similarity analysis facilitated the grouping of studies regarding the elements found and thus provided fall prevention diagram organization. Results The final sample consisted of 54 articles, divided according to the elements of Nola Pender’s model: 36 addressed individual characteristics and experiences, 40 referred to behavior-specific cognitions and affect, and 20 referred to behavioral outcome. The elements obtained from the similarity analysis generated a semantic range of the most frequent words: fall, prevention, woman and fear. The least frequent words were cognition, self-efficacy, transportation and planning, which contributed to diagram construction. Conclusion From the review, a diagram was prepared, which favored identifying personal factors, barriers and facilities for a desirable behavior to prevent falls.

ABSTRACT Purpose To investigate whether there are differences in cepstral and spectral acoustic measures between women with behavioral dysphonia with and without laryngeal lesions and verify whether there is a correlation between such measures and the auditory-perceptual evaluation of voice quality. Methods The sample comprised 78 women with behavioral dysphonia without laryngeal lesions (BDWOL) and 68 with behavioral dysphonia with laryngeal lesions (vocal nodules) (BDWL). Cepstral peak prominence (CPP), cepstral peak prominence-smoothed (CPPS), spectral decrease, and H1-H2 (difference between the amplitude of the first and second harmonics) were extracted. They were submitted to the auditory-perceptual evaluation (APE) of the grade of hoarseness (GH), roughness (RO), breathiness (BR), and strain (ST). Results BDWL women had higher H1-H2 values and lower CPP and CPPS values than BDWOL women. More deviant voices had lower CPP and CPPS values. Breathy voices had lower CPP and CPPS values and higher H1-H2 values than rough ones. There was a weak negative correlation between CPP and RO, a moderate negative correlation with GH, and a strong negative correlation with BR. CPPS had a moderate negative correlation with GH, RO, and BR. H1-H2 had a weak positive correlation with BR. There was a weak positive correlation between spectral decrease and ST. Conclusion H1-H2, CPP, and CPPS were different between BDWOL and BDWL women. Furthermore, cepstral and spectral measures were correlated with the different APE parameters.

RESUMO Objetivo Investigar se existem diferenças nas medidas acústicas cepstrais e espectrais entre mulheres com disfonia comportamental com e sem lesão laríngea, bem como verificar se existe correlação entre tais medidas e o julgamento perceptivo-auditivo da qualidade vocal. Método Participaram 78 mulheres com disfonia comportamental sem lesão laríngea (DCSL) e 68 com disfonia comportamental com lesão laríngea (nódulos vocais) (DCCL). Foram extraídas as medidas CPP (cepstral peak prominence), CPPS (cepstral peak prominence smoothed), declínio espectral e H1-H2 (diferença entre a amplitude do primeiro e do segundo harmônico), assim como o julgamento perceptivo-auditivo (JPA) do grau geral de desvio vocal (GG), graus de rugosidade (GR), de soprosidade (GS) e de tensão (GT). Resultados Mulheres com DCCL apresentaram maiores valores de H1-H2 e menores valores no CPP e CPPS, em relação às mulheres com DCSL. As vozes mais desviadas apresentaram menores valores do CPP e CPPS. As vozes soprosas apresentaram menores valores de CPP e CPPS, assim como maior valor de H1-H2 em relação às vozes rugosas. Houve correlação negativa fraca entre o CPP e o GR, negativa moderada com o GG e negativa forte com o GS. O CPPS apresentou correlação negativa moderada com o GG, GR e GS. A medida H1-H2 apresentou correlação positiva fraca com o GS. Houve correlação positiva fraca entre o declínio espectral e o GT. Conclusão As medidas acústicas H1-H2, CPP e CPPS apresentam diferenças entre mulheres com DCSL e DCCL. Além disso, há correlação entre as medidas cepstrais e espectrais e os diferentes parâmetros do JPA.

The objective of the research was to understand the pedagogical strategies mediated by a teacher educator in an undergraduate course in Physical Education in the implementation of Sport Education (SE) to develop knowledge about Artistic Gymnastics (AG) based on the Freirean pedagogy. Action research was used as a research method, with the implementation of the pedagogical process developed over 12 weeks with the participation of the teacher educator and 17 students. Data were collected weekly and included: pedagogical documentation produced during the course; field diaries written by the teacher educator at the end of each meeting; discussions with a critical friend during the development of the educational process; and focus groups after the entire process. Thematic Analysis was used to analyze the data. The results indicate that the three pedagogical strategies were fundamental for the implementation of SE in GA: Experience of different roles, Dynamics of design and Co-creation of the AG code. This set of strategies characterizes a pedagogical mediation consistent with Paulo Freire's pedagogical proposal by highlighting fundamental knowledge inherent to the ethical nature of a liberating educational practice, namely: Reading the world, Investigative spirit, Stimulating autonomy, Horizontality, Problematization and (Re)construction of (new) knowledge.

El objetivo de la investigación fue comprender las estrategias pedagógicas mediadas por una docente en un curso de graduación en Educación Física en la implementación del Sport Education (ES) para desarrollar los conocimientos sobre Gimnasia Artística (GA) con base en la pedagogía freireana. Se utilizó como método de investigación la investigación acción, con la implementación del proceso pedagógico desarrollado durante 12 semanas con la participación de la docente investigadora y 17 estudiantes. Los datos fueron recogidos semanalmente e incluyeron: documentación pedagógica producida durante la disciplina; diarios de campo redactados por la docente al final de cada encuentro; discusiones con una amiga crítica durante el desarrollo del proceso educativo; realización de grupos focales después de todo el proceso. El Análisis Temático fue utilizado para el tratamiento de los datos. Los resultados indican que las tres estrategias pedagógicas construidas fueron fundamentales para la implementación del SE en la GA: Desempeño de diferentes funciones, la Dinámica de diseño y Cocreación del código en la GA. Ese conjunto de estrategias caracteriza una mediación pedagógica acorde con la propuesta pedagógica de Paulo Freire al evidenciar saberes fundamentales inherentes a la naturaleza ética de una práctica educativa liberadora, a saber: Lectura del mundo, Espíritu investigador, Estímulo a la autonomía, Horizontalidad, Problematización y (Re)construcción de (nuevos conocimientos.

Os dados foram levantados semanalmente e incluíram: documentação pedagógica produzida durante a disciplina; diários de campo redigidos pela docente ao final de cada encontro; discussões com uma amiga crítica durante o desenvolvimento do processo educativo; realização de grupos focais após todo o processo. A Análise Temática foi utilizada para o tratamento dos dados. Os resultados indicam que as três estratégias pedagógicas construídas foram fundamentais para a implementação do SE na GA: o Desempenho de diferentes funções, a Dinâmica do desenho e a Cocriação do código de pontuação. Esse conjunto de estratégias caracteriza uma mediação pedagógica condizente com a proposta pedagógica de Paulo Freire ao evidenciar saberes fundamentais inerentes à natureza ética de uma prática educativa libertadora, quais sejam: Leitura de mundo, Espírito investigador, Estímulo à autonomia, Horizontalidade, Problematização e (Re)construção de (novos) conhecimentos.

Objectives: To summarize evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) treatment and propose clinical interventions for adult patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Methods: The literature on CBT interventions for adult OCD, including BT and exposure and response prevention, was systematically reviewed to develop updated clinical guidelines for clinicians, providing comprehensive details about the necessary procedures for the CBT protocol. We searched the literature from 2013-2020 in five databases (PubMed, Cochrane, Embase, PsycINFO, and Lilacs) regarding study design, primary outcome measures, publication type, and language. Selected articles were assessed for quality with validated tools. Treatment recommendations were classified according to levels of evidence developed by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. Results: We examined 44 new studies used to update the 2013 American Psychiatric Association guidelines. High-quality evidence supports CBT with exposure and response prevention techniques as a first-line treatment for OCD. Protocols for Internet-delivered CBT have also proven efficacious for adults with OCD. Conclusion: High-quality scientific evidence supports the use of CBT with exposure and response prevention to treat adults with OCD.

ABSTRACT The selection of lima bean accessions in the fresh and dry stages is an excellent tool to increase crop yield in Brazil and ensure a source of vegetable protein for the population. Principal component analysis and nonparametric indices can be used to identify promising accessions based on the desired agronomic variables. The aim of the present study was to select accessions from traditional lima bean varieties in the fresh and dry stages using principal component analysis and nonparametric selection indices. The experiment consisted of a randomized block design, evaluating 13 treatments in four replicates. The experimental plot contained 20 plants in its study area. The first two principal components for the two stages explained more than 80% of the variation found among the accessions. The Mulamba & Mock and Genotype-Ideotype selection indices were efficient in classifying promising varieties for breeding programs. The UFPI 1111 accession can be used in fresh lima bean production, and its UFPI 1248 and 1294 counterparts in lima bean breeding programs.

RESUMO A seleção de acessos de feijão-fava nos estádios verde e seco é uma excelente ferramenta para aumentar a produtividade da cultura no país e garantir uma fonte de proteína vegetal para a população. O uso de componentes principais e índices de seleção não-paramétricos podem ser utilizados para identificar acessos promissores com base em características agronômicas desejáveis. O objetivo do presente estudo foi selecionar acessos de variedades crioulas de feijão-fava nos estádios frescos e secos utilizando componentes principais e índices de seleção não paramétricos. O experimento foi disposto em delineamento em blocos casualizados, sendo avaliados 13 tratamentos em quatro repetições. A parcela experimental conteve 20 plantas em sua área útil. Os dois primeiros componentes principais, para os dois estádios, explicaram mais de 80% da variação encontrada entre os acessos. Os índices de seleção de Mulamba & Mock e Genótipo-Ideótipo foram eficientes na classificação de variedades promissoras para programas de melhoramento. O acesso UFPI 1111 pode ser direcionado para a produção de fava verde, e os acessos UFPI 1248 e UFPI 1294 podem ser utilizados para programas de melhoramento de fava seca.

Objectives: To summarize evidence-based pharmacological treatments and provide guidance on clinical interventions for adult patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Methods: The American Psychiatric Association (APA) guidelines for the treatment of OCD (2013) were updated with a systematic review assessing the efficacy of pharmacological treatments for adult OCD, comprising monotherapy with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), clomipramine, serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs), and augmentation strategies with clomipramine, antipsychotics, and glutamate-modulating agents. We searched for the literature published from 2013-2020 in five databases, considering the design of the study, primary outcome measures, types of publication, and language. Selected articles had their quality assessed with validated tools. Treatment recommendations were classified according to levels of evidence developed by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association (ACC/AHA). Results: We examined 57 new studies to update the 2013 APA guidelines. High-quality evidence supports SSRIs for first-line pharmacological treatment of OCD. Moreover, augmentation of SSRIs with antipsychotics (risperidone, aripiprazole) is the most evidence-based pharmacological intervention for SSRI-resistant OCD. Conclusion: SSRIs, in the highest recommended or tolerable doses for 8-12 weeks, remain the first-line treatment for adult OCD. Optimal augmentation strategies for SSRI-resistant OCD include low doses of risperidone or aripiprazole. Pharmacological treatments considered ineffective or potentially harmful, such as monotherapy with antipsychotics or augmentation with ketamine, lamotrigine, or N-acetylcysteine, have also been detailed.

Resumo O presente artigo objetiva realizar uma revisão de escopo da literatura, com o intuito de compreender as experiências formais de participação social que tem sido desenvolvidas no contexto da Atenção Primária em Saúde (APS) no Brasil, desde a criação do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) até novembro de 2020. Foram realizadas pesquisas nas bases Lilacs, PubMed, PsycINFO e Sociological Abstracts, sendo achados 20 artigos abordando a participação social e a APS. Os resultados encontrados foram discutidos no que se refere ao perfil dos participantes e à competência para participar, ao processo de participar e à construção de ações participativas, além da centralidade da educação permanente como forma de fortalecer a participação social em saúde. A pesquisa revelou distintas experiências de participação social desenvolvidas nos territórios onde atua a APS, destacando-se as dificuldades enfrentadas no processo de implementação dos Conselhos Locais de Saúde (CLS). Sendo assim, discute-se que o fortalecimento da APS, principalmente do modelo Estratégia Saúde da Família (ESF), envolve, de modo dialético, a construção e qualificação dos espaços participativos, o que resultaria em uma estratégia central de defesa do SUS em um momento de recrudescimento das relações democráticas no país.

Abstract This article aimed to carry out a scoping review of the literature to understand the formal experiences of social participation that have been developed in the context of the Brazilian Primary Health Care (PHC), since the creation of the Brazilian National Health System (SUS) until November 2020. The databases LILACS, PubMed, PsycINFO, and Sociological Abstracts were searched, and 20 articles were included that described the social participation in the context of PHC. The results found were discussed regarding the profile of the participants and the competence to participate, the process of participation and the building of participatory actions, and the centrality of permanent education as a way to strengthen social participation in health. The research revealed distinct experiences of social participation developed in the territories where the PHC operates, highlighting the difficulties faced in the process of implementing the Local Health Councils (LHC). Thus, it is understood that strengthening the PHC, especially the Family Health Strategy (FHS) model, involves, in a dialectical way, the construction and the qualification of participatory spaces, which would result in a central strategy to defend the SUS at this time of resurgence of democratic relations in Brazil.

Sendo assim, discute-se que o fortalecimento da APS, principalmente do modelo Estratégia Saúde da Família (ESF), envolve, de modo dialético, a construção e qualificação dos espaços participativos, o que resultaria em uma estratégia central de defesa do SUS em um momento de recrudescimento das relações democráticas no país.

ABSTRACT Objective: To analyze, in the light of the Social Ecological Theory, the progression of reported cases of HIV during pregnancy in a Brazilian state and their relationship with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: Retrospective study, with a sample consisting of all reports of gestational HIV in the state of Ceará - Brazil from 2017 to 2021, on the IntegraSUS platform. Data collection was carried out in January 2022. The analyzed variables were organized according to the theoretical levels: macrosystem, exosystem, mesosystem, and microsystem. Results: A total of 1,173 cases of HIV in pregnant women were recorded. When comparing the pre- and post-pandemic period, a reduction in the disease detection rate (from 231 to 122.67 pregnant women) was observed, as well as 1.82 times more chances of women not using antiretrovirals during childbirth after the start of the pandemic. There was a 55% reduction in vaginal births and 39% in cesarean sections among women diagnosed with HIV after the start of the pandemic. Conclusion: The COVID-19 pandemic had an epidemiological and care impact, leading to a reduction in the number of notifications and in the detection rate of pregnant women living with HIV in the state of Ceará. Therefore, the need to ensure health care coverage is emphasized, with early diagnosis actions, guaranteed treatment, and quality prenatal care.

RESUMEN Objetivo: Analizar, a la luz de la Teoría Ecológica Social, la evolución de los casos notificados de VIH durante el embarazo en un estado brasileño y su relación con el inicio de la pandemia de COVID-19. Método: Estudio retrospectivo, con una muestra compuesta por todos los informes de VIH gestacional en el estado de Ceará - Brasil de 2017 a 2021, en la plataforma IntegraSUS. La recolección de datos se realizó en enero de 2022. Las variables analizadas se organizaron según los niveles teóricos: macrosistema, exosistema, mesosistema y microsistema. Resultados: Se registraron 1.173 casos de VIH en gestantes. Al comparar el período pre y pospandemia, hubo una reducción en la tasa de detección de la enfermedad (de 231 a 122,67 mujeres embarazadas) y 1,82 veces más posibilidades de que las mujeres no usaran antirretrovirales durante el parto después del inicio de la pandemia. Hubo una reducción del 55% en los partos vaginales y del 39% en las cesáreas entre las mujeres diagnosticadas con VIH después del inicio de la pandemia. Conclusión: La pandemia de COVID-19 tuvo un impacto epidemiológico y asistencial, lo que provocó una reducción en el número de notificaciones y en la tasa de detección de mujeres embarazadas que viven con el VIH en el estado de Ceará. Por lo tanto, se refuerza la necesidad de asegurar la cobertura de salud, con acciones de diagnóstico temprano, tratamiento garantizado y atención prenatal de calidad.

RESUMO Objetivo: Analisar, à luz da Teoria Social Ecológica, a evolução dos casos notificados de HIV na gestação em um estado brasileiro e sua relação com o início da pandemia de COVID-19. Método: Estudo retrospectivo, com amostra composta por todas as notificações de HIV gestacional do estado do Ceará - Brasil no período de 2017 a 2021, na plataforma IntegraSUS. A coleta de dados foi realizada em janeiro de 2022. As variáveis analisadas foram organizadas de acordo com os níveis teóricos: macrossistema, exossistema, mesossistema e microssistema. Resultados: Foram registrados 1.173 casos de HIV em gestantes. Ao comparar o período pré e pós-pandemia, observou-se redução da taxa de detecção da doença (de 231 para 122,67 gestantes) e 1,82 vezes mais chances de as mulheres não usarem antirretrovirais no parto após o início da pandemia. Houve redução de 55% de partos vaginais e de 39% de cesarianas das mulheres com diagnóstico de HIV após o início da pandemia. Conclusão A pandemia de COVID-19 causou impacto epidemiológico e assistencial, levando a uma redução do número de notificações e taxa de detecção de gestantes que vivem com HIV no estado do Ceará. Logo, reforça-se a necessidade de assegurar a cobertura de atenção à saúde, com ações de diagnóstico precoce, garantia de tratamento e uma assistência pré-natal de qualidade.

ABSTRACT Covered lagoon biodigesters are widely used in Brazil for treatment of agro-industrial effluents; however, under natural conditions, they operate at temperatures below the ideal. Thus, external sources for heating the effluent can enhance reactor performance and optimize thermal exchanges between the biodigester and the environment. This study aimed to evaluate the thermal exchanges in the internal and external environments of a covered lagoon biodigester from the influence of effluent heating through solar energy. Mathematical modeling (EnergyPlus software) was used as a tool to simulate thermal exchanges and obtain heat transfer rates. To do so, two scenarios were considered: with and without heated effluent. The results showed that solar radiation is the primary source of heating for anaerobic reactors and that the high thermal inertia of the soil contributes to a small variation in temperature of the resident biomass over the course of the day, even in the scenario with heated effluent. The temperature of the resident biomass reached and stabilized at 30°C, even after thermal exchanges with biogas and soil, in both hot and cold periods when heating was applied.

Abstract Objective Brazil Health Ministry’s guidelines for tobacco control include the Smoking Cessation Program, developed by the Instituto Nacional de Câncer of Brazil. This review aims to describe the studies in which this Program has been applied, reviewing its procedures, effects, potential and limitations. Method Articles from PubMed, PsycINFO, Virtual Health Library and Scientific Electronic Library Online, published between 2002 and 2019, were evaluated, using the descriptors “Smoking Cessation Program” and “smoking cessation” in Portuguese, Spanish and English. A total of 1670 articles were pre-selected, of which 15 resulted eligible for final assessment. Results The results showed adherence rates from 33% to 100%, success rates from 15% to 85% after the intervention and 21% to 51% six months after treatment completion. This variability may be related to the lack of standardization and poor fidelity in the application of the Program, which intends to treat physical, psychological and behavioral dependence. Conclusion Investment in technical training and record monitoring is suggested.

Resumo Objetivo Entre as diretrizes do Ministério da Saúde para controle do tabagismo está o Programa de Cessação do Tabagismo, desenvolvido pelo Instituto Nacional do Câncer. Esta revisão objetiva descrever as pesquisas que aplicaram o Programa de Cessação do Tabagismo, analisando seus procedimentos, efeitos, potencialidades e limitadores. Método Foram avaliados artigos das bases PubMed, PsycINFO, Biblioteca Virtual da Saúde e Biblioteca Eletrônica Científica Online publicados entre 2002 e 2019 e encontrados através de busca que usou os descritores: “Programa Nacional de Controle do Tabagismo” e “cessação do tabagismo” em português, espanhol e inglês. Foram pré-selecionados 1670 artigos, dos quais 15 foram elegíveis para análise final. Resultados Os resultados mostraram taxas de adesão ao tratamento de 33% a 100%, taxas de sucesso de 15% a 85% após a intervenção e de 21% a 51% seis meses após o final do tratamento. Essa variabilidade pode estar relacionada à falta de padronização e baixa fidelidade na aplicação do Programa, que propõe tratar as dependências física, psicológica e comportamental. Conclusão Recomenda-se investimento em capacitação técnica e monitoramento dos registros.

Abstract The aim of this study was to investigate uterine involution using ultrasonography techniques during postpartum. Postpartum ultrasonography evaluation (B-mode, color Doppler and Acoustic Radiation Force Impulse elastography) of the uterus was performed by transabdominal approach at immediate after birth and sequentially every 48 hours, during 30 days. The uterine echotexture did not present significant variations (P >0.05) being homogeneous in most evaluations; echogenicity of the uterus increased along the evaluation period (P =0.0452). Progressive and remarkable decrease of the total uterine diameter (UD) were observed (P <0.0001), especially during the first days postpartum. The thickness of uterine wall gradually decreased, as well the endometrial, myometrium and lumen diameters (P <0.0001). Uterine blood flow was assessed by Doppler and decreased during postpartum period, being significantly lower (P=0.0225) on the 30th day of postpartum. Uterine parenchyma presented as homogeneous dark areas (not deformable) on qualitative ultrasound elastography and the means shear velocity values of the uterine wall on quantitative elastography did not differ. This is the first study that evaluate the stiffness of uterine wall in healthy ewes, providing baseline data about quantitative and qualitative stiffness of the normal uterus, and it may be a useful tool for early diagnosis of uterine alterations during the postpartum period, using the reference parameter established for the assessment of uterine integrity during postpartum period.

ABSTRACT Purpose To compare the efficiency of different vocal self-assessment instruments for dysphonia screening. Methods 262 dysphonic and non-dysphonic individuals participated in the research. The mean age was 41.3 (±14.5) years. The diagnosis of dysphonia was based on the auditory-perceptual analysis of the sustained vowel “é” and on laryngological diagnosis. The responses of the instruments were collected: Voice-Related Quality of Life (V-RQOL), Voice Handicap Index (VHI), VHI-10, Voice Symptoms Scale (VoiSS), and the Brazilian Dysphonia Screening Tool, (Br-DST) called in Brazilian Portuguese Instrumento de Rastreio da Disfonia (IRDBR). To analyze assertiveness in relation to the presence of dysphonia, the cutoff points of each instrument and the decision rule recommended by the IRDBR were used. An exploratory analysis was performed to compare mean scores of instruments and verify associations between variables. Results The instruments evaluated were sensitive to capture the impact of dysphonia in a similar way regardless of professional voice use and type of dysphonia. There was a difference only in VoiSS scores for the variable gender, with a higher score for females. Regarding global assertiveness, the instruments showed high rates of success in classification, with emphasis on the VoiSS, which had the highest rate (86.3%), followed by the IRDBR (84.0%), VQL (80.9%), VHI (78.2%), and VHI-10 (75.2%). Conclusion The VoiSS has the highest assertiveness index in the identification of dysphonia, followed by the IRDBR. The IRDBR is a short, simple, and easy-to-apply tool for screening procedures.

RESUMO Objetivo Comparar a eficiência de diferentes instrumentos de autoavaliação vocal para o rastreio da disfonia. Método Participaram 262 indivíduos disfônicos e não disfônicos, com média de idade de 41,3 (±14,5) anos. O diagnóstico da disfonia foi dado a partir da análise perceptivo-auditiva da vogal sustentada “é” e do diagnóstico laringológico. Foram coletadas as respostas dos instrumentos: Questionário de Qualidade de Vida em Voz (QVV), Índice de Desvantagem Vocal (IDV), IDV-10, Escala de Sintomas Vocais (ESV) e do Br-DST (Brazilian Dysphonia Screening Tool), denominado no português brasileiro como Instrumento de Rastreio da Disfonia (IRDBR). Para análise da assertividade destes em relação à presença da disfonia, foram utilizados os pontos de corte de cada instrumento e a regra de decisão preconizada pelo IRDBR. Foi realizada uma análise exploratória para comparação das médias dos escores dos instrumentos e verificação de associações entre as variáveis. Resultados Os instrumentos avaliados foram sensíveis para captar o impacto da disfonia de forma semelhante independentemente do uso profissional da voz e tipo de disfonia. Foi observada diferença apenas nos escores da ESV para a variável sexo, com maior pontuação observada no sexo feminino. Em relação à assertividade global, os instrumentos apresentaram elevados índices de acerto na classificação, com destaque para a ESV que apresentou maior índice (86,3%), seguida do IRDBR (84,0%), QVV (80,9%), IDV (78,2%) e IDV-10 (75,2%). Conclusão A ESV apresenta maior índice de assertividade na identificação da disfonia, seguida do IRDBR. O IRDBR é uma ferramenta curta, simples e de fácil aplicação para procedimentos de rastreio.

ABSTRACT Purpose to map the vocal assessment measures used to verify the effect of the intervention in vocally healthy individuals. Research strategy This is a scope review based on the research question: What vocal assessment measures are used to verify the effect of the intervention in vocally healthy individuals? The search was carried out electronically in MEDLINE (PubMed), LILACS (BVS), Scopus (Elsevier), Web of Science (Clarivate), Embase and Cochrane databases. Selection criteria The selection of studies was based on reading the titles, abstracts, keywords and full texts, applying the eligibility criteria. Data related to the publication’s bibliographic information, sample and intervention characteristics, the effects of the intervention on self-assessment, auditory-perceptual, acoustic, aerodynamic, electroglottographic measures, laryngeal examination results, among others, were extracted. The data were summarized and presented in a quantitative and descriptive way. Results 97 articles were selected, among the 979 studies mapped in this review. Acoustic analysis was the most used measure (n=70, 72.3%) to verify the effects of vocal training in the selected studies, followed by electroglottography (n= 55, 56.7%), self-assessment (n= 38, 39 .2%), aerodynamics (n= 33, 34.0%), auditory-perceptual judgment (n= 22, 22.7%) and laryngeal examination (n= 16, 16.5%). Conclusion Acoustic analysis is the measure used in most studies to verify the effect of the intervention in vocally healthy individuals.

RESUMO Objetivo mapear as medidas de avaliação vocal utilizadas para verificar o efeito da intervenção em indivíduos vocalmente saudáveis. Estratégia de pesquisa trata-se de uma revisão de escopo baseada na questão de pesquisa: “Quais as medidas de avaliação vocal utilizadas para verificar o efeito da intervenção em indivíduos vocalmente saudáveis?” A busca foi realizada de forma eletrônica nas bases de dados MEDLINE (PubMed), LILACS (BVS), Scopus (Elsevier), Web of Science (Clarivate), Embase e Cochrane. Critérios de seleção a seleção dos estudos foi baseada na leitura dos títulos, resumos, palavras-chave e textos completos, aplicando-se os critérios de elegibilidade. Foram extraídos os dados relacionados às informações bibliográficas da publicação, características da amostra e da intervenção, os efeitos da intervenção nas medidas de autoavaliação, perceptivo-auditivas, acústicas, aerodinâmicas, eletroglotográficas, resultado do exame laríngeo, entre outros. Os dados foram resumidos e apresentados de forma quantitativa e descritiva. Resultados foram selecionados 97 artigos, entre os 979 estudos mapeados nesta revisão. A análise acústica foi a medida mais utilizada (n=70, 72,3%) para verificar os efeitos do treinamento vocal nos estudos selecionados, seguida pela eletroglotografia (n= 55, 56,7%), autoavaliação (n= 38, 39,2%), aerodinâmica (n= 33, 34,0%), julgamento perceptivo-auditivo (n= 22, 22,7%) e exame laríngeo (n= 16, 16,5%). Conclusão a análise acústica é a medida utilizada na maioria dos estudos para verificar o efeito da intervenção em indivíduos vocalmente saudáveis.
