To discover new bisamide compounds with insecticidal and fungicidal activities, 19 novel cyproflanilide derivatives containing 1,2,4-oxadiazole group were designed and synthesized according to the principle of biologically active factor splicing. Preliminary biological assay data indicated that the majority of target compounds demonstrated significant insecticidal activity against Lepidopteran pests. Meanwhile, compounds 5p and 5q showed 97.22 and 100% lethality against Tetranychus cinnabarinus at 400 mg L-1, which were better than cyproflanilide (41.11% at 400 mg L-1). In addition, it is exciting that we have achieved our initial goals as some of the target compounds exhibited both insecticidal and fungicidal activities. For instance, compounds 5b and 5c showed 59.26 and 74.07% fungicidal activities against Cucumber downy mildew at 400 mg L-1, as well as 100% insecticidal activity against Plutella xylostella and armyworm at 100 mg L-1. Compound 5h showed 100% insecticidal activity against armyworm at 10 mg L-1, and also displayed 66.67% fungicidal activity against Cucumber downy mildew at 400 mg L-1. The inhibition rate of compounds 5l and 5s against Cucumber downy mildew reached 88.89 and 96.30% at 400 mg L-1. This work showed the effectively fungicidal application of 1,2,4-oxadiazole group in bisamide compounds and provides insights for optimal structural design.

SUMMARY: The objective of this study was to evaluate the changes of head and cervical spine posture of skeletal class malocclusion in adolescent with maxillary protraction. Thirty cases of skeletal class malocclusion were randomly selected from the Stomatological Hospital of Shanxi Medical University. High-quality lateral cephalograms were collected including pre- and posttreatment to compare the changes of head and cervical spine posture. Data were processed using SPSS 26.0 statistical software. The paired-t test was used to compare pre- and posttreatment mean angular measurements.A significant difference in the SNA(p<0.001), SNB(p<0.01), and ANB(p<0.001) between T1 and T2 showed an improvement in the sagittal relationships. A significant change was observed in middle cervical spine posture, while upper cervical spine posture variables showed no significant difference after treatment. Skeletal class with maxillary protraction appliance not only led to the improvement of sagittal relationship, but also changed the middle cervical spine posture.

RESUMEN: El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar los cambios en la postura de la cabeza y la columna cervical debido a la maloclusión clase esquelética en adolescentes con protracción maxilar. Treinta casos de maloclusión de clase esquelética fueron seleccionados al azar del Hospital Estomatológico de la Universidad Médica de Shanxi. Se recogieron cefalogramas laterales de alta calidad, incluidos el tratamiento previo y posterior, para comparar los cambios en la postura de la cabeza y la columna cervical. Los datos se procesaron con el software estadístico SPSS 26.0. Se utilizó la prueba t pareada para comparar las medidas angulares medias antes y después del tratamiento. Una diferencia significativa en SNA (p <0,001), SNB (p <0,01) y ANB (p <0,001) entre T1 y T2 mostró una mejora en las relaciones sagitales. Se observó un cambio significativo en la postura de la columna cervical media, mientras que las variables de postura de la columna cervical superior no mostraron diferencias significativas después del tratamiento. La clase esquelética con aparato de protracción maxilar no solo condujo a la mejora de la relación sagital, sino que también cambió la postura de la columna cervical media.

Abstract Objective: To investigate the safety and efficacy of short-term (7-day) Dual Antiplatelet Therapy (DAPT) with intensive rosuvastatin in Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS). Methods: In this study, patients with AIS in the emergency department of the hospital from October 2016 to December 2019 were registered and divided into the control group (Single Antiplatelet Therapy [SAPT] + rosuvastatin) and the study group (7-day DAPT + intensive rosuvastatin) according to the therapy regimens. The generalized linear model was used to compare the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores between the two groups during the 21-day treatment. A Cox regression model was used to compare recurrent ischemic stroke, bleeding events, Statin-Induced Liver Injury (SILI), and Statin-Associated Myopathy (SAM) between the two groups during the 90-day follow-up. Results: Comparison of NIHSS scores after 21-day treatment: NIHSS scores in the study group decreased significantly, 0.273-times as much as that in the control group (Odds Ratio [OR] 0.273; 95% Confidence Interval [95% CI] 0.208–0.359; p < 0.001). Comparison of recurrent ischemic stroke during the 90-day follow-up: The therapy of the study group reduced the risk of recurrent stroke by 65% (7.76% vs. 22.82%, Hazard Ratio [HR] 0.350; 95% CI 0.167–0.730; p = 0.005). Comparison of bleeding events: There was no statistical difference between the two groups (7.79% vs. 6.71%, HR = 1.076; 95% CI 0.424–2.732; p = 0.878). No cases of SILI and SAM were found. Conclusions: Short-term DAPT with intensive rosuvastatin effectively relieved the clinical symptoms and significantly reduced the recurrent stroke for patients with mild-to-moderate AIS within 90 days, without increasing bleeding events, SILI and SAM. Abstract Background Fever is a common symptom of Idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM). However, the exact correlation between fever and the prognosis of IIM is still unclear. This study aims to clarify if the IIM patients initiated with fever are associated with poorer outcomes. Methods This was a single-center retrospective cohort study. Data were collected from 79 newly diagnosed, treatment-naive IIM patients in the Affiliated Wuxi People's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University (Wuxi, Jiangsu, China) from November 2016 to June 2020. According to the presence or absence of fever at the onset, the IIM patients were divided into two groups(fever group n = 28, without fever group n = 51) Clinical characteristics, laboratory data, treatment, and outcomes were recorded. The Kaplan-Meier and log-rank tests were used to compare the all-cause mortality, relapse rate, and acute exacerbation of interstitial lung disease (AE-ILD) incidence. The association of fever with the outcomes was assessed in the unadjusted and adjusted forward logistic regression model. Results Compared with the non-fever group, the age at onset of the fever group was higher, and mechanic's hands (MH) and interstitial lung disease (ILD) were more common. Systemic inflammation (CRP and ESR) was significantly higher in the fever group, while the level of albumin(ALB) and muscle enzymes were lower. The fever group seemed to be received more aggressive treatment, with higher dose glucocorticoids and higher rates of intravenous immunoglobulins(IVIG) use. The all-cause mortality rate and the incidence rate of AE-ILD were higher in the fever group. Even adjusted for the age at onset and treatments, fever was significantly associated with AE-ILD and all-cause mortality. Conclusion Our study has demonstrated that fever at initial diagnosis is associated with AE-ILD and mortality. Fever should serve as an early clinical warning sign for poor outcomes in IIM patients.

Abstract LncRNAs are known to be key regulators in the initiation and development of diverse cancers. Whether LINC00115 is involved in the regulation of gastric cancer (GC) progression remains unclear. Here, we aimed to show the function of LINC00115 in GC. RT-qPCR was used to measure gene expression in GC tissues and cells. Colony formation, EdU, TUNEL, and wound healing assays were used to analyze cellular processes in GC. The in vivo GC xenograft model was established. We observed that LINC00115 was highly expressed in GC. Functionally, silencing LINC00115 inhibited GC cell proliferation, and migration but facilitated GC apoptosis. Mechanistically, LINC00115 sponged miR-212-5p, while miR-212-5p targeted ATPAF1 in GC cells. Rescue assays showed ATPAF1 overexpression countervailed the inhibitory role of LINC00115 depletion in GC progression in vitro and in vivo. Overall, LINC00115 promoted GC progression by upregulating ATPAF1 via miR-212-5p.

ABSTRACT In the process of rice harvesting, the passability of the track combine harvester is often limited by the state of the soil. Meanwhile, wet and soft paddy soil is compacted under the rolling of harvesting machinery, which also affects the soil function and the ecological environment. Therefore, the relationship between the physical and mechanical properties of wet and soft paddy soil was studied in this paper. In addition, compaction from a track combine harvester on field soil with and without rice stubble was studied. The density and gradation of wet and soft paddy soil were positively correlated with cohesion and negatively correlated with the internal friction angle. In paddy soil with a moisture content of 16–36%, the soil moisture content was negatively correlated with cohesion and internal friction angle. Additionally, the plastic deformation of soil with rice stubble under compaction was greater than that without rice stubble, and the plastic deformation of the field with rice stubble mainly occurred in the second rolling stage. Increasing the speed of the track combine harvester effectively reduced the compaction risk of rice stubble soil.

RESUMO Introdução O treino de fortalecimento do core tem sido amplamente utilizado no treinamento esportivo competitivo, alcançando resultados notáveis no treino esportivo mais acirrado ao maximizar a força e precisão dos atletas. Acredita-se que um protocolo específico para as tenistas universitárias possa causar os mesmos resultados. Objetivo Verificar a eficácia do treinamento de força do core no treinamento de tenistas universitárias. Métodos Estudo randomizado controlado de tenistas universitárias (n=40) com protocolo específico de fortalecimento de core para fortalecimento versus métodos tradicionais de treino de força. Foram comparadas as alterações das habilidades táticas pré e pós experimento. O tratamento estatístico descritivo dos resultados coletados foi confrontado com a literatura atual. Resultados Comparado com o treinamento de força tradicional, o treinamento de força do core revelou-se mais propício ao desenvolvimento da força do core em tenistas universitárias. Conclusão O treinamento de força do core auxilia no desenvolvimento da habilidade e tática das tenistas universitárias. Nível de evidência II; Estudos terapêuticos - Investigação de resultados.

ABSTRACT Introduction Core strength training has been extensively used in competitive sports training, achieving remarkable results in the most competitive sports training by maximizing athletes’ strength and accuracy. It is believed that a specific protocol for female university tennis players can bring the same results. Objective Verify the effectiveness of core strength training in the performance of female university tennis players. Methods Randomized controlled trial of female university tennis players (n=40) with a specific core strength training protocol versus traditional strength training methods. Changes in tactical skills pre and post-experiment were compared. Descriptive statistical treatment of the collected results was confronted with current literature. Results Compared with traditional strength training, core strength training proved to be more conducive to developing core strength in female college tennis players. SUMMARY: This study aimed to compare the clinical value of carotid ultrasound and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) for carotid artery stenosis in patients with cerebral infarction. Sixty patients with cerebral infarction underwent carotid ultrasound and DSA. Carotid artery stenosis, degree of stenosis (mild, moderate, severe, and occlusion), and carotid artery plaques were recorded and compared. Carotid stenosis rate was 96.67 % (58/60) and 91.67 % (55/60) on DSA and carotid ultrasound, respectively, and the difference was not statistically significant. Mild, moderate, and severe carotid artery stenosis and occlusion were diagnosed in 35, 28, 20, and 17 arteries, respectively, with DSA, and in 39, 25, 10, and 9 arteries, respectively, with carotid ultrasound. There was a statistically significant difference in the degree of carotid stenosis between the two methods (p<0.05). The kappa value of carotid plaques detected by carotid ultrasound and DSA was 0.776, indicating good consistency. Both carotid ultrasound and DSA are effective for screening carotid artery stenosis and carotid atherosclerotic plaques. While carotid ultrasound is faster and more convenient, DSA can more accurately detect the degree of stenosis and presence of occlusion. Thus, our recommendation is a combination of carotid ultrasound and DSA in clinical settings to improve the convenience and accuracy of diagnosis.

RESUMEN: Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comparar el valor clínico de la ecografía carotídea y la angiografía por sustracción digital (DSA) para la estenosis de la arteria carótida en pacientes con infarto cerebral. Sesenta pacientes con infarto cerebral fueron sometidos a ecografía carotídea y DSA. Se registraron y compararon la estenosis de la arteria carótida, el grado de estenosis (leve, moderada, grave y oclusión) y las placas de la arteria carótida. La tasa de estenosis carotídea fue del 96,67 % (58/60) y del 91,67 % (55/60) en DSA y ecografía carotídea, respectivamente, y la diferencia no fue estadísticamente significativa. Se diagnosticaron estenosis y oclusión de la arteria carótida leve, moderada y grave en 35, 28, 20 y 17 arterias, respectivamente, con DSA, y en 39, 25, 10 y 9 arterias, respectivamente, con ecografía carotídea. Hubo una diferencia estadísticamente significativa en el grado de estenosis carotídea entre los dos métodos (p<0,05). El valor kappa de las placas carotídeas detectadas por ecografía carotídea y DSA fue de 0,776, lo que indica una buena consistencia. Tanto la ecografía carotídea como la DSA son eficaces para detectar la estenosis de la arteria carótida y las placas ateroscleróticas carotídeas. Si bien la ecografía carotídea es más rápida y conveniente, la DSA puede detectar con mayor precisión el grado de estenosis y la presencia de oclusión. Por lo tanto, nuestra recomendación es una combinación de ecografía carotídea y DSA en entornos clínicos para mejorar la conveniencia y precisión del diagnóstico.

Abstract The bacterial diversity on the surface of the Chinese Wolfberry (Lycium barbarum) affects the storage tolerance of the fruit. We analyzed the bacterial diversity on the surfaces of eight varieties of Chinese wolfberries using high-throughput sequencing before and after storage. A total of 737 OTUs, including 584 species, 423 genera, 243 families, 153 orders, and 62 classes, were identified by bioinformatic analysis of the OTUs at the 97% similarity level. There were no significant differences among fruit varieties just after picking (O period). The dominant genera during the O period were Massilia and Pseudomonas. However, after a 144-hour storage period (S period), there were significant changes in both the decay rate and surface bacterial compositions. The Z1 variety showed the highest rate of decay, and its surface microbiota was dominated by Pantoea (84.34%), while the variety with the lowest decay rate was O, dominated by both Pantoea (69.06%) and Rosenbergiella (16.99%).

Abstract Illumina MiSeq high-throughput sequencing technology was used to study the microbial community structure of medium-temperature Daqu produced via a digitally managed method and the traditional method. The relationship between the changes in physicochemical properties and microorganisms in Daqu during the fermentation process was analyzed. At the end of fermentation, the bacterial diversity of traditional medium-temperature Daqu was higher than that of digital medium-temperature Daqu, and there was no significant difference in the diversity of fungal communities. The dominant bacteria were Weissella, Lactobacillus, Pediococcus and Saccharopolyspora. The dominant fungi were Thermoascus, Issatchenkia and Candia. On the 25th day of fermentation, the bacterial community distribution in the digital Daqu was more even than that in the traditional Daqu, but the fungal community distribution was the opposite. The results of nonmetric multidimensional scale (NMDS) analysis and canonical correlation analysis (CCA) show that Daqu produced by the two fermentation methods had many similarities.

Resumo Embora a qualidade do serviço e a satisfação do cliente tenham sido frequentemente discutidas na investigação turística, as suas conexões com fatores emocionais raramente têm sido investigadas num contexto de museu. O Museu de Antropologia de Guangxi foca-se em minorias étnicas únicas, e é usado como estudo de caso neste artigo. Este estudo examina as relações entre os fatores que influenciam o apego emocional, a satisfação, a lealdade conativa e a qualidade percebida dos visitantes. A modelagem de equações estruturais (PLS-SEM) foi utilizada para modelar as relações entre esses quatro construtos, tendo sido avaliada uma amostra de 184 visitantes do museu. O modelo conceitual suporta todas as hipóteses propostas. Os resultados mostram influências positivas entre o apego emocional, a satisfação dos visitantes e a qualidade percebida, o que pode de fato afetar a lealdade conativa dos visitantes a um museu específico.

Abstract Although service quality and customer satisfaction have been frequently discussed by scholars in tourism research, their connections with emotional factors have rarely been investigated in a museum context. The Anthropology Museum of Guangxi focuses on unique ethnic minorities, which is used as the case study in this paper. This study examines the relationships among the factors that influence visitors’ emotional attachment, satisfaction, conative loyalty, and perceived quality. Structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to model the relations among these four constructs, a 184-visitor sample is assessed, and the conceptual model supports all the proposed hypotheses. The results show positive influences among emotional attachment, visitor satisfaction, and perceived quality, which may indeed affect visitors’ conative loyalty to a specific museum. The practical applications are suggested based on findings that the conative loyalty of museum visitors is relatively influenced by their emotional connection and that emotional arousal can promote the acceptance of museum tourism.

Abstract Objective Construct validity for the Motor Development Scale (MDS) has not been established. The aim of this study was to examine whether the unidimensional model of MDS would be appropriate for children aged 4 to 6 years-old and provide construct validity for the items concerning this age group in Brazil. Methods A total of 938 children participated in the study (214 4-year-olds, 643 5-year-olds, and 81 6-year-olds). Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was used to evaluate construct validity of the MDS using a unidimensional model. Results The CFA for the unidimensional model showed excellent adequacy indices for age 4: χ2(2) = 0.581, p = 0.748, comparative fit index (CFI) = 1.000, Tucker-Lewis index (TLI) = 1.090, root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) = 0.000 (90% confidence interval [90%CI] = 0.000 to 0.093, close fit [Cfit] = 0.841); age 5: χ2(2) = 2.669, p = 0.263, CFI = 0.993, TLI = 0.980, RMSEA = 0.023 (90%CI = 0.000 to 0.085, Cfit = 0.682), weighted root mean square residual (WRMR) = 0.407; and age 6: χ2(9) = 8.275, p = 0.506, CFI = 1.000, TLI = 1.010, RMSEA = 0.000 (90%CI = 0.000 to 0.118, Cfit = 0.653), WRMR = 0.495. Reliability was good: ω = 0.87 (95%CI = 0.81 to 0.92). Conclusion The proposed unidimensional solution for the MDS provides a concise, parsimonious and reliable way to assess motor development in children aged 4 to 6 years.
