RESUMO Introdução O acompanhamento psicológico e a intervenção psicológica dos jogadores de basquete tem sido foco de atenção no treinamento esportivo. No basquetebol, os jogadores consomem muita energia física e também muita energia mental. A tensão psicológica e as alterações emocionais fazem com que os jogadores de basquetebol restrinjam suas habilidades técnicas. Objetivo Analisar a relação entre a fadiga mental induzida pelo esporte e as emoções pré-jogo nos jogadores de basquete. Métodos Este trabalho seleciona 40 jogadores de basquetebol como voluntários de pesquisa. Utilizou-se um questionário de pesquisa e estatísticas matemáticas para analisar a relação entre a fadiga mental dos jogadores de basquetebol, o nível de treinamento e as emoções pré-jogo. Este trabalho analisa a relação entre a qualidade psicológica e o nível de treinamento dos jogadores de basquetebol. Resultados Houve correlações significativas entre as várias dimensões da fadiga mental induzida pelo esporte e a emoção no pré-jogo dos jogadores de basquete. A autoconfiança dos jogadores de basquetebol antes do jogo é afetada principalmente pela competência dos jogos de treinamento e pelo consumo excessivo de energia. Conclusão A qualidade psicológica dos jogadores de basquetebol está significativamente correlacionada com o nível de treinamento. Os atletas devem prestar atenção ao treinamento de qualidade psicológica nas competições esportivas. Nível de evidência II; Estudos terapêuticos - investigação dos resultados do tratamento.

ABSTRACT Introduction Psychological monitoring and psychological intervention of basketball players has been a focus of attention in sports training. In basketball, players consume much physical energy and also much mental energy. Psychological tension and emotional changes cause basketball players to restrict their technical abilities. Objective Analyze the relationship between sport-induced mental fatigue and pre-game emotions in basketball players. Methods This paper selects 40 basketball players as research volunteers. A survey questionnaire and mathematical statistics were used to analyze the relationship between basketball players’ mental fatigue, training level, and pre-game emotions. This paper analyzes the relationship between psychological quality and training level of basketball players. Results There were significant correlations between various dimensions of sport-induced mental fatigue and basketball players’ pregame emotions. Basketball players’ pre-game self-confidence is mainly affected by training game competence and excessive energy consumption. Conclusion The psychological quality of basketball players is significantly correlated with the level of training. Athletes should pay attention to psychological quality training in sports competitions. Level of evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation of treatment outcomes.

Objetivo Analizar la relación entre la fatiga mental inducida por el deporte y las emociones previas al partido en jugadores de baloncesto. Métodos Este trabajo selecciona a 40 jugadores de baloncesto como voluntarios para la investigación. Para analizar la relación entre la fatiga mental de los jugadores de baloncesto, el nivel de entrenamiento y las emociones previas al partido se utilizó un cuestionario de encuesta y estadísticas matemáticas. Este artículo analiza la relación entre la calidad psicológica y el nivel de entrenamiento de los jugadores de baloncesto. Resultados Hubo correlaciones significativas entre las diversas dimensiones de la fatiga mental inducida por el deporte y las emociones previas al partido de los jugadores de baloncesto. La autoconfianza de los jugadores de baloncesto antes del partido se ve afectada principalmente por la competencia del juego de entrenamiento y el consumo excesivo de energía. Conclusión La calidad psicológica de los jugadores de baloncesto está significativamente correlacionada con el nivel de entrenamiento. Los deportistas deben prestar atención a la calidad psicológica del entrenamiento en las competiciones deportivas. Abstract Objective To investigate the indoor environmental risk factors to provide measures for the prevention and control of otitis in preschool children. Method In this cross-sectional study, a questionnaire survey was administered to preschool children aged 2-7 years from 60 kindergartens in six districts of Urumqi City in August 2019. Multiple regression was run to predict influence factors for otitis media in preschool children. Result A total of 8153 valid questionnaires were collected. After adjusting for age, the prevalence of otitis among preschool children in Urumqi was 13.1%. Multivariate logistic regression showed that previous antibiotic treatment, treatment with one to two antibiotics before 1 year of age, presence of walls with aqueous or latex paint, use of carpet floor bedding in rooms, newly decorated homes of mothers before pregnancy, purchase of new furniture for homes of children at 0-1 year of age, and presence of flowering plants in the residence of children at 0-1 years of age were all identified as risk factors for the development of otitis in children. Conclusion Parents should also pay attention to indoor living environments, and reduce indoor renovation in the homes of children during their growth and development, which can positively improve children's indoor living environment, thus effectively preventing otitis in preschool children.

Abstract Danzhi Jiangtang capsule (DJC), a traditional medicinal formula composed of cortex moutan, heterophylly falsestarwort root, unprocessed rehmannia root, oriental waterplantain rhizome, dodder seed and leech, has been used to treat type 2 diabetes in clinic for almost 10 years. In addition, DJC was also confirmed that it could relieved oxidative stress of vascular endothelium in diabetic macroangiopathy. Based on the fact that the DJC could regulated the level of free fatty acids in diabetes patients and the constituents of DJC also possess potential anti-hyperlipidemic effect, thus, the present work aimed to evaluate the anti-hyperlipidemic effect of DJC and further investigated potential molecular mechanism of this action. As in vivo results revealed, DJC could reduced the levels of TC, TG, LDL, increased HDL level as well as decreased the level of ALT and AST of model rats. In addition, DJC also showed significant antioxidant effect by decreasing the level of MDA and increasing the level of SOD and GSH-Px. Furthermore, western blot analysis showed that DJC could up-regulated the expression of phosphorylated JAK2 and STAT3, and down-regulated the expression of SCOC3 protein, which indicated that DJC could regulate the metabolism of lipid via JAK2/STAT3 pathway.

Abstract Due to chronic alcohol consumption, alcoholic liver disease (ALD) has become the second most common liver disease in the world. The study was to explore the effects of consuming different amounts of various alcoholic beverages on the liver of mice. Results showed wine contained far more polyphenols and organic acids than beer and Chinese Baijiu. When daily alcohol consumption was low (less than 100 mL/60 kg/day), the liver and serum indicators of mice treated with alcohol, beer, Chinese Baijiu, and wine were not significantly different from those in saline group. At 250 mL/60 kg/day, beer used significantly damaged the liver and caused adverse changes in serum components, while wine did not cause changes in serum, indicating that it may cause less damage due to the existence of a large number of polyphenols. When the daily consumption exceeded 500 mL/60 kg/day, all four alcoholic beverages significantly increased serum markers of hepatic injury and decreased serum total antioxidant capacity and liver antioxidant enzyme levels, resulting in liver fat accumulation and serious pathological damage. At this level, beer used caused the most damage and wine the least. This study explores the appropriate drinking amount of different alcoholic beverages and provides a scientific reference for alcohol consumption.

Abstract Lagopsis supina (Steph) IK. Gal. was a traditional Chinese medicinal plant for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis (PBCRBS), anti-inflammatory and diuresis with little scientific validation. The aims of this study were first to evaluate the PBCRBS and anti-inflammatory effects of L. supina in a rat model of traumatic blood stasis (TBS). We demonstrated that an ethanolic extract of L. supina (LS, 460 mg/kg/d) possessed significant PBCRBS and remarkable inhibitory effect on inflammation cytokines, which were associated with renovated amount of the injured muscle fibers, alleviate the degree of the damaged tissue edema, decreased the number of inflammatory cells, increased the number of the capillary hyperplasia by hematoxylin and eosin (HE), as well as remarkably down-regulated ( p < 0.05 or p < 0.01) the levels of inflammation cytokines, including TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8, and IL-10 by ELISA. This finding provide a pharmacological basis and partial interpretation for the clinical application of L. supina, which has therapeutic properties for blood stasis syndrome (BSS) and inflammation-related diseases.

ABSTRACT Purpose: To investigate the role of renal denervation (RDN) on endogenous ouabain (EO) secretion in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR). Methods: Sixteen 12-week-old male SHR were randomly separated into the renal denervation group (RDNX group) and sham operation group (sham group), and eight age-matched Wistar Kyoto rats (WKY) were served as control group. EO concentrations, the Na+- K+-ATPaseactivity, and the expression of Na+-K+-ATPase were assessed. Results: EO levels in serum, kidneys and hypothalamus of sham group were higher than in RDNX group (p < 0.05). Renal Na+-K+-ATPase activity subjected to denervation surgery showed significantly reduction when compared with the sham groups (p < 0.05). A positive correlation existed between norepinephrine (NE) content and Na+-K+-ATPase activity in the kidney (r2 = 0.579). Renal Na+-K+-ATPase α1 subunit mRNA expression was down-regulated in the RDNX group compared with the sham group (P < 0.05), while renal Na+-K+-ATPase α1 subunit mRNA expression was no statistical significance between the groups (P = 0.63). Immunohistochemical analysis showed that there were significant differences in the renal expression of Na+-K+-ATPasebetween the three groups (P < 0.05). Conclusions: These experiments demonstrate that RDN exerted an anti-hypertensive effect with reduction of EO levels and Na+-K+-ATPase activity and Na+-K+-ATPase α1 subunit expression of kidney in SHR.

Abstract Severe community-acquired pneumonia (SCAP) is a common critical disease in the intensive care unit (ICU). This study aims to evaluate the clinical significance of miR-181b in SCAP, which has been revealed to be dysregulated in acute respiratory distress syndrome events due to SCAP. There were 50 SCAP patients and 26 healthy volunteers were recruited in this study. The expression of miR-181b was detected by RT-qPCR and the difference between SCAP and healthy controls was evaluated. The diagnosis and prognosis value of miR-181b was assessed by the receiver operating characteristics (ROC), Kaplan-Meier, and Cox regression analysis. miR-181b was significantly downregulated in SCAP compared with healthy controls. The downregulation of miR-181b showed a significant association with the white blood cell count, absolute neutrophils, and the C-reactive protein of patients. The downregulation of miR-181b could distinguish SCAP patients from healthy controls and predicate the poor prognosis of SCAP patients. Downregulated miR-181b serves as a diagnosis and prognosis biomarker for SCAP, which may be useful biological information for the early detection and risk estimation of SCAP.

RESUMO OBJETIVO O estresse psicológico é um importante problema de saúde mental entre estudantes universitários. O objetivo deste estudo foi determinar o estresse psicológico e seus fatores de risco associados entre os estudantes na província de Anhui. MÉTODOS Um estudo transversal foi realizado entre uma amostra de 1.304 indivíduos. Nesse estudo, foi preenchido um questionário autoaplicável que consiste na demografia geral e no Questionário Geral de Saúde (GHQ-12). O problema psicológico foi avaliado utilizando o questionário GHQ de 12 itens. Uma divisão dicotômica de categoria foi imposta ao GHQ-12 para efeito de análise. Uma pontuação de quatro ou mais no GHQ-12 mostrava que um indivíduo tem problemas psicológicos. Os dados foram analisados pelo software SPSS 20.0. RESULTADOS Um total de 1.304 amostras foi analisado neste estudo. Os resultados indicaram que o nível de educação do pai e da mãe estava associado com estudantes em estresse psicológico (P<0,001). Foi encontrada uma associação significativa entre o exercício de alta intensidade e o exercício de baixa intensidade com o estresse psicológico. No entanto, não foi identificada qualquer diferença significativa entre o gênero e o estresse psicológico (P=0,173). CONCLUSÃO O nível de educação dos pais, exercícios de alta intensidade e exercícios de baixa intensidade foram associados com estresse psicológico. Nossos resultados sugerem que é indispensável aumentar a sensibilização para as perturbações psicológicas e para os fatores de risco associados aos estudantes universitários. São necessários mais estudos para desenvolver intervenções adequadas para grupos de alto risco.

SUMMARY OBJECTIVE Psychological distress is an important mental health problem among university students. The goal of this study was to determine psychological distress and its associated risk factors among students in the Anhui province. METHODS A cross-sectional study was conducted in a sample of 1304 students. In this study, a self-administered questionnaire consisting of the general demography and General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12) was completed. Psychological distress was assessed using the GHQ-12-item questionnaire. A dichotomous category split was imposed on the GHQ-12 for the purpose of analysis. A GHQ-12 score of 4 or higher indicated psychological distress. The data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 system. RESULTS A total of 1304 samples were analyzed in this study. The results indicated that the education level of the father and mother was associated with the students’ psychological distress (P<0.001). A significant association was found between high-intensity exercise and low-intensity exercise and psychological distress. However, no significant difference was identified between gender and psychological distress (P=0.173). CONCLUSION The education level of parents, high-intensity exercise, and low-intensity exercise were associated with psychological distress. Our results suggest that it is indispensable to raise awareness of psychological disorders and its associated risk factors among university students. Further studies are required to develop appropriate interventions for high-risk groups.

ABSTRACT Candida is one of the most frequent pathogens of bloodstream infections, which is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates. Rapid immunological detection methods are essential in the early diagnosis of candidemia. Anti-mannan is one of host-derived biomarkers against cell wall components of Candida. We conducted this study to evaluate the diagnostic performance of two anti-mannan assays (IgM, IgG) for candidemia through the analysis of 40 candidemia patients, 48 participants with Candida colonization and 213 participants with neither Candida colonization nor Candida infections (13 patients with other bloodstream infections, 145 hospitalized patients and 55 healthy controls). The performance of the two assays were evaluated by calculating their sensitivity and specificity. The sensitivity ranged from 0.78 to 0.80 for the IgM assay and 0.68 to 0.75 for the IgG assay. The specificity ranged from 0.97 to 0.98 for the IgM assay and 0.91 to 0.94 for the IgG assay. The diagnostic performance of the anti-mannan IgM assay was better than that of IgG, with higher sensitivity and specificity. Combining the two assays (positive results of single or both assays are both considered as positive) could improve the sensitivity up to 0.93 (0.79-0.98) and only slightly reduce the specificity (0.93(0.89-0.95)). The anti-mannan IgM, IgG assays are rapid and cost-effective assays that may be probably useful in the diagnosis of candidemia.

In this work, we investigated the effect of yttrium(Y) on microstructure, the mechanical and corrosion properties and the cytotoxicity of Zn-1.5Mg-xY(x=0, 0.2, 0.5wt%) alloys prepared by casting and extrusion. The results showed that the microstructure of extruded Zn-1.5Mg-xY alloys consisted of α-Zn matrix, Mg2Zn11 particles and Y containing blocks. The tensile strength and compressive strength of Zn-1.5Mg-xY alloys improve with the increase of Y content. Alloying with Y also had an impact on the corrosion resistance of Zn-Mg alloys. In terms of toxicity, the cells cultured in the leachate of Zn-1.5Mg-xY alloys with concentrations of 25% and 50% showed good growth morphology with the relative proliferation rate (RGR) values being greater than 100% and the cytotoxicity level being 0, the addition of Y has little effect on the compatibility of alloy with cells.

Mg-3Zn-0.5Sr-xCa(wt.%) (x=0, 0.2, 0.5) alloys were fabricated by casting and hot extrusion. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and optical microscopy observation showed that the microstructure of Mg-3Zn-0.5Sr-xCa alloys was composed of α-Mg matrix and Mg17Sr2 phase precipitated along grain boundaries. The tensile strength of the alloy increased from 255MPa to 305MPa with increasing Ca content from 0 to 0.5wt%, but the elongation to fracture of the alloys was 19.45%, 28.7% and 15.2% respectively, indicating that coarse precipitation increased the risk of crack initiation and propagation along the grain boundaries leading to reduced ductility of Mg alloys. The polarization curves revealed that Mg-3Zn-0.5Sr-0.2Ca has the highest corrosion potential and the lowest corrosion current density indicating the optimum corrosion resistance. In cytotoxicity test, Mg-3Zn-0.5Sr-xCa alloys were harmless to mouse osteoblastic and Mg-3Zn-0.5Sr-0.2Ca alloy exhibited optimal biocompatibility.
