Abstract This article aimed to analyze how institutional racism at a Brazilian public university affects the lives of Black students. This mixed study was developed by applying an online self-administered questionnaire to university students who self-declared as Blacks. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, bivariate analysis using chi-square, and multinomial logistic regression. Qualitative data analysis was performed using IRAMUTEQ. Sixty-eight (54.4%) of the 125 respondents claimed to have suffered racism at least once within the university. We noticed that racist situations experienced by Black people within the university environment call into question the student’s self-confidence and motivation, directly affecting their mental health and performance in the course. The importance of receptive groups for strengthening students’ belonging was highlighted.

Resumo O objetivo do artigo foi analisar como o racismo institucional em uma universidade pública brasileira afeta a vida de estudantes negros e negras. Trata-se de um estudo misto, desenvolvido por meio da aplicação de questionário autoaplicado online a estudantes universitários que se autodeclararam negros. Os dados quantitativos foram analisados por estatística descritiva, análise bivariável por meio do qui-quadrado e regressão logística multinominal. A análise dos dados qualitativos foi feita no Iramuteq. Do total de 125 respondentes, 68 (54,4%) afirmaram ter sofrido racismo pelo menos uma vez dentro da universidade. Percebeu-se que as situações racistas vividas pelas pessoas negras dentro do ambiente universitário colocam em questão a autoconfiança e a motivação do estudante, afetando diretamente a sua saúde mental e seu desempenho no curso. Evidenciou-se a importância dos coletivos para acolhimento e fortalecimento do pertencimento dos estudantes.

ABSTRACT Purpose: This study aimed to assess and interpret how vitreoretinal surgeons use surgical videos available on social media as complementary learning tools to improve, review, or update their abilities, considering their different levels of expertise. Methods: In this cross-sectional survey, an online survey was sent to vitreoretinal specialists and fellows. Results: This survey included 258 participants, of whom 53.88% had been in practice for >10 years (senior surgeons), 29.07% between 4 and 10 years (young surgeons), and 17.05% for <3 years (surgeons in training). Retinal surgical videos available on social media were used by 98.84% of the participants (95% confidence interval, 97.52%-100%). YouTube (91%) was the most common source of videos, and surgeons in training watched more videos on YouTube than senior surgeons. Regarding the preferred method when preparing for a procedure, 49.80% of the participants watched surgical videos available on social media, 26.27% preferred to “consult colleagues”, and 18.82% preferred to seek information in scientific articles. Participants valued the most the “image quality” (88%) and presence of “surgical tips and tricks” (85%). Conclusion: Surgical videos can provide benefits in acquiring strategic skills, such as decision-making, surgical planning, and situational awareness. Retina surgeons used them as teaching aids regardless of their level of expertise, despite being relatively more valuable to surgeons in training or young surgeons.

RESUMO Objetivo: Avaliar e interpretar como os cirurgiões vitreorretinianos utilizam os vídeos cirúrgicos disponíveis nas mídias sociais como ferramentas complementares de aprendizagem para melhorar, revisar ou atualizar suas habilidades, considerando seus diferentes níveis de especialização. Métodos: Nesta pesquisa transversal, um survey online foi enviado à especialistas e aprendizes na área vítreo-retiniana. Resultados: Esta pesquisa incluiu 258 participantes, dos quais 53,88% atuavam há mais de 10 anos (cirurgiões seniores), 29,07% entre 4 e 10 anos (cirurgiões jovens) e 17,05% há menos de 3 anos (cirurgiões em treinamento). Vídeos cirúrgicos de retina nas mídias sociais foram usados por 98,84% dos participantes (intervalo de confiança de 95%, 97,52%-100%). A fonte mais comum de acesso aos vídeos foi o YouTube (91%), e o grupo de cirurgiões com menos de 3 anos de experiência assistiu mais vídeos no YouTube em comparação aos cirurgiões seniores. Assistir a vídeos cirúrgicos nas redes sociais foi o método preferido na preparação para um procedimento para 49,80% dos participantes versus 26,27% que preferiram “consultar colegas” e 18,82% que preferiram buscar informações em artigos científicos. A “qualidade de imagem” (88%) e a presença de “dicas e truques cirúrgicos” (85%) foram as características dos vídeos mais valorizadas pelos participantes. Conclusão: O uso de vídeos cirúrgicos pode trazer benefícios na aquisição de habilidades estratégicas, como tomada de decisão, planejamento cirúrgico e consciência situacional. Sua aplicação como auxiliar de ensino foi utilizada por cirurgiões de retina independentemente de seu nível de especialização, apesar de ser relativamente mais valioso para cirurgiões em formação ou com menos de 10 anos de experiência.

Abstract Bovine trypanosomosis, caused by Trypanosoma vivax, is a disease that originated in Africa and currently affects cattle in several South American countries, including almost all Brazilian states. Despite the reports on T. vivax infection in southern Brazil, data on its circulation status is currently unavailable. In this study, we aimed to detect anti-Trypanosoma spp. IgG antibodies in cattle from Rio Grande do Sul and suggest areas with T. vivax transmission risk. A total of 691 serum samples from cattle in the intermediate regions of Rio Grande do Sul were analyzed using indirect immunofluorescence assay (IFA). The overall seroprevalence of anti-Trypanosoma antibodies in cattle was 24.6% (170/691). The detection rate ranged from 0-37.3%, with a high prevalence in the intermediate regions of Ijuí (37.3%), Uruguaiana (30.7%), and Passo Fundo (28.9%). Thus, these regions were suggested as possible bovine trypanosomosis risk areas due to the high seroprevalence. This is the first serological study to determine Trypanosoma spp. infection status in cattle from Rio Grande do Sul, providing data on the epidemiology of trypanosomosis in the state.

Resumo A tripanossomose bovina, causada por Trypanosoma vivax, é uma doença que teve origem na África, e atualmente, afeta bovinos em diversos países da América do Sul, incluindo quase todos os estados brasileiros. Apesar dos relatos de infecção por T. vivax, no sul do Brasil, dados sobre seu status de circulação não estão disponíveis atualmente. Neste estudo, o objetivo foi detectar anticorpos IgG anti-Trypanosoma spp. em bovinos do Rio Grande do Sul e sugerir possíveis áreas de risco de transmissão de T. vivax. Foi analisado um total de 691 amostras de soro de bovinos, das regiões intermediárias do Rio Grande do Sul, usando-se o ensaio de imunofluorescência indireta (IFA). A soroprevalência geral de anticorpos anti-Trypanosoma em bovinos foi de 24,6% (170/691). A taxa de detecção variou de 0 a 37,3%, com uma alta prevalência nas regiões intermediárias de Ijuí (37,3%), Uruguaiana (30,7%) e Passo Fundo (28,9%). Portanto, essas regiões foram sugeridas como possíveis áreas de risco para a tripanossomose bovina, devido à alta soroprevalência. Este é o primeiro estudo sorológico a determinar o status de infecção por Trypanosoma spp., em bovinos do Rio Grande do Sul, fornecendo dados sobre a epidemiologia da tripanossomose no estado.

MÉTODOS Foi realizado inquérito de soroprevalência com a população da penitenciária feminina do Centro de Progressão Penitenciária (CPP) do Butantan (município de São Paulo), entre 24 de junho e 20 de agosto de 2020. Nesse período, segundo a Secretaria de Administração Penitenciária (SAP), a positividade dos testes rápidos entre detentos variou de 65 a 78%. O método de avaliação utilizado no estudo foi o teste rápido “One Step COVID-19” (cromatografia), da empresa Wondfo, empregando-se também o método RT-PCR em participantes sintomáticos para confirmação do quadro viral. A população do estudo foi constituída por 879 reeducandas e 170 funcionários da instituição. RESULTADOS A prevalência de anticorpos totais (IgG/IgM) contra o vírus SARS-CoV-2 na população total de 1.049 participantes do estudo foi de 6,1%; entre a população de 879 reeducandas foi observada prevalência de 5,8% e entre os servidores da instituição, 7,5%. CONCLUSÃO Houve baixa prevalência de covid-19 no CPP do Butantan, o que se deve à implementação de medidas de prevenção simples na instituição, como o uso de máscaras (com trocas adequadas), ênfase na higiene, lavagem das mãos e distanciamento social, além de outras estratégias, como suspensão de visitas de familiares e amigos das reeducandas, cortes de consultas médicas eletivas e do trabalho externo.

METHODS A seroprevalence survey was carried out with the population of the female penitentiary of the Centro de Progressão Penitenciária (CPP) in Butantan (municipality of São Paulo), between June 24 and August 20, 2020. During this period, according to the Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration (SAP), the positivity of rapid tests among inmates ranged from 65% to 78%. The evaluation method used in the study was the “One Step COVID-19” rapid test (chromatography), from the company Wondfo, also using the RT-PCR method in symptomatic participants to confirm the viral condition. The study population consisted of 879 female inmates and 170 employees of the institution. RESULTS The prevalence of total antibodies (IgG/IgM) against the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the total population of 1049 study participants was 6.1%; among the population of 879 inmates,a prevalence of 5.8% was observed, and among the institution’s employees, 7.5%. CONCLUSIONS The prevalence of covid-19 at the Butantan CPP was low, which is due to the implementation of simple prevention measures at the institution, such as the use of masks (with appropriate changes), emphasis on hygiene, hand washing and social distancing, in addition to other strategies, such as suspending inmates’ visits from relatives and friends and cutting back on elective medical appointments and outside work.

ABSTRACT Introduction COVID-19 is associated with endothelial activation and systemic inflammation; consequently, statins can be used in its treatment as they have anti-inflammatory, antithrombotic, and profibrinolytic properties and may interfere with COVID-19 viral entry into cells through disruption of cell membrane lipid rafts. Objective We performed a meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials that compared statin therapy to placebo or to standard care in adult patients hospitalized for COVID-19. Methods We searched the MEDLINE, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library databases for all-cause mortality, hospitalization duration, and admission to the intensive care unit. Results Of the 228 studies reviewed, four studies were included, with a total of 1,231 patients, of whom 610 (49.5%) were treated with statins. There was no significant difference in all-cause mortality (odds ratio [OR] 0.96; 95% confidence interval [95%CI]: 0.61-1.51; p=0.86; I2=13%), duration of hospitalization (mean difference [MD] 0.21; 95%CI: -1.74-2.16; p=0.83; I2=92%), intensive care unit admission (OR= 3.31; 95%CI: 0.13-87.1; p=0.47; I2=84%), need for mechanical ventilation (OR= 1.03; 95%CI: 0.36-2.94; p=0.95; I2=0%), or increase in liver enzyme levels (OR= 0.58; 95%CI: 0.27-1.25; p=0.16; I2=0%) between patients treated with or without statin therapy. Conclusion Our findings suggest that in adult patients hospitalized with COVID-19, statin therapy results in no difference in clinical outcomes when compared to outcomes by placebo or standard of care. ABSTRACT Health care workers (HCW) are the frontline workforce for COVID-19 patient care and, consequently, are exposed to SARS-CoV-2 infection due to close contact to infected patients. Here, we evaluate the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 infection among HCW from an infectious disease hospital, reference center for COVID-19 care in the metropolitan area of Sao Paulo city, Brazil. Among 2,204 HCW, 1,417 (64.29%) were subjected to detection of anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies by chemiluminescent immunoassay. Out of the total, 271 (19.12%) presented anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. Prevalence varied according to HCW categories. The highest prevalence was observed in workers from outsourced companies, cooks and kitchen assistants, hospital cleaning workers, and maintenance workers. On the other hand, resident physicians and HCW from the institution itself presented lower prevalence (nurses, nursing assistants, physicians, laboratory technicians). Social and environmental factors are important determinants, associated with exposure in the hospital environment, which can determine the greater or lesser risk of infection by pathogens that spread rapidly by air.

Abstract The article proposes a reflection on the videoperformance Amuamas, performed by the Brazilian artist Juliana Notari in the Brazilian Amazon in 2018. We start from the epistemological premises of ecofeminism, which take the female body as an index of an association between the feminine and nature and between Mother Earth and the primary forest. This investigative practice opposes the masculine and patriarchal notion of culture, which, by proposing itself as hegemonic and universal, has for millennia positioned Woman and Nature as matters of exploitation. We outline a brief overview of the emergence of feminist art history, a field in which artist and work are inserted, denouncing the traditional narrative of history and especially of art history, which excludes those oppressed by capitalism. Next, we move on to the analysis of the work in an effort of reflection that places it as a denunciation of oppressive relations based on an idea of heterosexual coloniality of power and on the concealment of histories of violence against the Others, that is, against the female Other and the Other Nature. We conclude by reiterating that the Amuamas represent the artist’s encounter with the forest, but not only, since the forest represents all the women and all the Others, killed or oppressed by coloniality/modernity, by the white, European and Christian man.

Resumo O artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre a videoperformance Amuamas, feita pela artista brasileira Juliana Notari na Amazônia brasileira em 2018. Partimos das premissas epistemológicas do ecofeminismo, que pensa o corpo feminino como índice de uma associação mais ampla entre o feminino e a natureza e entre a Mãe Terra e a Mata Virgem. Essa prática investigativa opõe-se à noção masculina e patriarcal de cultura que, ao se propor hegemônica e universal, milenarmente posiciona a Mulher e a Natureza como matéria de exploração. Fazemos um breve panorama da emergência da história da arte feminista, campo no qual se inserem artista e obra e que denuncia a narrativa tradicional da história, especialmente a história da arte, que exclui os oprimidos pelo capitalismo. Em seguida, analisamos a obra num esforço de reflexão que a coloca como uma denúncia das relações de opressão baseadas na colonialidade heterossexual do poder e na ocultação de histórias de violência contra os Outros, neste caso, contra o Outro feminino e o Outro natureza. Rematamos, reiterando que as Amuamas representam o encontro da artista com a floresta, mas não só, já que a floresta representa todas as mulheres e todos os Outros, mortos ou oprimidos pela colonialidade/modernidade, pelo homem, branco, europeu, cristão.

Abstract Since bull fertility prediction remains challenging, the identification of potential fertility markers is important considering the economic benefits to the livestock industry. The main goal of this study was to determine the Na/K-ATPase activity and expression in thawed sperm of high (HF)- and low-fertility (LF) Angus bulls. Samples from three different batches/bulls with HF (n = 4) and LF (n = 4) were used. The Na/K-ATPase activity was determined after thawing, whereas sperm kinematics, membrane integrity, and expression of Na/K-ATPase on sperm surface were evaluated immediately post-thaw and after 120 minutes of incubation. Within the same incubation time, there was no difference on sperm membrane integrity, kinematics, and the expression of Na/K-ATPase on the sperm surface between HF and LF bulls. Kinematic parameters of LIN and VCL were not influenced by incubation time in samples from HF and LF, respectively. A tendency (P = 0.06) of higher Na/K-ATPase enzymatic activity for sperm of HF bulls compared to LF bulls was observed (0.49 ± 0.07 and 0.32 ± 0.06, respectively). In conclusion, Na/K-ATPase activity and expression in thawed sperm from Angus bulls are not related to the fertility index after fixed-time artificial insemination. However, sperm kinematics related to hyperactivation might indicate higher sperm cryotolerance for HF bulls.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) highlights the relevance of using information and communications technology (ICT) in education for improving the quality of education. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to extend research on digital competences in education. To advance the development of digital competencies it is necessary to take account of how teachers perceive these. In addition, systematic reviews of the literature on ICT and education show an imbalance regarding the amount of research from Africa compared to other regions of the world. In this sense, the objective of this study carried out between March 2019 and April 2020 was to analyse the perceptions of primary school teachers from 8 African countries about their digital competences. The teachers were master's students in teacher training on virtual platforms. A mixed methodological perspective (quantitative-qualitative) was adopted and a questionnaire with closed and open-ended questions was applied. The quantitative and qualitative analyses show that the teachers recognised their digital competence at all 3 levels. The needs highlighted by teachers were in developing their knowledge of how to create content with the support of technology. However, the available resources, which differed in the participants' work contexts and did not enable the equal use of ICT in all African countries, was an important issue highlighted by the participants. It is recommended that teacher training in digital competence is prepared using instructional design that promotes innovation and contact with real teaching-learning situations.

Resumo Os objetivos deste artigo são identificar e mapear as ações de promoção, proteção e apoio à amamentação que são realizadas dentro do sistema prisional. Revisão de escopo cujas buscas foram realizadas nas bases de dados Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, Medical Literature, Analysis, and Retrieval System Online, via PubMed, Scientific Electronic Library Online e no Portal de Periódicos da Capes, entre outros. Obtiveram-se 465 estudos, destes, removeram-se 177 duplicatas e 175 por exclusão de título, 56 foram eliminados pelo resumo e 8 não foram encontrados. Após seleção e leitura pelo time de revisão, retiraram-se 16 artigos, constituindo-se então 10 artigos com resultados relevantes para promoção à amamentação no espaço prisional, 13 com resultados importantes para proteção à amamentação no espaço prisional e 10 com potenciais achados para apoio à amamentação no espaço prisional. É necessário fomentar a amamentação no cárcere com ações de promoção, proteção e apoio, pois muitas crianças ainda são impedidas de ser amamentadas logo após o nascimento, o que caracteriza desigualdade em relação à população em liberdade.

Abstract This article aims to identify and map the actions to promote, protect and support breastfeeding that are carried out within the prison system. Scope review, whose searches were performed in the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature and Nursing databases, Virtual Health Library, Medical Literature, Analysis, and Retrieval System Online, via PubMed, Scientific Electronic Library Online and the Capes Periodicals Portal. A total of 465 studies were obtained, 177 duplicates and 175 by title exclusion were removed, 56 articles were eliminated by abstract, and eight articles were not found. After selection and reading by the review team, 16 articles were removed, thus constituting ten articles with relevant results for breastfeeding promotion in prison, 13 articles with important results for breastfeeding protection in prison, and ten articles with potential findings for breastfeeding support in prison. It is necessary to promote breastfeeding in prison with promotion, protection and support actions, because many children are still prevented from being breastfed soon after birth, which characterizes inequality in relation to the population in freedom.

Revisão de escopo cujas buscas foram realizadas nas bases de dados Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, Medical Literature, Analysis, and Retrieval System Online, via PubMed, Scientific Electronic Library Online e no Portal de Periódicos da Capes, entre outros. Obtiveram-se 465 estudos, destes, removeram-se 177 duplicatas e 175 por exclusão de título, 56 foram eliminados pelo resumo e 8 não foram encontrados. Após seleção e leitura pelo time de revisão, retiraram-se 16 artigos, constituindo-se então 10 artigos com resultados relevantes para promoção à amamentação no espaço prisional, 13 com resultados importantes para proteção à amamentação no espaço prisional e 10 com potenciais achados para apoio à amamentação no espaço prisional. É necessário fomentar a amamentação no cárcere com ações de promoção, proteção e apoio, pois muitas crianças ainda são impedidas de ser amamentadas logo após o nascimento, o que caracteriza desigualdade em relação à população em liberdade.

Abstract This article aims to identify and map the actions to promote, protect and support breastfeeding that are carried out within the prison system. Scope review, whose searches were performed in the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature and Nursing databases, Virtual Health Library, Medical Literature, Analysis, and Retrieval System Online, via PubMed, Scientific Electronic Library Online and the Capes Periodicals Portal. A total of 465 studies were obtained, 177 duplicates and 175 by title exclusion were removed, 56 articles were eliminated by abstract, and eight articles were not found. After selection and reading by the review team, 16 articles were removed, thus constituting ten articles with relevant results for breastfeeding promotion in prison, 13 articles with important results for breastfeeding protection in prison, and ten articles with potential findings for breastfeeding support in prison. It is necessary to promote breastfeeding in prison with promotion, protection and support actions, because many children are still prevented from being breastfed soon after birth, which characterizes inequality in relation to the population in freedom.

Resumo Introdução: A imobilidade está associada a resultados adversos, como perda da capacidade funcional e maior tempo de hospitalização. Objetivo: Avaliar a mobilidade intra-hospitalar na admissão como preditor de perda da capacidade funcional durante a hospitalização de idosos. Métodos: Um estudo de coorte prospectivo foi conduzido e os fatores de risco pessoais e relacionados ao hospital foram avaliados na admissão e alta. Para determinar se o Short Physical Performance Balance (SPPB) na admissão poderia prever a perda de capacidade funcional durante a internação, uma curva ROC foi realizada e a área sob a curva (AUC) foi calculada. Modelos de regressão logística binária foram usados para identificar preditores de perda de capacidade funcional. O modelo 1 continha apenas SPPB. O modelo 2 SPPB foi pareado com idade, sexo, atividades instrumentais da vida diária (AIVD), cognição, depressão e cirurgia. Os dados foram inseridos no SPSS versão 18.0. Resultados: Foram incluídos 1.191 pacientes com idade média de 70,02 (± 7,34). O ponto de corte do SPPB de 6,5 (sensibilidade 62%, especificidade 54%) identificou 593 (49,8%) pacientes com risco de perda funcional. Na regressão logística, o SPPB sozinho mostrou predição de perda funcional (p < 0,001, OR 1,8, IC 95% = 1,5-2,5) entre a admissão e a alta. O modelo 1 explicou entre 22 a 32% da variação da capacidade funcional. No Modelo 2, três variáveis contribuíram para a perda. SPPB 6,5 aumentou 1,8 vezes (IC 95% = 1,3-2,4), ser mulher aumentou 1,4 vezes (IC 95% = 1,0-1,8) e não ter operado aumentou 2 vezes (IC 95% = 1,4-2,8) a chance de ter perda funcional durante a hospitalização. Conclusão: O SPPB é um bom instrumento para predizer a perda da capacidade funcional em idosos hospitalizados.

Abstract Introduction: Immobility is associated with adverse outcomes such as loss of functional capacity and longer hospitalization. Objective: To assess intra-hospital mobility at admission as a predictor of loss of functional capacity during older adults´ hospitalization. Methods: A prospective cohort study was conducted, and personal and hospital related risk factors were assessed at admission and discharge. To determine whether Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB) on admission could predict loss of functional capacity during hospitalization, a ROC curve was performed and area under the curve (AUC) was calculated. Binary logistic regression models were used to identify predictors of loss of functional capacity. Model 1 contained only SPPB. Model 2 SPPB was matched with age, sex, instrumental activity of daily living (IADL), cognition, depression and surgery. Data were entered into SPSS version 18.0. Results: 1,191 patients were included with a mean age of 70.02 (± 7.34). SPPB cutoff point of 6.5 (sensitivity 62%, specificity 54%) identified 593 (49.8%) patients at risk for functional loss. In logistic regression, SPPB alone showed prediction of functional loss (p < 0.001, OR 1.8, 95% CI = 1.5-2.5) between admission and discharge. Model 1 explained between 22 to 32% of the variation in functional capacity. In Model 2, three variables contributed to the loss. SPPB 6.5 increased 1.8 times (95% CI = 1.3-2.4), being a woman increased 1.4 times (95% CI = 1.0-1.8) and not having surgery increased 2 times (95% CI = 1.4-2.8) the chance of having functional loss during hospitalization. Conclusion: SPPB is a good instrument to predict loss of functional capacity in hospitalized older adults.

This study aimed to develop a reliable stability-indicating method (SIM) for amoxicillin 500 mg capsules (DP-drug product). A literature review addressing amoxicillin (AMX; DS-drug substance) forced degradation studies and the existing SIMs was conducted to verify the most significant outcomes. Subsequently, the forced degradation of DP and DS was carried out following the Brazilian Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) guidelines, including thermal degradation (dry and wet heat), acidic and alkaline hydrolyses, hydrogen peroxide oxidation, reaction with copper, and photodegradation. Both DS and DP were more susceptible to 0.015 M NaOH, resulting in approximately 50% degradation. AMX DS and DP were not significantly photodegraded, but some degradation products (PDegs) showed susceptibility to light exposure. Thermodegraded samples showing ≥ 10% degradation exhibited modified profiles in thermogravimetric (TG) and differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) analyses. The X-ray powder diffraction patterns (XRPD) of DS samples exposed to dry and wet heat displayed complete amorphization of AMX, attesting to the occurrence of physical degradation concomitantly with chemical degradation, which can alter the drug’s bioavailability. In contrast, the thermodegraded DP samples exhibited intact AMX crystals interspersed with the amorphous form, perhaps partly protected by the excipient. The validated SIM was able to detect and quantify about 80 PDegs.
