ABSTRACT Sexual solicitation and sexualized interaction with minors by adults constitute one of the most pernicious risks of the Internet. Little is known about the age range in which this phenomenon is most prevalent or the relationship and overlap of this problem with other risks, such as peer-to-peer cybervictimization and cyber dating abuse. Additionally, little empirical evidence exists on whether the overlap between these types of online victimization affects health-related quality of life (HRQoL). This study aimed to: 1) analyze the prevalence of sexual solicitation and interaction according to sex and stage of adolescence; 2) relate this problem to other forms of online victimization (cybervictimization and cyber dating abuse); 3) analyze the overlap between these forms of online victimization and differences in HRQoL scores. A cross-sectional and analytical study with 3,578 adolescents (52.7% girls) aged between 10-15 years was carried out. Of the adolescents in the study sample, 12.6% (n = 448) had received sexual requests and 6.4% (n = 230) had interacted sexually with adults. Sexual solicitation was most common among girls in middle adolescence. Of the participants, 33.9% (n = 1,216) had been involved in some form of online victimization. Peer cybervictimization and cyber dating abuse were positively and significantly correlated with sexualized solicitation/interactions with adults. Victims with the overlapping of all three types of online victimization (2.7%, n = 98) presented the lowest HQRoL scores (p < .001).

RESUMEN La solicitación e interacción sexual con menores por parte de adultos constituyen uno de los riesgos más perniciosos de Internet. Se sabe poco sobre la franja de edad en el que es más frecuente o sobre la relación y el solapamiento de este problema con otros riesgos, como la cibervictimización entre iguales y el abuso online en la pareja. Además, existen pocas evidencias empíricas sobre si el solapamiento entre estos tipos de victimización afecta a la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud (CVRS). Los objetivos de este estudio fueron: 1) analizar la prevalencia de la solicitación/interacción sexual en función del sexo y la etapa de la adolescencia, 2) relacionar esta problemática con la cibervictimización entre iguales y el abuso online en la pareja, 3) analizar el solapamiento entre estas formas de victimización online y sus diferencias en las puntaciones de CVRS. Se trata de un estudio transversal y analítico con 3,578 adolescentes (52.7% chicas) entre 10-15 años. El 12.6% (n = 448) habían recibido solicitaciones sexuales y el 6.4% (n = 230) había interactuado sexualmente con adultos. La solicitación sexual fue más frecuente en chicas en la adolescencia media. Un 33.9% (n = 1,216) había sufrido algún tipo de victimización online. La cibervictimización entre iguales y el abuso online en la pareja correlacionaron positiva y significativamente con solicitaciones/interacciones sexualizadas con adultos. Las víctimas que solaparon los tres tipos de victimización online (2.7%, n = 98) presentaron las puntuaciones de CVRS más bajas (p < .001).

ABSTRACT The development of brief and inexpensive interventions that reduce risky behaviors in adolescence constitute a challenge for current research. This study addresses the prevention of two online behavior problems in adolescents (cyberbullying and online grooming). Two pilot studies evaluated the effects of a 1-hour intervention, which combined self-affirmation (SA) with the incremental theory of personality (ITP), for cyberbullying and online grooming. Study 1 involved 339 adolescents (51% male, mean age = 14.12 years, SD = 0.70), who were randomly assigned to the SA + ITP intervention or one of two control conditions. Hierarchical regression analyses indicated that the SA + ITP intervention reduced the reciprocity between sexual solicitation and sexualized interaction with adults, as well as between cyberbullying victimization and perpetration. Study 2 included 214 adolescents (50.3% male, mean age = 14.06 years, SD = 0.96), who were randomly assigned to the SA + ITP or a control condition. Hierarchical linear modeling analyses indicated that the SA + ITP reduced the reciprocity between sexual solicitation and sexualized interaction with adults, and reduced cyberbullying perpetration. The studies provided preliminary evidence of the benefits of the SA + ITP intervention.

RESUMEN El desarrollo de intervenciones breves y económicas que reduzcan las conductas de riesgo en la adolescencia constituye un desafío para la investigación actual. Este estudio aborda la prevención de dos problemas de comportamiento online en adolescentes (ciberacoso y grooming en Internet). Dos estudios piloto evaluaron los efectos de una intervención de una hora que combinó autoafirmaciones (AA) con la teoría incremental de la personalidad (TIP) en el ciberacoso y el grooming. En el estudio 1 participaron 339 adolescentes (51% chicos, edad media = 14.12 años, DT = 0.70), que fueron asignados aleatoriamente a la intervención AA + TIP o una de dos condiciones de control. Los análisis de regresión jerárquica indicaron que la intervención AA + TIP redujo la reciprocidad entre la solicitud sexual y la interacción sexualizada con adultos, así como entre la victimización y la perpetración de ciberacoso. El estudio 2 incluyó a 214 adolescentes (50.3% chicos, edad media = 14.06 años, DT = 0.96), que fueron asignados aleatoriamente a AA + TIP o a una condición de control. Los análisis de modelos lineales jerárquicos indicaron que AA + TIP redujo la reciprocidad entre la solicitud sexual y la interacción sexualizada con adultos y redujo la perpetración de ciberacoso. Los estudios aportaron evidencia preliminar de las ventajas de la intervención AA + TIP.

Resumen Objetivo. Revisar los estudios que han analizado la relación de bullying/cyberbullying con variables del contexto familiar. Método. Revisión sistemática, basada en el protocolo Prisma, de los documentos registrados en las principales bases de datos de psicología, que incluían las palabras clave bullying/cyberbullying y familia/padres, entre 2004 y 2017. Setenta y cuatro artículos cumplieron los criterios de inclusión. Resultados. La revisión evidenció las siguientes variables familiares asociadas con cada rol: (a) víctimas de bullying: padres/madres autoritarios, punitivos o permisivos; hogares disfuncionales, baja armonía familiar, conflictos, pobre comunicación; reciben muchas críticas, bajo apoyo/atención parental o sobreprotección; (b) cibervíctimas: padres/madres autoritarios o negligentes, conflictos familiares, bajo apoyo parental, padres/madres distantes, vínculos emocionales negativos; (c) agresores de bullying: padres/madres autoritarios, punitivos o permisivos, hogares disfuncionales, conflictos entre padres/madres, violencia doméstica, reciben rechazo, crítica y poco afecto parental; (d) ciberagresores: padres/madres autoritarios, negligentes o permisivos, y conflictos familiares. Por último, resultaron factores protectores: padres/madres democráticas, equilibrados, sin conflictos domésticos, cohesión familiar, interacciones de calidad, fácil comunicación padres-hijos, padres/madres apoyan a sus hijos, son cercanos y fomentan el apego seguro. Conclusión. Algunas variables familiares pueden ser relevantes, aunque en la probabilidad de convertirse en víctima o agresor de bullying y cyberbullying influyan otros factores, como los personales.

Abstract Objective. To review studies that have analyzed the relationship of bullying and cyberbullying with the family context. Method. PRISMA protocol for systematic reviews was used in all documents registered in the main psychology databases featuring the keywords bullying/cyberbullying and family/parents, between 2004 and 2017. Seventy-four articles met the inclusion criteria. Results. The review revealed the following familiar variables associated with each role. Victims of bullying: authoritarian, punitive, negligent, or permissive parents; dysfunctional homes, low family harmony, conflicts, poor parent-child communication; criticism, low parental support/attention, or overprotection. Cyber-victims: authoritarian or negligent parents; family conflicts, low parental support, distant parents, negative emotional bonding with parents. Bullies: authoritarian, punitive or permissive parents; dysfunctional homes, parental conflicts, domestic violence; rejection, criticism, and little parental affection. Cyberbullies: authoritarian, negligent or permissive parents, and family conflicts. Protective factors: democratic, balanced parents; no domestic conflicts, family cohesion, quality interactions, easy parent-child communication, parents support and care for their children, close-knit relationships, and foster secure attachment. Conclusion. Some family variables may be relevant, although the probability of becoming a victim or aggressor of bullying and cyberbullying may be influenced by other factors.

Resumo Escopo . Revisar os estudos que têm analisado a relação bullying/cyberbullying com variáveis do contexto familiar. Metodologia . Revisão sistemática, baseada no protocolo Prisma, dos documentos registrados nas principais bases de dados de psicologia, que incluíram as palavras chave bullying/cyberbullying e família/pais, entre 2004 e 2017. Setenta e quatro artigos cumpriram os critérios de inclusão. Resultados . A revisão evidenciou as seguintes variáveis familiares associadas com cada rol: (a) vítimas de bullying (pais/mais autoritários, punitivos ou permissivos; lares disfuncionais, baixa harmonia familiar, conflitos, pobre comunicação; recebem muitas críticas, baixo apoio/atenção parental ou sobre proteção); (b) cyber vítimas (pais/mais autoritários ou negligentes, conflitos familiares, baixo apoio parental, pais/mais distantes, vínculos emocionais negativos); (c) agressores de bullying (pais/mais autoritários, negligentes ou permissivos, lares disfuncionais, conflitos entre pais/mais, violência doméstica, recebem rejeito, crítica e pouco afeto parental); (d) cyber agressores (pais/mais autoritários, negligentes ou permissivos, e conflitos familiares); (e) fatores protetores (pais/mais democráticos, equilibrados, sem conflitos domésticos, coesão familiar, interações de qualidade, fácil comunicação pais-filhos, pais/mais apoiam seus filhos, são próximos e fomentam o apego seguro). Conclusão . Algumas variáveis familiares podem ser relevantes, embora na probabilidade de se converter em vítima ou agressor de bullying e cyberbullyuing influam outros fatores, como os pessoais.

ABSTRACT Background: Actually, there are no studies related to the attitudes of health professionals towards the official recommendation of influenza vaccination, despite the fact that there are numerous investigations that have addressed their own attitude towards vaccination. The objective is to design the Questionnaire on the Attitudes of Healthcare Professionals towards the Official Flu Vaccination Recommendations (CAPSVA). Methods: Quasi-experimental study. The control group includedInstrumental study was conducted between February and March 2019 with 288 professionals of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy of the Principado of Asturias (Spain). The sampling was non-probabilistic of incidental type. After content validation, a tool was designed with 16 items in three dimensions. Reliability (alpha ordinal) and internal validity (exploratory factorial analysis using the parallel analysis method) analyses were performed, as well as frequency analysis and mean comparisons. Results: The exploratory factor analysis yielded a 3-factor solution that explained 79.38% of the total variance. The ordinal alpha ranged from 0.72 to 0.80. The test-retest recorded a value of r=0.804 (p<0.001). There were no statistically significant differences when comparing according to sex (p=0.952), professional group (p = 0.563) or having received influenza vaccination in the last campaign (p=0.861). There were these differences when comparing the number of years of professional practice (p=0.003) and having received specific training in vaccines in the last year (p=0.004). More than 90% of the participants valued positively the influenza vaccination strategy of the Autonomous Community of study (quadrivalent vaccine for <65 years and adjuvant trivalent for ≥65 years). Conclusions: A questionnaire with sufficient guarantees of reliability and internal validity is available to evaluate the attitudes of health professionals towards the official recommendation of influenza vaccination.

RESUMEN Fundamentos: A día de hoy no existen estudios relacionados con las actitudes de los profesionales sanitarios hacia la recomendación oficial de vacunación antigripal, a pesar de que son numerosas las investigaciones en las que se ha abordado la propia actitud de los mismos hacia su vacunación. El objetivo de este trabajo fue diseñar el Cuestionario sobre las Actitudes de los Profesionales Sanitarios hacia la Recomendaciones Oficiales de Vacunación Antigripal (CAPSVA). Métodos: Estudio instrumental realizado entre febrero y marzo de 2019 con 288 profesionales de Medicina, Enfermería y Farmacia del Principado de Asturias (España). El muestreo fue no probabilístico de tipo incidental. Tras la validación de contenido, se diseñó una herramienta con 16 ítems en tres dimensiones. Se realizaron análisis de fiabilidad (alfa ordinal) y validez interna (análisis factorial exploratorio mediante el método de análisis paralelo), además de análisis de frecuencias y comparaciones de medias. Resultados: El análisis factorial exploratorio arrojó una solución de 3 factores que explicó el 79,38% de la varianza total. El alfa ordinal osciló entre 0,72 y 0,80. El test-retest registró un valor de r=0,804 (p< 0,001). No hubo diferencias estadísticamente significativas al comparar según la variable sexo (p=0,952), grupo profesional (p=0,563) o haber recibido la vacunación antigripal en la última campaña (p=0,861). Sí las hubo al comparar el número de años de ejercicio profesional (p=0,003) y haber recibido formación específica en vacunas en el último año (p=0,004). Más de un 90% de los participantes valoró positivamente la estrategia de vacunación antigripal de la Comunidad Autónoma de estudio (vacuna cuadrivalente para <65 años y trivalente adyuvada para ≥65 años). Conclusiones: Se dispone de un cuestionario con suficientes garantías de fiabilidad y validez interna para evaluar las actitudes de los profesionales sanitarios hacia la recomendación oficial de la vacunación antigripal.

ABSTRACT Background: Immunization rates among medicine and nursing students -and among health professional in general- during hospital training are low. It is necessary to investigate the causes for these low immunization rates. The objective of this study was to design and validate a questionnaire for exploring the attitudes and behaviours of medicine and nursing students toward immunization of vaccine-preventable diseases. Methods: An instrument validation study. The sample included 646 nursing and medicine students at University of Oviedo, Spain. It was a non-ramdom sampling. After the content validation process, a 24-item questionnaire was designed to assess attitudes and behaviours/behavioural intentions. Reliability (ordinal alpha), internal validity (exploratory factor analysis by parellel analysis), ANOVA and mediational model tests were performed. Results: Exploratory factor analysis yielded two factors which accounted for 48.8% of total variance. Ordinal alpha for the total score was 0.92. Differences were observed across academic years in the dimensions of attitudes (F5.447=3.728;p<0.003) and knowledge (F5.448=65.59;p<0.001), but not in behaviours/behavioural intentions (F5.461=1.680;p<0.138). Attitudes demonstrated to be a moderating variable of knowledge and attitudes/behavioural attitudes (Indirect effect B=0.15; SD=0.3; 95% CI:0.09-0.19). Conclusions: We developed a questionnaie based on sufficient evidence of reliability and internal validity. Scores on attitudes and knowledge increase with the academic year. Attitudes act as a moderating variable between knowledge and behaviours/behavioural intentions.

RESUMEN Fundamentos: Las tasas de vacunación en estudiantes de Ciencias de la Salud que realizan prácticas en los contextos hospitalarios son bajas, al igual que en el colectivo sanitario en general, y es necesario explorar sus causas. El objetivo principal fue diseñar y validar un cuestionario para conocer las actitudes y las conductas de los estudiantes de medicina y enfermería sobre la vacunación de enfermedades inmunoprevenibles. Métodos: La muestra se compuso de 646 alumnos/as de medicina y enfermería de la Universidad de Oviedo, Asturias. El muestreo fue de tipo incidental. Tras un proceso de validación de contenido, se diseñó un cuestionario con 24 ítems que englobaba actitudes y conductas/intenciones de conductas. Se realizaron análisis de fiabilidad (alfa ordinal) y validez interna (análisis factorial exploratorio mediante el método de análisis paralelo), además de ANOVAS y un modelo mediacional. Resultados: El análisis factorial exploratorio arrojó una solución de 2 factores que explicó el 48,8% de la varianza total. El alfa ordinal para la puntuación total fue 0,92. Hubo diferencias según el curso en las dimensiones de actitudes (F5,447=3,728;p<0,003) y de conocimientos (F5,448=65,59;p<0,001) pero no en las conductas/intenciones de conductas (F5,461=1,680;p<0,138). Las actitudes fueron una variable moduladora entre los conocimientos y las conductas/intenciones de conductas (B efecto indirecto=0,15; SE=0,3; IC95% :0,09-0,19). Conclusiones: Se dispone de un cuestionario con suficiente fiabilidad y validez interna. Las puntuaciones en actitudes y conocimientos son mayores según el curso. Las actitudes actúan como variable moduladora entre los conocimientos y las conductas/intenciones de conductas.

Background: The high emotional burden of physicians working in emergency departments may affect their quality of life perception. Aim: To evaluate health related quality of life among resident physicians performing shifts at an emergency department. Material and Methods: Seventy one physicians aged 26,3 ± 1,7 years (47 women), working as residents in an emergency department, answered the short version of the Short-Form Health Survey Questionnaire (SF-36®). This questionnaire analyses eight domains: physical function, body pain, general health, vitality, social function, emotional role and mental health. Results: Women had a significantly worse perception than a reference population in four dimensions of the SF-36, especially mental health and social functioning. Men had scores similar to the reference population. Among women, vitality is the best predictor of mental health and social functioning. Conclusions: Women working as residents in an emergency department have a worse perception of their quality of life than men performing the same job.

We collected eight new records of mammal species from Campeche, México, including seven bats (Order Chiroptera) and one carnivore (Order Carnivora). We also confirmed the presence in the state of Artibeus watsoni, Cynomops mexicanus (Chiroptera) and Lontra longicaudis (Carnivora). Hence, for Campeche bat species richness increased from 48 to 55 and carnivores 16 to 17.

Se reportan ocho nuevos registros de mamíferos para Campeche, México, de los cuales siete son del orden Chiroptera y uno del orden Carnivora. A su vez, se confirma la presencia de Artibeus watsoni, Cynomops mexicanus (Chiroptera) y Lontra longicaudis (Carnivora) en el Estado, con lo cual la riqueza de especies de murciélagos se incrementa de 48 a 55 y de carnívoros de 16 a 17.

Objective: Valid and reliable instruments to measure aspects of hand hygiene are needed to determine the current situation and impact of training among health professionals. The main objective of this study was to describe the development of a questionnaire on hand hygiene among health professionals and to analyze the properties of this instrument. Method: A questionnaire was designed and implemented between January 2010 and March 2011 at the Hospital Clínico San Cecilio (Granada, Spain). The final questionnaire consisted of 44 items that assessed provider behavior before and after contact with the patient, declarative knowledge, and attitudes to hand hygiene. The questionnaire was administered to 113 health professionals. Results: A factor analysis was performed. Data were obtained that supported the unidimensionality of the instrument with a general convergence value that explained 39.289% of the total variance and a Cronbach's alpha of 0.784 for the established elements. Significant differences were found in hand hygiene behavior before and after contact with the patient (t=-8,991, p <0.001). Declarative knowledge and attitudes significantly predicted behavior. Conclusions: The questionnaire shows high internal consistency, reliability, and validity and is thus a valid tool to assess behavior, knowledge and attitudes related to hand hygiene in health professionals. This instrument also detects deficiencies in basic knowledge.

Objetivo: La necesidad de generar instrumentos válidos y fiables para medir aspectos relacionados con la higiene de manos es importante para conocer la situación actual y el impacto de las acciones formativas en los profesionales. El objetivo principal del trabajo es validar un cuestionario sobre higiene de manos en médicos y analizar sus propiedades de la medida. Método: Estudio instrumental en el cual se elaboró un cuestionario que se aplicó entre enero de 2010 y marzo de 2011 en el Hospital Clínico San Cecilio (Granada). Éste constó finalmente de 44 ítems que evalúan la conducta del profesional médico antes y después del contacto con el paciente, los conocimientos declarativos y las actitudes sobre la higiene de manos. Se aplicó a 113 profesionales. Resultados: Tras realizar los análisis factoriales se obtuvieron datos que avalan la unidimensionalidad de la herramienta, con un valor de convergencia general que explica el 39,289% de la varianza total y un valor alfa de Cronbach para elementos tipificados de 0,784. Hay diferencias significativas entre la conducta de higiene de manos antes y después del contacto con el paciente (t=-8,991; p <0,001). Los conocimientos declarativos y las actitudes predicen significativamente la conducta. Conclusiones: El cuestionario muestra una alta consistencia interna y fiabilidad, además de validez; así pues, es una herramienta válida para evaluar conductas, conocimientos y actitudes relacionadas con la higiene de manos en los profesionales médicos. Además, detecta deficiencias en conocimientos básicos.

Introduction. The teaching and learning of hand hygiene in the context of health is a complex task. There is little discussion in the literature regarding the student involvement as the leader of his own background. The main objective of this study is the evaluation of a workshop on hand hygiene managed, directed and delivered, under expert supervision, by students at the same student group. Subjects and methods. An evaluation pre-post about technique, knowledge and attitudes of participants towards hygiene. Attended by 40 students of Health Sciences at the University of Granada. We conducted two evaluations of the workshop by: a questionnaire designed ad hoc with 12 items on knowledge and attitudes, and the direct observation of hand hygiene technique and quality of the processing with an ultraviolet lamp and a reactive solution for it. Results. After the workshop, it shows how significantly reduces the number of contaminated areas hands (t = 9.278; p < 0.000) and how it significantly improves hand hygiene technique for each of the seven steps outlined World Health Organization (p < 0.001). The difference between the overall mean questionnaire scores before and after the workshop was also significant (t = -4.662;p < 0.000). Conclusions. The taught workshop improved attitudes, knowledge and technique of hand hygiene with alcohol solution between the participants.

Introducción. La enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la higiene de manos en el contexto sanitario es una tarea compleja. La intervención del estudiante como líder de su propia formación está muy poco analizada en la bibliografía. El objetivo principal del trabajo es la evaluación de un taller sobre higiene de manos gestionado, dirigido e impartido, bajo tutela experta, por estudiantes al propio colectivo estudiantil. Sujetos y métodos. Evaluación pre-post de la técnica, los conocimientos y las actitudes de los participantes hacia la higiene de manos. Asistieron 40 estudiantes de ciencias de la salud de la Universidad de Granada. Se realizaron dos evaluaciones del taller: mediante un cuestionario diseñado ad hoc con 12 ítems sobre conocimientos y actitudes, y mediante la observación directa de la técnica de higiene de manos y la calidad del proceso utilizando una lámpara de luz ultravioleta y una solución reactiva. Resultados. Tras la realización del taller se aprecia que disminuye de forma significativa el número de zonas contaminadas de las manos (t = 9,278; p < 0,000) y que mejora significativamente la técnica de higiene de manos para cada uno de los siete pasos establecidos por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (p < 0,001). La diferencia entre la media global de las puntuaciones del cuestionario antes y después del taller fue también significativa (t = -4,662; p < 0,000). Conclusiones. El taller impartido mejoró las actitudes, los conocimientos y la técnica de higiene de manos con solución alcohólica entre los participantes.

El objetivo de este trabajo es el estudio de las propiedades psicométricas de la versión en español del cuestionario Interpersonal Support Evaluation List (ISEL), construido en su versión original por Cohen y Wills (1985). El ISEL evalúa la percepción de disponibilidad de cuatro aspectos diferentes del apoyo social, además de aportar una medida general de apoyo social percibido. El cuestionario se compone de cuatro subescalas (autoestima, información, pertenencia e instrumental). Cada una de ellas está formada por 10 ítems. Tras un riguroso proceso de traducción para generar la versión española del ISEL, se analizó la equivalencia de la versión traducida al español para la escala en su conjunto y para cada subescala en una muestra de universitarios españoles (N = 441). Se obtuvo un valor de alfa para la primera administración de 0.888 y de 0.87 para la segunda. La fiabilidad test-retest fue de r = 0.787. Se comprobó que la estructura factorial podría ser esencialmente unidimensional tras un análisis factorial exploratorio con rotación Varimax. Además, se analizó la validez convergente con la Escala de Soledad (r = -0.692; p < 0.001); el Cuestionario de Autoeficacia Percibida (r = 0.712; p < 0.001); el Cuestionario de Salud General (r = -0.422; p < 0.001) y la Escala de Estrés Percibido (r = -0.400; p = 0.002). Los resultados podrían mostrar que la versión española del ISEL puede ser utilizada con suficientes garantías psicométricas en una población de jóvenes universitarios de habla hispana.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of Spanish version of the Interpersonal Support Evaluation List-ISEL which was built in its original version by Cohen and Wills (1985). The ISEL assesses the perceived availability of four different aspects of social support, in addition to providing a general measure of social support. The questionnaire consists of four sub-scales (self-esteem, information, membership and instrumental). Each sub-scale consists of 10 items. After a rigorous translation process to produce the Spanish version of the ISEL, we examined the equivalence of the translated version into Spanish for the total scale and each sub-scale in a sample of Spanish university students (N = 441). We obtained an alpha value for the first administration of 0.888 and 0.87 for the second. The test-retest reliability was r = 0.787. It was found that the factor structure would be essentially one-dimensional after exploratory factor analysis with Varimax rotation. In addition, convergent validity was assessed with the Loneliness Scale (r = -0.692, p < 0.001), the Perceived Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (r = 0.712, p < 0.001), the General Health Questionnaire (r = -0.422, p = 0.001) and the Perceived Stress Scale (r = -0.400, p = 0.002). The results could show that the Spanish version of the ISEL can be used with sufficient psychometric guarantees in a population of Spanish-speaking university students.

Updated information on the geographic and taxonomic representativeness of mammal specimens deposited in 28 Mexican mammal collections, the Mammal Networked Information System (MaNIS), and the Unidad de Informática para la Biodiversidad (UNIBIO) data bases were compiled in order to analyze and compare the overall current status of the specimens of Mexican mammals deposited in collections in North America. A total of 421,466 specimens deposited in 120 collections were documented, of which 233,116 were deposited in collections in the United States of America and Canada, and 188,350 in collections in Mexico. The collections with the greatest number of specimens from Mexico are the Colección Nacional de Mamíferos (CNMA 46,000), the University of Kansas (KU 44,301), and the Escuela Nacional de Ciencias Biológicas (ENCB 43,985). In Mexican collections, the states of northern Mexico are improperly represented in number of specimens (< 3,000), whereas in foreign collections, the states of central Mexico are poorly represented. The Mexican states better represented by number of specimens (> 10,000) are Baja California Sur, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Puebla and Veracruz. The orders better represented in terms of number of specimens are Rodentia and Chiroptera (234,978 and 120,956, respectively). The Mexican states with the smallest area have the greatest density of specimens collected (specimens/km²), such as Distrito Federal (3.2), Tlaxcala (1.4), Colima (1.06), and Morelos (0.9). The aim of this analysis is to provide a baseline to establish appropriate strategies to complete the national inventory of Mexican mammals and to ensure that this natural heritage is fully represented within Mexican collections.

La información actualizada sobre la representatividad geográfica y taxonómica de los ejemplares depositados en 28 colecciones mastozoológicas mexicanas y la disponible en las bases de datos Mammal Networked Information System (MaNIS), y de la Unidad de Informática para la Biodiversidad (UNIBIO) se recopiló con el fin de analizar y comparar el estado actual de los ejemplares de mamíferos mexicanos depositados en colecciones de Norteamérica. Se documentaron un total de 421,466 ejemplares de mamíferos depositados en 120 colecciones mastozoológicas, de los cuales 233,116 ejemplares se encuentran en colecciones de Estados Unidos de América y Canadá, y 188,350 ejemplares en colecciones de México. Las colecciones con el mayor número de ejemplares de mamíferos de México son la Colección Nacional de Mamíferos (CNMA 46,000), la Universidad de Kansas (KU 44,301), y la Escuela Nacional de Ciencias Biológicas (ENCB 43,985). En colecciones mexicanas, los estados del norte de México están escasamente representados en número de ejemplares (< 3,000), y en las colecciones extranjeras, los estados del centro de México están pobremente representados. Se espera contar con una línea base que permita establecer estrategias adecuadas para completar el inventario nacional de los mamíferos mexicanos, y lograr que este patrimonio natural este adecuadamente representado en colecciones de México.
