Abstract Paper aims Due to the scarcity of research that approaches the Lean Office in conjunction with Industry 4.0 Technologies, this article aims to discuss, understand and analyze the associations between these two concepts, as well as identify gaps to be explored. Originality This research contributes with guidelines for applying Industry 4.0 Technologies in administrative areas and possibilities of an association with the Lean for the development of the Smart Office. Research method Based on a systematic review of the literature, with a basic purpose, a descriptive objective, and qualitative data, a framework for developing the Smart Office is presented. Main findings An association model between Lean Office tools and Industry 4.0 Technologies is provided. It even classifies and addresses the impact and trends in administrative environments so that managers can develop the Smart Office. Implications for theory and practice Industry 4.0 technologies have been widely discussed in companies that seek to improve processes, mainly industries; however, there are still few applications in administrative environments. The applicability and association of new technologies for Smart Office can explore future studies and contribute to the growth of these areas in addition to the creation of new articles relating to technologies in this environments.

Abstract Paper aims considering that the fourth industrial revolution can be a primary engine for process innovation, this research proposes a 4.0 Production System applicable to the auto parts industry. Originality the study’s relevance is observed from the assimilation of practical issues with the scientific process for constructing a 4.0 Production System for the sector in question. Research method this research is structured from a real case study, proposing an artifact from Design Science Research. Main findings the results obtained provided a competitive advantage to the company, with a reduction of 23% in lead time, 16% in HM/Fuel Tank, 55% in WIP, and 38% in the total distance traveled by operators, in addition to an ROI of 9.22%. Implications for theory and practice the practical application of the artifact showed that its use is viable; however, to extract the maximum potential, it is suggested to insert it into the company's culture.

Resumo O presente estudo analisa aspectos da aplicação da Design Science Research (DSR), identifica as classes de problemas, bem como as contribuições e limitações na aplicação do método nas diversas áreas e subáreas da Engenharia de Produção. A pesquisa utiliza o método de revisão sistemática da literatura. Por meio da uma revisão de artigos com o uso do software Atlas.ti 8, efetua análises de redes para classificação por áreas e agrupamento por similaridades, analisando os aspectos propostos no objetivo do estudo. Através da análise, oferece contribuições teóricas e práticas. Primeiro, fornece uma visão abrangente de como a DSR vem sendo aplicada nas pesquisas, identificando as classes de problemas, os artefatos e a área de classificação na Engenharia de Produção. Da mesma forma, contribui com agenda de pesquisas para replicação do método em áreas emergentes.

Abstract The present study analyzes aspects of the application of the Design Science Research (DSR), identifies the problem classes, as well as the contributions and limitations in the implementation of the method in the various areas and subareas of Industrial Engineering. The research uses the method of systematic literature review through a review of articles using the Atlas.ti 8 software, it performs network analysis for classification by area and grouping by similarities, analyzing the aspects proposed in the objective of the study. Through investigation, it offers theoretical and practical contributions. First, it provides a comprehensive view of how DSR has been applied in research, identifying problem classes, artifacts, and classification areas in Industrial Engineering. Similarly, it contributes to a research agenda to replicate the method in emerging areas.

Abstract Paper aims Due to the scarcity of research on current scenarios of quality management in the 21st century, this article addresses the concepts of big data and Industry 4.0 for decision-making in quality control. Originality This article contributes to completing categorizations and answering questions that have been previously suggested. Research method This study presents a systematic literature review and qualitative data. The methodological framework shows the process of the selection and review of articles according to their alignment with the objective of the study. Main findings Seventeen articles were selected to structure the study and were classified according the categories presented in the literature. The vast majority of the research gaps pointed out in previous review have been filled since their publication. Implications for theory and practice In addition, this article presents new gaps to be filled and complements the literature and concepts about quality management and Industry 4.0.
