Resumo Este artigo objetiva identificar a compreensão das práticas corporais dos alunos do curso de Medicina da Escola Multicampi de Ciências Médicas do Rio Grande do Norte e discutir sua realização no âmbito da Atenção Básica à Saúde. Por meio uma pesquisa documental de abordagem qualitativa, analisamos os 47 relatórios finais da disciplina Práticas Corporais na promoção de saúde e qualidade de vida, que ocorreu nos períodos 2017-1, 2017-2 e 2018-1. Com a análise dos documentos, foi possível identificar de que forma os alunos compreendiam o corpo e a saúde, ao mesmo tempo em que foram promovidas vivências que auxiliaram os alunos a superar preconceitos a respeito das práticas, ressaltando sua importância no âmbito da saúde, principalmente no que condiz a uma formação médica ampliada, à atuação na Atenção Básica, de forma a serem capazes de experienciar o próprio corpo e o do outro.

Abstract This article aims to identify the understanding of the body practices of medical students at the Multicampi School of Medical Sciences of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, and discuss their realization in the context of Primary Healthcare. Through a documental research with a qualitative approach, we analyzed the 47 final reports of the discipline Body Practices in the promotion of health and quality of life, which took place in the 2017-1, 2017-2 and 2018-1 periods. Through document analysis, it was possible to identify how the students understood the body and health, at the same time that experiences were promoted that helped students to overcome prejudices about the practices, highlighting their importance in the field of health, especially which is consistent with an expanded medical training, acting in Primary Care, in order to be able to experience their own bodies and that of others.

Abstract This article looks into the construction of the body by bodybuilding. It is a field study interviewing bodybuilders in North-eastern Brazil. Semi-structured Interviews were conducted with a sample of eight men and two women and underwent content analysis. The results allowed identifying various uses of bodybuilding regarding subjects’ past experiences with their bodies, modes commitment to the practice, and sex. If the suffering evoked to explain their commitment is individual, adherence to new standards of construction of the body takes place through a collective of people who lead to normalization of consumption of pharmacological substances.

Resumen El objetivo de este artículo es entender la construcción del cuerpo por el culturismo. Se trata de un estudio de campo que permitió entrevistar a culturistas del Nordeste de Brasil. Las entrevistas de tipo semiestructurado se realizaron con una muestra de ocho hombres y dos mujeres. Realizamos un análisis de contenido de las entrevistas. Los resultados han permitido identificar usos diferenciados del culturismo según las experiencias pasadas del cuerpo, los modos de compromiso y el sexo. Si el sufrimiento planteado para explicar su compromiso con la práctica es individual, la adhesión a nuevas normas de construcción del cuerpo se hace por un colectivo de personas que llevan a normalizar el consumo de sustancias farmacológicas.

Résumé Cet article a comme objectif comprendre la construction du corps par le bodybuilding. Il s’agit d’une étude de terrain qui a permis d’interviewer des bodybuilders du nord-est du Brésil. Des entretiens de type semi-structuré ont été réalisés avec un échantillon de huit hommes et deux femmes. Nous avons procédé à une analyse de contenu des entretiens. Les résultats ont permis d’identifier des usages différenciés du bodybuilding en lien avec les expériences passées du corps, les modes d’engagement et le sexe. Si la souffrance évoquée pour expliquer son engagement dans la pratique est individuelle, l’adhésion à de nouvelles normes de construction du corps se fait par un collectif de personnes qui conduisent à normaliser la consommation de substances pharmacologiques.

Abstract Aim: The promulgation of the 1996 Education Guidelines and Bases Law promotes debate on the construction of National Curricular Parameters (NCPs) for Basic Education, emerging traditional disciplines and transversal themes. Considering the relevance of NCPs today, the objective of this research was to analyze NCPs related to health and to identify relationships between health and physical education in NCPs for Physical Education in Elementary and High School. Method: This is a documentary study that analyzed the respective documents. Paul Ricœur's hermeneutic approach was used for the interpretation of these documents. Discussion: In this section, it was identified that these documents recognize health as a right; present a dynamic conception of health and emphasize the importance of citizen education. However, the documents contradict each other by emphasizing a reduction of Physical Education to physical exercise, remodeling of habits, emphasized valorization of biological mechanisms, and contradictory facts to understand health dynamics. Conclusion: Finally, the conclusions emphasize the main points in each document, showing that there are advances but there are also divergences between them related to health issues and even setbacks. In addition, new investigations related to this theme are suggested.
