Este trabalho avaliou o uso e a cobertura da terra, e comparou os dados obtidos com aqueles das Áreas de Preservação Permanente (APPs), para identificar conflitos do uso da terra no município de Seropédica-RJ. Utilizaram-se duas cenas do satélite CBERS2 e a classificação supervisionada com o método da mínima distância. As APPs foram delimitadas com o auxílio de geotecnologias, baseando-se na legislação ambiental (Lei n.º 12.651/2012) (Brasil, 2012). Utilizou-se no mapeamento das APPs um Modelo Digital de Elevação (1:25.000) e, para a rede de drenagem, cartas planialtimétricas (1:10.000). Identificaram-se 40,02 km² de APPs, o que correspondeu a 15,01% do município. A APP do rio Guandu apresentou maior área (7,23%) e lagos urbanos, a menor (0,04%). O município não apresentou APPs de declividade (<40°) e de topo de morro (declividade < 25° com altitude < 100). Em relação aos conflitos do uso da terra, o solo exposto correspondeu a 58,1%, pastagem a 21,7%, areia/mineração a 7,8% e área urbana a 3,9%. Os resultados obtidos indicam eficiência dessas geotecnologias na gestão municipal.

In this study, we evaluated the use and cover of land and compared data with the Permanent Preservation Areas (PPAs) to identify conflicts of land use in the municipality of Seropédica, Rio de Janeiro state, Brazil. We used two CBERS2 satellite scenes and supervised classification by the method of minimum distance. PPAs were defined with the aid of geotecnhology based on the Brazilian environmental legislation (law nº. 12.651/2012) (Brasil, 2012). PPA mapping was performed on a Digital Elevation Model (1:25.000) and planialtimetric mapping (1:10.000) was used for the drainage network. We identified 40.02 km² of PPAs, corresponding to 15.01% of the municipality studied. The Guandu River PPA was the largest (7.23%), while the urban lakes PPA was the smallest (0.04%). No PPAs of slope (<40°) or hill top (slope <25° with altitude <100 m) were identified in the municipality. The following data were found regarding the conflicts of land use: 58.1% exposed soil, 21.7% grassland, 7.8% sand/mining, and 3.9% urban area. Results indicate the efficiency of geotecnhology in municipal management.

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a influência da topografia no balanço de radiação e na disponibilidade hídrica em microbacia hidrográfica com plantio de eucalipto, bem como verificar os efeitos dos plantios de eucalipto na regularização do escoamento da água. Foram monitorados os componentes do balanço hídrico em uma microbacia hidrográfica localizada na região Leste do Estado de Minas Gerais. Os componentes do balanço hídrico foram computados pontual e espacialmente, em escala horária, para a camada útil do solo. Os resultados foram comparados com os valores medidos a partir da lâmina escoada pelo curso d'água. Nos meses em que houve disponibilidade de água no solo, os valores médios da transpiração real, estimada a partir do método espacial, foram maiores que os estimados pelo método pontual. A estimativa do balanço hídrico é mais eficiente quando considera os efeitos do relevo. As florestas de eucalipto regulam o escoamento de água em microbacias hidrográficas.

The objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of topography on radiation balance and water availability in micro watersheds planted with eucalyptus, and to verify the effects of eucalyptus plantations in regulating water flow. Water balance components were monitored in a micro watershed located in the Eastern region of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Water balance components were computed punctually and spatially, in hourly time scale, for the useful layer of soil. The results were compared with the values measured from the water depth drained by the watercourse. In months with soil water availability, the average values of real transpiration estimated by the spatial method were higher than those estimated by the punctual method. Water balance estimation is more efficient when it considers the relief effects. Eucalyptus forests regulate water flow in micro watersheds.

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar parâmetros biofísicos de superfície do Bioma Pantanal com a aplicação de geotecnologias. Foram utilizados o algoritmo Sebal ("surface energy balance algorithm for land"), imagens do sensor Modis ("moderate‑resolution imaging spectroradiometer") e o mapa de classes de uso e cobertura da terra. Os resultados obtidos para NDVI, temperatura da superfície, albedo, fluxo de calor sensível diário, saldo de radiação diário e evapotranspiração real diária foram consistentes com dados de literatura para os diferentes usos e cobertura da terra, e corroboram a eficiência da capacidade analítica e sinóptica das estimativas do Sebal. Tais resultados mostram o potencial de geotecnologias na implementação de modelos ou algoritmos voltados para a compreensão da dinâmica de processos biofísicos de interação solo‑planta‑atmosfera do Pantanal.

The objective of this work was to evaluate surface biophysical parameters of the Pantanal biome, Brazil, by the application of geotechnologies. The Sebal algorithm, Modis imagery, and land use and land cover map were used. The obtained results for NDVI, surface temperature, albedo, daily sensible heat flux, daily net radiation and daily actual evapotranspiration were consistent with literature data for the different land use and land cover classes, and corroborate the analytical and synoptic capacity of Sebal estimates. These results show the potential of geotechnologies in the implementation of models or algorithms developed for the understanding of biophysical process dynamics related to the soil‑plant‑atmosphere interactions in Pantanal.

O conhecimento detalhado de radiação solar total que incide sobre uma região é importante para o planejamento das atividades florestais. Poucos trabalhos têm considerado a topologia da região para determinar o saldo de radiação solar (Rn), o que pode levar a erros significativos de estimativa dessa variável, dependendo do tipo de relevo predominante na região. Este estudo teve como objetivo estimar o Rn em plantios de eucalipto, levando-se em consideração a exposição do terreno em plantios florestais de eucalipto, bem como comparar essas estimativas com a estimativa em condições de topografia plana. A simulação foi realizada para os anos de 2001 e 2002, em uma microbacia do rio Doce. As encostas com orientações para o norte, nordeste e noroeste apresentaram aumentos do Rn em relação à estimativa da superfície plana, pelo fato de que, nessa época do ano, o sol, em seu movimento aparente, encontra-se ao norte da microbacia. Entretanto, as encostas com orientações para o sul, sudeste e sudoeste tiveram diminuição do Rn quando comparadas com as condições de topografia plana. A inclinação das encostas influenciou a magnitude das diferenças de ganho e perda de Rn. Quanto maiores as inclinações das encostas voltadas para o norte, noroeste e nordeste, maiores as variações, atingindo valores percentuais de aumento do Rn de até 40%, em julho. Portanto, verificou-se existir importante influência das diferentes inclinações e orientações das encostas nos totais diários do Rn.

The detailed knowledge of the total solar radiation that reaches a surface is fundamental for the planning of the forest activities. A few research works cited in the literature have considered the topographic effect of the region to determine the solar radiation balance (Rn), in which, depending on the predominant topographic relief of the region, significant errors can be obtained. This study was carried out to estimate the Rn considering the slope aspect of the terrain for eucalypt forest plantation, and to compare this estimates with and flat terrain areas. The simulation was carried out for the years of 2001 and 2002 in Rio Doce watershed. The hillsides with northward, northeast and the northwest orientation presented increases in Rn in relation to the estimate for flat horizontal surface, because at this time of the year, the sun, in its apparent movement, tape place north of the watershed. However, the hillsides with south, southeast and southwest orientation, presented reduction in Rn when compared with the conditions of flat topography. The hillsides inclination influenced in the magnitude of the differences between gain of energies and loss Rn. The hillsides inclinations faced northward, the northwest and northeast, had greaters variations, witch increased Rn of up to 40%, in July. It was demonstrated that exist important influence of the different slopes and aspects of the hillsides terrain over the total daily radiation balance.
