Resumo Com base na relação saúde e migrações, o artigo analisa as condições sociais e de saúde de imigrantes que trabalham nos frigoríficos de carnes e derivados, nos municípios do interior do Rio Grande do Sul e de Santa Catarina, no contexto da pandemia de Covid-19. As dificuldades de acesso à saúde e aos direitos básicos (como a biossegurança), a discriminação racial, a xenofobia e as vulnerabilidades socioeconômicas são fatores que marcam as condições de trabalho desses migrantes nos frigoríficos do Sul do país. As conclusões apontam a necessidade de implementar políticas públicas de saúde que incorporem novas formas de interdependência entre os sistemas produtivos e os indivíduos e grupos sociais, oriundos de processos migratórios, e a mitigação das vulnerabilidades sociais e iniquidades em saúde às quais esses trabalhadores estão expostos para o enfrentamento à pandemia.

Abstract Based on approaches to the relationship between health and migration, the article analyzes the social and health conditions of international migrants working in the slaughterhouses for meat and meat products, in the cities of the interior of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, in the context of the pandemic de COVID 19. Difficulties in accessing health and basic rights (such as biosafety), racial discrimination, xenophobia and socioeconomic vulnerabilities are factors that mark the working conditions of these migrants in slaughterhouses in the south of the country. The conclusions point to the need to implement public health policies that incorporate new forms of adaptation and integration of individuals and groups, derived from migratory processes, and mitigation of the social vulnerabilities and health iniquities to which these workers are exposed, to face the pandemic.

Resumo O artigo analisa o impacto dos recentes processos migratórios e sua relação com a formação em saúde. As relações entre mobilidade humana e os processos de saúde e adoecimento estão na ordem do dia dos debates internacionais. O objetivo deste artigo é discutir o papel das políticas de saúde no Brasil e suas relações com o acolhimento de imigrantes, especialmente no que se refere ao entendimento das necessidades de investir em formação na área da saúde para que ela se adapte a essa realidade. O estudo foi realizado na região do Vale do Taquari, Rio Grande do Sul, tendo como sujeitos imigrantes majoritariamente haitianos que ali se estabeleceram entre 2012 e 2016. Os resultados apontam para a necessidade de desnaturalizar a doença associada ao corpo de imigrantes as representações das migrações como vetores de adoecimento, bem como de incluir no programa dos cursos da área da saúde temas sobre mobilidade humana e seus impactos visando a melhoria do acolhimento. Apresentam-se também as dificuldades de oferecer um serviço adequado aos novos imigrantes em um contexto de serviços de saúde precários para as populações locais. Esse debate deve ser seriamente considerado nas discussões para formação em saúde.

Abstract The article analyzes the impact of recent migration processes on health and its relationship with health education. The relationship between human mobility and the processes of health and illness are on the agenda of international debates. The purpose of this article is to discuss the role of health policies in Brazil and their relationship with the reception of immigrants, especially with regard to understanding the needs to invest in training in the area of health so that it adapts to this reality. The study was carried out in the region of Vale do Taquari, in Rio Grande do Sul, with mostly Haitian immigrant subjects who settled there between 2012 and 2016. The results point to the need to denaturalize the disease associated with the body of immigrants, and the representations of migrations as vectors of illness, as well as including in the program of courses in the health area themes on human mobility and its impacts, aiming at improving reception. Are also discussed the difficulties in offering an adequate service to new immigrants in a context of precarious health services for local populations. This debate must be seriously considered and included in the discussions for health education at universities.

Resumo: Neste artigo, são apresentadas descrições etnográficas de um Centro de Referência de Assistência Social (CRAS), equipamento do Sistema Único de Assistência Social (SUAS), com o intuito de compreender a performatividade de gênero e sexualidade na Política Nacional de Assistência Social (PNAS). A proposta de diminuição das desigualdades de gênero é um dos propósitos desta política que reconhece as mulheres como agentes da proteção social, principalmente no contexto familiar. A forma como essas políticas vêm se organizando acaba por performatizar as feminizações por meio de uma “biopolítica da maternidade” que se operacionaliza, de forma concreta, nas práticas, repercutindo diretamente nos processos de subjetivação e na configuração da gestão das relações familiares e sociais.

Abstract: In this article, it is presented ethnographic descriptions of a Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS), from the Universal Social Assistance System (SUAS), with the intuition of understanding gender and sexual performativity within the National Social Assistance Politics (PNAS). The proposal to diminish gender inequalities is highlighted as one of the goals of these politics. SUAS recognizes women as the agents of social protection, especially in the familiar context. The way these politics have been organized, ends up performing feminization, through a “motherhood biopolitics” and it is operated, in a concrete way, in the practices reverberating directly in the subjectivity processes of its users as well as in the configuration of the administration of the familial and social relations.
