De uma plantação de citros, com os cultivares T. Cravo (Citrus reticulata Blanco), L.Hamlin (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck), T. Murcott (Citrus reticulata Blanco x Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck), L. Natal (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck, L. Valencia (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck) e L. Pera (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck), situada na "Fazenda Sete Lagoas", no município de Mogi-Guaçu (22° 22% 46° 56'W.Gr.), em Latossolo Vermelho amarelo, fase arenosa, foram coletados frutos 30 dias após florescimento, até a idade da coleta comercial. No material coletado, foram determinadas a variação da matéria seca, a concentração dos macro e micronutrientes nas folhas adjacentes ao fruto, a extração de macro e micronutríentes pelos frutos, a produção de suco (ml) por fruto e a concentração de ácido ascórbico (mg/100 ml de suco). Concluiu-se que: 1. O aumento da matéria seca, intensifica-se a partir do segundo mês apos o florescimento; 2. Com exceção da T. Cravo, ocorre uma diminuição na produção de matéria seca no final do ciclo; 3. A concentração dos macro e micronutrientes nas folhas apresenta oscilações durante o desenvolvimento do fruto; 4. A ordem decrescente de extração de nutrientes é: K, N, Ca, Mg, P = S, Fe, B, Zn, Mn, Cu; 5. A capacidade de exportação de nutrientes pelos cultivares é, em ordem decrescente: L. Pera, L. Hamlin = T. Cravo, T. Murcott, L. Valencia, L. Natal; 6. A quantidade de suco produzido por fruto, oscila entre 43 a 95 ml; 7. A concentração de ácido ascórbico (mg/100 ml de suco), varia entre 30 a 95.

The experiment was carried out in a commercial citrus orchard located in Mogi-Guaçu (22° 22'S., 46° 56'WGr.), State of São Paulo, Brazil. Five orange types were studied: Cravo (Citrus reticulata Blanco); Hamlin (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck); Natal (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck); Valencia (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck) and Pera (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck) and a tangerine Murcott (Citrus reticulata Blanco x Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck). Fruits were picked from 30 days after flowering to the peak of commercial harvest. Leaves nearest the fruits were collected at the same time as the fruits. Sampled material was used to determine: fruit dry weight, macronutrient and micronutrient concentration in the leaves, nutrient extraction by the fruits, juice production per fruit and ascorbic acid concentration in the juice. Fruit dry weight increased following the second month after flowering. Except for Cravo orange fruit dry weight decreased at the end of the cycle. Macronutrient and micronutrient concentrations in the leaves showed variations during fruit development. Rate of nutrient extraction in decreasing order was: K, N, Ca, Mg, P = S, Fe, B, Zn, Mn and Cu. The cultivar that exported the largest amount of nutrients was Pera followed by Hamlin = Cravo, Murcott, Valencia and Natal. Juice per fruit ranged between 43 and 95 mililiters whereas ascorbic acid concentration ranged between 30 and 95 miligrams per 100 mililiters of juice.

Em uma plantação de cafeeiros (Coffea arábica L. cv. Catuai) com dois, três, quatro e cinco anos de idade no campo situada em Latossolo Vermelho Amarelo, fase cerrado, na Fazenda Santo Izidro, município de Salto,SP. determinou-se a acumulação de Ca, Mg e S no caule, ramos, folhas e frutos durante as fases fenológicas de repouso, granação e maturação. Concluiu-se que: a maior acumulação de Ca pela parte aérea nos meses de julho, janeiro e junho ocorre em cafeeiros com cinco anos; a acumulação de Mg e S varia em função das épocas. O cafeeiro aos cinco anos de campo exporta através da colheita, em função do conteúdo total na planta 26% de Ca, 32% de Mg e 37% de S.

From a coffee plantation situated on a Red-Yellow Latossol in the Santo Izidro farm near Salto, State of São Paulo, Brazil, coffee plants two, three, four and five years old were cut near the ground level of the soil at the following grown periods: July (grow almost nihil), January (pin-head stage) and June (ripe stage). The material was divided into stem, branches, leaves and fruits, dried at 80°C and analyzed by conventional laboratory methods. The authors concluded: - The greatest accumulation of calcium, occurs in the aerial parts of the five year old coffee plants during the months of July, January and June. The accumulation of magnesium and sulphur, differ for the different ages of the tree. - Fruits of five year old coffee trees export through-out the following percentage in terms of the total content in the tree: Ca - 2 6%; Mg - 32% and S - 37%.

De uma plantação bem conduzida no Município de Caraguatatuba, litoral do Estado de São Paulo, foram coletadas plantas (Zingeber officinalis, Rosae, var. Brasil) em número nunca inferior a quatro por amostragem a partir de dois meses da brotação até a época da colheita com intervalos de trinta dias. As plantas após a coleta foram divididas em folhas, "caule", flores e rizomas, tratadas e analisadas para macro e micronutrientes de acordo com os métodos tradicionais de laboratório. Os autores concluíram que o gengibre tem um crescimento contínuo e a extração de macronutrientes obedece a seguinte ordem decrescente: N, K, Ca, Mg, S e P. Para os micronutrientes a ordem decrescente é: Fe, Mn, Zn, B e Cu. Os rizomas exportam 15,3% do total de nutrientes contidos na plantação. A cultura do gengibre pode ser considerada como exigente em nutrientes.

From a well managed plantation situated in Caraguatatuba on the coast of the State of São Paulo, Brazil, plants were collected from two months after the emergence to the final stage of maturity at 30 days intervals. The plants were separated into leaves, "stems", flowers and rhizomes. Plant materia] was washed, dried and analyzed by laboratory conventional methods for N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, B, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn. The authors concluded that: a) ginger plants present a continuous growth; b) macronutrients were accumulated in the following decreasing order: N, K, Ca, Mg, S and P, while the order for micronutrients was: Fe, Mn, Zn, B and Cu; c) rhizomes exported 15.3% of the total nutrients content of the plantation.

Um ensaio foi conduzido para se determinar o efeito da omissão de macronutrientes e de boro e zinco em solução nutritiva, na avaliação do crescimento e sintomatologia de carência destes elementos. As plântulas foram cultivadas até a obtenção dos sintomas. As plantas foram coletadas e divididas em folhas novas, folhas velhas, colmos, pendões, palhas e espigas. O material foi seco e analisado quimicamente. Os autores observaram uma redução na produção de matéria seca das diversas partes em função da omissão dos nutrientes do meio nutritivo. A redução obedeceu a seguinte ordem decrescente: -N, -P, -K e em menor escala -Ca, -Mg, -Zn, -B, e -S. Os níveis analíticos encontrados nas folhas novas em plantas bem nutridas e desnutridas foram: N% 1,29-0,72: P% 0,17-0,03; K% 1,33-0,15; Ca% 0,90-0,74; Mg% 0,36-0,03; S% 0,20-0,08; B ppm 39-21; Zn ppm 3-4. Os níveis analíticos encontrados nas folhas velhas em plantas bem nutridas e desnutridas foram: N% 0,54-0,48; P% 0,05-0,02; K% 1,12-0,08; Ca% 1,05-0,70; Mg% 0,54-0,03; S% 0,13-0,10; B ppm 58-25; Zn ppm 2-10. Foram descritos os sintomas de carência de todos os elementos pesquisados.

Young sweet corn plants (Zea mays var. sachirata L.) cv. Contibrasil were transplanted to pots containing 7kg of S and size pure quartz. During the first 5 days the plants received only water. Treatments were started 18 days after germination and consisted of: complete solution (all nutrients): -N, -P, -K, -Ca, -Mg, -S, -B, -Zn. Solutions were supplied to the plants through percolation. Plants were collected as soon as the symptoms appeared and divided into: new leaves, old leaves, stem, tassel, straw, and cob. All the material was dried at 80°C for several days and analysed for nutrient content by laboratory conventional methods. The authors concluded that: a) omission of any of the elements reduce plant growth; b) clear cut symptoms were obtained for all nutrients; c) levels in the new leaves both healthy and diseased were: N% 1.29-0.72; P% 0.17-0.03; K% 1.33-0.15; Ca% 0.90-0.74; Mg% 0.36-0.03; S% 0.20-0.08; B ppm 39-21; Zn ppm 3-4; and d) levels in the old leaves, both healthy and diseased, were: N% 0.54-0.48; P% 0.05-0.02; K% 1.12-0.08; Ca% 1.05-0.70; Mg% 0.54-0.03; S% 0.13-0.10; B ppm 58-25; Zn ppm 2-10.

Determinou-se o crescimento e a extração de nutrientes pelos frutos das variedades, Haden, Sensation, Tommy-Atkins e Edward, colhidos em sete épocas distintas, de um pomar de nove anos situado sobre uma "terra roxa estruturada" em Piracicaba, SP. Os frutos foram lavados, pesados e analisados para macro e micronutrientes. O crescimento dos frutos nas variedades obedece a seguinte ordem decrescente: Edward, Haden, Tommy-Atkins e Sensation. O conteúdo total de nutrientes nas variedades foi em ordem decrescente: Haden , Tommy-Atkins, Edward e Sensation.

Quantities of nutrients removed by the harvest of mango fruits (Mangifera indica L.) of four varieties (Haden, Sensation, Tommy-Atkins and Edward) are presented. The orchard was nine years old, situated on an alfison in Piracicaba, SP, Brazil. The fruits were harvested 39, 55, 97, 108, 125 and 144 days from the initial stage of growth. The fruits were rinsed, dried, weighed, and analyzed for nutrient content by laboratory conventional methods. The authors concluded: Fruit growth followed the decreasing order: Edward, Haden, Tommy-Atkins and Sensation; The total amount of nutrients (macro and micronutrients) removed by each variety for the production of 15,000kg of fresh fruits by hectare amounted to: Haden 44kg, Sensation 29kg, Tommy-Atkins 40kg and Edward 39kg.

Plantas de urucu (Bixa orellana L. var. Peruana) foram cultivadas em vasos contendo como substrato silica moida e irrigadas periodicamente com solução completa (todos os nutrientes) e com omissão de N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S e B. Uma vez evidenciados os sintomas de desnutrição as plantas foram coletadas e divididas em folhas superiores, folhas inferiores, caule e raiz. O material seco foi analisado para os elementos em questão. Foi obtido o quadro sintomatológico das carências e foram encontrados os seguintes níveis analíticos em folhas do tratamento completo e dos tratamentos com omissão: N% 3,04 - 1,89; P% 0,16 - 0,04; K% 2,67 - 0,15; Ca% 1,10 - 0,50; Mg% 0,28 - 0,19; S% 0,24 - 0,16; B ppm 42,00 - 19,00.

Young anatto plants (Bixa orellana L. var. Peruana) were grown in nutrient solutions for the purpose of studying deficiency symptoms of the following elements: N, P, K, Ca, Mg, sulphur and B. The present paper describes the symptoms on anatto plants that were associated with nutrient solutions deficient in the various elements listed. The paper presents also the satisfactory range and deficient range in the leaves: N% 3.04 - 1.89; P% 0.16 - 0.04; K% 2.67 - 0.15; Ca% 1.10 - 0.50; Mg% 0.28 - 0.19; S% 0.24 - 0.16, B ppm 42.00 - 19.00.

O salsão (Apium graveolens L. var. Dulce) é uma hortaliça pouco cultivada no Brasil, encontra-se atualmente em franca expansão devido o aumento da demanda pelas indústrias de sopas desidratadas. Como nos países que tradicionalmente cultivam o salsão apresentam sérios problemas nutricionais, foi proposto neste trabalho os seguintes objetivos. Aquilatar o efeito de doses crescentes de cálcio no seu desenvolvimento; Descrever os sintomas de deficiência e excesso de cálcio; Verificar diferenças de resistências a anomalia do blackheart entre os cultiva res Cornell 6-19 e Golden Detroit. Para atender estes objetivos foi realizado um ensaio em condições controladas, cultivando-se o salsão em solução nutritiva em presença dos níveis de cálcio - 0, 50, 100, 150, 200 e 300 ppm de Ca. Os autores concluíram que: É possível caracterizar com nitidez a deficiência de cálcio em ambas as cultivares; A cultivar Golden Detroit apresenta maior resistência ao aparecimento dos sintomas de deficiência de cálcio do que a cultivar Cornell 6-19. Os sintomas de deficiência de cálcio nas folhas novas de ambas as cultivares manifestam-se com a concentração de cálcio em solução nutritiva igual ou inferior a 150 ppm; O aumento da concentração de cálcio na solução nutritiva favorece o crescimento das plantas e há maior acúmulo de matéria-seca nas doses mais elevadas. O aumento de concentração de cálcio na solução nutritiva induz a uma diminuição de manganês em parte aérea das plantas.

Cerely (Apium graveolens L. var. dulce) is not very much cultivated in Brazil, but nowadays its cultivation has been expanded because of the increasing use of it mainly by desidrated soup industries. As the countries that tradicionally cultivate cerely have present serious nutricional problems, this work was proposed with the next objectives: To examine the effects of increasing doses of calcium in the development and production. To describe the symptoms of calcium deficiency and of excess of calcium supply. To verify the differences in resistance to the blackkeart anomaly between the cultivars Cornell 6-19 and Golden Detroit. To affair these objectives a green houve experiment was carried out us which cerely plant were cultivated in nutrient solutions which had the following calcium concentrations: 0, 50, 100, 150, 200 and 300 ppm of calcium. The authors concluded: It is possible to characterize a deficiency of calcium in both cultivars. The cultivar Golden Detroit presents a greater resistance to the symptoms of calcium deficiency. The increasing of the calcium concentration in the nutrient solutions induce a decrease of Mn concentration at the plants.

Plantas de milho (Pennisetum americanum cv. Bulb 1) forrageiro em condições controladas, foram submetidas a tratamento com solução nutritiva completa e com omissão de B, Cu, Fe, Mn e Zn tendo como objetivo avaliar a produção de matéria seca, a composição química e estabelecer o quadro sintomatológico das deficiências. As produções de matéria seca nos diversos tratamentos não diferiram do tratamento completo e acusaram os seguintes valores em g: tratamento completo 55,9; -B = 48,1; - Cu = 41,8; -Fe = 67,6; -Mn = 63,6 e -Zn = 57,9. Os níveis analíticos encontrados nas folhas novas no tratamento completo e deficiente em ppm foram: B - 145-26; Cu - 0,53 -0,10; Fe - 175-103; Mn - 62-12; Zn -27-12. O quadro sintomatológico das carências foi obtido para todos os micronutrientes estudados, com exceção do manganês.

Seeds of Pennisetum americanum cv Bulk 1 were sowel in pots containing fine quartz and irrigated with demineralized water. Two days after the germination the young plant, three per pod, received complete nutrient solution diluted for 1:15 during 18 days. All the nutrient solutions were purified for the micronutrients content. After these period all pods were irrigated several times a day with demineralized water during 4 days. When the experiment start groups of 12 plants (3 pods) received the complete solution and solutions without one of the micronutrients (-B, -Cu, -Fe, -Mn, -Zn). The solutions were changed every 10 days. After 52 days of the experimental period the plants were collected and divided into items, sheaths new leaves, old leaves and ears. The material was dried to 70°C for several days and analysed by conventional methods. The authors concluded: No differences were observed by the dry matter productions of the plants in the treatments. The analytical levels of the elements in the new leaves of the complete treatment and with omission of the micronutrients were in ppm: B - 145-26; Cu - 0,53-0,10; Fe - 175-103; mn - 62-12; Zn - 27-12. A clear picture was obtained of the mal nutrition symptoms for the micronutrients less than for Mn.

A fim de pesquisar o efeito dos níveis de 0, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 e 300 ppm de cálcio na solução nutritiva sobre a composição de micronutrientes no milheto forrageiro, foi conduzido um experimento na casa de vegetação, durante trita e oito dias. Após este período as plantas foram coletadas e divididas em folhas adjacentes a espiga, folhas não adjacentes, espigas e colmos que foram secas a 70°-80°C e analisadas para B, Cu, Fe, Mn e Zn. Os micronutrientes acumularam-se na seguinte ordem: B-157,7 mg nas folhas adjacentes; 1308,5 mg nas folhas não adjacentes; Zn - 152,3 mg nos nos colmos e 1254,6 mg nas espigas; Cu - 10,3 mg nas folhas adjacentes e 118,5 mg nas espigas; Fe - 344,8 mg nas folhas e 4344,1 mg nos colmos e até 1749,3 mg nas folhas não adjacentes; Mn - 120,5 mg nos colmos e 1749,9 nas folhas não adjacentes. Verificaram, ainda, os autores que os níveis de cálcio reduziram a concentração de Zn, Cu, Fe e Mn nas plantas. Os níveis de cálcio não reduziram a absorção de B. Finalmente constataram que sob o ponto de vista de nutrição animal os níveis de cálcio não afetaram os requerimentos mínimos dos elementos.

An experiment was conducted in glass-house in order to check the effects of different levels of calcium on the micronutrient composition of millet plants during 38 days. The following treatments were applied: 0, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 ppm of calcium in the nutrient solutions. The plants were harvested after 38 days and divided into young leaves, old leaves, ears and stolk, which were analyzed for B, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn. The authors concluded: The calcium levels reduced the concentrations of Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn in the plants; The calcium levels did not affected the absorption of B; The calcium levels in the nutrient solutions did not affected the minimum requirements of Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn for the cattle nutrition.

Com os objetivos de determinar: 1) O quadro sintomatológico das carências dos macronutrientes e de boro; 2) Concentração dos macronutrientes e de boro nas folhas novas, velhas e no caule na presença e ausência dos nutrientes. Foi instalado em ensaio em solução nutritiva tendo como sílica o substrato. Os tratamentos constaram da omissão de N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, B, e presença de todos os nutrientes. Acompanhou-se o desenvolvimento dos sintomas e uma vez evidenciados coletou-se as plantas que foram analisadas para os elementos em estudo. Verificou-se que: 1) Houve efeito na produção de matéria seca influência pela omissão de N, P, K, Ca e Mg; 2) Os sintomas visuais de deficiência são bem definidos e de fácil caracterização para todos os nutrientes; 3) Os níveis de deficiência adequado, obtidos nas folhas foram: N% 1,23-3,06; P% 0,04-0,11; K% 1,15-3,25; Ca% 0,20-0,59; Mg% 1,13-1,25, S% 0,16-0,20; B ppm 34-59.

In order to obtain: 1) the deficiency symptoms of the macronutrients and boron; 2) nutrient levels in the plants. Tabaco plants were cultivated in pots containing pure quartz and irrigated with nutrient solutions with different compositions. Solution containig all the nutrients, solutions lacking N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S or B. Once the symptoms were clearly identified the plants were harvested and divided into stem, old and young leaves. The material was dried at 80°C and analysed for the elements. The authors concluded 1) only the omission of N, P, K, Ca and Mg affected the dry matter productions; 2) the malnutrition symptoms were identified for each element; 3) the range of the elements exprensed in dry matter for unheal thy and heal thy leaves: N% 1.23-3.06; P% 0.04-0.11; K% 1.15-3.25; Ca% 0.20-0.59; Mg% 1.13-1.25, S% 0.16-0.20; B-ppm 34-59.

Com o objetivo de determinar: . Curva de crescimento da planta; . Concentração e acumulação de nutrientes pela cultura em função de idade; . Exportação de nutrientes através das folhas. Foi instalado um experimento de campo na Estação Experimental de Tietê, localizado em um solo Podzólico Vermelho Amarelo var. Lara sem o emprego de fertilizantes. O delineamento experimental foi o inteiramente casualizado com 4 repetições. Amostragem de plantas foram efetuadas 12, 24, 48, 60 e 72 dias após o transplante. Os autores observa ram que a maior velocidade de acúmulo de matéria seca ocorreu próximo aos 48 dias após o transplante. As concentrações mínimas dos nutrientes ocorreram próximo ao período de máximo acúmulo de matéria seca. O acúmulo máximo de matéria seca e de nutrientes ocorreu aos 72 dias após o transplante. As quantidades totais de nutrientes absorvidos pela cultura obedeceram a seguinte ordem: K N >Ca> Mg> P S Fe Mn B Zn Cu. A exportação de nutrientes pelas folhas obedeceram a seguinte ordem: K N Ca Mg > P S Fe> Mn > Zn B Cu.

In order to obtain: - The growth rate of tabacco plants; - The concentration of macro and micronutrients in the different organs of the plants; - The accumulation of nutrients by the entaire plants; - The exportation of nutrients trough the leaves. A field trial was execute at the Experimental Station of Tiete-Agronomic Institute of São Paulo State, Tiete (SP) Brazil in a soil classified as Podzolico Vermelho Amarelo. Plants (4 replications) with 12, 24, 36, 48, 60 and 72 days old were collected and divided into roots, stems and leaves the material was dried at 85° and a analysed for macro and micronutrients. The authors observed that: - The fasted growth speed occur 48 days after the transplant. - The nutrients were absorved by the tabacco plant in the fallowing order: K > N >Ca>Mg> P > S > Fe > B > Zn > Cu. - The nutrients were export in the leaves in the fallowing order: K > N > Ca> Mg > P > S > Fe > Mn> Zn > B >Cu.

Com o objetivo de obter dados referentes ao crescimento e concentração e acúmulo de macronutrientes em função da idade da planta, foram coleta das amostras de folhas, galhos secos, ponta e base de galhos primários, e ponta, meio e base do tronco de plantas de seringueira clone Fx 3864 com 1,0 a 4,0 anos de idade em plantações situadas sobre Latossol Vermelho-Amarelo textura argilosa na área da BONAL S.A., localizada na região de Rio Branco, AC. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que: - O maior incremento no crescimento ocorreu a partir do terceiro ano. - As maiores concentrações de nutrientes, ocorreram nas folhas. - A extração de nutrientes pela seringueira, por hectare, no quarto ano, foi a seguinte: N - 24, 54 kg, P - 1,82 kg, Ca - 11,07 kg, Mg - 5,29 kg, S - 1,88 kg, - região do Amazonas. - A extração total de macronutrientes pelo sistema, em ordem decrescente: N K Ca Mg S P.

Primary objective of this work was to study the growth, and concentration and accumulation of macronutrierts on the Hevea brasiliensis plants, at various ages. Leaves, stems and branches of rubber tree clone Fx 3864 from one year up to years old were collected from a plantation located at the BONAL S.A. farm at Rio Branco, Brasil the soil under the forest was classified as a heavy texture Red-Yellow Latosol. Results obtained showed that: - Highest growth increment occured from the third year on. - The leaves had the highest nutrient concentration - During the fourth year, nutrient extraction per hectare was: N - 24.54 kg, P - 1.82 kg, K - 18.29 kg, Ca - 11.07 kg, Mg - 5-29 kg, S - 1,88 kg. - Total macronutrients were absorbed in the following decreasing order: N, K, Ca, Mg, S, P.

Com o objetivo de obter dados referentes a concentração e acúmulo de micronutrientes em função da idade da planta, foram coletadas amostras de folhas, galhos secos, ponta e base de galhos primários, e ponta, meio e base do tronco de plantas de seringueira clone Fx 3864 com 1 a 4 anos de idade situadas sobre Latossol Vermelho-Amarelo, textura argilosa na área da BONAL S.A. localizada na região de Rio Branco, AC Os resultados mostraram que: 1. As maiores concentrações de nutrientes ocor rem nas folhas com exceção do cobre e zinco; 2. A extração de nutrientes por hectare no quarto ano foi de: B-29,4 g, Cu-18,3 g, Fe - 140 g, Mn - 437,7 g e Zn - 52,2 g; 3. A extração total de nutrientes, em ordem decrescente foi: Fe Mn Zn B Cu.

Primary objective of this work was to study concentration and accumulation of the micronutrients on the rubber plants, at variuns ages. Leaves, stems and branches from one year up to four years old were collected from a plantation located at the BONAL S.A. farm at Rio Branco, Brazil. The soil under the forest was classified as a heavy texture Red-Yellow Latossol. The results showed: The leaves had the highest nutrient concentration, with the exception for copper and zinc. During the fourth year, nutrient extraction per hectare was: 29.4 g B; 18.3 g Cu; 140.4 g Fe; 436.7 g Mn and 52.2 Zn. Total micronutrients were absorbed in the following decreasing order: Fe > Mn > Zn > B > Cu.

Com a finalidade de se obter o quadro sintomatológico das carências de N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S e B, assim como os níveis analíticos correspondentes, mudas de colza foram cultivadas em vasos contendo sílica moída, irrigadas com solução completa e deficiente nos nutrientes. Foram descritos todos os sintomas de deficiência. Os níveis analíticos em folhas sadias e deficientes são: N- 2,04% - 0,70%; P- 0,40% - 0,10%; K- 1,17% - 0,10%; Ca - 1,20% - 0,13%; Mg- 0,70% - 0,11%; S- 0,49% - 0,42%; B- 71ppm-18ppm.

O ensaio foi conduzido com macieiras 'Ohio Beauty' com 1 ano, cultivadas em vaso para se verificar sintomas e níveis de deficiências de N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S e B. Conclui - se que: os níveis de nutrientes em folhas sadias e com sintomas de deficiência são: N -2,22 e 1,53%, P - 0,17 e 0,05%; K - 1,32 e 0,22%, Ca - 0,9¹* e 0,52%, Mg - 0,37 60,06%, S - 0,18 e 0,08%, B - 62 e 2k ppm. Os níveis de deficiência em folhas,a fome oculta" são: N - 1,74%, P - 0,07%, K - 0,30%, Ca - 0,65%, Mg - 0,09%, S - 0,09%, B-33ppm.
