According to Leitão (2007a; 2007b), argumentation is a privileged mechanism for the acquisition of language and knowledge, covering dimensions such as dialogical-discursive, dialectical, social and epistemic. This demonstrates the importance of developing it in the first years of school, especially in bilingual schools. The objective of this study is, therefore, to analyze the argumentative speeches produced by deaf children, seeking to identify the enunciative-discursive chains that generate argumentation and the epistemic changes generated by the effect of these argumentative speeches. For this, data collection was carried out in three bilingual schools (Portuguese-Libras), focused on the education of the deaf, covering a sample of 23 subjects, between 6 and 14 years old, where naturalistic situations were observed and provoked by playful workshops. Drawing on studies in argumentation (LEITÃO, 2006, 2007a; VIEIRA, 2015), multimodality (SOUSA; MÁXIMO, 2009; CAVALCANTE, 2016; 2011) and dialogism (VOLÓCHINOV; BAKHTIN, 2018; BAKHTIN, 2016), it was possible to conclude that argumentation stimulates discursive and linguistic movements (such as resuming statements, reading the context and syntactic organization) and multimodal movements (facial expression, social gestures, use of the body, etc.) that corroborate bimodal bilingual acquisition. Thus, argumentation contributes to the deaf child's entry into the language and favors the interactional process, which is extremely important for the formation of critical thinking and the expected language development.

Para Leitão (2007a; 2007b), a argumentação é um mecanismo privilegiado para a aquisição da linguagem e do conhecimento, perpassando dimensões como a dialógico-discursiva, dialética, social e epistêmica. Demonstra-se, assim, a importância de desenvolvê-la nos primeiros anos escolares, sobretudo em escolas bilíngues. O objetivo deste estudo é, portanto, analisar os discursos argumentativos produzidos por crianças surdas, buscando identificar os encadeamentos enunciativo-discursivos que geram a argumentação e as mudanças epistêmicas geradas pelo efeito desses discursos argumentativos. Para tanto, foram realizadas coletas de dados em três escolas bilíngues (Português-Libras), voltadas à educação de surdos, abarcando uma amostra de 23 sujeitos, entre 6 e 14 anos, onde foram observadas situações naturalísticas e provocadas por oficinas lúdicas. Amparando-se nos estudos em argumentação (LEITÃO, 2006, 2007a; VIEIRA, 2015), multimodalidade (SOUSA; MÁXIMO, 2009; CAVALCANTE, 2016; 2011) e dialogismo (VOLÓCHINOV; BAKHTIN, 2018; BAKHTIN, 2016), pôde-se concluir que a argumentação estimula movimentos discursivos e linguísticos (como retomada de enunciados, leitura do contexto e organização sintática) e multimodais (expressão facial, gestos sociais, uso do corpo, etc) que corroboram à aquisição bilíngue bimodal. Assim, a argumentação contribui à entrada da criança surda na língua e favorece o processo interacional, que é de extrema importância à formação do pensamento crítico e ao desenvolvimento linguageiro esperado.

Abstract The water table apparatus allows the qualitative visualization of natural ventilation in reduced physical models. The quality of the results depends on several parameters, such as the obstruction rate of the reduced physical model in the test area. However, there is a lack of scientific research that analyzes the influence of this rate on the quality of results. The objective of this article is to qualitatively evaluate the fluid behavior at different values of clogging rate of the reduced physical model of the test area on the water table. The research method was divided into four stages: model selection; construction of reduced physical models; experimental tests on the water table and simulations of Computational Fluid Dynamics. In general, the behavior of the fluid in the experimental and simulation results is similar. However, the models with low and high obstruction rates present difficulties in handling and visualizing the behavior of the fluid. Thus, it is concluded that frontal obstruction rates (in cross section) between 24.14% and 30.49% and in-plan obstruction rates between 4.16% and 3.26% showed better performance. However, it is not possible to determine an exact scale for carrying out tests, as the scale will vary according to the proportions of the model to be studied.

Resumo Amesa d’água possibilita a visualização qualitativa da ventilação natural em modelos físicos reduzidos. A qualidade dos resultados depende de diversos parâmetros, tais como a taxa de obstrução do modelo físico reduzido na área de ensaio. No entanto, faltam pesquisas científicas que analisam a influência dessa taxa na qualidade dos resultados. O objetivo do artigo é avaliar, qualitativamente, o comportamento do fluido para diferentes valores de taxa de obstrução do modelo físico reduzido na área de ensaio da mesa d’água. O método foi dividido em quatro etapas: seleção dos modelos; construção dos modelos físicos reduzidos; ensaios na mesa d’água e simulações Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). De forma geral, o comportamento do fluido nos experimentos e nas simulações são similares. No entanto, os modelos com baixa e alta taxa de obstrução apresentam dificuldade de manipulação e visualização do comportamento do fluido. Nota-se que as taxas de obstrução entre 24,14% e 30,49% (corte) e as taxas entre 4,16% e 3,26% (planta) apresentaram melhor desempenho. Entretanto, não foi possível determinar uma escala exata para os ensaios, pois esta irá variar conforme proporções do modelo a ser estudado.

ABSTRACT This article presents the main results of a research on contemporary slave labor, financed by the International Labour Organization , with rescued workers in the city Açailândia (MA). Using the focal groups method, the objective was to analyze the experience of workers who underwent the process of slavery that culminated in slave labor, based on their narrative constructions. The narrative of the rescued workers’ experiences provided fundamental information on the distinct dynamics that characterize contemporary slave labor, including their profile and life conditions, the profile and modus operandi of the captors, the profile and modus operandi of the owners of companies that enslave workers, the seasonality and immigration (origin-destination), the process of exploitation and the degradation in working conditions.

RESUMO Este artigo apresenta os principais resultados de uma pesquisa sobre Trabalho Escravo Contemporâneo, financiada pela Organização Internacional do Trabalho e realizada no município de Açailândia (MA), com trabalhadores resgatados. A partir da estratégia metodológica dos grupos focais, o objetivo foi analisar a experiência de trabalhadores que vivenciaram o processo de escravização que culmina no trabalho escravo, a partir de suas construções narrativas. As narrativas das experiências dos trabalhadores resgatados forneceram informações fundamentais sobre as distintas dinâmicas que caracterizam o TEC, como o perfil e as condições de vida dos trabalhadores resgatados; o perfil e o modus operandi dos aliciadores; o perfil e o modus operandi dos proprietários das empresas que escravizam sua mão de obra; a sazonalidade e imigração (origem - destino), o processo de exploração e a degradância nas condições de trabalho.

ABSTRACT The primates that inhabit the rainforest surrounding the city of Manaus (Amazonas, Brazil) have long been recognised as potentially important reservoirs of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases (ERIDs). PCR amplification of filarial sequences from wild-caught Simulium oyapockense has been used to incriminate potentially important Amazon-region ERID bridge vectors by showing they had previously fed on non-human primates. The broader use of filarial parasite sequences for the incrimination of biting insects as potentially important zoonotic disease vectors is limited by a paucity of primate-derived filarial parasite reference sequences which can be matched to the PCR amplified sequences obtained from insect-vector vectors. Here we have used shotgun sequencing to obtain reference data from an adult Dipetalonema gracile parasite which was found infecting a wild pied tamarin (Saguinus bicolor) in a peripheral region of Manaus. We report the parasite´s complete mitochondrial genome (which is 13,647 base pairs in length), 894,846 base pairs of its Wolbachia genome and 6,426 base pairs of its ribosomal DNA locus (spanning from the start of its 18S subunit to the end of its 28S subunit). Despite being critically endangered, S. bicolor is commonly encountered around the periphery of Manaus and in urban forest fragments. The reported sequences may be a useful reference tool for identifying ERID bridge vectors and potentially provide some insights into the amount and the nature of contact between primate pathogen reservoirs and the residents of Manaus.

RESUMO Os primatas que habitam a floresta tropical ao redor da cidade de Manaus (Amazonas, Brasil) há muito são reconhecidos como reservatórios potencialmente importantes de doenças infecciosas emergentes e reemergentes. Sequências de DNA de parasitas filariais detectadas por PCR em amostras de Simulium oyapockense foram usadas para demonstrar que eles haviam se alimentado anteriormente de primatas não humanos e, dessa maneira, incriminar vetores-ponte da região amazônica. O uso mais amplo de detecção de parasitas filariais para a incriminação de vetores-ponte é limitado por uma escassez de sequências referência de parasitas filarias obtidas de hospedeiros. Aqui nós usamos o sequenciamento tipo shotgun para obter dados de referência de um parasita adulto Dipetalonema gracile encontrado infectando um sauim-de-coleira, Saguinus bicolor no entorno de Manaus. Relatamos o genoma mitocondrial completo do parasita (que tem 13.647 pares de bases de comprimento), 894.846 pares de bases de seu genoma de Wolbachia e 6.426 pares de bases de seu locus de DNA ribossômico (desde o início de sua subunidade 18S até o final de sua subunidade 28S). Apesar de criticamente ameaçado, S. bicolor é comumente encontrado no entorno de Manaus e em fragmentos florestais urbanos. As sequências relatadas podem ser uma ferramenta de referência útil para identificar vetores ponte e potencialmente fornecer algumas informações sobre o contato entre reservatórios de patógenos de primatas e os moradores de Manaus.

ABSTRACT Background: New-onset chronic pain has been acknowledged as part of the post-COVID-19 condition. However, available fine-grained data about its clinical phenotype, trajectories and main associated characteristics remain scarce. We described the distinct temporal evolutions of post-COVID-19 pain and their epidemiological and phenotypical features. Methods: A prospective cross-sectional study enrolled post-COVID-19 condition patients (i.e. who had persisting COVID-19-related symptoms over 30 days since their first positive laboratory test), whose COVID-19 diagnosis had been supported by RT-PCR of oral/nasopharyngeal swab or serology. They underwent in-person evaluations with a structured interview, pain and quality-of-life-related questionnaires and thorough physical examination. Chronic pain (CP) and probable neuropathic pain (NP) were defined according to IASP criteria. Results: The present study included 226 individuals, 177 (78.3 %) of whom presented over 3 months since their first COVID-19 symptom. New-onset pain occurred in 170 (75.2 %) participants and was chronic in 116 (68.2 %). A chronic course was associated with COVID-19-related hospitalization, new-onset fatigue, lower cognitive performance, motor and thermal sensory deficits, mood and sleep impairments and overall lower quality-of-life levels. Probable NP occurred in only 7.6 % new-onset pain patients, and was associated with pain chronification, new-onset fatigue, motor and thermal sensory deficits, mechanical allodynia and lower rates of SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. Previous CP was reported by 86 (38.1 %) individuals and had aggravated after the infection in 66 (76.7 %) of them, which was associated with orthostatic hypotension. Conclusions: Post-COVID pain phenomena follow different paths, which are associated with specific clinical and epidemiological features, and possibly distinct underlying mechanisms, prognostic and therapeutic implications. Significance: COVID-19-related pain usually follows a chronic course and is non-neuropathic. Its possible courses and phenotypes are associated with distinct clinical and epidemiological features. This suggests differing underlying mechnisms, which may have significant prognostic and therapeutic implications.

RESUMEN Antecedentes: El dolor crónico de nueva aparición se considera que forma parte de la condición o afección post-COVID-19. Sin embargo, los datos detallados existentes sobre el fenotipo clínico, las trayectorias y las principales características asociadas siguen siendo escasos. Describimos las distintas evoluciones temporales del dolor post-COVID-19 y sus rasgos epidemiológicos y fenotípicos. Métodos: Estudio prospectivo y transversal de pacientes con afección post-COVID-19 (es decir, con síntomas persistentes relacionados con la COVID-19 durante 30 días desde la primera prueba positiva de laboratorio) cuyo diagnóstico de COVID-19 estuviera basado en la RT-PCR de un frotis oral/nasofaríngeo o una serología. Se sometieron a evaluaciones presenciales mediante una entrevista estructurada, cuestionarios de dolor y calidad de vida y una exploración física exhaustiva. El dolor crónico (DC) y el dolor neuropático (DN) probablemente se definieron conforme a los criterios IASP. Resultados: El presente estudio incluyó 226 individuos, 177 (78,3 %) de los cuales se presentaron pasados más de 3 meses desde el primer síntoma de COVID-19. Tenían dolor de nueva aparición 170 (75,2 %) de los participantes y dolor crónico 116 (68,2 %). El curso crónico se asociaba a hospitalización por COVID-19, fatiga de nueva aparición, menor rendimiento cognitivo, déficits motores y sensitivos térmicos, alteraciones del ánimo y el sueño, y niveles generalmente inferiores de calidad de vida. El DN probable afectaba a solo el 7,6 % de los pacientes con dolor de nueva aparición y se asociaba a cronificación del dolor, fatiga de nueva aparición, déficits motores y de sensación térmica, alodinia mecánica y tasas menores de vacunación frente al SARS-CoV-2. Referían DC previo 86 (38,1 %) individuos, y este había empeorado tras la infección en 66 (76,7 %) de ellos, lo que se asociaba a hipotensión ortostática. Conclusiones: Los fenómenos dolorosos post-COVID siguen diferentes trayectorias que se asocian a rasgos clínicos y epidemiológicos específicos, y posiblemente a distintos mecanismos de base y diferentes implicaciones pronósticas y terapéuticas. Significado: El dolor relacionado con la COVID-19 sigue normalmente un curso crónico y no es neuropático. Los posibles cursos y fenotipos se asocian a rasgos clínicos y epidemiológicos distintos. Esto sugiere que los mecanismos de base difieren, lo que podría tener implicaciones pronósticas y terapéuticas importantes.

Abstract This paper describes the automation of a forearm prosthesis using the signal collected by a Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensor. The FBG sensor is applied to one subject's forearm to measure the deformation as a result of the index and middle fingers when moved individually. It is possible to control a one joint model prosthesis allied to a compliant hand mechanism through signal analyses. Each finger movement has its features, such as its amplitude, which opens the possibility of using those to control different parts of the prosthesis, joint rotation by the middle finger, and compliant hand movement by the index finger. This paper presents results regarding prosthesis assembling, Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) communication latency between prosthesis and computer and tests with pre-acquired and processed FBG signal data. The prosthesis wrist rotation movement is related to the middle finger signal, and its compliant mechanism actuation is due to index finger signal. The communication between prosthesis and the computer had a mean latency of 140 ms and a standard deviation of 18 ms. The results demonstrate the potential for using the sensor system and automated prosthesis in other applications involving real-time forearm sensing, multi-finger signal analysis, and prosthetic movement.

Abstract The present study evaluated the promotion of natural/minimally processed foods (N/MPF) subgroups advertised in supermarket circulars by considering supermarket features and circular typology. We analyzed circulars published by five supermarket chains in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro (June/2019-May/2020) and present data on the socioeconomic coverage and profile of the supermarkets and the types of circulars. Of the 68,110 types of foods, 30.6% were N/MPF. Meat/eggs were the most promoted ones (42.3%), followed by fruits/vegetables (20.2%), which were more often advertised by produce shop circulars. Dairy products, cereals/flours/pasta and beverages/infusions made up around 10.0% of the ads. Legumes (3.8%), spices and mushrooms (0.2%) and oilseeds (0.1%) were rarely promoted. Statistically significant differences were found in the promotion of subgroups according to supermarket coverage and their socioeconomic profiles. Fruits/vegetables were more often advertised by national chains and aimed at a high-income public than by local companies and aimed at a low/middle-income public. Promotion of N/MPF subgroups was disproportional due to differences among chains and types of circulars. As a result, a discussion on the regulation of food promotion in food retail is required.

Resumo O estudo visa avaliar a promoção dos subgrupos de AIN/MP anunciados em encartes de supermercados, considerando as características das redes e a tipologia dos encartes. Foram analisados encartes de cinco redes de supermercados da região metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro (junho/2019-maio/2020). Foram apresentados dados de abrangência e perfil socioeconômico das redes e tipo de encarte. Dos 68.110 alimentos, 30,6% são AIN/MP. Carnes/ovos foram mais promovidos (42,3%), seguido de frutas/hortaliças (20,2%) anunciados mais em encartes de hortifruti. Laticínios; cereais/farinhas/massas e bebidas/infusões representaram cerca de 10,0% dos anúncios. Leguminosas (3,8%), especiarias e cogumelos (0,2%) e oleaginosas (0,1%) foram pouco promovidos. Foram encontradas diferenças estatisticamente significativas na promoção de subgrupos segundo abrangência e perfil socioeconômico das redes. Frutas/hortaliças foram mais anunciadas em redes nacionais e voltadas para o público de alta renda em comparação às locais e voltadas para um público de média/baixa renda. Constatou-se desequilíbrio na promoção dos subgrupos de AIN/MP, com diferenças entre as redes e os tipos de encartes. Diante disto, deve-se dar luz à discussão sobre a regulação da promoção de alimentos no varejo alimentar.

ABSTRACT Objectives: We aimed to evaluate the association between the triglyceride glucose index (TyG index) and sleep quality and to establish a cut-off value for the TyG index based on the prevalence of subjects with insulin resistance (IR). Materials and methods: This cross-sectional study involved Brazilian health professionals (20-59 years). A total of 138 subjects answered the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality questionnaire to evaluate sleep quality. They were categorized into two groups: good sleep quality (global score ≤ 5 points) and poor sleep quality (global score ≥ 6 points). Also, we classified the subjects as having a high (>8.08 or >4.38) or low TyG index (≤8.08 or ≤4.38). Results: The majority of the subjects (70%) with high TyG index values (>8.08 or >4.38) reported poor sleep quality (p ≤ 0.001). Those with poor sleep quality had a 1.44-fold higher prevalence of IR (TyG index >8.08 or >4.38) compared to those with good sleep quality, regardless of sex, total cholesterol, LDL/HDL ratio, insulin, complement C3, CRP, and adiponectin (p ≤ 0.001). Conclusion: Our data showed a positive and significant association between the TyG index and poor sleep quality. Thus, these findings support the association between poor sleep quality and IR.

Abstract This paper aims to present results of a research in which we evidence how teachers in continuing education (re)signify the way they teach based on the implementation of a mathematical modelling activity. Subsidized in the characterizations of mathematical modelling as content and as a vehicle, we focused on the practices developed by a group of ten teachers who teach Mathematics and who, in 2019, were taking a course in Mathematical Modelling in the context of a Professional Master’s Degree in Mathematics Teaching. The analysis of responses to a questionnaire and reports written by teachers describing the practice developed was inspired by the Grounded Theory. The analysis resulted in two categories that revealed the way teachers teach through mathematical modelling, leading to a (re)signification of their teaching practices: teaching practice different from the usual ones, which implied in the teacher’s role of guiding students through the activity development; and practice that strive for the engagement of students, in terms of the possibilities offered by the mathematical approach to extra-mathematical situations.

Resumo Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar resultados de uma pesquisa em que evidenciamos como professores em formação continuada (res)significam o modo como ensinam a partir da implementação de uma atividade de modelagem matemática. Subsidiados nas caracterizações de modelagem matemática como conteúdo e como veículo, debruçamo-nos nas práticas desenvolvidas por um grupo de dez professores que ensinam Matemática e que cursavam, em 2019, uma disciplina de Modelagem Matemática no contexto de um Mestrado Profissional em Ensino de Matemática. A análise das respostas a um questionário e dos relatórios escritos pelos professores descrevendo a prática desenvolvida foi inspirada na Teoria Fundamentada em Dados. A análise resultou em duas categorias que revelaram o modo como os professores ensinam por meio da modelagem matemática, conduzindo a uma (res)significação de suas práticas de ensino: prática docente diferente das habituais, que implicou o papel do professor de orientar e guiar os alunos na atividade; e prática que prima pelo envolvimento dos alunos, em termos das possibilidades oferecidas pela abordagem matemática de situações extramatemáticas.

Resumo Este artigo apresenta os mecanismos de elaboração do planejamento estratégico institucional do INCA em uma década e identifica aspectos subjetivos dos profissionais, mecanismos de gestão institucional e entraves gerenciais da Administração Pública como temas relevantes que impactam no processo. Além disso, problematiza o gerencialismo, a ênfase no estrito cumprimento de regras e a análise limitada de contexto nos serviços de saúde. O objetivo foi descrever a evolução do processo de planejamento e apresentar como a percepção de profissionais sobre cumprimento de normas gerenciais influencia na organização da gestão. Resulta de um estudo qualitativo, com o emprego de entrevista individual semiestruturada realizado em 2012 e de análise documental concluída em 2021. Resultados demonstram como aspectos intersubjetivos das relações de trabalho podem contribuir para afastar os trabalhadores da tomada de decisões estratégicas ou facilitar a participação e comprometimento para o aprimoramento da gestão de uma instituição. Conclui-se que a apropriação de gestores do debate de temas como conflito, motivação, liderança e subjetividade são fundamentais para o avanço e melhoria do processo de planejamento.

Abstract This article presents the mechanisms for elaborating INCA’s institutional strategic planning in a decade and identifies subjective aspects of professionals, institutional management mechanisms, and managerial obstacles of Public Administration as relevant issues that impact the process. It also problematizes the managerialism, the emphasis on strict compliance with rules and the limited analysis of context in health services. The objective was to describe the evolution of the planning process and to present how the perception of professionals about compliance with management standards influences the organization of management. It is the result of a qualitative study, using a semi-structured individual interview carried out in 2012 and document analysis completed in 2021. Results demonstrate how intersubjective aspects of work relationships can contribute to distance workers from strategic decision-making or facilitate participation and commitment to improve the management of an institution. It is concluded that managers’ appropriation of the debate on topics such as conflict, motivation, leadership, and subjectivity are fundamental for advancing and improving the planning process.

RESUMO: O uso contínuo de inseticidas sintéticos para o controle do mosquito vetor de arbovírus, Aedes aegypti, tem levado à seleção natural de populações resistentes a diferentes grupos químicos. Assim, compostos derivados de plantas surgiram como uma alternativa viável para o controle desses vetores. Desse modo, este estudo foi realizado para determinar se o extrato metanólico bruto (CME) das folhas de Clibadium surinamense possui atividade larvicida contra Ae. aegypti. Para isso, Larvas de terceiro e quarto instar de Ae. aegypti foram mantidas em recipientes contendo 99 mL de água e 1 mL de CME diluído em etanol nas concentrações de 250, 500, 750 e 1000 ppm. O grupo controle continha 99 mL de água e 1 mL de etanol. Três ensaios foram realizados em triplicata para cada grupo. Após 24 horas de observação, de acordo com a análise de variância de uma via,os valores de CL50 e CL90 foram de 283 e 430 ppm, respectivamente. Em conclusão, demonstramos pela primeira vez que o CME das folhas de C. surinamense apresenta atividade larvicida contra Ae. aegypti em condições de laboratório.

ABSTRACT: The continuous use of synthetic insecticides for controlling the arboviral vector Aedes aegypti has led to the natural selection of mosquito populations resistant to different chemical groups. Thus, plant-derived compounds have emerged as a viable alternative for vectorcontrol. This study determined whether the crude methanolic extract (CME) from leaves of Clibadium surinamense has larvicidal activity against Ae. aegypti. Third- and fourth-instar Ae. Aegyptilarvae were kept in recipients containing 99 mL of water and 1mL of ethanol-diluted CMEat concentrations of 250, 500, 750, and 1000 ppm. The control group contained 99 mL of water and 1 mL of ethanol. Three trials were performed in triplicate for each group.After 24 hours of treatment, the LC50 and LC90 values were determined to be 283 and 430 ppm, respectively, according to one-way analysis of variance. In conclusion, we have demonstrated for the first time that the CME from leaves of C. surinamense show larvicidal activity against Ae. aegypti under laboratory conditions.

Promotion of N/MPF subgroups was disproportional due to differences among chains and types of circulars. As a result, a discussion on the regulation of food promotion in food retail is required.

Resumo O estudo visa avaliar a promoção dos subgrupos de AIN/MP anunciados em encartes de supermercados, considerando as características das redes e a tipologia dos encartes. Foram analisados encartes de cinco redes de supermercados da região metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro (junho/2019-maio/2020). Foram apresentados dados de abrangência e perfil socioeconômico das redes e tipo de encarte. Dos 68.110 alimentos, 30,6% são AIN/MP. Carnes/ovos foram mais promovidos (42,3%), seguido de frutas/hortaliças (20,2%) anunciados mais em encartes de hortifruti. Laticínios; cereais/farinhas/massas e bebidas/infusões representaram cerca de 10,0% dos anúncios. Leguminosas (3,8%), especiarias e cogumelos (0,2%) e oleaginosas (0,1%) foram pouco promovidos. Foram encontradas diferenças estatisticamente significativas na promoção de subgrupos segundo abrangência e perfil socioeconômico das redes. Frutas/hortaliças foram mais anunciadas em redes nacionais e voltadas para o público de alta renda em comparação às locais e voltadas para um público de média/baixa renda. Constatou-se desequilíbrio na promoção dos subgrupos de AIN/MP, com diferenças entre as redes e os tipos de encartes. Diante disto, deve-se dar luz à discussão sobre a regulação da promoção de alimentos no varejo alimentar.

RESUMO: Aeromonas sp. são bactérias presentes naturalmente no ecossistema aquático e apresentam potencial patogênico, sendo considerados patógenos emergentes em humanos e animais. Ainda, causam perdas consideráveis em piscicultura e, através da água, podem também contaminar inúmeros alimentos. Diante disso o objetivo do trabalho foi quantificar e analisar o perfil de resistência aos antimicrobianos de bactérias do gênero Aeromonas sp. em peixes. Um total de 72 amostras foram adquiridas, sendo duas variedades de peixes (peixe de couro Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum x Leiarius marmoratus e os peixes redondos Colossoma macropomum x Piaractus mesopotamicus e Colossoma macropomum x Piaractus brachypomus), dois tipos (fresco e congelado) e de três estabelecimentos comerciais (supermercado, feira e peixaria). As 55 culturas isoladas de Aeromonas foram avaliadas quanto ao perfil de resistência aos antimicrobianos pelo método de difusão em disco. Os valores encontrados na quantificação de Aeromonas sp. variaram de 4,22 a 6,00 Log UFC/g, e foram identificadas dez espécies diferentes, sendo A. eucrenophila, A. hydrophila, A. caviae, A. media, A. jandaei, A. veronii bv. sobria, A. trota, A. schubertii, A. veronii bv. veronii e A. shigelloides. Entre os 55 isolados, 64,45% apresentaram resistência a Ampicilina-sulbactam, 75% foram sensíveis à gentamicina e ciprofloxacina. Concluiu-se que 100% das amostras avaliadas estavam contaminadas por Aeromonas sp. podendo apresentar risco à saúde do consumidor visto que estas podem ser agentes etiológicos de Doenças Transmitidas por Alimentos (DTAs). O perfil de resistência aos antimicrobianos comprovou a resistência a ampicilina e apresentou multirresistência a diferentes classes de antimicrobianos, demonstrando um problema relacionado à opção de antimicrobiano para tratamento no caso do desenvolvimento de alguma doença.

ABSTRACT: The bacteria Aeromonassp. are naturally reported in aquatic ecosystems and possess pathogenic potential, being considered as emerging pathogens in humans and animals. They also cause considerable losses in fish farming and, through water, can contaminate numerous foods. This study quantified and analyzed the antimicrobial resistance profile of Aeromonassp. in fish. A total of 72 samples of two fish varieties (leather fish, Pseudoplatystomafasciatumx Leiariusmarmoratusand round fish, Colossomamacropomumx Piaractusmesopotamicusand Colossomamacropomumx Piaractusbrachypomus) were purchased from two types of sources (fresh and frozen) and three commercial establishments (supermarket, market, and fishmonger). The 55 isolated Aeromonascultures were evaluated for their antimicrobial resistance profile by the disc diffusion method. Upon quantification, the count of Aeromonassp. ranged from 4.22 to 6.00 Log CFU/g; ten different species, including A. eucrenophila, A. hydrophila, A. caviae, A. media, A. jandaei, A. veroniibv. sobria, A. trota, A. schubertii, A. veroniibv. veronii, and A. shigelloides, were identified. Among the 55 isolates, 64.45% showed resistance to Ampicillin-sulbactam, and 75% were sensitive to gentamicin and ciprofloxacin. It was concluded that 100% of the evaluated samples were contaminated by Aeromonassp., which may present a risk to consumer health since bacteria can be etiological agents of Foodborne Diseases. The antimicrobial resistance profile showed resistance to ampicillin and multi-resistance to different classes of antimicrobials, demonstrating problems with choosing an antimicrobial for treatment of any disease.

Abstract A good preceptorship practice requires lifelong education. In this context, a course was developed for pharmacist preceptors aiming to promote the development of clinical skills. This study aims to describe the educational experience developed and the participants' perspective on it. This is a qualitative study, with data collection through participant observation, semi-structured interviews and document analysis. The transcribed data were submitted to thematic analysis. The planning of the educational activity, carried out based on a diagnosis with the pharmacists, resulted in satisfaction on the part of the pharmacists, who stressed the relevance of the topics addressed for their daily practice. The theoretical-practical course with case studies that aimed to develop initial clinical skills proved to be satisfactory from the perspective of the participants. Problems in the management of the local health system made it difficult to carry out the on-site support phase, initially planned. In addition, factors that influence the possibility of applying such competences in professional daily life were evidenced. The knowledge generated can be used to support other university-health service integration experiences for the lifelong education of pharmacists, taking advantage of the positive aspects and developing strategies to prevent the identified problems.

Resumo O bom exercício da preceptoria exige educação permanente dos profissionais de saúde. Nesse contexto, foi desenvolvido curso para preceptores farmacêuticos em um município do leste de Minas Gerais, visando promover o desenvolvimento de competências clínicas. O objetivo do estudo é descrever a experiência educacional desenvolvida e a perspectiva dos participantes sobre a mesma. Trata-se de estudo qualitativo, com coleta de dados por observação participante, entrevistas semiestruturadas e análise documental. Os dados transcritos foram submetidos a análise temática. O planejamento da atividade educacional, realizado a partir de diagnóstico com os farmacêuticos, resultou em satisfação por parte dos mesmos, que ressaltaram a relevância dos temas abordados para sua prática cotidiana. O curso teórico-prático com estudos de casos que objetivava desenvolver competências clínicas iniciais demonstrou-se satisfatório na perspectiva dos participantes. Problemas na gestão do sistema de saúde local dificultaram a realização da fase de apoio in loco, prevista inicialmente. Além disso, evidenciaram-se fatores que influenciam na possibilidade de aplicação de tais competências no cotidiano profissional. Os conhecimentos gerados podem ser subsidiar outras experiências de integração universidade-serviço de saúde para educação permanente de farmacêuticos, com aproveitamento dos aspectos positivos e desenvolvimento de estratégias de prevenção dos problemas identificados.

ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: Bishop-Koop ileostomy has been widely used in pediatric patients with the intention of including as much bowel as possible in the intestinal transit early in the management of children with meconium ileus and intestinal atresia. In recent years, we have been using it as an alternative to test the distal bowel function before closure of a previously constructed ostomy in selected children with questionable distal bowel motility. AIMS: The aim of this study was to present our experience with this alternative use of the Bishop-Koop ostomy. METHODS: This is a cross-sectional retrospective review of hospital records, combined with a comprehensive literature review. RESULTS: Seven children were included: five had suspected aganglionosis, one had gastroschisis complicated with ileal atresia, and one had a colonic stricture secondary to necrotizing enterocolitis. In this short series of patients, motility of the distal bowel was correctly assessed in six patients and partially correctly assessed in one patient. One patient did not pass stools per anus after the Bishop-Koop, and he was later confirmed to have Hirschsprung disease. Four patients resumed normal evacuation pattern after closure of the Bishop-Koop. One patient had a Bishop-Koop colostomy because of recurrent enterocolitis after a transanal pull-through. Although he evacuated normally while having the colostomy, the diarrhea recurred after the ostomy was closed. An additional patient, with a severe behavioral problem, did not evacuate per anus after her colostomy was transformed in a Bishop-Koop-type ostomy, despite the apparent presence of normal ganglia in the bowel wall. CONCLUSIONS: Data from the present series allow us to affirm that Bishop-Koop-type ostomy is a safe and efficient procedure that can be used to assess distal bowel function before a definitive transit reconstruction, in children with uncertain motility issues.

RESUMO RACIONAL: A ileostomia Bishop-Koop foi amplamente utilizada em pacientes pediátricos com a intenção de incluir o máximo de intestino possível no trânsito intestinal no manejo inicial de recém-nascidos com íleo meconial e atresia intestinal. Nos últimos anos, temos usado-a como alternativa para testar a função intestinal distal antes do fechamento de uma ostomia, em algumas crianças com motilidade intestinal distal questionável. OBJETIVOS: Apresentar nossa experiência com este uso alternativo da ostomia Bishop-Koop. MÉTODOS: Revisão retrospectiva dos registros hospitalares, combinada com uma revisão abrangente da literatura. RESULTADOS: Sete crianças foram incluídas: cinco tinham suspeita de aganglionose, uma tinha gastrosquise complicada com atresia ileal e uma tinha estenose de colon secundária à NEC. Nesta pequena série de pacientes, a motilidade do intestino distal foi corretamente avaliada em 6 pacientes e parcialmente avaliada em um. Um paciente não evacuou por ânus após o Bishop-Koop e mais tarde foi confirmado que ele tinha doença de Hirschsprung. Seis pacientes retomaram o padrão normal de evacuação após o fechamento do Bishop-Koop. Um paciente que fez uma colostomia Bishop-Koop por causa de enterocolite recorrente após um abaixamento transanal, recidivou a enterocolite após o fechamento definitivo. CONCLUSÕES: A ostomia tipo Bishop-Koop é um procedimento seguro e eficaz que pode ser utilizado para avaliar a função intestinal distal antes de uma reconstrução definitiva do trânsito em crianças com problemas de motilidade intestinal.
