Resumen El propósito del presente artículo es evaluar las tesinas en la carrera de Pedagogía en Educación Básica, en una muestra de universidades chilenas con distintos niveles de selectividad del alumnado en sus procesos de admisión. La evaluación se realizó siguiendo un conjunto de criterios definidos, con la técnica de juicio experto para calificar las tesinas. A partir de ello, se elaboró un instrumento cualitativo para evaluar los contenidos de una muestra de tesinas elaboradas entre los años 2012 y 2015. Se apeló al análisis de contenidos. Los resultados muestran que la selectividad de la carrera determina la mejor evaluación de las tesinas, especialmente en el caso de la universidad altamente selectiva y con menos claridad en las instituciones de selectividad media y baja. Los hallazgos evidencian la necesidad de incorporar en los planes de estudio asignaturas relacionadas con la formulación de proyectos, la metodología de la investigación y la escritura científica.

Abstract The purpose of this article is to evaluate the dissertations in the Basic Education Pedagogy program at a sample of Chilean universities with different levels of student selectivity in their admission processes. The evaluation was carried out following a set of defined criteria, using the expert judgment technique to grade the dissertations. Based on this, a qualitative instrument was developed to evaluate the contents of a sample of dissertations prepared between 2012 and 2015. Content analysis was used. The results show that the selectivity of the career determines the best evaluation of the dissertations, especially in the case of the highly selective university, and less clearly in the institutions of medium and low selectivity. The findings show the need to incorporate subjects related to project formulation, research methodology, and scientific writing into the curricula.

Resumen Introducción: Los países de ingresos bajos y medianos tienen problemas en el acceso y la provisión de atención quirúrgica, lo cual ocasiona un alto número de fallecimientos y de personas con discapacidad. Objetivo: Estimar la capacidad para la atención quirúrgica y de pacientes traumatizados en los hospitales públicos en la región de Piura, Perú, un país de ingreso mediano. Métodos: En los hospitales públicos de la región peruana de Piura se aplicó una encuesta que combinaba las versiones en español de las encuestas PIPES e INTACT y de la herramienta de análisis situacional de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS). Se evaluó la magnitud del evento mediante las diferencias absolutas entre las medianas de los puntajes calculados y pruebas bilaterales de Mann-Whitney según la ubicación geográfica y el nivel de complejidad hospitalaria. Resultados: Se evaluaron siete hospitales públicos que realizan cirugía en la región de Piura. Tres provincias (3/8) no contaban con instituciones sanitarias con complejidad de hospital. La mediana de los hospitales de las provincias periféricas tuvo tendencia a ser menor que la de la provincia capital en la INTACT (8,25 vs. 9,5, p = 0,04). Asimismo, se hallaron problemas de abastecimiento de agua (2/7), ausencia de incinerador (3/7), falta de funcionamiento permanente de tomógrafo (5/7) y problemas con el horario de funcionamiento de los bancos de sangre, ya que no funcionaban las 24 horas del día en 2 hospitales (2/7). Conclusiones: Se describe la alta desigualdad entre las provincias de la región en la capacidad de atención de trauma y varias carencias en la infraestructura sanitaria del sector público. Esta información es necesaria para desarrollar futura investigación de medición de capacidades en todos los establecimientos públicos y privados de la región peruana de Piura.

Abstract Introduction: Low and medium income countries face challenges in access and delivery of surgical care, resulting in a high number of deaths and disabled individuals. Objective: To estimate the capacity to provide surgical and trauma care in public hospitals in the Piura region, Perú, a middle income country. Methods: A survey was administered in public hospitals in the Peruvian region of Piura, which combined the Spanish versions of the PIPES and INTACT surveys, and the WHO situational analysis tool. The extent of the event was assessed based in the absolute differences between the medians of the scores estimated, and the Mann-Whitney bilateral tests, according to the geographical location and the level of hospital complexity. Results: Seven public hospitals that perform surgeries in the Piura region were assessed. Three provinces (3/8) did not have any complexity healthcare institutions. The average hospital in the peripheral provinces tended to be smaller than in the capital province in INTACT (8.25 vs. 9.5, p = 0.04). Additionally, water supply issues were identified (2/7), lack of incinerator (3/7), lack of uninterrupted availability of a CT-scanner (5/7) and problems with working hours; in other words, the blood banks in two hospitals were not open 24 hours. Conclusions: There is a significant inequality among the provinces in the region in terms of their trauma care capacities and several shortfalls in the public sector healthcare infrastructure. This information is required to conduct future research on capacity measurements in every public and private institution in the Peruvian region of Piura.

Abstract Background: The Sierra Madre Oriental is a Physiographic Province located in northeastern Mexico and has distinctive geological, climatic, and edaphic characteristics. The flora in this region has not been inventoried as a whole. Question: What is the floristic diversity of the Physiographic Province of the Sierra Madre Oriental? What is the geographic affinity of its genera? Site and years of study: The Physiographic province of the Sierra Madre Oriental. The work was conducted from August 2012 to December 2020. Methods: An exhaustive search for information was carried out using various sources such as herbaria, databases, floristic works, and monographs. To each species was registered the type of vegetation, geographic affinity and endemism. Results: A total of 6,981 species are registered; 1,542 are endemic to the Sierra Madre Oriental. The most diversity families were Asteraceae (1,000 species), Fabaceae (495), Cactaceae (365) and Poaceae (328). The temperate forests housed the greatest number of species (2,906). Querétaro was the richest state (2,803), followed by Coahuila with (2,710) and Nuevo León (2,406). The greatest number of genera of the species in the Sierra Madre Oriental have geographical boreal affinity (2,742), followed by species with tropical affinity (2,020), endemics to Mexico (1,227), with a cosmopolitan distribution (803), and from the deserts of the world (189). Conclusions: The Sierra Madre Oriental is home to more than a quarter of the vascular flora and 13 % of the endemic plants from Mexico. The area combines genera of different geographic affinities, mostly boreal, followed by tropical and endemic.

Resumen Antecedentes: La Sierra Madre Oriental es una Provincia Fisiográfica ubicada en el noreste de México con características geológicas, climáticas y edáficas distintivas. La flora de esta región aún no ha sido inventariada en conjunto. Preguntas: ¿Cuál es la diversidad florística de la Provincia Fisiográfica de la Sierra Madre Oriental? ¿Cuál es la afinidad geográfica de sus géneros? Sitio y años de estudio: Provincia Fisiográfica de la Sierra Madre Oriental. El trabajo se desarrolló desde agosto del 2012 a diciembre del 2020. Métodos: Se hizo una búsqueda exhaustiva de información en diversas fuentes como herbarios, bases de datos, trabajos florísticos y monografías. Para cada especie, se registró la vegetación, afinidad geográfica del género y endemismo. Resultados: Se registran 6,981 especies de las cuales 1,542 son endémicas. Las familias más ricas en especies son Asteraceae (1,000 especies), Fabaceae (495), Cactaceae (365) y Poaceae (328). Los bosques templados registran el mayor número de especies (2,906). Querétaro fue el estado con más especies (2,803), seguido de Coahuila (2,710) y Nuevo León (2,406). La Sierra Madre Oriental comprende una mayor cantidad de especies con géneros de afinidad geográfica boreal (2,742), seguidas por especies de afinidad tropical (2,020), especies endémicas de México (1,227), cosmopolitas (803) y de los desiertos del mundo (189). Conclusiones: La Sierra Madre Oriental alberga más de la cuarta parte de la flora vascular y un 13 % de las plantas endémicas del país. Es un área que reúne géneros de diferentes afinidades geográficas en su mayoría boreales, seguidos de tropicales y endémicos.

ABSTRACT Introduction: The musculoskeletal anatomical evaluation by imaging in the clinical examination of the diabetic foot is digital photography that assesses the superficial morphology. Objectives: To validate the obtaining of photographic images of the foot, to calculate the longitudinal and angular measurements and the index of the plantar arch, from the photographic images of the foot by photogrammetry, and to categorize the normality of the shape in healthy subjects, based on these photographic images. Methods: This an exploratory study in 30 healthy individuals evaluated at the Diabetic Foot Clinical Unit in Trujillo city, using a prototype of cameras around a podoscope and image analysis software. The photographic image was evaluated by longitudinal and angular measurements and the plantar arch index. Results: The patients evaluated had a mean age of 25.06+/-11.95 years, and women predominated. Total foot length and metatarsal width on the right side were 226.55 ± 36.49 mm and 98.99 ± 22.71 mm, respectively; and on the left side it was 229.81 ± 42.25 mm and 104.49 ± 16.84 mm, respectively. The 1st-2nd ray intermetatarsal angle, 4th-5th ray intermetatarsal angle and hindfoot angle for the right side were 14 ± 4º, 11 ± 3º and 2 ± 2º respectively; for the left side 14 ± 3º, 9 ± 3º and 2 ± 2º respectively, and the plantar index of the right and left arch were 0.23 ± 0.2 and 0.22 ± 0.1 respectively. Variability only occurred in the forefoot in 20% of cases. Conclusions: Obtaining of the photographic images of the foot was valid, measurements were smaller or similar to other studies. The variability of normality only appeared in the forefoot.

RESUMEN Introducción: La evaluación anatómica músculo esquelética por imagen en la exploración clínica del pie diabético es la fotografía digital que evalúa la morfología superficial. Objetivos: Validar la obtención de las imágenes fotográficas del pie, calcular las mediciones longitudinales, angulares y el índice del arco plantar, de las imágenes fotográficas del pie por fotogrametría, y basados en estas, categorizar la normalidad de la forma en sujetos sanos. Métodos: Estudio exploratorio en 30 individuos sanos evaluados en la Unidad clínica de pie diabético en la ciudad de Trujillo, mediante un prototipo de cámaras alrededor de un podoscopio y un software de análisis de imágenes. La imagen fotográfica fue evaluada por mediciones longitudinales, angulares y el índice del arco plantar. Resultados: Los pacientes evaluados tenían una edad media de 25,06+/-11,95 años, y predominaron las mujeres. La longitud total del pie y anchura del metatarso en el lado derecho fue de 226,55 ± 36,49 mm y 98,99 ± 22,71 mm respectivamente; y en el lado izquierdo fue de 229,81 ± 42,25 mm y 104,49 ± 16,84 mm respectivamente. El ángulo intermetatarsal del 1-2 rayo, ángulo intermetatarsal del 4-5 rayo y ángulo del retropié para el lado derecho fueron 14 ± 4º, 11 ± 3º y 2 ± 2º respectivamente; para el lado izquierdo 14 ± 3º, 9 ± 3º y 2 ± 2º respectivamente, y el índice plantar del arco derecho e izquierdo fueron 0,23 ± 0,2 y 0,22 ± 0,1 respectivamente. La variabilidad solo se presentó en el antepie en el 20 % de los casos. Conclusiones: La obtención de las imágenes fotográficas del pie fueron válidas, las mediciones fueron menores o similares a otros estudios. La variabilidad de la normalidad solo se presentó en el antepie.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Enterobiasis is one of the main intestinal infections worldwide. Objective: Determine the factors associated to Enterobius vermicularis infection in children from two native Ese’Eja communities in Madre de Dios, Peru. Methods: An analytical cross-sectional study was conducted in February-March 2014 of 77 children aged 1-11 years. Enterobiasis diagnosis was based on Graham's test. Clinical manifestations were evaluated by a physician, whereas associated factors were determined through a survey applied to the parents of the children studied. Use was made of descriptive and analytical statistical analysis, and crude and adjusted prevalence ratios with a CI of 95%. A p value of 0.05 was considered significant. Results: Enterobiasis prevalence was 32.47% (25). The associated factors (PR and CI 95%) in the bivariate analysis were onychophagia 2.1 (1.1-3.9), finger sucking 5.4 (2.1-2.7), long nails 7 (2.6-18.6), exchanging clothes 2.3 (1.1-3.7), changing underwear 3.3 (1.8-5.9), wearing shoes 7 (2.6-18.4), playing with earth 6.9 (1.7-27.3), playing with pets 6.4 (2.1-19.7), handwashing before eating 7.9 (3.6-17.1), handwashing after eating 1.9 (1.7-3.66), six or more people in the household 3.9 (1.9-7.9), feces disposal in open areas 3.3 (1.7-6.2) and a lower socioeconomic level 2.6 (1.3-5.4). Multivariate analysis did not find any association. Conclusions: Enterobiasis prevalence is high in the population studied, and the risk factors are similar to the local antecedents. It is urgent to develop health prevention and promotion programs about the topic to reduce this problem.

RESUMEN Introducción: La enterobiosis es una de las principales infecciones intestinales del mundo. Objetivo: Determinar los factores asociados a la infección por Enterobius vermicularis en niños de dos comunidades nativas Ese’Eja en Madre de Dios, Perú. Métodos: Estudio transversal analítico. Se trabajó con niños (77) de 1 a 11 años durante los meses de febrero a marzo de 2014. Para diagnosticar la enterobiosis se usó el test de Graham. Las manifestaciones clínicas fueron evaluadas por un médico y los factores asociados mediante una encuesta aplicada a los padres de los niños evaluados. Se usó estadística descriptiva y analítica, se utilizaron razones de prevalencia crudas y ajustadas con un IC 95 %, se consideró p< 0,05 como significativo. Resultados: La prevalencia de enterobiosis fue de 32,47 % (25). Los factores asociados (RP e IC 95 %) en el análisis bivariado fueron onicofagia 2,1 (1,1-3,9), chuparse los dedos 5,4 (2,1-2,7), uñas largas 7 (2,6-18,6), intercambio de ropa 2,3 (1,1-3,7), cambio de ropa interior 3,3 (1,8-5,9), uso de calzado 7 (2,6-18,4), juego con tierra 6,9 (1,7-27,3), juego con mascotas 6,4 (2,1-19,7), lavado de manos antes de comer 7,9 (3,6-17,1), lavado de manos después de comer 1,9 (1,7-3,66), 6 o más personas en la casa 3,9 (1,9-7,9), disposición de excretas a campo abierto 3,3 (1,7-6,2) y el menor nivel socioeconómico 2,6 (1,3-5,4). No hubo asociaciones en el análisis multivariado. Conclusiones: Existe una alta prevalencia de enterobiosis en la población estudiada y los factores de riesgo son similares a los antecedentes locales. Urge hacer programas de prevención y promoción de salud respecto al tema para reducir este problema.

Abstract: The purpose of the study was to analyze the design, validation and verification of compliance with the graduation profile in Teaching and Psychology programs at three Chilean universities with different levels of selectivity. It was concluded that the sample careers define their graduation profiles according to the demands of the labor market and graduates` employability. The careers of the highly selective university have systematic mechanisms to validate and ensure compliance with the graduation profile. In the case of the careers of the universities with medium and low selectivity, these mechanisms are weak.

Resumen: El propósito del estudio es analizar el diseño, validación y verificación del cumplimiento del perfil de egreso en las carreras de Pedagogía en Educación Básica y Psicología de tres universidades chilenas con distinto nivel de selectividad. Se concluyó que las carreras de la muestra definen sus perfiles de egreso en función de demandas del mercado laboral y la empleabilidad de los graduados. Las carreras de la universidad altamente selectiva poseen mecanismos sistemáticos para validar y asegurar el cumplimiento del perfil de egreso. En el caso de las carreras de las universidades con mediana y baja selectividad, estos mecanismos son débiles.

Resumen (analítico) El artículo busca comprender las percepciones que estudiantes, docentes y directivos tienen respecto de los aspectos que inciden en la retención de adolescentes atendidos en «escuelas de segunda oportunidad» en Santiago de Chile. La información proviene de 56 entrevistas semiestructuradas, aplicadas a tales actores en los Centros de Educación Integrada de Jóvenes y Adultos seleccionados. Las entrevistas fueron sometidas a un análisis narrativo etnográfico y, para su codificación, se utilizó el software Atlas.ti. Los actores identificaron como las condicionantes más importantes la contextualización en la exigencia académica y evaluativa, el acompañamiento afectivo a estudiantes y que la escuela sea acogedora. Finalmente, se vislumbra la necesidad de revisar los procesos de reinserción escolar para ungrupo no menor de niños y jóvenes que no se adaptan a condiciones «normales». Palabras clave: Chile, educación alternativa, educación compensatoria, joven sin escolaridad, retención, abandono escolar (Tesauro de Ciencias Sociales de la Unesco).

Abstract (analytical) The purpose of this article is to understand the perceptions that students, teachers and principals have regarding the aspects that affect the educational retention of adolescents who attend “second chance schools” in Santiago, Chile. The information collected for the study comes from 56 semi-structured interviews with students, teachers and principals in each of the selected Integrated Education Centers for Young People and Adults. The transcripts of the interviews were subject to an ethnographic narrative analysis and, for the codification and construction of categories the Atlas.ti software was used with all materials. The actors identified the most important determinants to promote educational retention and avoid students dropping out of school: the academic demands of students; affective accompaniment for students; and that the school is a welcoming. Place Finally, the authors identified the need to review the school reintegration processes for children and adolescents who do not adapt to “normal” conditions in the schools. Resumo (analítico) O objetivo do artigo é compreender as percepções que os alunos, professores e diretores têm sobre os aspectos que afetam a retenção de adolescentes atendidos em “escolas de segunda oportunidade” em Santiago, no Chile. A informação vem de 56 entrevistas semi-estruturadas, aplicadas a estudantes, professores e representantes da equipe de gestão em cada um dos Centros de Educação Integrada para Jovens e Adultos selecionados. As entrevistas foram submetidas a uma análise narrativa etnográfica e, para a codificação e construção de categorias, utilizou-se o software Atlas TI. Os atores identificaram como as condições mais importantes para incentivar a retenção e evitar o abandono precoce: a exigência acadêmica e avaliativa, o acompanhamento afetivo aos alunos e o acolhimento da escola. Finalmente, é necessário rever os processos de reinserção escolar para um grupo de crianças e jovens que não se adaptam às condições “normais”. Abstract: Analyzes the factors that influence the process of labor insertion among graduates who earned Psychology degrees from Chilean universities with various levels of selectiveness. Based on in-depth interviews, the paper reveals a context of saturation in the professional field, and finds that institutional prestige and quality of professional training are determining aspects in the labor insertion process. This situation primarily affects graduates of the less selective universities, who have encountered greater obstacles in finding work. This reinforces the hypothesis that it is not enough to introduce devices to improve equity in access to higher education; the quality of labor insertion must also be considered.

Resumen: Se analizan los factores intervinientes en el proceso de inserción laboral de titulados de la carrera de Psicología provenientes de universidades de Chile con distinto nivel de selectividad. A partir de entrevistas en profundidad se destaca un contexto de saturación del campo laboral, lo cual releva los factores de prestigio institucional y calidad de la formación profesional como aspectos determinantes en el proceso de inserción laboral. Esta situación afecta principalmente a los titulados de las universidades menos selectivas, quienes han encontrado mayores obstáculos para emplearse. Se refuerza la hipótesis de que no basta con introducir dispositivos para mejorar la equidad en el acceso a la educación superior, dado que también debe atenderse la calidad de la inserción laboral.

Abstract: The vegetative propagation of Acer negundo represents an option to preserve desired phenotypic characteristics and propagate it in short periods of time. In a completely randomized experimental design with three replications, in which the factors of interest evaluated were the cutting type (hard, soft), the rooting (with and without root starter) and fertilization (high = 150-60-120, low = 100-50-80), 480 cuttings were planted in polyethylene trays, with 54 cavities of 200 mL each; after four months its morphology was observed. The results indicate that the hard cuttings were superior in the diameter of the shoot (2.68 mm), the length of the shoot to the bud (71.85 mm) and the length to the tip of the leaves (214 mm). The root starter application produced higher shoot lengths to the bud (69.4 mm) and length to the tip of the leaves (214.3 mm), as well as leaf weights, fresh (3.78 g) and dry (0.72 g). The interaction root starter* fertilizer had effect on the variables lengths of the shoot to the bud and to the tip of the leaf. There was significance in the interaction of the three factors in the fresh root weight, with the highest (1.56 g) for hard cutting, high fertilization with root starter. The highest value of the Dickson index occurred in hard cuttings (3.12), in which the rooting and sprouts were favored by the possible higher carbohydrate content and the AIB (root starter).

Resumen: La propagación vegetativa de Acer negundo representa una opción para conservar características fenotípicas deseadas y propagarla en períodos cortos. En un diseño experimental completamente al azar con tres repeticiones, en el que los factores de interés evaluados fueron el tipo de estaca (dura, blanda), el enraizador (con y sin enraizador) y la fertilización (alta=150-60-120, baja=100-50-80), se plantaron 480 estacas en charolas de polietileno, con 54 cavidades de 200 mL; después de cuatro meses se observó su morfología. Los resultados indican que las estacas duras fueron superiores en el diámetro del cuello del brote (2.68 mm), la longitud del brote a la yema (71.85 mm) y la longitud hasta la punta de las hojas (214 mm). La aplicación de enraizador produjo mayores valores en longitud del brote a la yema (69.4 mm) y longitud hasta la punta de las hojas (214.3 mm), así como en los pesos de las hojas, fresco (3.78 g) y seco (0.72 g). La interacción enraizador*fertilizante tuvo efectos sobre las variables longitud del brote hasta la yema y hasta la punta de la hoja. Hubo significancia en la interacción de los tres factores en el peso fresco de raíz, con el mayor (1.56 g) para estaca dura, fertilización alta con enraizador. El valor más alto del índice de Dickson ocurrió en estacas duras (3.12), en las que se propició el enraizamiento y los brotes por el posible mayor contenido de carbohidratos y el AIB (enraizador).

Resumen El artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación cualitativa, la cual tuvo por objetivo establecer las valoraciones preliminares que otorgan los titulados de la carrera de Psicología, de universidades de distinto grado de selectividad, a los ámbitos de la formación académica recibida y su relación con la inserción laboral. El trabajo se inscribe en el marco de una necesaria evaluación del grado de equidad del sistema universitario chileno en relación con los resultados del proceso formativo. Desde una perspectiva cualitativa, y bajo el marco de un estudio de casos en profundidad, se recabaron las percepciones de los titulados mediante seis entrevistas en profundidad desarrolladas en el año 2015 con profesionales graduados entre los años 2011 y 2014. La muestra de personas entrevistadas, de carácter intencionado, se seleccionó combinando criterios de caso tipo, cuotas, cadena y voluntariedad. Los datos se analizaron con el apoyo del software Atlas Ti 8 a fin de identificar categorías y las relaciones entre ellas. La principal conclusión es que tanto la formación académica recibida como el proceso de inserción al mundo del trabajo es mejor valorado por los graduados de la universidad de alta selectividad, mientras que los profesionales egresados de las universidades de mediana y baja selectividad ponderan de manera más crítica dichos aspectos. Por su parte, cuanto más selectiva es la universidad, más se percibe un incremento en las oportunidades de las personas tituladas en el mundo laboral, situación que revela la presencia de aspectos no académicos que influyen en la inserción laboral. Lo anterior deriva en posibles situaciones de inequidad en los resultados de la formación universitaria en Psicología.

Abstract The article presents the results of a qualitative research that aimed to establish preliminary valuations granted by the graduates of the Psychology program from universities of different degrees of selectivity, to the fields of academic training received and their relationship with the insertion in the labor market. The work is part of a necessary evaluation of the degree of equity of the Chilean university system concerning to the results of the training process. From a qualitative perspective, and under the framework of an in-depth case study, graduates` perceptions were collected through six in-depth interviews conducted in 2015 with professionals graduated between 2011 and 2014. The sample of interviewees, of an intentional nature, was selected by combining criteria of type case, quotas, chain and voluntariness. The data was analyzed with the support of the Atlas Ti 8 software in order to identify categories and the relationships between them. The main conclusion is that both the academic training received and the process of insertion into the labor market is better valued by the graduates of the high selective university while the professionals graduated from the universities of medium and low selectivity weigh those aspects more critically. On the other hand, the more selective the university is, the higher the opportunities of the graduates in the labor world, a situation that reveals the presence of non-academic aspects that influence the labor insertion. This could be originating possible situations of inequity in the results of university training in Psychology programs.

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to analyze the educational expectations of young people who dropped out of traditional school and enrolled in institutions offering a “second chance”. The study, of a descriptive, qualitative nature, probes into student experiences based on ethnographic analysis. The findings reveal that students value a second opportunity in schooling because it allows them to acquire language and communications skills for their daily needs as they earn a certification to enter the labor market. Their expectations show the predominance of pragmatic rationality, associated with instrumental inclusion in the world of employment. A few accounts point to expectations related to the development of “soft” skills and social skills, such as those mentioned in the teaching documents.

Resumen: El propósito de este artículo es analizar las percepciones de jóvenes que abandonaron la escuela tradicional e ingresaron a instituciones de “segunda oportunidad” sobre sus expectativas de escolarización. El trabajo, de carácter descriptivo y cualitativo, indaga en las experiencias de los estudiantes a partir de un análisis etnográfico. Los resultados evidencian que ellos valoran la reescolarización porque les permite adquirir habilidades de lenguaje y comunicación para sus relaciones cotidianas y obtienen una certificación para ingresar al mercado laboral. Sus expectativas advierten del predominio de una racionalidad pragmática, asociada a la inclusión instrumental al mundo laboral. Pocos relatos advierten de expectativas vinculadas con el desarrollo de habilidades “blandas” y sociales, como las declaradas en el currículum ministerial.

Abstract The article analyzes the school process of migrant children, based on observed interrelations between students, to provide insights that could strengthen inclusion dynamics within the Chilean school system. Its thematic relevance derives from the social consequences of the social exclusion of minorities in the school context. Methodologically, it is a descriptive-correlational work, which explains existing interrelations between educational and social factors, to understand the school dynamics of migrant and local students. Through a mixed approach, the results show the complex network of social and school representations associated with migration and retention in the formal school system, as well as the diffculties of including migrant collectives in the daily dynamics of play and work in school spaces. These diffculties are related to the migrant student’s concentration in the classrooms, gender and the specifc migrant collective to which he or she belongs. The study also shows that schools do not have specifc policies that organize and structure what many try to do regarding the inclusion of immigrant students and collaborative interaction between the different actors in the classroom and schools.

Resumen El artículo analiza el proceso de escolarización de los niños migrantes, sobre la base de las interrelaciones observadas entre los estudiantes, con el objeto de proporcionar insumos que fortalezcan la dinámica inclusiva del sistema escolar chileno. Su relevancia temática radica en los efectos en la integración social, consecuencia de la exclusión social de las minorías en el contexto escolar. Metodológicamente, es un trabajo descriptivo-correlacional, que explica las interrelaciones existentes entre los factores educativos y sociales, que permite comprender la dinámica escolar de los estudiantes migrantes y locales. A través de un enfoque mixto, los resultados muestran la compleja red de representaciones sociales y escolares asociadas con la migración y la permanencia en el sistema escolar formal, así como las dificultades de inclusión de los colectivos migrantes en las dinámicas cotidianas de juego y trabajo en espacios escolares. Estas están relacionadas con la concentración de estudiantes migrantes en las aulas, su género y el colectivo específico al que pertenecen. El estudio también muestra que las instituciones escolares no tienen políticas específicas que organicen y estructuren lo que, muchas de ellas, intentan hacer en respuesta a la inclusión de la educación migratoria y a la interacción de colaboración entre los diferentes actores en el aula y las escuelas.

ABSTRACT The objective of the study was to evaluate the productive response of lactating calves fed with initiator with added Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast culture (YC). Ten male and six female calves, aged between five and 27 days, were randomly assigned to two treatments: T1) starter feed and T2) starter feed plus YC used in a completely randomized experimental design with eight replicates per treatment. They were under continuous grazing on Estrella (Cynodon plectostachyus) and Guinea (Megathyrzus maximum) grass pastures, plus starter on free access. From day 135 onwards, two kg of growth feed per calf were supplied. The variables evaluated were daily weight gain (DWG), live weight change (LWC), starter feed intake (SI) and feed conversion (FC). There were no differences in the variables evaluated (p> 0.05) in both treatments. The results indicate that the productive response in lactating calves is similar to that of calves including yeast culture in their diet.

RESUMEN El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar la respuesta productiva de becerros lactantes alimentados con iniciador al cual se le adicionó cultivo de levaduras de Saccharomyces cerevisiae (CLSC). Diez becerros machos y seis hembras, con edades entre 5 y 27 días, se distribuyeron de manera aleatoria en dos tratamientos, T1: alimento iniciador y T2: alimento iniciador más CLSC bajo un diseño experimental completamente al azar, con ocho repeticiones por tratamiento. Estuvieron en pastoreo continuo en praderas de pasto Estrella (Cynodon plectostachyus) y Guinea (Megathyrzus maximum), más iniciador a libre acceso. Del día 135 en adelante se ofrecieron 2 kg de alimento de crecimiento por becerro. Las variables evaluadas fueron ganancia diaria de peso (GDP), cambio de peso vivo (CPV), consumo de alimento iniciador (CI) y conversión alimenticia (CA). No hubo diferencias en las variables evaluadas (p > 0.05) entre tratamientos. Los resultados obtenidos indican que la respuesta productiva en becerros lactantes es similar al incluir cultivo de levaduras en la dieta.
