O objetivo do estudo é sistematizar as ações de alimentação e nutrição desenvolvidas na atenção primária à saúde (APS), de 1999 a 2019, identificando os avanços no período e perspectivas atuais. É uma pesquisa qualitativa realizada baseando-se na análise de documentos publicados entre 1999 e 2020, disponíveis em bases de dados científicos e na literatura cinza. Adicionalmente, realizou-se análise quantitativa valendo-se de sistemas de informação do Ministério da Saúde, como o Sistema de Vigilância Alimentar e Nutricional e o Sistema de Informação em Saúde para a Atenção Básica e dos microdados do Programa Nacional de Melhoria do Acesso e da Qualidade da Atenção Básica (PMAQ-AB). As ações e marcos normativos identificados foram categorizados em gestão, vigilância alimentar e nutricional, promoção da alimentação adequada e saudável, atenção nutricional - múltipla carga de má nutrição e formação. Os resultados revelam que as ações de alimentação e nutrição acompanharam o cenário epidemiológico, considerando-se a múltipla carga da má nutrição, estando a primeira década mais direcionada ao enfrentamento da fome, da desnutrição e carências de micronutrientes e; a partir de 2006, passou a dar ênfase à prevenção e cuidado de pessoas com obesidade e outras doenças crônicas não transmissíveis, além da promoção da alimentação adequada e saudável, desenvolvendo, durante todo o período, ações com forte caráter intersetorial e compreendendo o lócus da APS como campo prioritário de atuação no Sistema Único de Saúde. A universalização das ações de alimentação e nutrição na APS, contudo, é ainda um desafio atual.

This study aimed to systematize food and nutrition actions developed in primary health care (PHC) from 1999 to 2019, identifying advances in this period and current perspectives. The results showed food and nutrition actions followed the pace of the epidemiological scenario, considering the multiple burdens of poor nutrition. The first decade was more focused on handling issues involved in hunger, malnutrition and micronutrient deficiency and, in 2006, it started to emphasize prevention and care for people with obesity and other non-communicable chronic diseases and promote proper healthy food, developing actions in the period with a strong intersectoral character and understanding PHC as a priority field of action in the Brazilian Unified National Health System (SUS). The universalization of food and nutrition actions in PHC is still a current challenge.

Los resultados revelan que las acciones de alimentación y nutrición acompañaron el escenario epidemiológico, considerándose la múltiple carga de la mala nutrición, estando la primera década más dirigida al combate del hambre, desnutrición y carencias de micronutrientes y, a partir de 2006, pasó a dar énfasis a la prevención y cuidado de personas con obesidad y otras enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles, además de la promoción de la alimentación adecuada y saludable, desarrollando, durante todo el período, acciones con un fuerte carácter intersectorial y comprendiendo el locus de la APS como campo prioritario de actuación en el Sistema Único de Salud. La universalización de las acciones de alimentación y nutrición en la APS constituye un desafío todavía actual.

The benzophenones are synthetic and natural compounds presenting a variety of activities, including photoprotective, cytotoxic and antiviral. It is herein described the preparation of a series of twenty-seven benzophenone derivatives bearing 1,2,3-triazole functionalities and the evaluation of their photoprotective, cytotoxic and antiviral on Zika Virus (ZIKV) activities. The compounds were prepared in three steps, namely reduction of benzophenone, alkylation of diphenylmethanol and CuAAC reactions. The in vitro evaluation of the photoprotective activity revealed that the most active derivative 4-((benzhydryloxy)methyl)-1-(4-nitrobenzyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazole (4k) displayed UVB sun protection factor equal to 6,9±0,53, which make this compound a possible candidate to be used in formulations for photoprotective applications. In terms of cytotoxicity, the compounds were evaluated against MDA-MB-231 and B16F10 cell lines. It was observed that the compounds were more active against MDA-MB-231 cells and three of them were capable of reducing cell viability by approximately 55% at 100 µmol L-1. In the antiviral screening against ZIKV, compound 4-(3-benzhydryloxy)propyl)-1-(3-methylbenzyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazole (5j) was the most effective in mantaining Vero cell viability.

RESUMO Novas evidências sugerem que o cerebelo apresenta alterações estruturais e funcionais nos transtornos psiquiátricos. Objetivo: Medir o volume do cerebelo e de suas sub-regiões em indivíduos portadores de transtornos psiquiátricos e relacionar tais achados aos sintomas. Métodos: Foi realizada a identificação de pacientes com diferentes graus de prejuízo cognitivo proveniente de um estudo populacional (Epidemiologia do Idoso - UNIFESP), pacientes com transtorno do estresse pós-traumático proveniente de outro estudo populacional e portadores de transtorno bipolar proveniente de um ambulatório especializado (Universidade Federal da Bahia). Todos os sujeitos foram submetidos à ressonância magnética estrutural de 1.5T. As medidas de volume, assim como os sintomas medidos por escalas psicométricas foram comparadas entre pacientes e controles. Resultados: Foi observado que o volume do cerebelo está reduzido nos portadores de prejuízo cognitivo sem demência e com demência, no transtorno do estresse pós-traumático e no transtorno bipolar quando comparados aos controles. Na demência e no transtorno do estresse pós-traumático o volume do hemisfério cerebelar esquerdo e do vérmis estão reduzidos. No transtorno bipolar os volumes de ambos os hemisférios e do vérmis estão reduzidos. Nos dois primeiros estudos estas reduções correlacionaram com os sintomas. Conclusão: A natureza exata do envolvimento do cerebelo nos processos mentais ainda não é compreendida. Entretanto, anormalidades na estrutura cerebelar e em suas funções têm sido relatadas em algumas dessas doenças. Pesquisas futuras, com amostras maiores, ainda são necessárias para esclarecer tais achados e investigar se são importantes para o tratamento e prognóstico.

ABSTRACT. New evidence suggests that the cerebellum has structural and functional abnormalities in psychiatric disorders. Objective: In this research, the goal was to measure the volume of the cerebellum and its subregions in individuals with psychiatric disorders and to relate these findings to their symptoms. Methods: Patients with different degrees of cognitive impairment (Epidemiology of the Elderly - UNIFESP) and patients with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from population studies were analyzed. Also, patients with bipolar disorder from an outpatient clinic (Center for the Study of Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Universidade Federal da Bahia) were recruited for this study. All subjects underwent a 1.5T structural magnetic resonance scan. Volumetric measures and symptom measurements, by psychometric scales, were performed and compared between patients and controls. Results: The cerebellum volume was reduced in patients with cognitive impairment without dementia and with dementia, in patients with PTSD, and in patients with bipolar disorder compared to controls. In dementia and PTSD, the left cerebellar hemisphere and vermis volume were reduced. In bipolar disorder, volumes of both hemispheres and the vermis were reduced. In the first two studies, these cerebellar volumetric reductions correlated with symptoms of the disease. Conclusion: The exact nature of cerebellar involvement in mental processes is still not fully understood. However, abnormalities in cerebellar structure and its functions have been reported in some of these diseases. Future studies with larger samples are needed to clarify these findings and investigate whether they are important for treatment and prognosis.

OBJETIVO: Avaliar a efetividade de uma intervenção não farmacológica no manejo do ganho de peso para pacientes com transtornos mentais graves. MÉTODO: Foi realizado um estudo aberto multicêntrico longitudinal em 93 serviços de saúde. Pacientes preocupados com o peso foram incluídos e participaram de uma intervenção em grupo de uma hora de duração durante 12 semanas com foco em educação alimentar, atividade física e autoestima. Peso, circunferência da cintura e pressão arterial foram avaliados antes e após a intervenção. RESULTADOS: 1071 pacientes foram incluídos no estudo, 73,9% completaram a intervenção. Foram observados diminuição de peso e índice de massa corporal significativos (peso: diferença da média: 0,41, IC 95%: 0,18-0,64, p = 0,001; índice de massa corporal: diferença da média: 0,13, IC 95%: 0,04-0,22, p = 0,006). Após a intervenção, 37 (4,4%) pacientes perderam mais que 7% do peso inicial, 780 (92,5%) mantiveram o peso e 26 (3,1%) dos pacientes apresentaram ganho de peso acima de 7%. Houve aumento da proporção de pacientes que praticavam atividade física (70,8%, p < 0,001). CONCLUSÃO: Encontramos uma pequena redução de peso e cinturae aumento de atividade física, sugerindo uma tendência à melhora no perfil antropométrico. Ensaios clínicos controlados e randomizados são necessários para avaliar a eficácia e a relevância clínica dessa intervenção.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effectiveness of a non-pharmacological intervention for weight gain management in severe mental disorders. METHOD: An open, multicentre interventional study was conducted in 93 mental health services. Patients concerned with weight gain were included in this study and received a 12-week 1-hour group intervention focused on nutrition counseling, lifestyle, physical activity and self-esteem. Weight, waist circumference and blood pressure were measured before and after the intervention. RESULTS: 1,071 patients were enrolled in the study, and 73.9% completed the 12-week intervention. Significant weight loss (Mean difference: 0.41, CI 95%: 0.18 to 0.64, p = 0.001) and a significant BMI reduction (Mean difference: 0.13, CI 95%: 0.04 to 0.22, p = 0.006) were observed. During the intervention 37 (4.4%) patients lost > 7% of their initial weight, 780 (92.5%) maintained their weight, and 26 (3.1%) of the patients had a meaningful weight gain (> 7%). There was a significant increase in the proportion of patients undertaking physical activity after the intervention (70.8%, p < 0.001). CONCLUSION: In this 3-month open study we found a small weight and waist reduction, and increased physical activity practice, suggesting a trend towards anthropometric profile improvement. However, further randomized-controlled trials are necessary to evaluate the efficacy and clinical relevance of this psychosocial intervention for weight gain.

Foram comparadas com base na morfologia do pupário e na técnica de HMA (Heteroduplex Mobility Assay)) quatro espécies de Tephritoidea, três delas pertencentes ao gênero Anastrepha, A. obliqua (Macquart), A. sororcula Zucchi e A. serpentina (Wiedemann) e uma do gênero Ceratitis, C. capitata (Wiedemann). Os pupários foram caracterizados pela primeira vez com base na morfologia da placa espiracular posterior. A aplicação da técnica de HMA possibilitou a detecção de variabilidade no segmento D2 do gene 28S rRNA nas quatro espécies (confirmada por seqüenciamento). Esta é uma técnica rápida, simples, sensível e barata que é aplicada pela primeira vez na análise de dois gêneros de Tephritoidea. A variabilidade observada sugere grande potencial da técnica no caso da determinação da infestação por duas ou mais espécies num mesmo fruto hospedeiro.

Four species of Tephritoidea, three from genus Anastrepha: A. obliqua (Macquart), A. sororcula Zucchi and A. serpentina (Wiedemann), and one from genus Ceratitis, C. capitata (Wiedemann) were compared based on puparium morphology and application of the Heteroduplex Mobility Assay (HMA). Puparia were characterized for the first time using the spiracular posterior plate morphology. Application of HMA allowed the detection of variability in the D2 domain from 28S rRNA gene in all four species (confirmed by sequencing). This is a fast, simple, sensitive and inexpensive assay that was used for the first time in the analysis of two Tephritoidea genera. The detected variability suggests that the tecnique has great potential for rapid determination of infestations with two or more species in the same host fruit.

Este trabalho objetivou avaliar o efeito dos fatores sexo e faixas de peso ao abate (30-40, 40-50, 50-60kg) sobre o declínio de pH, pH final, cor, capacidade de retenção de água (CRA), perda de peso por cozimento (PPC) e força de cisalhamento (FC) da carne de capivara (Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris). As amostras do músculo longissimus dorsi (LD) foram obtidas de 28 capivaras (16 machos e 12 fêmeas), provenientes de um zoocriadouro. Não houve influência dos fatores sexo e faixas de peso ao abate sobre o pH as 2h (6,29), 5h (6,29), 8h (6,25) e 24h (6,01) post mortem; na cor (Sistema CIE LAB) para luminosidade (34,28), teor de vermelho (10,74) e teor de amarelo (1,74); CRA (0,47), PPC (32,27%) e FC (5,20kgf/g). Comparando com espécies domésticas, a carne de capivara apresentou pH final elevado; índice de luminosidade baixo e teor de vermelho elevado, assemelhando-se à carnes de bovinos e ovinos (carnes vermelhas); CRA e PPC dentro dos limites considerados normais; e, textura (FC) considerada macia.

The aim of this work was to evaluate the effects of the factors sex and different slaughter weight groups (30-40, 40-50, 50-60kg) in the pH decline, ultimate pH, colour, water holding capacity (WHC), cooking loss (CL) and shear force (SF) of capybara (Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris) meat. Samples were constituted of longissimus dorsi (LD) muscle of 28 capybaras (16 males and 12 females) from the same farm. There were no effect of the factors sex and slaughter weight groups on the pH values at 2h (6.29), 5h (6.29), 8h (6.25) and 24h (6.01) post mortem; on colour values (CIE LAB System) for brightness (34.28), redness (10.74) and yellowness (1.74); WHC (0.47), CL (32.27%) and SF (5.20kgf/g). Comparing to livestock species, capybara meat had a high ultimate pH value, low values of brightness and high values of redness, looking like bovine and ovine meats (red meats); WHC and CL inside limits considered normal; and SF considered soft.

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito de dois métodos de abate (MA) e do sexo sobre a qualidade de carne de capivaras. Os métodos de abate avaliados foram o humanitário (MH) e por tiro (MT), sendo utilizados 2 lotes de 10 animais, um deles contendo 5 machos e 5 fêmeas e outro com 8 machos e 2 fêmeas, nos quais foram avaliados os valores de pH na 1ª, 3ª, 5ª, 7ª, 9ª, 11ª e 24ª horas após o abate e a perda de peso por cozimento (PPC), a cor e a força de cisalhamento (FC), em porções do músculo longissimus dorsi, retiradas entre a 10ª e 12ª vértebras. Os resultados obtidos indicaram que as médias de pH não foram influenciadas pelo MA e pelo sexo. Os valores médios foram: 6,24; 6,05; 6,01; 6,01; 6,03; 6,04 e 5,96 às 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 e 24 horas, respectivamente. Em relação à cor, o MT apresentou valor de L* (32,40) superior (P<0,05) ao MH (29,59), não sendo observado o efeito de sexo sobre esse parâmetro. Nos demais parâmetros de cor e na PPC não foram observadas diferenças entre os lotes. A FC foi influenciada pelo MA, sendo observado maiores valores (P<0,05) para MT do que para MH com médias de 5,04 e 3,97kgf, respectivamente.

The aim of this study was to assess the effect of two slaughter methods (SM) and the gender on the quality of capybara meat. The slaughter methods assessed were the humanitarian (HM) and by head-shot (HS). Two lots of 10 animals were used, one of them containing 5 males and 5 females and the other containing 8 males and 2 females. Values of pH of the longissimus dorsi muscle (between the vertebras 10th and 12th) after 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 24h post mortem (p. m.), color (L, a e b), weight losses by cooking (WLC) and shear force (SF) were assessed on samples obtained at these points. The results indicated that pH means were not influenced by both SM and sex. The medium values were: 6.24; 6.05; 6.01; 6.01; 6.03; 6.04 and 5.96 at 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 24 hours respectively. That demonstrated that in those encourage the installation of the rigor mortis superficial with reduced extension glicolitic. Regarding the color, HS presented higher L* (32.40) values (P<0,05) than HM (29.59), and the effect of gender on this parameter was not observed. On the other color parameters and on WLC no differences among the lots were observed. SF was influenced by SM, with higher values found (P<0,05) for the HS than for the HM, 5.04 and 3.97kgf, respectively.

O objetivo desse trabalho foi avaliar os efeitos de métodos de abate (MA) (humanitário (MH) e por tiro (MT)) e sexo na composição centesimal, perfil de ácidos graxos (AG) e colesterol da carne de capivara (Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris L. 1766). Foram abatidos 20 animais (13 machos (M) e 7 fêmeas (F)) com peso médio de 45,71kg. No músculo longissimus dorsi (LD) foram determinados: umidade, lipídios totais (LT), proteína e cinzas e no semimembranosus (SM), o colesterol por colorimetria e o perfil de AG por cromatografia gasosa. O LD apresentou: 75,87% de umidade, 1,37% de LT, 22,11% de proteínas e 1,09% de cinzas. Houve diferença (p<0,01) nos teores de LT de M (1,75%) e F (0,98%). Os fatores sexo e MA não influenciaram: umidade, proteína e cinzas. Os AG encontrados em maior proporção (%) foram: C16:0 (29,57); C18:1w9 (27,87); C18:2w6 (19,19); C18:0 (6,57); C18:3w3 (4,97); C14:0 (3,64); C20:4w6 (3,45); C18:1w7 (3,31) e C16:1w7 (1,90). A relação AG poliinsaturados/saturados foi 0,82. As médias de AG w6 e w3 foram 23,41 e 5,63%. Os fatores sexo e MA não influenciaram os poliinsaturados e colesterol (28,11mg/100g). A carne de capivara apresentou teores elevados de proteína e valores reduzidos de lipídios totais e de colesterol e relação w6/w3 nutricionalmente adequada.

The objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of two slaughter methods: traditional (TS) and head-shot (HS) and sex on the proximate composition, fatty acids (FA) profile and cholesterol content of capybara meat. Twenty animals (13 males (M) and 7 females (F)), weighting about 45.71kg, were slaughtered. In longissimus dorsi (LD) muscle were determined: moisture, crude fat, protein and ash. In semimembranosus (SM) muscle, were determined: cholesterol content for colorimetric method and fatty acids (FA) profile for gas chromatography. The LD muscle had values of: 75.87% of moisture, 1.37% of crude fat, 22.11% of crude protein, 1.09% of ash. There were significant differences (p<0.01) between lipid contents of M (1.75%) and F (0.98%). The FA in major concentration (%) were: C16:0 (29.57); C18:1w9 (27.87); C18:2w6 (19.19); C18:0 (6.57); C18:3w3 (4.97); C14:0 (3.64); C20:4w6 (3.45); C18:1w7 (3.31) and C16:1w7 (1.90). Ratio value of poliunsaturated FA to saturated FA was 0.82. The average values of w6 FA and w3 FA were 23.41 and 5.63%, respectively. The factors sex and slaughter method had no effect on poliunsaturated FA percentages and cholesterol content (28.11mg/100g). Capybara meat presented low total lipid content and high crude protein values and FA w6/w3 ratio considered nutritionally adequated.
