Abstract The complex epidemiological profile of Brazil, the aging population and the proportion of individuals with disabilities have led to a substantial increase in the demand for rehabilitation. The spatiotemporal distribution of the offer of physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy in the Brazilian public healthcare system from 2007 to 2019 was analyzed for the five macro-regions of the country. Data from the National Register of Health Establishments and census estimates from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics were used. Indicators of the offer of professionals in these fields services and relative changes in the offer were calculated. The spatial distribution of the relative change in the offer was also determined. A regression model with inflection points was adopted for the analysis of the temporal trend. A growing temporal trend was found in the offer of the three professionals in Brazil as a whole and in all regions of the country, but with a slowdown in growth. Differences were observed in the offer among the regions of the country, revealing healthcare inequality that needs to be overcome. The present findings can assist in planning to expand access to rehabilitation services in the country.

RESUMO Objetivo Investigar a correlação entre a oferta de Fonoaudiólogos no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) e os indicadores sociais no Brasil, entre 2007 e 2016. Método Estudo ecológico, cujas unidades de análise foram as 27 Unidades Federativas (UFs) do país. Foram calculados os indicadores da oferta de Fonoaudiólogos no SUS e a evolução relativa desta oferta no período, bem como o Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano (IDH) e o Índice de Gini, ambos referentes ao ano de 2010. A correlação foi investigada utilizando o teste de Spearman, com α=5%. Resultados Em 2007, a oferta de Fonoaudiólogos no SUS foi de 3,55/105 habitantes, com o menor indicador no Amazonas e o maior no Mato Grosso do Sul. Em 2016, este indicador quase dobrou no país, com permanência do menor valor no Amazonas e o maior no Piauí. Ocorreu uma importante evolução relativa da oferta de Fonoaudiólogos no Brasil, neste período, com significativas variações entre as UFs. Houve correlação negativa entre a evolução relativa na última década e o IDH, e positiva com o Índice de Gini. Conclusão A evolução da oferta de Fonoaudiólogos no SUS foi maior nas unidades federativas com menor desenvolvimento humano e maior concentração de renda. Não obstante, os resultados referentes a 2016 mostraram a manutenção do status quo, com a maior oferta naquelas unidades federativas com maior desenvolvimento humano.

ABSTRACT Purpose Investigate the correlation between the provision of speech therapists in the Brazilian public healthcare system and social indicators between 2007 and 2016. Methods An ecological study was conducted. The units of analysis were the 27 federative units of Brazil. Indicators of the provision of speech therapists in public healthcare and the relative evolution of this provision in the period as well as the Human Development Index and Gini Index related to the year 2010 were analyzed. Correlations were investigated using Spearman’s test (α = 5%). Results In 2007, the provision of speech therapists in the public healthcare system was 3.55/105 residents, with the lowest indicator in the state of Amazonas and the highest in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. In 2016, this indicator nearly doubled in the country; the lowest indicator was again in the state of Amazonas and the highest was in the state of Piauí. An important relative evolution occurred in the provision of speech therapists in Brazil in the period analyzed, with significant variation among the federative units. A negative correlation was found between the relative evolution in the last decade and the Human Development Index and a positive correlation was found with the Gini Index. Conclusion The increase in the provision of speech therapists in the Brazilian public healthcare system was greater in federative units with lower human development and a greater concentration of income. Despite this, the results from 2016 showed the maintenance of the status quo, with a greater provision in federative units with greater human development.

Abstract Cenostigma pyramidale is a native legume of the Brazilian semiarid region which performs symbiotic association with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), being an excellent model for studying genes associated with tolerance against abiotic and biotic stresses. In RT-qPCR approach, the use of reference genes is mandatory to avoid incorrect interpretation of the relative expression. This study evaluated the stability of ten candidate reference genes (CRGs) from C. pyramidale root tissues under salt stress (three collection times) and associated with AMF (three different times of salinity). The de novo transcriptome was obtained via RNA-Seq sequencing. Three algorithms were used to calculate the stability of CRGs under different conditions: (i) global (Salt, Salt+AMF, AMF and Control, and collection times), (ii) only non-inoculated plants, and (iii) AMF (only inoculated plants). HAG2, SAC1, aRP3 were the most stable CRGs for global and AMF assays, whereas HAG2, SAC1, RHS1 were the best for salt stress assay. This CRGs were used to validate the relative expression of two up-regulated transcripts in Salt2h (RAP2-3 and PIN8). Our study provides the first set of reference genes for C. pyramidale under salinity and AMF, supporting future researches on gene expression with this species.

Resumo: O presente texto analisa como a campanha de Jair Bolsonaro na TV, no segundo turno da eleição presidencial de 2018, mobilizou a luta anticorrupção como estratégia de adesão eleitoral. Investigamos a hipótese de que o tema assume centralidade na campanha, impulsionado pelo impacto da Operação Lava Jato no sistema político e da sua estratégia de conquista da opinião pública. Para tanto, apresentamos, de um lado, as principais linhas de atuação da operação e, de outro, como suas narrativas foram retratadas no Horário Gratuito de Propaganda Eleitoral (HGPE) do candidato eleito. Na análise dos operadores da Lava Jato, constatamos que a eleição de 2018 é vista como o próximo passo para a efetivação do seu projeto de renovação e limpeza da política. Argumentamos que houve a coordenação estratégica na luta anticorrupção, na busca de uma convergência entre as accountabilities horizontal, societal e vertical. No tratamento dos dados do HGPE, identificamos quatro eixos discursivos e a predominância do eixo Anticorrupção/Antissistema, com aproximadamente 57,2% das menções. Nossa análise aponta que Bolsonaro aproveitou as marcas discursivas que se alinhavam fortemente à Lava Jato: antipetismo e antissistema, apresentando-se como o representante genuíno da luta anticorrupção.

Abstract: This text analyzes how Jair Bolsonaro's TV campaign, in the second round of the 2018 presidential election, mobilized the fight against corruption as a strategy for electoral adhesion. We investigated the hypothesis that the theme is central to the campaign, driven by the impact of the Lava Jato (Carwash operation) on the political system and its strategy of winning over public opinion. To do so, we present, on the one hand, the main lines of the Operation, and on the other, how their narratives were portrayed in the electoral programs broadcast by Bolsonaro's campaign in the second round. In the analysis of Lava Jato operators, we found that the 2018 election is seen as the next step for the realization of its project for renewing and cleaning up the political system. We argue that there was strategic coordination in the fight against corruption, in the search for a convergence between horizontal, societal and vertical accountabilities. In the treatment of HGPE data, we identified four discursive axes and the predominance of the Anticorruption / Anti-system axis, with approximately 57.2% of the mentions. Our analysis shows that Bolsonaro took advantage of the discursive brands that strongly aligned with Lava Jato: antipetism, anti-system and the candidate's association with the fight anti-corruption, presenting himself as his genuine representative.

Resumen: Este texto analiza cómo la campaña televisiva de Jair Bolsonaro, en la segunda vuelta de las elecciones presidenciales de 2018, movilizó la lucha anticorrupción como estrategia para la adhesión electoral. Investigamos la hipótesis de que el tema ocupa un lugar central en la campaña, impulsado por el impacto de la operación Lava Jato en el sistema político y su estrategia de conquistar la opinión pública. Para hacerlo, presentamos, por un lado, las principales líneas de acción de la Operación, y por otro, cómo se retrataron sus narraciones en el Tiempo Libre de Propaganda Electoral – HGPE, del candidato elegido. En el análisis de los operadores de Lava Jato, descubrimos que las elecciones de 2018 son vistas como el siguiente paso para la realización de su proyecto de renovación y limpieza de la política. Argumentamos que hubo una coordinación estratégica en la lucha contra la corrupción, en la búsqueda de una convergencia entre las responsabilidades horizontales, sociales y verticales. En el tratamiento de los datos de HGPE, identificamos cuatro ejes discursivos y el predominio del eje Anticorrupción/Anti-sistema, con aproximadamente 57.2% de las menciones. Nuestro análisis muestra que Bolsonaro aprovechó las marcas discursivas que estaban fuertemente alineadas con Lava Jato: antipetismo y antisistema, presentándose como el representante genuino de la lucha contra la corrupción.

Resumo A literatura de política comparada considera que as oposições são um elemento fundamental da democracia. Porém, em suas análises, a governabilidade costuma ser privilegiada em detrimento das oposições parlamentares. Em função disso, não se desenvolveu uma tradição de pesquisas sobre o tema, e nem sequer dispomos de uma definição conceitual amplamente aceita que permita o seu estudo de maneira mais sistemática. Nossa proposta é contribuir para reduzir esse hiato teórico e metodológico, chamando a atenção para a necessidade de investigações sobre esse problema. Para tanto, procuramos atingir dois objetivos: apresentar uma definição conceitual mais delimitada de oposição parlamentar e identificar suas principais funções no processo de governo.

Abstract According to the political sciences comparative literature, political opposition is a crucial component of democracy. Nonetheless, comparative analysis is detrimental to parliamentary oppositions in favor of governability. Because of that, we do not have a research tradition regarding parliamentary oppositions, and therefore lack a conceptual definition to clarify systematic comparative analysis on this matter. We intend to contribute in filling this theoretical and methodological gap. For that, we first propose a more specific conceptual definition of parliamentary opposition, and afterwards determine its six main functions that interfere in the process of government. We have thus found a need to comprehensively study parliamentary opposition in the literature.

RESUMO Objetivo Verificar o acesso à reabilitação fonoaudiológica e a continuidade do cuidado pela Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS) em vítimas de acidente de motocicleta. Método Trata-se de estudo realizado em um hospital de grande porte localizado em Recife-Pernambuco, recrutado entre o período de junho e julho de 2014. Após a alta hospitalar todos foram contatados para investigação do processo de reabilitação fonoaudiológica. Para o estudo na Atenção Primária à Saúde, foram utilizadas medidas de frequência absoluta e relativa. Já os casos em reabilitação foram descritos através de quadros. Resultados Foi verificado que 99 indivíduos foram vítimas de acidentes por motocicletas no período estudado. Desses, 30 entrevistados referiram ter essas queixas de alteração no sistema estomatognático, dos quais 8 estavam em reabilitação e 18 referiram residir em área adstrita a Unidade de Saúde da Família. Os principais obstáculos para o acesso à fonoterapia apontados foram a distância aos serviços de Fonoaudiologia e o tempo de espera para início do tratamento. Um dos aspectos relacionados à continuidade do cuidado pela Atenção Primária à Saúde, como a busca e obtenção de insumos, foi visto como frequente. Ao contrário da visita domiciliar, menos frequente. Conclusão Foram identificados obstáculos que dificultaram o acesso à fonoterapia, assim como fragilidades nos cuidados dispensados pela Atenção Primária, como a visita domiciliar, contribuindo para a fragmentação do cuidado contínuo e integral às vítimas.

ABSTRACT Purpose To verify the access to speech-language pathology (SLP) therapy and continuity of assistance in Primary Health Care (PHC) for victims of motorcycle accidents. Methods A quantitative and qualitative study was conducted at a large hospital in the city of Recife, Pernanbuco state, Brazil. Among the 99 victims recruited between June and July 2014, 30 had SLP complaints as a result of the accidents. After hospital discharge, all victims were contacted for investigation of the SLP rehabilitation process. Absolute and relative frequencies were used for the analysis in PHC, and data were displayed in tables for the therapy cases. Results Among the 30 individuals who reported having alterations of the stomatognathic system, eight were undergoing rehabilitation and 18 reported residing in an area covered by the Family Health Strategy (primary care modality). Seeking and obtaining continuity of treatment (medication and bandaging) in primary care were frequent; in contrast, home visits were less frequent. The main obstacles to access SLP therapy were distance to the service and waiting time to begin treatment. Conclusion This study identified obstacles that hamper access to SLP therapy in PHC, such as the low frequency of home visits, contributing to the fragmentation of continuous and complete care for victims.

RESUMO Objetivo: realizar uma revisão integrativa sobre os efeitos das ações fonoaudiológicas em grupo voltadas à saúde vocal do professor, além de identificar, avaliar e discutir as abordagens terapêuticas, os instrumentos de avaliação, duração das ações e número de encontros, e efetividade destas, a partir de artigos publicados entre os anos de 2007 e 2017. Métodos: a pesquisa foi realizada a partir dos descritores “voz”, “docentes”, “terapia de grupo” e “treinamento da voz” e seus correspondentes na língua inglesa, nas bases de dados: LILACS, SciELO e PubMed. Resultados: a busca resultou em 1.944 artigos. Após as etapas de seleção, 9 estudos atenderam os critérios de inclusão e exclusão estabelecidos. Conclusão: as ações fonoaudiológicas em grupo para a saúde vocal do professor geram efeitos na qualidade de vida relacionadas à voz, reduzindo os sintomas vocais e emocionais causados pela multifatoriedade presente no contexto de trabalho. A abordagem terapêutica mais utilizada foi a eclética, bem como houve variações da duração das ações e número de encontros entre os estudos. Dentre os instrumentos de avaliação, a autoavaliação vocal e análise perceptivo-auditiva foram as que mais se destacaram. Além disso, a maioria dos estudos consideraram os resultados de suas ações efetivas.

ABSTRACT Objective: to conduct an integrative literature review on the effect of group speech-language pathology actions related to teachers’ vocal health, and to identify, evaluate and discuss therapeutic approaches, assessment instruments, duration of actions, number of meetings, and their effectiveness, from articles published between 2007 and 2017. Methods: this research was conducted using the “voice”, “faculty”, “psychotherapy group” and “voice training” descriptors, and their corresponding descriptors in Portuguese, using the databases: LILACS, SciELO and PubMed. Results: the search resulted in 1,944 papers. After the selection, 9 studies fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Conclusion: the group speech-language pathology actions related to teachers’ vocal health have an effect on the voice-related quality of life, reducing the vocal and emotional symptoms caused by work-related factors. The eclectic therapeutic approach was the most used one, and there were variations in the duration of actions and number of meetings among the studies. In terms of assessment instruments, the self-assessment of voice and the auditory-perceptual analysis were the most highlighted ones. Furthermore, most studies considered the results of their actions as effective.

RESUMO Objetivo Verificar fatores associados às alterações fonoaudiológicas em vítimas de acidentes motociclísticos. Método Trata-se de um estudo de corte transversal. Foram estudadas vítimas de acidentes motociclísticos assistidas no Hospital da Restauração entre junho e julho de 2014. Os dados foram coletados através da consulta dos prontuários e entrevistas direta com esses acidentados, no momento da internação e após a alta hospitalar. Para análise, foram estudadas as frequências simples, média e teste Quiquadrado de Pearson ou o teste Exato de Fisher. A margem de erro utilizada nas decisões dos testes estatísticos foi de 5% e os intervalos de confiança foram obtidos com confiabilidade de 95%. Resultados Foram estudados 99 indivíduos, sendo 90,9% do gênero masculino, com idade média de 32,7 anos. Constatou-se um alto percentual de condutores alcoolizados (42,3%) e não habilitados (51,5%). Os traumatismos cranianos estavam presentes em 30,3% dos casos. As áreas corporais mais afetadas foram os membros inferiores (71,7%), seguidos da região da cabeça e face (56,6%). Depois da alta hospitalar, 30,3% referiram queixa de alterações fonoaudiológicas e essas mostraram uma associação estatisticamente significativa com não habilitados (p=0,012) e colisões entre motos (p=0,004). Conclusão Verificou-se alto percentual de lesões em região de cabeça e face decorrentes dos acidentes, associadas principalmente à não habilitação para conduzir moto e colisões entre motocicletas, sugerindo que tais fatores podem agravar as lesões fonoaudiológicas.

ABSTRACT Purpose To investigate factors associated with speech-language disorders in victims of motorcycle accidents. Methods This is a cross-sectional study. Victims of motorcycle accidents studied were treated at Hospital da Restauração between June and July 2014. The data were collected by consulting the records and direct interviews with these, at admission and after discharge. For analysis were raised single frequencies, average and chi-square test or Fisher's exact test. The margin of error used in the statistical tests was 5%, and the intervals were obtained with 95% reliability. Results 99 individuals were studied, 90.9% male, the mean age of 32.7 years. It found a high percentage of 42.3% of drunk drivers and 51.5% were not enabled. The Head Injuries were present in 30.3% of cases. The most affected body area were the lower limbs (71.7%), followed by the head and face region (56.6%). It was also found that 30.3% had complaints of speech pathology after hospital discharge and a statistically significant association between speech therapy complaint and not enabled (p=0.012) and collisions between bikes (p=0.004). Conclusion There was a high percentage of lesions in the head and face resulting from accidents, associated mainly not eligible to drive bike and collisions between motorcycles, suggesting that these factors can aggravate injuries speech therapy
