ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to determine the applicability of near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) for the nutritional assessment of two important forage species in the country: alfalfa(Medicago sativa L) and red clover (Trifolium pratense L). For this, 75 samples of alfalfa varieties (SW 8210, WL 625HQ) and 75 of red clover varieties (Quiñequeli, Kendland) obtained from the paddocks of the IVITA El Mantaro Experimental Station, Junín region, Peru were used. Proximal analysis was performed determining the content of crude protein (CP), ether extract (EE), crude fibre (CF), total ash (TA) and neutral detergent fibre (NDF), and the spectrum was captured using NIRS equipment. The calibration and validation models were developed to estimate the predictive capacity using Partial Least Squares (PLS), and the accuracy and precision statistics used were the Correlation Coefficient (R), Determination Coefficient (R2), Root Mean Square Error of Calibration (RMSEC), Root Mean Square of Prediction Error (RMSEP), Ratio of Range to Error (RER) and Residual Predictive Deviation (RPD). The mathematical models obtained showed that the NIRS technique has a good predictive capacity for the nutritional components of CP, TA and NDF (R2: 0.97, 0.99, 0.94; RPD: 2.00, 2.17 and 2.00, respectively) for varieties of alfalfa and red clover.

RESUMEN El objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar la aplicabilidad de la espectroscopía del infrarrojo cercano (NIRS) para la valoración nutritiva de dos especies forrajeras de importancia en el país: alfalfa (Medicago sativa L) y trébol rojo (Trifolium pratense L). Se utilizaron 75 muestras de variedades de alfalfa (SW 8210, WL 625HQ) y 75 de variedades de trébol rojo (Quiñequeli, Kendland) obtenidas de los campos de la Estación Experimental IVITA El Mantaro, región Junín, Perú. Se realizó el análisis proximal determinando el contenido de proteína cruda (PC), extracto etéreo (EE), fibra cruda (FC), cenizas totales (CZ) y fibra detergente neutra (FDN) y se hizo la captura del espectro mediante un equipo NIRS. Se elaboraron los modelos de calibración y validación para estimar la capacidad predictiva mediante Cuadrados Mínimos Parciales (PLS), siendo los estadísticos de exactitud y precisión usados el Coeficiente de Correlación (R), Coeficiente de Determinación (R2), Raíz Cuadrada Media del Error de Calibración (RMSEC), Raíz Cuadrada Media del Error de Predicción (RMSEP), Proporción del Rango con el Error (RER) y Desviación Residual Predictiva (RPD). Los modelos matemáticos obtenidos muestran que la técnica NIRS posee una capacidad de predicción buena de los componentes nutricionales de PC, CZ y FDN (R2:0.97, 0.99, 0.94; RPD: 2.00, 2.17 y 2.00, respectivamente) para variedades de alfalfa y trébol rojo.

RESUMO: O objetivo do estudo foi avaliar o efeito da suplementação na dieta de cobaias com inulina, em níveis crescentes (0,1%, 0,2%, 0,4%) como substituto para um antibiótico promotor de crescimento (AGP, bacitracina de zinco) além do grupo controle (dieta padrão). Foram utilizados 50 porquinhos-da-índia machos com 14 dias de idade. Os parâmetros produtivos foram avaliados do desmame aos 70 dias de idade e os parâmetros morfológicos intestinais foram avaliados no duodeno, jejuno e íleo no momento do abate. Foi encontrado um efeito linear do nível de inulina sobre na taxa de conversão alimentar (FCR; P = 0,006), indicando que em níveis mais elevados de inulina o FCR diminui. Não houve diferença significativa entre os grupos quando avaliado o efeito dos diferentes tratamentos sobre o consumo de ração e ganho de peso corporal (P > 0,05). Um efeito linear do nível de inulina foi encontrado no comprimento das vilosidades (VL), na largura das vilosidades (VW) e na relação comprimento / profundidade (VL/DC) no duodeno, sobre a VW no jejuno; e no VL no íleo (P < 0,05). Em conclusão, um efeito linear do aumento do nível de inulina foi encontrado na taxa de conversão alimentar e nos parâmetros morfológicos da integridade do duodeno, além disso, não houve diferença entre a adição de inulina na dieta e o tratamento com um antibiótico promotor de crescimento.

ABSTRACT: This study evaluated the effect of the three inulin levels (0.1%, 0.2%, 0.4%) supplemented as a substitute for an antibiotic growth promoter (AGP, zinc bacitracin) and control in guinea pigs raised for human consumption. Fifty 14-day-old male guinea pigs were used. Productive parameters (weight gain, total dry matter intake, and feed conversion ratio (FCR)) and intestinal morphology of the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum at slaughter (70 days of age) were evaluated. An inverse relationship was observed between inulin levels and FCR (linear effect; P = 0.006). There was no statistically significant effect of the treatments on total dry matter intake and weight gain (P > 0.05). A linear effect of the inulin level on the villi’s length (VL), villi’s width (VW), and length/depth ratio (VL/DC) in the duodenum; VW in the jejunum; and VL in the ileum (P <0 .05) was reported. In conclusion, a linear effect of the increasing doses of inulin was found on the FCR and the morphological parameters of the duodenum’s integrity, and no differences in the effects of the inulin added to the diet and the treatment with AGP were found.

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of increasing levels of probiotic as zinc-bacitracin substitutes in the productive performance and intestinal morphology of fattening guinea pigs. Fifty weaned male guinea pigs were randomly distributed into five treatments consisting of supplementation with 0, 1, 2 and 3 ml of the probiotic "Guinea Pig Biomodulator" and an additional treatment with zinc-bacitracin. Body weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion during 70 days of growth, and intestinal morphology variables: villus length and width, Lieberkühn crypt depth, and villus length/crypt depth ratio were evaluated in the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum. Increasing probiotic levels linearly improved (p=0.008) feed conversion rate but had no effect on the other productivity components. In the intestine, only the length/depth relationship in the ileum was positively affected (p=0.026) by the probiotic. It is concluded that there is no consistent effect of the probiotic on weight gain or on the intestinal morphology of fattening guinea pigs.

RESUMEN El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar el efecto de niveles crecientes de probiótico como sustitutos de zinc-bacitracina en el comportamiento productivo y la morfología intestinal de cuyes de engorde. Cincuenta cuyes machos destetados fueron distribuidos al azar en cinco tratamientos consistentes en la suplementación con 0, 1, 2 y 3 ml de probiótico "Biomodulador de cuyes" y un tratamiento adicional con zinc-bacitracina. Se evaluó la ganancia de peso, el consumo de alimento y la conversión alimenticia durante 70 días de crecimiento, y las variables de morfología intestinal: longitud y ancho de vellosidades, profundidad de la cripta de Lieberkühn y la relación longitud de vellosidades/profundi- dad de criptas en el duodeno, yeyuno e íleon. Los niveles crecientes del probiótico redujeron linealmente (p=0.008) el índice de conversión alimenticia, pero no tuvieron efecto en los otros componentes de la productividad. En el intestino, solo la relación longitud/profundidad en el íleon fue afectada (p=0.026) positivamente por el probiótico. Se concluye que no existe un efecto consistente del probiótico en la ganancia de peso ni en la morfología intestinal de cuyes de engorde.

The effect of Salmonella Typhimurium was determined on the productive parameters of guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus). Forty recently weaned male guinea pigs fed with a base diet were used. The animals were distributed in four treatments with 10 repetitions each were used. T1: saline solution (control); T2: saline + AGP (antibiotic growth promoter antibiotic); T3: challenge with Salmonella Typhimurium; T4: challenge with Salmonella Typhimurium + AGP. Dosing with saline or with an infective dose of Salmonella Typhimurium (2 x 106 CFU) was made on day 11 of the study. Bodyweight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion, carcass yield and economic gain were evaluated. Samples were taken from organs and meat after the slaughtering for the microbiological analysis. Animals challenged with Salmonella (T3 and T4) showed lower bodyweight gain, higher feed intake and poorer feed conversion compared to guinea pigs of T1 and T2 (p<0.05). The carcass yield was similar in the four treatments, while the economic gain in guinea pigs of T3 and T4 was affected by 28-30%. Salmonella was isolated from two lung samples and one spleen sample in animals from T1, while the pathogen could be isolated in more than 50% of the samples in animals of T3 and T4. Only four samples with Salmonella in the meat were detected (T3). It is concluded that the productive parameters and the economic retribution in guinea pigs are negatively affected by subclinical infection with Salmonella Typhimurium.

Con el objetivo de determinar el efecto de la Salmonella Typhimurium sobre los parámetros productivos de cuyes (Cavia porcellus) se utilizaron 40 cuyes machos recién destetados, alimentados con una dieta base. Los cuyes fueron distribuidos en cuatro tratamientos con 10 repeticiones cada uno. T1: solución salina (control); T2: solución salina + APC (antibiótico promotor de crecimiento); T3: desafío con Salmonella Typhimurium; T4: desafío con Salmonella Typhimurium + APC. La dosificación con solución salina o con una dosis infectiva de Salmonella Typhimurium (2 x 106 UFC) se hizo en el día 11 del estudio. Se evaluó la ganancia de peso, consumo de alimento, conversión alimenticia, rendimiento de carcasa y la retribución económica. Se tomaron muestras al beneficio de órganos y de la carne para el estudio microbiológico. Los animales desafiados con Salmonella (T3 y T4) mostraron una menor ganancia de peso, mayor consumo de alimento y pobre índice de conversión alimenticia en comparación con los cuyes de T1 y T2 (p<0.05). El rendimiento de carcasa fue similar entre los cuatro tratamientos, mientras que la retribución económica en los cuyes de T3 y T4 fue afectada entre un 28 y 30%. Se aisló Salmonella de dos muestras de pulmón y una de bazo en cuyes del T1, mientras que más del 50% de las muestras en cuyes de T3 y T4 se pudo aislar el patógeno. Solo se detectaron cuatro muestras con presencia de Salmonella en la carne (T3). Se concluye que los parámetros productivos y la retribución económica en cuyes se afectan negativamente por la infección subclínica con Salmonella Typhimurium.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of dietary supplementation with sodium butyrate (BS) on productive performance in fattening guinea pigs. Fifty 14-21 days old weaned male guinea pigs were randomly distributed in five treatments (0, 100, 200, 300 ppm of BS, 200 ppm of Zn-Bacitracin). Body weight gain, feed consumption and feed conversion were evaluated 70 days after supplementation. No response patterns were detected due to BS or Zn-Bacitracin treatments. It is concluded that, under the experimental conditions, supplementation with BS did not improve the productive parameters evaluated.

El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar el efecto de la suplementación de butirato de sodio (BS) en la dieta sobre el comportamiento productivo de cuyes de engorde. Cincuenta cuyes machos destetados, de 14 a 21 días de edad, fueron distribuidos al azar en cinco tratamientos (0, 100, 200, 300 ppm de BS, 200 ppm de Zn-Bacitracina). Se deter- minó la ganancia de peso, el consumo de alimento y la conversión alimenticia a los 70 días de la suplementación. No se detectaron patrones de respuesta por efecto del BS ni de Zn- Bacitracina. Se concluye que, bajo las condiciones experimentales, la suplementación con BS no mejoró los parámetros productivos evaluados.

The present study evaluated the effect of the inclusion of probiotic, prebiotic and the combination of both (symbiotic) in the diet on the productive parameters of guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus). Fifty 3-day-old male guinea pigs were selected from a Prolific-Dairy maternal line developed in the IVITA-El Mantaro Research Station (Peru) and randomly distributed in five treatments consisting of a basal diet of forages (rye-grass and red clover). supplemented with wheat bran (T5), plus probiotic (T1), prebiotic (T2), symbiotic (T3) and antibiotic growth-promoter (AGP) (T4). The probiotic was a mixture of six bacterial species isolated from the intestine and guinea pig faeces; the prebiotic was a commercial mannanoligosaccharide and the APC was Zn-bacitracin. The response to treatments was evaluated for 56 days in terms of body weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion ratio. No significant or consistent responses were observed as effect of the treatments. The lack of response to AGP and the good body weight gains obtained suggested that, under the conditions of the study, the intestinal microbial balance of the animals was appropriate.

El presente estudio evaluó el efecto de la inclusión de probiótico, prebiótico y la combinación de ambos (simbiótico) en la dieta sobre los parámetros productivos del cuy (Cavia porcellus). Se seleccionaron 50 cuyes machos de 3 días de edad de una línea materna Prolífica-Lechera desarrollada en la Estación IVITA-El Mantaro (Perú) y fueron distribuidos aleatoriamente en cinco tratamientos consistentes en una dieta basal de forrajes (rye-grass y trébol rojo) complementada con afrechillo de trigo (T5), más probiótico (T1), prebiótico (T2), simbiótico (T3) y antibiótico promotor del crecimiento (APC) (T4). El probiótico fue un consorcio de seis especies bacterianas aisladas del intestino y heces de cuy; el prebiótico fue un mananoligosacárido comercial y el APC fue Zn-bacitracina. La respuesta a los tratamientos fue evaluada por 56 días en términos de ganancia de peso, consumo de alimento y conversión alimenticia. No se observaron respuestas significativas ni consistentes por efecto de los tratamientos. La falta de respuesta al APC y las buenas ganancias de peso obtenidas sugieren que, bajo las condiciones del estudio, el balance microbiano intestinal de los animales era apropiado.

The present study evaluated the effect of supplementation with increasing levels of a liquid probiotic on the histomorphometry of the small intestine in guinea pigs. Fifty male guinea pigs were used from 3 days of age, distributed in a completely randomized design of five treatments with 10 repetitions each: 0, 1, 2 or 3 ml of probiotic or an antibiotic growth promoter (AGP, Zn-Bacitracin). Samples of duodenum, jejunum and ileum were taken from each animal at 84 days of age and the length and width of the intestinal villi, the depth of the Lieberkühn crypts and the length/depth relationship were measured. There were no consistent response patterns for most of the measurements in the three segments, except for a linear response (p=0.047) of the length/depth ratio in the duodenumanda positiveeffect (p=0.008)oftheAGPoverthe lengthofvilliinthe ileum. It is concluded that, under the conditions of the study, the levels of the probiotic did not cause an increase in the villus dimensions and if they did, the effect was masked by an accelerated rate of cell extrusion in the villi.

El presente estudio evaluó el efecto de la suplementación con niveles crecientes de un probiótico líquido sobre la histomorfometría del intestino delgado en cuyes. Se utilizaron 50 cuyes machos a partir de los tres días de edad, distribuidos en un diseño completamente al azar de cinco tratamientos con diez repeticiones cada uno: 0, 1, 2 o 3 ml de probiótico o un antibiótico promotor del crecimiento (APC, Zn-Bacitracina). Se tomaron muestras de duodeno, yeyuno e íleon de cada animal a los 84 días de edad y se midió la longitud y ancho de las vellosidades intestinales, la profundidad de las criptas de Lieberkühn y la relación longitud/profundidad. No se evidenciaron patrones consistentes de respuesta para la mayoría de las mediciones en los tres segmentos, excepto una respuesta lineal (p=0.047) de la relación longitud/profundidad en el duodeno y un efecto positivo (p=0.008)del APC sobre la longitud de vellosidades en el íleon. Se concluye que, bajo las condiciones del estudio, los niveles del probiótico no provocaron un incremento en las dimensiones de las vellosidades y que, si lo hicieron, el efecto quedó enmascarado por una acelerada tasa de extrusión celular en las vellosidades.

The aim of this study was to generate calibration equations to predict the nutritional chemical composition of the Italian rye grass (RG) (Lolium multiflorum Lam) by near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). A total of 75 samples of RG of different harvesting weeks were collected from the IVITA Research Center in Huancayo (Peru). Spectrum capture was performed using NIRS and the chemical analysis was done for reference of the following components: crude protein (CP), ether extract (EE), total ash (CZ), crude fibre (CF) and neutral detergent fibre (NDF). A calibration and validation model by partial least squares (PLS) was developed and the correlation coefficient (R), coefficient of determination (R2), root mean square error of calibration (RMSEC), root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP), ratio range with error (RER) and residual predictive deviation (RPD) were used as statistics of accuracy and precision. Proximate analysis means were: PC = 19.02%, EE = 4.53%, CZ = 12.79%, FC = 16.50% and NDF 60.98%. High values of R2 and low values of RMSEC and RMSEP were obtained for PC (0.96, 1.02, 1.19), EE (0.94, 0.29, 1.05), CZ (0.90, 0.57, 0.92) and NDF (0.90, 1.01, 1.25, respectively). The largest RER (22.34) and RPD (4.90) were obtained for EE. It is concluded that the calibration and validation equations obtained by NIRS enable optimal quantitative prediction of PC, EE, CZ and NDF in Italian rye grass (Lolium multiflorum Lam)

El objetivo del presente estudio fue generar ecuaciones de calibración que permitan predecir la composición químico nutricional de la especie forrajera rye grass italiano (RG) (Lolium multiflorum Lam) mediante la técnica de Espectroscopía de Reflectancia en Infrarrojo Cercano (NIRS). Se colectaron 75 muestras de RG de diferentes semanas de corte provenientes de los campos experimentales del Centro de Investigacion IVITA-El Mantaro (Huancayo, Perú), a las cuales se les realizó la captura del espectro mediante equipo NIRS y se hizo el análisis químico de referencia para los componentes proteína cruda (PC), extracto etéreo (EE), cenizas totales (CZ), fibra cruda (FC) y fibra detergente neutro (FDN). Se desarrolló un modelo de calibración y validación mediante mínimos cuadrados parciales (PLS) y como estadísticos de exactitud y precisión se utilizaron el coeficiente de correlación (R), coeficiente de determinación (R2), raíz cuadrada media del error de calibración (RMSEC), raíz cuadrada media del error de predicción (RMSEP), proporción del rango con el error (RER) y desviación residual predictiva (RPD). El análisis proximal promedio fue para PC=19.02%, EE=4.53%, CZ=12.79%, FC=16.50% y FDN=60.98%. Altos valores de R2 y bajos RMSEC y RMSEP fueron obtenidos para PC (0.96, 1.02, 1.19), EE (0.94, 0.29, 1.05), CZ (0.90, 0.57, 0.92) y FDN (0.90, 1.01, 1.25, respectivamente). El mayor RER (22.34) y RPD (4.90) se obtuvo para EE. Se concluye que las ecuaciones de calibración y validación NIRS obtenidas permiten una óptima predicción cuantitativa de PC, EE, CZ y FDN en rye grass italiano (Lolium multiflorum Lam)

The aim of the study was to determine the productive parameters of guinea pigs raised with diets supplemented with fish oil and sacha inchi seeds. Forty eight male guinea pigs of 42 days old were used, with an initial body weight of 615 g. The guinea pigs were randomly assigned to 4 treatments with 3 repetitions (rearing pools) of 4 animals each. Dietary treatments were: T0: Control, T1: diet supplemented with 1.0% fish oil; T2: diet supplemented with 4.0% sacha inchi seed; and T3: diet supplemented with 1.0% fish oil + 4.0% sacha inchi seed. The experimental phase lasted 28 days. Body weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion and carcass yield were evaluated. The average of individual body weight gain ranged between 315 and 353 g per treatment, consumption ranged between 1172 and 1224 g dry matter, feed conversion ranged between 3.53 and 3.73 and carcass yield varied between 69.4 and 71.7% without statistical differences between treatments.

El objetivo del estudio fue determinar los parámetros productivos de cuyes con el uso de dietas suplementadas con aceite de pescado y semilla de sacha inchi. Se utilizaron 48 cuyes machos de 42 días de edad, con un peso inicial de 615 g. Los cuyes fueron asignados al azar a 4 tratamientos con 3 repeticiones (pozas) de 4 cuyes cada una. Los tratamientos dietéticos fueron: T0: Control, T1: Dieta suplementada con 1.0% de aceite de pescado; T2: Dieta suplementada con 4.0% de semilla de sacha inchi; y T3: Dieta suplementada con 1.0% de aceite de pescado + 4.0% de semilla de sacha inchi. La fase experimental tuvo una duración de 28 días. Se evaluó la ganancia de peso, consumo de alimento, conversión alimenticia y rendimiento de carcasa. El promedio de ganancia de peso individual en las 4 semanas varió entre 315 y 353 g por tratamiento, el consumo varió entre 1172 y 1224 g de materia seca, la conversión alimenticia varió entre 3.53 y 3.73 y el rendimiento de carcasa varió entre 69.4 y 71.7%, sin diferencia estadística entre tratamientos.

Variations in serum potassium (K+) and electrocardiographic changes at different infusion speeds of intravenous K+ were studied in dogs. Solutions of 20, 40, 60 and 80 mEq of K+ were infused in one hour to dogs with normal renal function and normal serum K+. Nine dogs were studied: three without prior hydration and six with previous hydration. Infusing 20 mEq / hour of K+ produced an increase in heart rate without changes in the electrocardiogram. With 40 mEq / hour there were changes in the "t" and "p" waves, and with 60 and 80 mEq / hour, alterations consistent with cardiac ischemia and ventricular tachycardia. Dogs without hydration had more obvious and fatal electrocardiographic changes. Doses of 20 mEq / hour of K + caused no morbidity or mortality in the animals studied. Higher doses showed various complications which depended on the hydration status of the animal, its urinary flow and potassium level

Se estudiaron las variaciones del potasio sérico (K+) y las alteraciones electrocardiográficas al infundir diferentes velocidades de K+ endovenoso en perros. Se infundió soluciones de 20, 40, 60 y 80 mEq de K+ en una hora a perros con función renal y K+ sérico normal. Se estudiaron 9 perros: tres sin hidratación previa y seis con hidratación previa. Al infundir 20 mEq/hora de K+ los animales presentaron incremento de la frecuencia cardiaca sin alteraciones del electrocardiograma. Con 40 mEq/hora hubo alteraciones en las ondas "t" y "p", y con 60 y 80 mEq/hora, alteraciones compatibles con isquemia cardiaca y taquicardia ventricular. Los perros sin hidratación tuvieron alteraciones electrocardiográficas más notorias y fatales. Dosis de 20 mEq/hora de K+, no causaron morbilidad ni mortalidad en los animales estudiados. Dosis mayores mostraron complicaciones variables que dependieron del estado de hidratación del animal, su flujo urinario y su nivel de potasio

The efficacy of benzalkonium chloride for the treatment of dermatomicosis caused by Trichophyton sp. in guinea pig (Cavia cobayo) was evaluated in 200 guinea pigs of two months old, that showed typical clinical signs of dermatomicosis. Hair samples and skin grudges were taken for direct exam and for in vitro culture in Dermatophytes Test Medium and Mycobiotic. Skin biopsies for pathobiology were prepared. The guinea pig were divided in groups A and B of 100 animals each. Group A was treated with 0.1% aqueous benzalkonium chloride solution, whereas group B was treated with water as placebo. All samples were positive to media culture by 3rd to 7th day and Trichophyton mentagrophytes was isolated. Sixty percent of the samples were positive to direct exam. Histological study showed mild hyperkeratosis. Healing of lesions and hair growth were observed in all treated guinea pigs by the end of 4th week. The study showed that a single application of 0.1% aqueous benzalkonium chloride solution was effective for topical treatment on guinea pig dermatomycosis.

Se evaluó la eficacia del cloruro de benzalconio en el tratamiento de la dermatomicosis causada por Trichophyton sp. en el cuy (Cavia cobayo). Se utilizó 200 cuyes de 2 meses de edad que presentaban signos clínicos de dermatomicosis. Los cuyes fueron divididos al azar en dos grupos (A y B) similares. Al grupo A se le aplicó una solución acuosa de cloruro de benzalconio al 0.1% como único tratamiento y en el grupo B se empleó agua como placebo. Previo al tratamiento, se tomaron muestras de pelos y escamas de piel para examen directo y cultivo en los medios Dermatophytes Test Medium (DTM) y Mycobiotic, así como biopsias de piel para estudio histológico. Todas las muestras resultaron positivas a hongos entre el 3º y 7º día, tipificándose la especie Trichophyton mentagrophytes con la ayuda de microcultivos y lectura en agar urea. El 60% de las muestras fueron positivas al examen directo. El estudio histológico mostró hiperqueratosis ligera. El 100% de los cuyes del grupo A mostró curación clínica con crecimiento de pelo al finalizar la 4a semana post-tratamiento. Se concluye que una sola aplicación de cloruro de benzalconio al 0.1% en solución es eficaz para el tratamiento topical de la dermatomicosis causada por Trichophyton mentagrophytes; lográndose una eficacia del 70% en la tercera semana post-tratamiento, sin que cause daño a la piel y sin ser afectada por la presencia de materia orgánica.
