Resumo O artigo introduz algumas reflexões sobre os efeitos das interações cotidianas no ambiente cibernético, intensificadas durante a pandemia. Um deles é que a mediação constante da tecnologia na geração e arquivo de nossas memórias esteja diluindo as demarcações fixas entre seres humanos e máquinas. Propomos então um percurso especulativo através de teorias recentes, no campo da estética e da antropologia, que procuram dar conta dessas hibridizações, repensando radicalmente os dualismos centrais para o nosso pensamento (natureza e cultura, humano e não humano, masculino e feminino, o eu e o outro). Ao longo do artigo, serão abordados objetos díspares, como as perspectivas parciais da filósofa Donna Haraway e as armadilhas poéticas de Jaider Esbell, artista, ativista e escritor.

Abstract The article introduces some reflections on the effects of everyday interactions in cyberspace and its intensification during the pandemic. One of them is that the constant mediation of technology in the generation and archiving of our memories is diluting fixed demarcations between human beings and the machines. We then propose a speculative path through recent theories in aesthetics and anthropology, seeking to account for these hybridizations, radically rethinking the dualisms central to our thinking (nature and culture, human and non-human, masculine and feminine, the self and the other). Throughout the article, disparate objects will be addressed, such as the partial perspectives of philosopher Donna Haraway, and the poetical traps created by Jaider Esbell, artist, activist, and writer.

Resumen El artículo introduce especulaciones acerca de los efectos de las interacciones cotidianas en el entorno cibernético, intensificadas en la pandemia. Uno de ellos es que la mediación constante de la tecnología en la generación y el archivamiento de nuestras memorias estea diluyendo las fronteras fijas entre seres humanos y máquinas. Proponemos entonces un recorrido especulativo por teorías recientes, en la estética y antropología, que buscan contemplar esas hibridaciones y replantear radicalmente los dualismos centrales a nuestro pensamiento (naturaleza y cultura, humano y no humano, masculino y feminino, yo y el otro). A lo largo del artículo, se abordarán objetos dispares, como las perspectivas parciales de la filósofa Donna Haraway y las trampas poéticas de Jaider Esbell, artista, activista y escritor.

O artigo propõe uma panorâmica sobre a dialética entre o mimético e construtivo na constituição da obra de arte, a partir de Teoria Estética , de Theodor Adorno. Essa elaboração servirá para fundamentar a leitura do artigo “Transparencies on Film”, no qual o autor discute as especificidades do filme e as possibilidades de resistência à indústria cultural que ele oferece enquanto obra de arte. Um ponto central nesse debate é a alegação de imediatismo e verossimilhança do fotográfico, que, a princípio, impediria as possibilidades construtivas da obra, aspecto fundamental para a arquitetura conceitual da estética de Adorno.

The article proposes an overview of the dialectics between the mimetic and the constructive in Theodor Adorno’s Aesthetic Theory. This elaboration will be used to present the article “Transparencies on Film”, in which the author discusses the specificities of this medium and the possibilities of resistance that it presents as a work of art in the Cultural Industry. One of the central aspects in this debate is the claim of immediacy and verisimilitude of the photographic, which, at first, would inhibit the constructive possibilities of the work, a fundamental issue for the conceptual architecture of the Adornian Aesthetic.

Proponemos una visada acerca de la dialéctica entre el mimético y el constructivo en la obra de arte a partir de la Teoría Estética , de Theodor Adorno. El análisis servirá para fundamentar la lectura de “Transparencies on Film”, em el cual el autor discute las especificidades del filme y las posibilidades de resistencia que son oferecidas en su calidad de obra de arte. Uno de los puntos centrales del debate es la alegación de inmediatismo y verosimilitud del fotográfico, que impediría las posibilidades constructivas de la obra, aspeto fundamental para la estética de Adorno.

RESUMO Pesquisa exploratória documental de abordagem qualitativa cujo objetivo foi compreender como está se constituindo a formação do estudante de Odontologia em relação ao cuidado em saúde, a partir de uma atividade de ensino interdisciplinar ocorrida no segundo ano da formação do cirurgião-dentista. Foi realizado um levantamento retrospectivo do material produzido pelos estudantes do terceiro semestre do curso de Odontologia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, no Seminário de Integração IV, de 2006 a 2013. O corpus de análise foi formado por relatos de acompanhamento de pacientes e narrativas. Foram analisados 95 relatos de casos de pacientes e 67 narrativas pelo método da análise temática de conteúdo de Bardin. A análise do material resultou em 17 unidades de significação/categorias emergentes. A inclusão das narrativas no Seminário de Integração como estratégia metodológica de ensino na saúde trouxe a qualificação dos relatos e aproximou os estudantes do ser humano a ser cuidado, passando por sua queixa principal, história de vida e subjetividades. Currículos inovadores e integrados na área da saúde devem ser acompanhados permanentemente com base na experiência concreta nesta e em outras instituições de educação superior do País.

ABSTRACT This documentary exploratory research project with a qualitative approach aimed to understand how dental students are being trained in terms of healthcare, by means of an interdisciplinary teaching activity held in the second year of dental school. A retrospective survey was performed from the material produced by the students during the third semester of the dentistry course at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, by means of the IV Integration Seminar held in 2006-2013. The analysis corpus consisted of reports featuring patient monitoring and narratives. We analyzed 95 patient case reports and 67 narratives using the thematic analysis method on Bardin content. Analysis of the material resulted in 17 meaning units/emerging categories. The inclusion of narratives in the Integration Seminar as a methodological strategy for health education facilitated the qualification of reports and brought students closer to the human beings under care, by means of exposing the students to the patients’ chief complaint, life history and subjective factors. The specific experiences of this study as well as those of other Brazilian educational institutions suggest that innovative and integrated curricula in the healthcare field must be implemented on a permanent basis.

The association of microphthalmia and linear skin defects was named microphthalmia with linear skin defects syndrome (MLS) or MIDAS syndrome (microphthalmia, dermal aplasia, and sclerocornea), an X-chromosomal disorder manifesting mainly in females. We examined a female newborn with facial linear skin defects following the Blaschko lines. Computer tomography and ophthalmological examination confirmed bilateral microphthalmia. An interstitial microdeletion at Xp22.2, encompassing the entire HCCS gene, was identified. Dermatoscopic examination showed erythematous linear areas with telangectasias and absence of sebaceous glands, which appear as brilliant white dots. Vellus hairs were also absent in the red areas. Dermatoscopy could help to establish the diagnosis of MLS/MIDAS syndrome by confirming the aplastic nature of the lesions.

No presente estudo, o teor de flúor e o pH de 14 marcas comerciais de soluções para bochechos foram avaliados a fim de comparar com os valores expressos nos rótulos e com aqueles determinados pela Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária. Foram adquiridos 42 produtos em três localidades, com diferentes lotes de fabricação. A concentração de flúor foi determinada em soluções diluídas, utilizando-se eletrodo específico combinado para íon flúor (9609 BN Orion Research) e analisador de íons (290 A Orion Research). Os resultados mostraram que 50% das soluções apresentaram diferenças estatisticamente significantes, com concentrações de flúor superiores àquelas expressas nos rótulos e o pH variou entre 4,23 a 7,34, mas apenas um dos produtos registrou o valor do pH em seu rótulo.

In this study, the fluoride concentration and pH of 14 commercial brands of mouthrinses were assessed in order to compare them with the values expressed on the labels and with those established by the National Sanitary Surveillance Agency. Forty-two (42) products were obtained from three places, with different manufacturing batches. The fluoride concentration was determined in diluted solutions, using a combined specific electrode for fluoride ion (9609 BN Orion Research) and ion analyzer (290 A Orion Research). The results showed that 50% of the solutions had statistically significant differences, with higher fluoride concentrations than those expressed on the labels, and the pH ranged from 4.23 to 7.34, but only one of the products registered the pH value on its label.
