Abstract This article aims to make evident the meanings of remote classes in the context of Covid-19 attributed by a group of college students, evidencing its difficulties, mobilizations and learnings. The participants in this research were 54 academics from the popular class, from different undergraduate courses who study at a private institution of higher education located in an up-country city in the state of Bahia. Knowing this, we conducted the research anchored in the theory of the relationship with knowledge and the concepts of mobilization, meaning and pleasure; we also relied on qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Therefore, we developed a data collection with the use of two instruments: a questionnaire and a knowledge balance. This balance of knowledge is an instrument of data production that consists in preparing a written record based on questions presented by the researcher. Under this light, for data collection, we sought to know the mobilizations in continuing to study remotely during the pandemic, the understanding of the meaning of online studying, its value for the students participating in this research and the sufferings experienced by them in this period contextualized by the Covid-19. We concluded that the mobilization to continue studying comes from the desire of not dropping out of the course, as they still see the university as an opportunity to achieve a prosperous future. Likewise, more than half of students have adapted well to the new model (55 percent), however, 81 percent still prefer an in person experience. They are, in their majority, students who suffer from social distancing and psychological disorders, especially anxiety. Resumo Este artigo busca explicitar os sentidos atribuídos por um grupo de estudantes acadêmicos às aulas remotas no contexto da Covid-19, evidenciando seus sofrimentos, mobilizações e aprendizados. Os participantes desta pesquisa foram 54 acadêmicos de classe popular, de diversos cursos de graduação que estudam em uma instituição privada de ensino superior localizada em uma cidade interiorana do estado da Bahia. Com esse entendimento, conduzimos a pesquisa ancorados na teoria da Relação com o Saber e dos conceitos de mobilização, sentido e prazer; também nos apoiamos na pesquisa qualitativa com abordagem fenomenológica. Sendo assim, a coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de dois instrumentos: questionário e balanço de saber. O balanço de saber é um instrumento de produção de dados que consiste na elaboração de um registro escrito a partir de questões apresentadas pelo pesquisador. Diante disso, para a coleta de dados, buscaramse conhecer as mobilizações para continuar estudando remotamente na pandemia, a compreensão do sentido de estudar on-line, seu valor para os estudantes participantes desta pesquisa e os sofrimentos vivenciados por eles nesse período contextualizado pela Covid-19. Conclui-se que a mobilização para continuar estudando vem do desejo de não querer trancar o curso, pois ainda veem a universidade como uma oportunidade para alcançar um futuro bem-sucedido. Resumo Este artigo apresenta resultados de uma investigação que buscou compreender a relação com o saber acadêmico de estudantes universitários de uma instituição privada de educação superior. O campo da pesquisa foi o Centro Universitário AGES (UniAGES) localizado no estado da Bahia. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram 170 estudantes de primeiro e segundo período que ingressaram na educação superior mediante o auxílio de programas governamentais, tais como o Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (Fies) e o Programa Universidade para Todos (ProUni) e mesmo o implementado pela Instituição, o Programa de Acolhimento (ProVIDA). A coleta de dados foi realizada a partir do balanço de saber, instrumento proposto por Bernard Charlot que consiste no processo da produção de um texto a respeito das aprendizagens do sujeito. Primeiramente, o artigo apresenta os eixos teóricos, seguidos da análise das aprendizagens evocadas pelos estudantes, após é discutido com quem os estudantes dizem ter aprendido, a preponderância das aprendizagens intelectuais e acadêmicas e, por fim, os projetos que elaboram para o futuro. Conclui-se que a relação com o saber dos sujeitos da pesquisa está ligada à valorização das aprendizagens intelectuais e acadêmicas como promessa de uma vida melhor. Trata-se do elemento de mobilização para entrar na universidade e, por almejarem a inserção no mercado de trabalho em uma sociedade especializada, não é incomum a preponderância apresentada para o tipo de aprendizado indicado com veemência.

Abstract This article presents results of an investigation that sought to understand the relationship with academic knowledge of university students from a private institution of higher education. The research field was AGES University Center (UniAGES) located in the state of Bahia. The research subjects were 170 first and second period students who entered higher education through the aid of government programs, such as the Student Financing Fund (Fies) and the University for All Program (ProUni) and even the one implemented by the Institution, the Reception Program (ProVIDA). Data collection was carried out from the balance of knowledge, an instrument proposed by Bernard Charlot that consists of the process of producing a text about the subject’s learning. First, the article presents the theoretical axes, followed by the analysis of the learning evoked by the students, after it is discussed with whom the students say they have learned, the preponderance of intellectual and academic learning and, finally, the projects they elaborate for the future. It is concluded that the relationship with the knowledge of the research subjects is linked to the valuation of intellectual and academic learning as a promise of a better life. It is the element of mobilization to enter the university and, aiming at the insertion in the job market in a specialized society, it is not uncommon the preponderance presented for the type of learning strongly indicated.
