ABSTRACT In this quantitative study, through Multiple Correspondence Analysis, we explored the existence of a statistically significant association between conventional and alternative organizational characteristics and the attribution of satisfaction or dissatisfaction at work. The study had 172 respondents participating in an online survey. The results indicate that all characteristics of conventional organizations, to a greater or lesser extent, were associated with the perception of dissatisfaction, whereas characteristics of alternative organizations, in the same way, were associated with satisfaction. Four dimensions of comparison between conventional and alternative organizational modes stood out in terms of contribution and relevance, namely: i) technical orientation (efficiency versus conviviality); ii) economic orientation (growth versus sufficiency); iii) commercial orientation (market versus community); and iv) inter-organizational orientation competition vers(us cooperation). The results, specifically, show that the technical orientation toward productive efficiency, as well as the commercial orientation toward the market, is, at a strong level, associated with dissatisfaction, while the cooperative inter-organizational orientation is strongly associated with satisfaction. RESUMO Neste estudo quantitativo, por meio da Análise de Correspondência Múltipla, exploramos a existência de associação estatisticamente significativa entre as características organizacionais convencionais e alternativas e a atribuição da satisfação ou insatisfação no trabalho. O estudo contou com 172 respondentes participantes de uma survey online. Os resultados indicam que todas as características de organizações convencionais, em maior ou menor nível, associaram-se à percepção de insatisfação, enquanto características de organizações alternativas, da mesma forma, associaram-se à satisfação. Resumo O objetivo desta pesquisa foi compreender as perspectivas de docentes e estudantes brasileiros sobre o papel da terapia ocupacional na Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS). Trata-se de estudo de caráter exploratório e com metodologia qualitativa realizado por meio de entrevistas semi-estruturadas com 17 docentes e de nove rodas de conversa com a participação de 67 estudantes. A análise temática revelou duas categorias: 1- Contribuições da terapia ocupacional para a Atenção Primária à Saúde; e 2- O papel específico da terapia ocupacional na Atenção Primária à Saúde, que se traduzem em oferta de cuidado integral, compreensão ampliada do contexto territorial, do cotidiano e ações dirigidas à promoção da participação nas atividades em diversas áreas da vida das pessoas atendidas. No entanto, a terapia ocupacional na Atenção Primária à Saúde necessita ser ainda mais explorada para que seja possível sistematizar e aprofundar o desenvolvimento de suas práticas na APS.

Abstract The objective of this research was to understand how perspectives of Brazilian professors and students on the role of occupational therapy in Primary Health Care (PHC). This is an exploratory study with a qualitative methodology, data provided through semi-structured interviews with 17 documents and nine conversation circles with the participation of 67 students. The thematic analysis revealed two categories: 1 - The contributions of occupational therapy for Primary Health Care and 2 - The specific role of occupational therapy in Primary Health Care. The contributions and the role of occupational therapy encompass the provision of comprehensive care, the understanding of daily life, and the promotion of participation in activities in different areas of the lives of the people assisted. However, occupational therapy can still be further explored so that it is possible to systematize the most detailed and in-depth way as practices in PHC.

Resumo Introdução O diálogo específico da terapia ocupacional com a Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS) apresenta fragilidades, o que requer compreensão em profundidade. Objetivo Identificar e analisar as práticas de terapeutas ocupacionais na APS e sua interface com os atributos essenciais e derivados desse nível assistencial. Método Pesquisa de métodos mistos (sequencial explanatória) por meio de três fases: Fase 1 – coleta de dados quantitativos e qualitativos por uma Internet Surveys com 105 terapeutas ocupacionais da APS; a Fase 2 – abordagem qualitativa a partir da Teoria Fundamentada em Dados, por meio de entrevistas e observações da prática com oito profissionais, oriundas da primeira fase; Fase 3 – discussão e análise dos resultados. Resultados Fase 1 – 93,3% das participantes foram mulheres, a maioria de capitais e regiões metropolitanas e do Núcleo Ampliado de Saúde da Família e Atenção Básica (NASF-AB). Quanto à orientação das suas práticas pelos atributos, foram identificados: atenção ao primeiro contato (92,3%), longitudinalidade (84,7%), integralidade (95,2%), coordenação do cuidado (83,8%), orientação familiar (90,4%), orientação comunitária (76,1%) e competência cultural (60,9%). Fase 2 – oito terapeutas ocupacionais do NASF-AB, de capitais e regiões metropolitanas do sudeste e nordeste, informaram o processo de trabalho na APS e sua análise indicou as seguintes categorias: características e fundamentação da prática, terapia ocupacional no apoio clínico e pedagógico e desafios da prática. Conclusão Foi possível constatar que as práticas de terapeutas ocupacionais fazem interface com os atributos da APS, o que indica sua pertinência e inserção nesse nível assistencial.

Abstract Introduction The specific dialogue of occupational therapy with Primary Health Care (APS) has weaknesses, which requires in-depth understanding. Objective To identify and analyze the practices of occupational therapists in APS and its interface with the essential and derived attributes of this level of care. Method Research of mixed methods (explanatory sequential) through three phases: Phase 1 - a collection of quantitative and qualitative data by an Internet Surveys with 105 occupational therapists from APS; Phase 2 - qualitative approach starting the Grounded Theory, through interviews and observations of the practice with 8 professionals from the first phase; Phase 3 - Discussion and analyzing of results. Results Phase 1 - 93.3% of the participants were women, mostly from state capitals and metropolitan regions, and from the Extended Family Health and Primary Care Center (NASF-AB). Regarding the orientation of their practices by APS attributes, the following results were identified: first contact attention (92.3%), longitudinality (84.7%), completeness (95.2%), care coordination (83.8%), family orientation (90.4%), community orientation (76.1%) and cultural competence (60.9%). Phase 2 - Eight NASF-AB occupational therapists from southeastern and northeastern capitals and metropolitan regions reported the work process in APS and their analysis indicated the following categories: practice characteristics and rationale, occupational therapy in clinical and pedagogical support, and challenges of practice. Conclusion It was possible to verify that the occupational therapists’ practices interface with the APS attributes, which indicates their relevance and insertion in this level of care.

Abstract The present study develops and applies a neuro-fuzzy modal vibration control of smart laminated composite structures with piezoelectric layers via Mixed theory. Differently from previous studies, the composite structures in this paper are modeled via the Mixed Theory using the High-order Shear Deformation Theory (HSDT) theory. The Mixed Theory adopts a single layer when representing the mechanical displacement field, through HSDT theory, and multiple layers (Layerwise theory) for the electrical degrees of freedom. The Mixed Theory is computationally implemented in the Matlab® software using a plate-type element called Serendipity. Moreover, a neuro-fuzzy active vibration controller is implemented to attenuate the vibration of the smart composite structures. The numerical results validate the electric-mechanical coupling adopted, showing the importance of the mixed theory in the static and dynamic modeling of slender beams and plates with piezoelectric layers. Finally, the results of the robustness analysis indicate that the neuro-fuzzy controller has benefits compared with the linear quadratic regulator.

ABSTRACT: In this paper it was sought to enhance the potential damage detection, location and quantification of the Discrete and Continuous Wavelet Transforms in thin damaged laminated composite plates by a signal derived from vibration modes. To evaluate the ability of both transforms in the damage prognostic it was also proposed the use of Damage Indexes. The matrix damage level occurs during the impulsive load application over the analyzed structures. The finite element used was a Serendipity-type with rectangular shape, 8 nodes and 5 mechanical degrees-of-freedom per node, which was formulated by First-order Shear Deformation Theory on MATLAB (MathWorks®). The dynamic equation of motion including internal damage was solved by the Newmark implicit integration method. The results have demonstrated that mother wavelets, whether discrete or continuous, applied in dynamic signal processing, can detect a small damage magnitude in the matrix level. Moreover, the proposed Damage Indexes can quantify the damage magnitude as well as determine the most appropriate vibration mode and scalar parameter of the Continuous Wavelet Transform for damage detention.

Pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa por meio da realização de entrevistas com 17 docentes de terapia ocupacional. Os dados foram categorizados em dois temas. 1) A trajetória docente foi identificada com a APS a partir de experiências de formação, de prática profissional e de anseios de mudanças para as possibilidades extramuros de atuação territorial e comunitária da terapia ocupacional. 2) As docentes apontaram a realização da formação para APS nos cursos por meio de diferentes estratégias de ensino, pesquisa e extensão. A trajetória docente na APS e a aprendizagem teórico-prática deve ser valorizada na formação de terapeutas ocupacionais para APS.

Teaching career path in PHC and practice-theoretical learning needs to be valued in the training of occupational therapists acting in PHC.

The toxicological impact of chemical pesticides on fungal entomopathogens and their use in tank-mixing can be directly measured through in vitro compatibility tests. This study reports the in vitro toxicity of eight insecticides, four fungicides and five herbicides in the conidial germination, vegetative growth and conidiation of Metarhizium anisopliae (strain CG 168). A conidial suspension containing the pesticide at recommended field dosage was subjected to constant agitation in a rotary shaker for 3h to simulate a tank mixing. Then, aliquots of each suspension were used to determine conidial germination, vegetative growth and conidiation on potato dextrose agar (PDA). The fungicides difenoconazole (69 mL ha-1), propiconazole (75 mL ha-1), trifloxystrobin (313 g ha-1) and azoxystrobin (56 mL ha-1) were the most harmful products to all biological stages of M. anisopliae and they should not be applied together with this fungus in tank mixing. The insecticides exhibited the least degree of toxicity to this fungal pathogen, whereas the herbicides had the greatest impact on mycelial growth. The agrochemicals compatible with M. anisopliae were the insecticides methyl parathion (240 mL ha-1), thiamethoxam (31 g ha-1), and lambda-cyhalothrin (6.3 mL ha-1) and the herbicides glyphosate (1560 mL ha-1), bentazon (720 mL ha-1), and imazapic+ imazapyr (84 g ha-1). The compatible pesticides could be simultaneously used with this bio-control agent for integrated pest management in rice production systems.
