ABSTRACT The goal of this study is to propose a decision model for supporting the choice of the best-agile model, based on the Flexible and Interactive Tradeoff (FITradeoff) method. This study provides the definition of an extensive set of 38 measurable criteria that were considered for evaluation of the most popular agile process models used in small and medium-scale enterprises. To illustrate the application of the model, we applied it to a set of alternatives that includes DSDM, SCRUM, XP2 and Crystal and an experienced project manager acted as our decision maker during the interactive elicitation process of the FITradeoff. The results show that the FITradeoff is very valuable for this class of problem because of its strong mathematical foundation and the possibility of combining two different ways for modeling the preferences of decision makers, which makes the process cognitively easier than other multi-criteria methods and increase the confidence on the results. RESUMO: Com a recente ampliação do público feminino nas forças armadas, cresce a necessidade de estudos sobre a seleção e o treinamento das atletas militares brasileiras. O objetivo do estudo foi determinar as características antropométricas das atletas de Pentatlo Militar da equipe do Exército, e identificar quais variáveis estão presentes nas atletas de melhor desempenho na modalidade. Foram coletados os dados antropométricos e de desempenho atlético (seletiva para os 6º Jogos Mundiais Militares 2015) de cinco atletas de Pentatlo Militar do Exército e foram realizadas análises de grupamentos (Cluster). Foi observada a existência de dois grupos quanto à composição corporal: o formado pelas atletas com os maiores valores de massa livre de gordura e circunferência muscular do braço, bem como menores valores de soma de dobras cutâneas e percentual de gordura, pertenciam ao grupo de melhores atletas quanto a rendimento nas provas. Esse comportamento não foi observado para dimensões corporais.

ABSTRACT The recent increase of the women working for the military forces augments the need for studies that aim to optimize the selection and training of Brazilian athletes. The aim of the present study was to determine the anthropometric characteristics of female Military Pentathlon Army team, and identify which variables present the best values within the best performance athletes group. We collected anthropometric and performance data (selective for the 6th Military World Games) from five athletes of female Military Pentathlon Army team and data were analized by cluster analysis. It has been detected two groups in terms of body composition: one composed by the athletes with the highest fat free mass values and arm muscle circumference, as well as smaller sum of skinfold values and fat percentage which also composed the group of top athletic performance athletes. This fact was not observed for body size variables.

O objetivo deste estudo é a construção de um procedimento para apoiar as unidades do Senai em Campina Grande-PB, na seleção de alunos do ensino médio para cursos de educação profissional e tecnológica disponibilizados pelo governo federal através do Pronatec. O procedimento inclui o estabelecimento dos critérios de exclusão e seleção dos candidatos, conforme as diretrizes do Pronatec e regras estabelecidas pela Secretaria de Educação do Estado; a avaliação estruturada dos candidatos, onde é utilizado o método multicritério PROMETHEE II; e a estruturação do processo de divulgação do resultado da seleção. Com critérios bem definidos e com a garantia da consideração de todos eles na avaliação dos candidatos foi possível, através do procedimento, realizar uma seleção melhor dos candidatos que atendesse tanto aos critérios sociais estabelecidos pelo programa como também ao perfil demandado por esse tipo de formação e pelo setor produtivo.

The objective of this study is the construction of a procedure to aid the SENAI in Campina Grande, Paraíba, in the selection of high school students for enrollment in professional and technology courses provided by the federal government through the PRONATEC program. The procedure includes the establishment of exclusion and selection criteria according to the PRONATEC guidelines and some rules established by the Secretary of Paraíba for Education; a structured evaluation of candidates, supported by the multicriteria method PROMETHÉE II; and the structuring of the selection process disclosure. The procedure improves the quality of the selection process, ensuring that the program's goals are met.

Any interaction involving individuals, whose objectives are conflicting with each other, may establish a negotiation process. In a negotiation, each party should develop his/her own strategy and, normally, a win-lose vision is frequently adopted. The main consequence of this behavior is a result, in which both parties lose, especially when the negotiation involves more than one aspect, such as negotiations resulting from purchases of material for construction industry, where aspects like price, quality and lead-time should be considered. Most of the negotiation involving construction industry adopts a win-lose vision; and, commonly, only the issue price is considered. The goal of this paper is to propose a framework to support negotiations between two parties (buyer and seller) in the supply chain of construction industry. The combination of a win-win strategy with a multicriteria analysis produces a best compromise solution for both parties. A simulation of negotiation using realistic data is presented.

A structured evaluation of the construction industry's suppliers, considering aspects which make their quality and credibility evident, can be a strategic tool to manage this specific supply chain. This study proposes a multi-criteria decision model for suppliers' selection from the construction industry, as well as an efficient evaluation procedure for the selected suppliers. The model is based on SMARTER (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique Exploiting Ranking) method and its main contribution is a new approach to structure the process of suppliers' selection, establishing explicit strategic policies on which the company management system relied to make the suppliers selection. This model was applied to a Civil Construction Company in Brazil and the main results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed model. This study allowed the development of an approach to Construction Industry which was able to provide a better relationship among its managers, suppliers and partners.
