Resumo Este texto pretende analisar os desafios do trânsito da teoria queer nos contextos brasileiro e do chamado Sul global. Como pensar essa recepção sem repetir a oposição entre um Norte central e produtor, e um Sul periférico e receptor? Após apresentarmos um estado da arte relativo às produções brasileiras no campo da teoria queer, avançaremos a hipótese de que a Crítica Queer of Colour poderia facilitar esse trânsito. Considerando as questões de gênero e sexualidades enquanto inseparáveis da história pós/neocolonial do Ocidente (racismo, imigração, imperialismo), essa teoria constitui uma voz radical que se opõe ao conformismo de muitos grupos LGBT, na maioria dos países centrais.

Abstract This paper analyzes challenges linked to the circulations of queer theory in the context of Brazil and the so-called Global South. How can this reception be considered without repeating the opposition between a central and productive North and a peripheral and receptive South? After presenting a state of the art about Brazilian literature in the field of Queer Theory, we present the hypothesis that Queer of Color Critique could help this circulation of ideas. By considering issues of gender and sexualities to be inseparable from the post/neo-colonial history of the West (racism, immigration, imperialism), Queer of Color Theory represents a radical voice in opposition to the conformism of many LGBT groups, in the majority of central countries..

Resumo: Este texto conduz a um primeiro mapeamento do campo de estudo sobre sexualidades e teoria queer em contextos africanos. A África está se delineando como um laboratório de elaboração de práticas teóricas - no campo do feminismo e das sexualidades dissidentes. Destacamos as produções de uma jovem geração de africanos que problematiza as normas sexuais e de gênero nos diversos países da África do ponto de vista teórico, nos fundamentamos na primeira coletânea Queer africana, o Queer African Reader (QAR), publicada em 2013, e na coletânea Reclaiming Afrikan, publicada em 2014, que reúnem contribuições de estudios@s e militantes de vários países do continente. O maior aporte destas reflexões consiste em romper com a imagem de uma África homogênea do ponto de vista cultural e das práticas sexuais, colocando contra o muro a representação da África “obsessivamente” homofóbica, perpetuada pelas agendas LGBT globais, e a representação do caráter supostamente não africano da homossexualidade, disseminada pelos discursos nacionalistas de grupos religiosos locais. O QAR apresenta uma versão descolonizada da dissidência sexual que repensa o queer desde o Sul.

Abstract: This text aims at presenting a first mapping of the field of queer and sexualities studies in African contexts. Africa is becoming a laboratory of production of theoretical practices, in the field of feminism and sexual dissidence. We emphasize the production of a young African generation who questions sexual and gender norms in different African countries. From the theoretical point of view, we refer to the Queer African Reader (QAR), the first collection of papers from researchers and activists from different African countries, published in 2013, and to a second collection, Reclaiming Afrikan, published in 2014. The major contribution of these thinks consists in breaking with the image of a culturally homogeneous Africa, and from the point of view of sexual practices, putting against the wall both the representations of an obsessively homophobic Africa, perpetuated by LGBT global agendas, and of homosexuality as supposedly un-african, disseminated by nationalist discourses of local religious groups. O QAR represents a decolonized version of sexual dissidence, rethinking queer from the South.

Resumo: Este texto pretende apresentar o fenômeno do feminismo romani (cigano) que, a partir do começo do século XXI, está se desenvolvendo em vários países europeus e das Américas com a intenção de empoderar as mulheres ciganas no seio das comunidades e da sociedade majoritária. Desenvolvendo uma perspectiva interseccional em termos de gênero, raça e classe, as autoras ciganas, ativistas e acadêmicas, se colocam em diálogo com as correntes feministas pós-coloniais, em particular, com o feminismo negro e chicano norte-americanos. Nesta ótica, o feminismo romani propõe uma redefinição das fronteiras do pós-colonial, enfatizando novos espaços de subalternidade e de luta, e atravessando territórios geográficos-simbólicos que costumamos pensar como centrais e hegemônicos.

Abstract: This text tries to introduce the recent phenomenon of Romani Feminism that, from the beginning of the XXIst century, is spreading in many European countries and in America aiming at empowering Romani women in their communities and in the majority society. Using an intersectional perspective articulating gender, race and class, gypsy feminists, activists and academics, discuss with the most important post-colonial feminist currents, and in particular, with American Black Feminism and Chicano Feminism. In this view, Romani Feminism invites us to redefine post-colonial borders, thus emphasizing new spaces of subalternity and of struggles, and crossing geographic and symbolic lands which we usually think as central and hegemonic.
