Las acciones realizadas durante la fase defensiva en balonmano pueden ser determinantes para los resultados de los partidos, y los análisis en esta fase permiten identificar aspectos clave que pueden ayudar en la planificación y entrenamiento de los equipos. El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar la influencia de las relaciones numéricas en sistemas defensivos cerrados y abiertos en partidos de balonmano de alto nivel. Se analizaron doce partidos del Campeonato de Europa de clubes de Balonmano, cuyo instrumento de análisis permitió identificar la relación numérica del juego (superioridad defensiva o igualdad) y cuantificar los resultados (GO: gol; NG: sin gol; PP: perdida del balón) y regiones de la cancha en las que terminaron las acciones ofensivas. Se utilizó el chi-cuadrado para el análisis de datos. Los resultados mostraron similitudes para la realización del ataque a través de situaciones de igualdad con el uso de sistemas cerrados (GO = 47.3%; NG = 33.6%; PP = 19.1%) y sistemas abiertos (GO = 46.0%; NG = 34.3%; PP = 19.7%). Para esta situación, se demostró que el uso de sistemas cerrados provoca la pérdida del balón más lejos de la portería (9m- = 56.9%; 9m + = 43.1%), cuando se compara con el uso de sistemas abiertos (9m- = 64.5%; 9m + = 35.5%). En superioridad numérica defensiva, el uso de sistemas abiertos (GO = 28.6%; NG = 53.6%; PP = 17.9%), en comparación con sistemas cerrados (GO = 49.3%; NG = 29.6%; PP = 21.1 %), mostró mayor efectividad en los resultados de las acciones. Además, las secuencias terminaron más lejos del objetivo cuando se utilizaron sistemas abiertos (9m- = 42.9%; 9m+ = 57.1%), en comparación con sistemas cerrados (9m- = 68.3%; 9m+ = 31.7%). Se concluyó que la elección del sistema defensivo debe basarse en el modelo de juego del equipo y en las relaciones recurrentes del juego, especialmente en situaciones de igualdad numérica (más frecuentes). Sin embargo, cuando se tiene una ventaja numérica defensiva, limitar el espacio y el tiempo para que los atacantes tomen decisiones parece ser una estrategia eficaz.

Análises abordando essa fase do jogo vêm sendo realizadas para identificar aspectos determinantes e que possam auxiliar no planejamento e treinamentos das equipes. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a influência das relações numéricas nos sistemas defensivos fechados e abertos no handebol de alto nível. Para isso foram analisados 12 jogos do campeonato europeu de handebol de clubes, cujo instrumento de análise permitiu identificar a relação numérica do jogo (superioridade ou igualdade numérica defensiva) e quantificar os resultados (GO: gol; NG: não-gol; PP: perda de posse da bola) e os locais em que se encerraram as ações ofensivas. Foi utilizado o teste qui-quadrado para análise dos dados. Os resultados apontaram semelhanças para a conclusão do ataque mediante situações de igualdade com a utilização dos sistemas fechados (GO = 47.3%; NG = 33.6%; PP = 19.1%) e dos sistemas abertos (GO = 46.0%; NG = 34.3%; PP = 19.7%). Para essa situação, demonstrou-se que a utilização dos sistemas fechados provoca o encerramento da posse mais distante do gol (9m- = 56.9%; 9m+ = 43.1%), quando comparado à utilização dos sistemas abertos (9m- = 64.5%; 9m+ = 35.5%). Em situações de superioridade numérica defensiva a utilização dos sistemas abertos (GO = 28.6%; NG = 53.6%; PP = 17.9%), quando comparados aos sistemas fechados (GO = 49.3%; NG = 29.6%; PP = 21.1%), apresentou maior eficácia nos resultados das ações. Além disso, as sequências se encerraram mais distantes do gol quando foram utilizados sistemas abertos (9m- = 42.9%; 9m+ = 57.1%) em comparação aos sistemas fechados (9m- = 68.3%; 9m+ = 31.7%). Conclui-se que a escolha do sistema defensivo deve ser pautada no modelo de jogo da equipe e nas relações recorrentes do jogo, nos momentos de igualdade numérica (mais frequentes). Porém, em momentos de vantagem numérica defensiva limitar o espaço e o tempo para que os atacantes tomem decisões mostra-se como uma estratégia eficaz.

Abstract Aim: This study aimed to describe how specific training for goalkeepers of youth handball teams is planned and executed in Brazil. Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive and quantitative study was based on information from 134 coaches responsible for specific training of handball goalkeepers for youth (under 12 - U12; U14; U16; and U18) teams. The selection of participants was non-randomly for convenience, using the virtual snowball method. The information was obtained through an online self-completion questionnaire carried out by the Google Forms platform. The questionnaire data were tabulated and assessed using the SPSS statistical program, and the information was presented using descriptive statistics. Results: The results show that specific training of goalkeepers occurs in 71.1% of youth handball teams. About the structure of the specific training session, most of it is performed 1 or 2 times a week (70.9%), lasting from 25 to 60 min (73.9%) and given by the team's leading coaches (77.6%). More than half of the participants stated that the training session occurs with the goalkeepers and the person in charge (55.2%). Most participants (69.4%) stated that the teams analyze and assess the goalkeepers' performance, and the training planning takes place weekly (39.6%). Conclusion: This data provides essential information that partially fills gaps in the literature and allows researchers and coaches to reflect on their practices, considering the importance of planning specific training for goalkeepers.

El análisis del rendimiento está relacionado con la pedagogía del deporte. Las bases teóricas que sustentan las selecciones metodológicas deben estar bien establecidas para que haya una convergencia entre los instrumentos de evaluación y el proceso de enseñanza y entrenamiento. Este ensayo pretende presentar y discutir la importancia y representatividad del análisis de redes sociales para evaluar el rendimiento en los deportes de equipo. El objetivo principal del análisis de redes sociales es estudiar la relación entre los jugadores para identificar las posibles causas y consecuencias de los eventos durante el partido. Así, el análisis de redes sociales es diferente de los análisis tradicionales, en los que el foco principal está en el sujeto, o de los análisis notacionales, que son más utilizados y acumulan la frecuencia de los eventos ocurridos (por ejemplo, los goles marcados, la posesión del balón, las zonas de remate). Esta herramienta de evaluación, posicionada teóricamente en un enfoque ecológico, se muestra eficaz para la identificación de los patrones de interacción en un grupo y la comprensión de los artificios sociales que ayudan a entender el rendimiento de un equipo. Así, los equipos pasan a ser analizados como grupos sociales y no como sujetos aislados. En este ensayo, también se exponen las principales aplicaciones prácticas de esta herramienta de evaluación en diferentes deportes de equipo, como el fútbol, el fútbol sala, el balonmano, el baloncesto y el voleibol.

A análise de desempenho é uma disciplina intimamente relacionada à pedagogia do esporte. As bases teóricas que sustentam as escolhas metodológicas devem ser bem estabelecidas para existir uma convergência entre os instrumentos de avaliação e o processo de ensino e treinamento. Este ensaio teórico teve por objetivo apresentar e discutir a importância e representatividade da análise de redes sociais para avaliar o desempenho em esportes coletivos. O principal objetivo da análise de redes sociais é estudar a relação entre os jogadores para identificar possíveis causas e consequências dos eventos ocorridos durante a partida. Sendo assim, a análise de redes sociais trabalha de forma diferente das análises tradicionais, nas quais o principal foco está no sujeito, ou em análises notacionais que são as mais comumente utilizadas e que buscam a acumulação da frequência dos eventos ocorridos (e.g. gols marcados, posse de bola, áreas de finalização das jogadas). Tal instrumento de avaliação, teoricamente posicionado numa abordagem ecológica, mostra-se eficaz para a identificação de padrões de interação num grupo e o entendimento dos artifícios sociais que ajudam a compreender o desempenho em uma equipe. Assim, as equipes passam a ser analisadas como grupos sociais e não como sujeitos isolados. Neste ensaio, também se apresentam as principais aplicações práticas desse instrumento de avaliação em diferentes esportes coletivos, tais como o futebol, o futsal, o handebol, o basquetebol e o voleibol.

Social networks analysis in sports through an ecological approach—a theoretical framework. PENSAR EN MOVIMIENTO: Revista de Ciencias del Ejercicio y la Salud, 19(2), 1-19. Performance analysis is a discipline that is closely related to the pedagogy of sports. The theoretical foundations that undergird methodological choices must be well established in order for a convergence to exist between evaluation instruments and the process of teaching and training. The objective of the present theoretical study was to present and discuss the importance and representativeness of social networks analysis in order to evaluate the performance in group sports. The main purpose of social networks analysis is to study the relationships among players, in order to identify possible causes and consequences of the events that took place during a match. Thus, the analysis of social networks works differently from traditional analyses, whose major focus is on the subject, or in notational analyses that are most commonly used and that look for the accumulation of frequency of the events that have occurred (e.g., goals scored, ball possession, finishing zones). Such an instrument of evaluation, theoretically positioned on an ecological approach, proves effective for the identification of interaction patterns in a group and for understanding the social artifices that help to understand performance in a team. Thus, teams come to be analyzed as social groups instead of isolated individuals. This study also presents the main practical applications of this evaluation instrument in different group sports such as soccer football, indoor soccer, handball, basketball and volleyball.

Abstract Aims: to analyze the choices of handball coaches for structuring the defensive return throughout the teaching-learning process (U-12 to U-18 teams). Methods: Nineteen coaches from teams U-12 to U-18 from two leagues in the state of São Paulo were interviewed. The speeches from the semi-structured interviews were analyzed through thematic analysis, which produced two themes and their respective subthemes. Results: Most coaches structure their defensive return and emphasize content to make it difficult for an opponent to counterattack. A higher percentage of directed play was observed in teams U-12 and U-14, which suggests a possible early specialization process. In the U-16 and U-18 teams, higher percentages of free play were observed when compared to the others. In older teams, a higher percentage of directed play would be expected, mainly because these are stages with an increase in player specialization. Conclusion: The findings suggest that the simultaneous training of different teams may be leading to sports specialization procedures in the younger teams and, simultaneously, underestimating the possibilities in the older teams.

RESUMO O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar, na opinião de jogadoras de handebol, os métodos de ensino preferidos e as transferências entre os conceitos enfatizados em cada método e o jogo formal. Foram entrevistadas 17 jogadoras de handebol da categoria adulta de uma equipe municipal do Estado de São Paulo. Seus depoimentos foram analisados a partir do método do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. Os resultados mostraram que as jogadoras apresentam preferência por métodos de ensino ativo (como o situacional e o global-funcional), principalmente pelas questões que envolvem a complexidade do contexto do jogo. Em relação à transferência entre os métodos de ensino ativos e o jogo as jogadoras destacaram a demanda psicológica, as questões técnico-táticas, as semelhanças com o contexto do jogo e a necessidade de ajustar os comportamentos às demandas do jogo. Conclui-se que as jogadoras preferem treinamentos atrelados à dinâmica do jogo, com oposição, privilegiando situações que provoquem questionamentos sobre o jogo.

ABSTRACT The aim of this work was to identify, in handball players speeches’, the preferred teaching approaches and the transfers between the concepts emphasized in each method and the formal game. Seventeen handball players of adult team (from the State of São Paulo) were interviewed. Their speeches were analyzed using the Collective Subject Discourse method. The results showed that female players prefer active teaching approaches (such as situational and through games), mainly because of the complexity of game context. About the transfer between the active teaching approaches and the formal game, players emphasized the psychological demand, the technical-tactical aspects, the similarities with game and the behaviors adjustment to game demands. It is concluded that players prefer training linked to game dynamics, with opposition, privileging situations that provoke questions about the game.

Abstract Aims: To analyze the structuring elements of the defensive phase of beach handball based on the coaches’ speeches. Methods: Five coaches of adult male and/or female teams that played the Beach Handball championship of Sao Paulo State were interviewed. For the analysis of the speeches, the Collective Subject Discourse method was used. Results: The defensive phase is structured from hierarchical aspects: numerical asymmetry (by the presence of the specialist player), defensive systems (influenced by the characteristics of the players of their own team and the opponents), and technical-tactical specific actions (defensive blocking, coverage, dissuading…). The numerical asymmetry and the defensive system are responsible for the choices of the technical-tactical actions. Conclusion: The defensive structuring elements are related in a hierarchical way, which provides a better understanding of beach handball by coaches and players.

Abstract The aim of this work was to analyze the opinion of school team handball coaches about the offensive content and the teaching approaches used by them. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with eleven coaches, whose statements were analyzed based on the Collective Subject Discourse Method. The main individual contents referred to as a) the good execution of the technique and the tactical elements; and b) the organizational evolution of the game. To teach these contents, the coaches mostly use the technique approach. The collective contents identified were: a) spatial orientation and environmental observation; and b) the execution of pre-established games, for which the coaches prefer to teach by the technique approach and through game situations. It is concluded that the use of the technique approach to teach individual and collective content limits the decision-making ability of players, and that the increased use of other approaches promotes a different understanding of the logic of the game. These aspects constitute a major point of tension because these coaches work within the school context.

Resumo O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a opinião de treinadores de handebol de equipes escolares sobre os conteúdos ofensivos e os métodos de ensino preconizados por esses. Entrevistas semiestruturadas foram realizadas com onze treinadores, cujos depoimentos foram analisados com base no método do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. Os principais conteúdos individuais se referiram a) a executar bem os fundamentos e os meios táticos; e b) à evolução organizacional do jogo. Para o ensino desses conteúdos os treinadores apropriam-se majoritariamente do método tecnicista. Já os conteúdos coletivos identificados foram a) a orientação espacial e observação do ambiente; e b) a execução de jogadas ensaiadas, para as quais os treinadores relatam preferir a utilização dos métodos tecnicista e situacional. Conclui-se que a utilização do método tecnicista para o ensino dos conteúdos individuais e coletivos limita a capacidade de tomada de decisão dos jogadores, ao passo que um maior espaço dedicado aos demais métodos (de característica interacionista) promove uma compreensão diferente da lógica do jogo. Tais apontamentos constituem-se como um ponto maior de tensão pelo fato de os treinadores atuarem no contexto escolar.

Abstract Aims: This study aimed to analyze the influences of social isolation on the professional performance of Brazilian handball coaches and their expectations for the return of training sessions. Methods: Fifty-two handball coaches participated in this study (Mage=37.4 years; SDage=8.4), who coach U-8 to adult teams, and answered an online survey divided into two main sections: a) coaches’ actions with athletes and/or teams throughout social isolation; b) professional learning during social isolation. Descriptive statistics were used for quantitative data analysis and Thematic Analysis for qualitative data analysis. Results: The coaches mentioned that the contact with the teams has been made mostly with WhatsApp (94.2%) and Google Meet or Zoom (75.0%), in which coaches mainly emphasize physical fitness (69.2%) and tactical knowledge (67.3%). For professional learning, coaches are participating in online lectures (96.2%), and virtual meetings (92.3%). Coaches also seek content mainly related to teaching approaches (82.7%), and specific handball exercises (75.0%). Regarding expectations after the social isolation, coaches reported concern about uncertainties for sports practice (restriction of physical contact, decreased incentives for teams, and competitions) and possible psychological benefits (motivation to practice, overcoming difficulties, and learning new resources). Conclusion: The coaches revealed the concern about maintaining the athletes’ performance during the social isolation, the uncertainties for the future of the teams, and the difficulties to use different resources for training. We suggested that the courses for coaches emphasize aspects that enable the learning of new technologies (e.g. social networks, video edition, and research platforms).

ABSTRACT The aim of this work was to analyze the training process of handball players, based on the coaches' opinions regarding the categories and the reasons considered preponderant for their specialization. Six coaches were interviewed, whose speeches were analyzed based on the Collective Subject Discourse method. From the coaches' speeches and the comparisons with different authors, the specialization of the goalkeepers should preferably take place in the u-16 teams, while the specialization of court players in the u-18 teams. The results shows an important guideline for the specialization of handball players in a long term context, with different prerogatives for goalkeepers and court players, but considering environments with sampling practices.

RESUMO O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar o processo de formação de jogadoras de handebol, a partir das opiniões de treinadores em relação às categorias e aos motivos considerados preponderantes para a especialização dessas. Para isso foram entrevistados seis treinadores, cujos depoimentos foram analisados com base no método do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. A partir dos discursos dos treinadores e da interlocução com diferentes autores aponta-se que, em uma perspectiva de longo prazo, a especialização das goleiras deve ocorrer preferencialmente na categoria sub-16, ao passo que a especialização das jogadoras de quadra na categoria sub-18. Os resultados indicam uma importante diretriz para a especialização de jogadoras de handebol em longo prazo, com diferentes prerrogativas para as goleiras e para as jogadoras de quadra, porém considerando ambientes de prática variada.

RESUMEN El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar el proceso de formación de jugadoras de balonmano, desde los puntos de vista de los entrenadores sobre las categorías y las razones pertinentes para la especialización de éstas. Seis entrenadores fueron entrevistados, cuyas declaraciones fueran analizadas en base al método del Discurso del Sujeto Colectivo. A partir de los discursos de los entrenadores y el diálogo con los diferentes autores señala que, en una perspectiva a largo plazo, la especialización de las porteras deber ocurrir preferentemente en la categoría sub-16, mientras que la especialización de las jugadoras de campo en la categoría sub-18. Los resultados indican una directriz importante para la especialización de las jugadoras de balonmano en el largo plazo con diferentes justificaciones para las porteras y las jugadoras de campo, pero teniendo en cuenta los diversos entornos de la práctica.

Abstract Aim: To assess the frequency of injuries among male and female handball athletes, identifying injured anatomic parts, injury diagnostics, their severity and type. Methods: The participants were composed of 122 handball players from São Paulo state teams, being 63 male (21.2±5.3 years) and 59 female (19.9±5.3 years) athletes who were interviewed using the “Champion Profile” questionnaire. The injuries were sorted by type: acute or overuse; and severity (major, moderate, slight, minor), given by the period of absence from team activities (training sessions and matches), and our results are presented as descriptive statistics. Results: The majority of injuries was found in the lower limbs, both in female (69.6%) and male (47.4%) players, as well as the knee was the most commonly injured anatomic part, representing 33.7% and 20.8% of the total number of injuries for the respective genders. We found a higher number of major injuries in female (35.8%) and male (20.8%) players when compared to the other severity categories. The acute injuries were more common among the total sample (48%) when compared to overuse injuries (22.7%), while a sprain was the most commonly diagnosed injury. Conclusion: It was observed that Brazilian handball players demonstrated an important number of major and acute injuries, forcing them to abstain from training sessions and matches, which can lead to both team and athlete performance losses. Furthermore, we suggest the inclusion of preventive training to reduce the frequency of injuries in handball athletes.

Abstract Aim: To investigate the speeches of elite handball coaches about the current strategic-tactical configuration after the rule change that allows the use of the seventh court player in the attack. Methods: Four elite handball coaches were interviewed (semi-structured) with specific questions about the main theme of this study. Coaches’ speeches were analyzed using the Qualitative Content Analysis. Results: Three categories of analysis emerged from coaches’ discourses: 1) a general overview of the current tactical application of the seventh court player: coaches report that there is no significant change in strategic-tactical structures previously established in handball; 2) main tactical strategies from the use of the rule change: the seventh court player used, mainly, like additional player in exclusion situations to maintain the numerical equality in the offensive phase, and to numerical superiority of the attack in the final minutes by the teams that are losing; and 3) main perspectives of change in the offensive, defensive and transitions systems, in which there is a concern with the restriction of the use of defensive system with open formation. Conclusion: there were no significant strategic changes in handball in attack or defense, and the use of the additional court player was used to maintain the numerical equality in the attack in situations of exclusion and, in some specific cases, aiming at numerical superiority in final and decisive moments of matches.

Resumo Investigamos a influência do tempo de bola, da trajetória e do tipo de bola sobre a probabilidade de marcar gol na elite do goalball; e também o categorizamos em relação à trajetória e ao tipo de bola. Observamos sistematicamente vídeos de 1.341 arremessos masculinos e 1.304 femininos, de 20 partidas selecionadas aleatoriamente dos Jogos Paraolímpicos. Em ambos os sexos, a redução do tempo de bola foi associada a uma maior probabilidade de marcar um gol. Não houve associação para trajetórias ou tipos de bola. As categorias de tempo de bola propostas foram pensadas para ser uma ferramenta útil para treinadores e cientistas esportivos, pois fornecem valores de referência sobre quão rápido uma bola se move em relação a diferentes trajetórias e tipos de bola para cada gênero.

Abstract We sought to investigate the influence of ball time, ball trajectory and ball type on the probability of scoring a goal in female and male elite goalball. We also aimed to categorize throw ball time, taking into consideration ball trajectory and ball type. Systematic video analysis of 1341 male and 1304 female throws was performed on 20 randomly selected matches from the Paralympic Games. In both genders, reducing ball time was associated with an increased probability of scoring a goal, while there was no association for ball trajectories or ball types. The proposed ball time categories are thought to be a useful tool for coaches and sport scientists, as it provides reference values on how fast a ball moves regarding different ball trajectories and ball types for each gender.

Resumen Se analizó la influencia del tiempo del balón, la trayectoria y el tipo de balón en la probabilidad de marcar gol en la elite del goalball. También clasificamos el tiempo de lanzamiento del balón en relación con su trayectoria y tipo. Observamos sistemáticamente vídeos de 1.341 lanzamientos de hombres y 1.304 de mujeres de 20 partidos seleccionados al azar de los Juegos Paralímpicos. En ambos sexos, la disminución del tiempo del balón se relacionó con mayor probabilidad de marcar un gol. No hubo relación con las trayectorias o los tipos de balón. Las categorías propuestas del tiempo del balón son una herramienta útil para los entrenadores y científicos del deporte ya que ofrecen puntos de referencia para cada sexo sobre la rapidez con que un balón se mueve en relación con diferentes trayectorias y tipos de balón.

ABSTRACT The aim of this systematic review was to identify the scientific papers overview in the following themes: teaching and performance analysis of the handball goalkeeper from the year 2000 to 2017. The search process was done in scientific databases by using pre-established inclusion criteria. Based in these criteria, 32 papers were selected and analysed in the end of this search process. The results showed a recent interest in the themes researched, especially in the Spanish literature, presenting a majority preference for the quantitative research involving adults goalkeepers with international competitive experience. In addition, it seems to be more interest research the factors related with performance analysis of handball goalkeepers when compared with the factors related to their teaching process. In the performance analysis papers, there are a great interest in the study of the effectiveness in game of the handball goalkeepers, while in the teaching papers was identified some preference for the study of the development of motor skills and the perception and anticipation capacities of the handball goalkeepers.

RESUMO O objetivo deste trabalho foi identificar o panorama de artigos científicos originais sobre as temáticas de ensino e análise de jogo do goleiro de handebol a partir do ano 2000, por meio de uma revisão sistemática. A busca pelos artigos foi feita em bases de dados indexadoras de revistas científicas a partir de critérios pré-estabelecidos. Ao final da fase de seleção, 32 artigos atenderam aos critérios de inclusão e revelaram o atual panorama das temáticas pesquisadas. Os resultados apontaram para um interesse recente nas temáticas, sobretudo na literatura espanhola, apresentando uma predominância da pesquisa quantitativa e a preferência por estudos que envolvam os goleiros adultos de alto nível de rendimento. Além disso, parece haver maior interesse pelos artigos voltados à análise de jogo quando comparados à temática de ensino. Nos artigos de análise de jogo há grande interesse na eficácia do goleiro em situação de jogo, enquanto nos artigos de ensino identificou-se a preferência por estudos sobre o desenvolvimento do repertório motor e capacidades de percepção e antecipação do goleiro de handebol.

RESUMEN El objetivo de este trabajo fue identificar el panorama de artículos científicos originales sobre las temáticas de enseñanza y análisis de juego del portero de balonmano a partir del año 2000, por medio de una revisión sistemática. La búsqueda por los artículos se realizó en bases de datos indexadoras de revistas científicas a partir de criterios preestablecidos. Al final de la fase de selección, 32 artículos atendieron a los criterios de inclusión y revelaron el actual panorama de las temáticas investigadas. Los resultados apuntaron a un interés reciente en las temáticas, sobre todo en la literatura española, presentando un predominio de la investigación cuantitativa y la preferencia por estudios con porteros adultos de alto nivel de rendimiento. Además, parece haber mayor interés por los artículos de análisis de juego en comparación con la enseñanza. En los artículos de análisis de juego hay gran interés en la eficacia del portero en situación de juego, mientras que en los artículos de enseñanza se identificó la preferencia por estudios sobre el desarrollo del repertorio motor y capacidades de percepción y anticipación del portero de balonmano.

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to identify and to analyze the structuring aspects of the offensive phase of beach handball, specifically in positional attack, from the coaches' perspective. Five coaches were interviewed (semi-structured) who participated in at least one stage of the São Paulo circuit of beach handball. Speeches were analyzed based on the Collective Subject Discourse method. The results revealed that the numerical asymmetry is the basis of the offensive game structure, induced by the presence of the goalkeeper as a court player. This player also influences the choice of offensive system. It is concluded that a) the structuring of the offensive phase occurs in a hierarchical way; and b) this study can help coaches and researchers for a better understanding of this sport.

RESUMO O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar e analisar os aspectos estruturantes da fase ofensiva do handebol de areia, em especial do ataque posicionado, a partir da perspectiva dos treinadores. Foram entrevistados cinco treinadores (entrevista semiestruturada) que participaram de ao menos uma etapa do circuito paulista de handebol de areia. Os discursos foram analisados com base no método do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. Os resultados revelaram que a assimetria numérica é a base da estrutura do jogo ofensivo, pautada na presença do especialista, o qual também influencia a composição dos sistemas ofensivos. Conclui-se que a) a estruturação da fase ofensiva do handebol de areia se dá de forma hierarquizada; e b) este estudo pode auxiliar na compreensão desse JCE por treinadores e pesquisadores da área.

RESUMEN El objetivo de este estudio fue identificar y analizar los aspectos estructurantes de la fase ofensiva del balonmano playa, en especial del ataque posicional, desde la perspectiva de los entrenadores. Se entrevistaron cinco entrenadores (entrevistas semiestructuradas) que participaron de al menos una etapa del circuito paulista de balonmano playa. Los discursos fueron analizados con base en el método del Discurso del Sujeto Colectivo. Los resultados revelaron que la asimetría numérica es la base de la estructura del juego ofensivo, provocada por la presencia del doble portero, que también influye en la elección del sistema ofensivo. Se concluye que a) la estructuración de la fase ofensiva del balonmano playa se da de forma jerarquizada; y b) este estudio puede subsidiar a los entrenadores e investigadores para una mejor comprensión de este deporte.
