Abstract O modelo de educação nas últimas décadas passou por mudanças consideráveis do ponto de vista didático. Com o avanço da tecnologia, a velocidade de obtenção de informações aumenta e o uso de ferramentas que permitem a visualização dinâmica de conteúdos torna-se um forte aliado ao processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Este trabalho trata da criação de uma ferramenta interativa para visualizar a propagação de ondas de tensão em uma linha de transmissão similar ao que acontece à transmissão e reflexão de ondas eletromagnéticas que incidem em meios dielétricos diferentes, permitindo a inserção de dados pelo usuário, a fim de facilitar a consolidação do conhecimento. O modelo foi criado a partir do GUIDE do MATLAB, que possui uma interface gráfica com botões de ação que ao serem clicados executam ações como calcular e exibir o gráfico animado. É importante ressaltar que a criação do programa, além de facilitar o entendimento, também permite maior familiarização com o software de simulação computacional e com os parâmetros utilizados na análise transitória de linhas de transmissão. Assim, a análise dos transitórios de ondas de tensão em linhas de transmissão, que consiste em uma difícil área de aprendizagem, devido ao seu caráter teórico, torna-se de fácil assimilação com o uso dessa ferramenta didático-computacional.

Abstract The model of education in the last decades has undergone considerable changes from a didactic point of view. With the advancement of technology, the speed of getting information increases and the use of tools that allow the dynamic visualization of contents becomes a strong ally to the teaching-learning process. This work deals with the creation of an interactive tool to visualize the propagation of voltage waves in a transmission line similar to what happens to the transmission and reflection of electromagnetic waves that affect different dielectric means, allowing the insertion of data by the user, to facilitate the consolidation of knowledge. We created the model from the MATLAB GUIDE, which has a graphical interface with action buttons that, when clicked, perform actions such as calculating and displaying the animated graphic. It is important to emphasize that the creation of the program, besides facilitating the understanding, also allows greater familiarization with the computer simulation software and with the parameters used in the transient analysis of transmission lines. Thus, the analysis of transients of voltage waves in transmission lines, which comprises a difficult learning area, for its theoretical nature, becomes easy to assimilate with the use of this didactic-computational tool.

RESUMO: Neste texto centramo-nos na realidade de Portugal, um dos atores centrais do infame comércio transatlântico de sujeitos escravizados e dos processos coloniais que definiram o mundo moderno. A partir da realidade portuguesa, sinalizamos a urgência de convocar a história colonial e seus legados de modo a confrontar as narrativas eurocêntricas que insistem em pensar a Europa a partir de visões benignas que a retratam ingenuamente como a casa dos direitos humanos e da democracia. A partir desta análise, avaliamos o potencial impacto, em Portugal, dos pressupostos que dão corpo à Década Internacional de Afrodescendentes para confrontar e denunciar um sistema educativo que, até hoje, tem no silenciamento das questões étnico-raciais o dispositivo central de reprodução das desigualdades raciais que marcam a sociedade como um todo.

ABSTRACT: In this article we focus on Portugal, one of the central actors of the infamous transatlantic slave trade and of the colonial processes that defined the modern world. From the Portuguese reality, we signal the urgency of summoning colonial history and its legacies to confront the Eurocentric narratives that insist on thinking of Europe through benevolent visions that portray it, naively, as the homeland of human rights and democracy. Based on this analysis, we assess the potential impact in Portugal of the action plan brought about by the International Decade of Afro-descendants. Particularly, we confront and denounce an educational system that, until this day, actively produces the silencing of racial issues leading to the reproduction of the racial inequalities that mark Portuguese society as a whole.

RESUMO: Objetivando conhecer a situação da tuberculose ovina no Maranhão, avaliaram-se 343 ovinos da região sudoeste do estado, 247 fêmeas e 96 machos, com idade acima de 6 meses, por meio do teste cervical comparativo (TCC), com inoculação de tuberculinas na região cervical direita. Cranialmente, injetou-se derivado proteico purificado (PPD) aviário; e caudalmente, PPD bovino, em doses individuais de 0,1 mL. Todos os animais apresentaram resultado negativo para tuberculose, entretanto, 65 ovinos apresentaram reação à tuberculina bovina superior à aviária. Para investigar a possibilidade de baixa sensibilização ou anergia em animais com tuberculose avançada, foi necropsiado um ovino caquético, idade acima de quatro anos, com resultado negativo ao TCC, porém, com reação à tuberculina aviária e linfonodos aumentados com consistência endurecida. Os resultados indicaram infecções por C. pseudotuberculosis, Actinomyces pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus e Mycobacterium sp. A cultura e o isolamento resultaram em Pseudomonas aeruginosas e Bacillus sp. Não foram visualizadas estruturas bacterianas compatíveis com bacilo álcool ácido resistente (BAAR). Os resultados confirmam ausência de animais reagentes ao M. bovis, pressupondo inexistência da tuberculose em ovinos na região estudada.

ABSTRACT: In order to know the situation of ovine tuberculosis in Maranhão, Brazil, we evaluated 343 sheep in the southwest region of the state, of both sexes (247 females and 96 males), aged over six months, through the comparative cervical test (TCC), with tuberculin inoculation in the right cervical region. Cranially, avian purified protein derivate (PPD) was injected; and caudally, beef PPD was injected, in individual doses of 0.1 mL. All animals were negative for tuberculosis; however, 65 sheep had higher reactions to bovine tuberculin than to the avian one. To investigate the possibility of low awareness or anergy in animals with advanced tuberculosis, one cachectic sheep was necropsied, aged four years, with negative results for TCC, but with reaction to avian tuberculin and enlarged hardened lymph nodes. The results indicated C. pseudotuberculosis, Actinomyces pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus and Mycobacterium sp infections. Culture and isolation resulted in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacillus sp. No bacterial structures compatible with acid-fast bacteria were found. The results confirmed the absence of animals reactive to M. bovis, assuming no tuberculosis in sheep in the study area.

RESUMO Propôs-se, com este estudo, avaliar o crescimento e a produtividade agrícola e industrial da cana-de-açúcar influenciada por fontes, doses e formas de aplicação de fósforo. O experimento foi conduzido na Usina Paisa, Penedo - AL, no período de fevereiro de 2012 a fevereiro de 2013. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de blocos casualizados em arranjo fatorial, com quatro repetições. Os tratamentos consistiram de cinco doses de superfosfato triplo P2O5 (0, 50, 100, 150 e 200 kg ha-1 de P2O5) aplicadas no sulco de plantio e três doses de P2O5 (0, 100 e 200 kg ha-1) com a fonte fosfato natural reativo Bayóvar, aplicado em área total. O fósforo aplicado no sulco de plantio promoveu melhorias na qualidade da cana-de-açúcar pela redução da fibra e do aumento da pureza, do pol da cana corrigido, do açúcar total recuperável e açúcar provável por hectare (TPH) além de ter aumentado a produtividade de colmos por hectare (TCH). O fosfato natural reativo proporcionou acréscimos no diâmetro do colmo aos 120 dias após o plantio (DAP), TPH e TCH. A interação superfosfato triplo no sulco de plantio x fosfato natural reativo em área total exerceu efeitos significativos na população de perfilhos aos 30 DAP, diâmetro do colmo aos 120 DAP e TCH.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to evaluate sugarcane growth and its agricultural and industrial yield influenced by phosphorus (P) sources and forms of application. The experiment was carried out at the Paisa Sugar Mill, in Penedo-AL, Brazil, from February 2012 to February 2013. The adopted experimental design was a randomized block in a factorial arrangement, with four replicates. The treatments consisted of five doses of triple superphosphate applied in the planting furrow (0, 50, 100, 150 and 200 kg ha-1 of P2O5), and three doses of Bayóvar reactive phosphate rock (0, 100 and 200 kg ha-1 of P2O5) applied in the total area. Phosphorus applied in the planting furrow improved sugarcane quality through the reduction of fiber and increases in purity, corrected pol, total recoverable sugar, ton of pol per hectare (TPH) and ton of sugarcane per hectare (TSH). The Bayóvar reactive phosphate rock promoted increases in stem diameter at 120 days after planting (DAP), TPH and TSH. For the interaction triple superphosphate applied in the planting furrow x Bayóvar reactive phosphate rock applied in the total area, there were significant differences in the number of tillers at 30 DAP, stem diameter at 120 DAP and TSH.

A diagnose foliar é um dos métodos mais utilizados para se avaliar a demanda de nutrientes na cultura da cana-de-açúcar, contribuindo para um manejo melhor de fertilizantes. Objetivou-se avaliar o estado nutricional de variedades de cana-de-açúcar através da análise foliar e a mensuração dos teores foliares de macro e micronutrientes. Foram avaliadas as seguintes variedades: RB92579, RB867515, SP81-3250, VAT90-212, VAT90-61, SP83-2847, RB863129, RB931011, RB931566 e RB855113, em dois tipos de solo: Argisssolo Amarelo Distrocoeso Fragipânico (PAdx1) e Argisssolo Amarelo Distrocoeso Abrúptico Fragipânico (PAdx2) na Usina Cansanção de Sinimbú, Jequia da Praia-AL. O delineamento foi o de blocos casualizados arranjado em um fatorial de 2 x 10 consistindo de 10 variedades e quatro repetições para cada solo em estudo, quando foram avaliados os seguintes nutrientes: N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Zn, Fe, Mn, Cu e B. O PAdx2 foi o solo que disponibilizou, às plantas, maior quantidade de nutrientes em relação aos nutrientes P, Ca, Mg, Zn e Fe. A variedade SP81-3250 apresentou o melhor desempenho quanto ao teor foliar de nutrientes (K, S, Fe, Mn e Cu) seguida pela RB931011, VAT90-61 e RB867515.

Leaf diagnosis is one of the methods used to evaluate the demand of fertilizers in sugarcane, thus contributing for a better fertilizer management. The objective of this study was to evaluate the nutritional status of sugarcane varieties through the leaf analysis and mensuration of macro and micronutrients. The following sugarcane varieties were studied: RB92579, RB867515, SP81-3250, VAT90-212, VAT90-61, SP83-2847, RB863129, RB931011, RB931566 and RB855113, on two types of Urtisols: Dystrocohesive Yellow Argisol (PAdx1) and Dystrocohesive Abruptic Yellow Argisol (PAdx2) at Cansanção de Sinimbú Plant, Alagoas, Brazil. The experimental design was a randomized block design, arranged in a 2 x 10 factorial, consisting of ten varieties and four repetitions for each soil, where the following nutrients were evaluated: N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Zn, Fe, Mn, Cu and B. The PAdx2 was the soil that provided the highest amount of nutrients for plants (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Zn, Fe, Mn, Cu and B). The SP8132-50 variety showed the best performance regarding the concentration of nutrient in leaf (K, S, Fe, Mn and Cu), followed by RB931011, VAT90-61 and RB867515.
