RESUMO Objetivo: caracterizar a Rede Cegonha na atenção à saúde ao bebê de alto risco, apontando seus principais desafios. Método: questionários foram aplicados com os responsáveis pelos bebês e com os profissionais de saúde da rede. Os dados foram analisados quantitativamente. Resultados: as variáveis estatisticamente relevantes foram: vínculo com a Unidade Básica de Saúde; conhecimento dos indivíduos sobre a equipe Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família; ciência das equipes de Saúde da Família quanto ao diagnóstico de gravidez de risco e adesão ao pré-natal; via de comunicação do nascimento dos indivíduos; ciência quanto à necessidade de internação hospitalar, bem como sua duração; conhecimento sobre acompanhamento na Atenção Secundária à Saúde; e o desfecho do mesmo, apontando para uma dificuldade no eixo da coordenação e longitudinalidade dos serviços prestados na rede. Conclusão os maiores desafios estão na cobertura do território pelas equipes de estratégia de Saúde da Família, na ampliação de equipes e na solidificação das parcerias com as Instituições de Ensino Superior, garantindo uma formação profissional diferenciada.

ABSTRACT Objective: To characterize the Stork Network in health care for high-risk babies, pointing out its main challenges. Method: questionnaires were applied with those responsible for the babies and with network health professionals. Data were analyzed quantitatively. Results: statistically relevant variables were: link with the Basic Health Unit; individuals’ awareness of Family Health Support Center team; awareness of Family Health teams regarding the diagnosis of high-risk pregnancy and compliance with prenatal care; means of communication of individuals’ birth; awareness of the need for hospitalization as well as its duration; awareness of follow-up in Secondary Health Care; and its outcome, pointing to a difficulty in the axis of coordination and longitudinality of the services provided in the network. Conclusion: the greatest challenges lie in covering the territory by Family Health strategy teams, expanding teams and solidifying partnerships with Higher Education Institutions, guaranteeing a differentiated professional training.

RESUMEN Objetivo: caracterizar la Red Cigüeña en la atención a la salud de los bebés de alto riesgo, señalando sus principales desafíos. Método: se aplicaron cuestionarios con los responsables de los bebés y con los profesionales de salud de la red. Los datos se analizaron cuantitativamente. Resultados: las variables estadísticamente relevantes fueron: vinculación con la Unidad Básica de Salud; conocimiento de las personas sobre el equipo de los Centros de Apoyo a la Salud de la Familia; sensibilización de los equipos de Salud de la Familia sobre el diagnóstico del embarazo de alto riesgo y la adherencia al control prenatal; medio de comunicación del nacimiento de las personas; conciencia de la necesidad de hospitalización, así como de su duración; conocimientos sobre seguimiento en Atención Secundaria de Salud; y su resultado, apuntando a una dificultad en el eje de coordinación y longitudinalidad de los servicios prestados en la red. Conclusión: los mayores desafíos están en la cobertura del territorio por los equipos de la estrategia de Salud de la Familia, en la ampliación de los equipos y en la consolidación de alianzas con Instituciones de Educación Superior, garantizando una formación profesional diferenciada.

Resumo O conteúdo de água do tronco é um componente importante do balanço hídrico diário, pois as reservas nos tecidos das árvores podem fornecer água às folhas quando a transpiração é intensa, mas como esta varia ao longo das estações de chuvas ainda é desconhecido. O objetivo deste estudo foi determinar a variação do conteúdo de água da madeira e da casca e o crescimento do tronco em resposta às variáveis microclimáticas em três espécies arbóreas amazônicas. Árvores de Protium apiculatum, Lecythis prancei e Rinorea paniculata (DAP ≥ 10 cm) foram selecionadas em uma floresta da Amazônia central. Dados de conteúdo de água da madeira (WWC) e da casca (BWC) foram obtidos na estação seca e chuvosa. O crescimento do tronco foi medido em intervalos mensais usando fitas dendrométricas durante 24 meses. Os dados de precipitação, temperatura do ar e irradiância também foram registrados, e o efeito da variabilidade microclimática sobre o crescimento do tronco avaliado. O WWC não variou entre as estações (p = 0,28), mas o BWC aumentou na estação chuvosa (p = 0,07), principalmente em R. paniculata. Embora o crescimento das árvores tenha variado intra-anualmente (p < 0,01), nenhuma das variáveis microclimáticas investigadas o afetaram significativamente (p = 0,97). Este trabalho mostra que em um ano de chuva típica, a variabilidade climática não é grande o suficiente para causar variação significativa no crescimento do tronco das árvores, mesmo quando a sazonalidade das chuvas pode causar variação no conteúdo de água da casca.

Abstract Stem water content is an important component of daily water balance, as water reserves in tree tissues can provide water to leaves when transpiration is intense, but how it varies over rainfall seasons is still unknown. The purpose of this study was to determine the variation of wood and bark water content and stem growth in response to microclimatic variability in three Amazonian species. Trees of Protium apiculatum, Lecythis prancei, and Rinorea paniculata (DBH ≥ 10 cm) were selected in a central Amazon forest. Wood water content (WWC) and bark water content (BWC) data were obtained in the dry and rainy season. Stem growth was measured at monthly intervals using dendrometric tapes during 24 months. Rainfall, air temperature and irradiance data were also recorded, and the effect of microclimatic variability on stem growth evaluated. WWC did not vary between seasons (p = 0.28), but BWC increased in the wet season (p = 0.07), particularly in R. paniculata. Although stem growth varied intra-annually (p < 0.01), none of the climatic variables investigated had a significant effect on stem growth (p = 0.97). This work shows that in a typical rainfall year, climatic variability is not large enough to cause significant variation in stem growth, even when rainfall seasonality may cause variation in bark water content.

RESUMO Objetivo: avaliar a segurança, a eficácia, as complicações e a qualidade de vida da alta precoce e acompanhamento ambulatorial de pacientes com derrames pleurais benignos submetidos à drenagem pleural com dreno de Wayne (DW). Método: estudo prospectivo, em que foram avaliados 47 pacientes entre julho de 2017 e outubro de 2018. Foram incluídos os pacientes com derrames pleurais não malignos, submetidos a drenagem pleural com evolução clínica compatível com o cuidado ambulatorial. Foram excluídos os pacientes submetidos a drenagem por outras afecções. Resultados: após a drenagem, a média do tempo de internação dos pacientes foi de 3,14 (±3,85) dias, sendo que 21 pacientes (44,68%) tiveram alta em até 24 horas após a drenagem. O tempo médio de permanência com o dreno foi de 12,63 (±7,37) dias. A análise do líquido pleural mostrou tratar-se de transudato em 87,3% dos casos e de exsudato em 12,3%. Dentre as causas do derrame pleural, destacaram-se insuficiência cardíaca (72,3%), insuficiência renal (19,1%), hepatopatias (6,3%) e pneumonias (8,5%). A qualidade de vida, analisada segundo os parâmetros do questionário SF 36, teve valores médios baixos, principalmente em relação a outros estudos. Na análise de cada descritor, a média apresentou-se maior somente na limitação por aspectos físicos. Nos demais descritores, os resultados foram semelhantes, mas menores. Conclusão: o uso ambulatorial de cateteres pleurais do tipo Wayne (pigtail) mostrou-se factível, seguro e com baixa taxa de infecções associadas. Trata-se de opção viável para pacientes selecionados.

ABSTRACT Objective: to assess safety, efficacy and quality of life in patients with benign pleural effusions undergong pleural drainage with Wayne pleural catheter (DW) in an outpatient setting. Method: this is a prospective study, in which 47 patients were evaluated between July 2017 and October 2018. Patients with non-malignant pleural effusions underwent pleural drainage with clinical evolution compatible with outpatient care were included. Patients who underwent drainage due to other conditions and patients were excluded. Results: after catheter placement, the mean length of hospital stay was 3.14 (± 3.85) days, and 21 patients (44.68%) were discharged within 24 hours. The mean time with the catheter was 12.63 (± 7.37) days. The analysis of the pleural fluid was transudate in 87.3% of cases and exudate in 12.3%. The causes of pleural effusion were heart failure (72.3%), renal failure (19.1%), liver failure (6.3%) and pneumonia (8.5%). The quality of life, analyzed according to the parameters of the questionnaire SF 36, showed low average values when compared to other studies. Analyzing each descriptor, the average was greater only in the limitation related to physical aspects. In the other descriptors, the results were similar, but smaller. Conclusion: the outpatient use of pleural catheters of the Wayne type (pigtail) proved to be feasible, safe and with a low associated infection rate. This is a viable option for selected patients.

RESUMO O conhecimento sobre a resposta das árvores à variação microclimática é importante em face das mudanças climáticas. Os objetivos deste estudo foram examinar a variação do conteúdo de água da madeira (WWC) e do conteúdo de água da casca (BWC) em árvores amazônicas, bem como avaliar o efeito da variabilidade microclimática sobre as taxas de crescimento diamétrico (DGR). Extraímos uma amostra do tronco de 120 árvores (28 espécies) e determinamos WWC e BWC na base da matéria fresca. As medições de DGR foram realizadas mensalmente durante os 12 meses de 2007. O efeito da variabilidade microclimática sobre o crescimento das árvores foi avaliado por meio de análise de redundância. Os valores médios de BWC e WWC foram 53,4% e 34,7%, respectivamente, com uma grande variação no conteúdo de água dos tecidos entre as espécies (BWC = 36,2−67,1%; WWC = 26,4−50,8%). Não houve relação significativa entre o diâmetro do tronco e WWC ou BWC, nem entre DGR e densidade da madeira (p > 0,05). Entretanto, a densidade da madeira foi negativamente correlacionada com WWC (r s = −0,69, p < 0,001). O alto valor de BWC enfatiza a importância dos tecidos da casca em árvores da Amazônia. Contrariando as expectativas, a variabilidade mensal da irradiância, precipitação e temperatura não afetou DGR (p > 0,20). A ausência de resposta da DGR à variabilidade microclimática, mesmo em um ano chuvoso acima da média como 2007, indica que outras partes da árvore podem ter maior prioridade do que o tronco para alocação de carbono durante a época seca.

ABSTRACT The knowledge of how trees respond to microclimate variability is important in the face of climate changes. The objectives of this study were to examine the variation in wood water content (WWC) and bark water content (BWC) in Amazonian trees, as well as to assess the effect of microclimatic variability on monthly diameter growth rates (DGR). We extracted a core sample from each of 120 trees (28 species) and determined WWC and BWC on a fresh matter basis. DGR was measured monthly during the 12 months of 2007. The effect of microclimatic variability on DGR was analyzed by redundancy analysis. Average BWC and WWC were 53.4% and 34.7%, respectively, with a large variation in stem water content among species (BWC = 36.2−67.1%; WWC = 26.4−50.8%). There was no significant relationship between stem diameter and WWC or BWC, nor between DGR and wood density (p > 0.05). However, wood density was negatively correlated with WWC (r s = −0.69, p < 0.001). The high BWC emphasizes the importance of the bark tissue in Amazonian trees. Contrary to expectations, variability of monthly irradiance, rainfall and temperature had no effect on DGR (p > 0.20). The unresponsiveness of DGR to microclimatic variability, even in an above-average rainy year such as 2007, indicates that other parts of the tree may have greater priority than the stem for carbon allocation during the dry season.

ABSTRACT Background: Along the vertical canopy profile, natural light availability is variable and may induce leaves morphophysiological changes due to phenotypic plasticity. Morphological changes in juvenile and adult leaflet of compound leaves of plant species is still poorly understood, including in woody species of gallery forests. The present study evaluated the leaflet morphophysiological characteristics and plasticity index of three woody species in canopy and understory leaves in a gallery forest. Results: All morphophysiological characteristics varied within species (Myracrodruon urundeuva Allemão, Copaifera langsdorffii Desf. and Tapirira guianensis Aubl.). The leaflets of canopy trees showed significantly higher values of petiole length (PL) and diameter (PD), leaflet thickness (fresh - FT and dry - DT), specific leaf mass (SLM), in relation to understory leaflets. On the other hand, relative water content (RWC) did not change between adult trees and saplings, except for T. guianensis. The plasticity index of leaflet characteristics varied significantly within species. Plasticity index of three morphophysiological characteristics (PL, PD and DT) varied between species. PL and PD had the highest plasticity index values across species, whereas RWC had the lowest plasticity.. Conclusion: Plasticity index of the tree species associates these leaflet morphophysiological traits (PL, PD and DT) with variations in the physical environment between strata of a gallery forest.

Abstract Faunal inventories provide quantitative and qualitative data for different sites and are relevant sources of information for identifying areas of high species richness and endemism. Biological collections are important in this context for increasing the precision of species identification. The objectives of this study were to update the list of bat species of Ilha Grande by analyzing specimens in zoological collections as well as records obtained in areas where no such studies had been undertaken before; to compare five different studies conducted on Ilha Grande using mist net sampling; and to compare the results of studies on Ilha Grande with sampling results from other areas in Rio de Janeiro state. The occurrence of 36 bat species was confirmed for Ilha Grande. Five studies on Ilha Grande formerly conducted by the authors were compared with 34 fauna inventories in Rio de Janeiro state. The studies on Ilha Grande had distinct objectives and sampling techniques applied to different locations in the same area. Ilha Grande is one of the regions in Rio de Janeiro state with more bat records both in terms of abundance and number of species, as well as one of the areas of highest bat capture effort.

Este artigo busca discutir os impasses e as possibilidades do trabalho psicanalítico no contexto da pandemia do COVID-19. Para atingir esse objetivo, iniciamos pela caracterização do que é catástrofe e por sua articulação com o conceito de trauma. Em seguida discutimos a trajetória da dor ao sofrimento em sua correlação com modos heterogêneos de destino traumático. Posteriormente, abordamos as exigências do ofício do psicanalista na atual pandemia, dando relevo ao duplo trabalho de luto com o qual o analista depara: o da passagem do setting para a modalidade online e o da pandemia. Finalmente, propomos uma maior elasticidade em nosso labor, a fim de fazer frente a um panorama inédito de nossa clínica e de nossa cultura.

This article discusses the challenges and the possibilities of psychoanalytic work in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. We begin by defining catastrophe and establishing its relation to the concept of trauma. Next, we discuss the transition from pain to suffering and its correlation to different traumatic outcomes. After that, we approach the demands of psychoanalytic work in the current pandemic context by emphasizing the psychoanalyst’s double mourning labor: one related to the shift of the presential setting to the online setting and the other one related to the pandemic. Last, to face this unprecedented clinical and cultural panorama, we suggest increasing the elasticity of our work.

Este artículo busca discutir los impases y las posibilidades del trabajo psicoanalítico en el contexto de la pandemia de COVID-19. Para lograr este objetivo, empezamos con la caracterización de la catástrofe y su articulación con el concepto de trauma. A continuación, discutiremos la trayectoria del dolor hasta el sufrimiento en su correlación con modos heterogéneos de destino traumático. Posteriormente, abordamos las demandas del trabajo del psicoanalista en la pandemia actual, enfatizando en el doble trabajo de luto al que se enfrenta el analista: el de la transición del encuadre (setting) hacia el modo en línea y el de la pandemia. Finalmente, proponemos una mayor elasticidad en nuestro trabajo para que podamos enfrentar un panorama sin precedentes en nuestra clínica y en nuestra cultura.

Cet article cherche à discuter les impasses et les possibilités du travail psychanalytique dans le contexte de la pandémie du COVID-19. Pour atteindre ce but, nous partons de la caractérisation de la catastrophe et de son articulation avec le concept du trauma. Ensuite, nous discutons le passage de la douleur à la souffrance dans son rapport avec les modalités hétérogènes du destin traumatique. Après, nous abordons les exigences de la pratique analytique dans la pandémie actuelle en mettant en évidence le double travail du deuil auquel l’analyste doit faire face : d’abord, le passage du setting au cadre virtuel, mais aussi la pandémie. Finalement, nous proposons d’élargir l’élasticité de notre activité à fin d’affronter ce panorama inédit de notre clinique et de notre culture.

Resumo Traumatismos cervicais penetrantes podem ser potencialmente fatais. Em cerca de 25% dos casos, há lesão vascular associada, que pode evoluir para fístulas arteriovenosas. Os autores apresentam um caso de correção tardia, por cirurgia aberta, de uma fístula carotídeo-jugular e fazem uma breve revisão sobre o diagnóstico e opções de tratamento dessa condição.

Abstract Penetrating neck injuries can be life threatening. In about 25% of cases there are vascular injuries, which can progress to formation of arteriovenous fistulas. The authors present a case of delayed open surgery to repair a carotid-jugular fistula and briefly review the diagnosis and treatment options for this condition.

OBJECTIVES: To compare the diagnostic accuracy of a low-cost screening test for identifying children at risk for language disorders with that of a specific language assessment. METHODS: The study was conducted during a polio vaccination campaign in basic health units in western São Paulo, Brazil. The parents/guardians of 1000 children aged between 0 and 5 years were asked to answer questions of a specific screening test. The instrument consisted of a uniform set of questions about the main milestones in language development (from 0 to 5 years of age) with scaled scores to assess responses. There were no exclusion criteria. After the screening test, the children were referred to a specific language assessment by ABFW, following a determined flow of referrals. The results obtained in the screening were compared to those obtained in the specific language assessment; then, the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and positive and negative predictive values were determined for the screening test. Children who failed the screening test also underwent an audiological evaluation. The statistical significance was set at 5%. RESULTS: The majority of the participants were aged between 4 and 5 years (21.82%) and were male (51.6%). The sensitivity and specificity values were 82.5% and 98.93%, respectively. The area under the curve was 0.907 (0.887-0.925), and the screening test showed 96% accuracy. CONCLUSIONS: The screening test showed high diagnostic efficiency in determining the risk of language disorders in children aged between 0 and 5 years.

Resumo Neste artigo, apresentamos uma pesquisa cartográfica na qual se articularam modos de vida e modos de consumir. Foram acompanhados quatro grupos com modos de vida e trabalho alternativos aos massificados: um grupo que faz teatro de rua, uma cooperativa de ciclistas que presta serviço de entregas, uma cooperativa de consumo integrada por camponeses assentados e seus parceiros e um grupo que produz comida caseira vegana. Discutimos as posições singulares desses grupos quanto ao consumo, mormente na intersecção com seus trabalhos, constituídas a partir de determinados valores libertários, ou não, de resistência ao consumo, ou não, mas que, fundamentalmente, apontaram para subjetividades que se produzem a partir de reflexões sobre como viver e como se relacionar com o consumo. Ao final, versamos sobre como os modos de consumir são uma expressão dos modos de viver, ao mesmo tempo em que os modos de consumir dão suporte às escolhas sobre o viver.

Abstract This article presents a cartographic survey in which ways of living and ways of consuming are related. Four groups in alternative ways of living and jobs were followed by this study: a group that presents street plays, a cooperative of cyclists that provides delivery services, a cooperative of consumption formed by rural landless workers and their partners, and a group that produces homemade vegan food. We discussed the unique position of these groups in terms of consumption, especially at the intersection with their jobs, comprising certain libertarian values, or not, resistance to consumption, or not, but that primarily pointed to the subjectivities which are produced from reflections on how to live and how to deal with consumption. Finally, we referred about how ways of consuming are an expression of ways of life at the same time as the ways of consuming are the bearer of the choices on living

Lonchophylla bokermanni é conhecida para três localidades na porção sul da cadeia de montanhas da Serra do Espinhaço, com todos os registros no Cerrado de Minas Gerais. Com base em registros recentes provenientes de duas localidades na Caatinga da Bahia, nordeste do Brasil, registramos a espécie na porção norte da Serra do Espinhaço. Os novos registros ampliam a distribuição da espécie em mais de 840 km, representando o primeiro registro de L. bokermanni para a Caatinga. As novas localidades reportadas estão sob grande pressão antrópica. Assim, a ampliação da distribuição não deve inibir estratégias de conservação para a espécie.

Lonchophylla bokermanni is known from three localities in the southern portion of the Serra do Espinhaço, all located in the Cerrado of Minas Gerais. Based on recent material from two localities in the Caatinga of Bahia, northeastern Brazil, we report the species occurrence in the northern portion of Serra do Espinhaço. These new records extend the species distribution by more than 840 km and represent the first records of L. bokermanni in the Caatinga biome. The localities we report here are under severe anthropic pressure, and this distribution extension should not inhibit conservation efforts for the species.

Resumo: Nos últimos anos houve um aumento no interesse em pesquisas em remanescentes de Floresta Atlântica acima de 500 m de altitude, como na Serra da Mantiqueira, a qual é considerada área prioritária para a conservação. A fauna de quirópteros na Serra da Mantiqueira ainda permanece relativamente pouco estudada, e aqui nós apresentamos uma lista de espécies de morcegos da Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural (RPPN) Cachoeira do Tombo, uma unidade de conservação privada localizada em área de Floresta Atlântica Montana na Serra da Mantiqueira. Os morcegos foram capturados com redes de neblina ao longo de trilhas e junto de um abrigo diurno. Um total de 498 indivíduos de 19 espécies de morcegos pertencentes às famílias Phyllostomidae, Vespertilionidae e Molossidae foram capturados. Phyllostomidae foram capturados somente em trilhas, Molossidae no abrigo diurno e Vespertilionidae em ambos. As curvas de acumulação de espécies não mostraram tendência de estabilização. No entanto, 80% da riqueza esperada foi amostrada e a riqueza de espécies encontrada foi similar a outros estudos previamente conduzidos na região. Diferente de outros inventários realizados na Mata Atlântica, Desmodus rotundus foi a espécie mais frequentemente capturada ao longo das trilhas. Um grande número de indivíduos de Molossus aztecus foi encontrado se abrigando em abrigo artificial, o que constitui um evento pouco usual. Adicionalmente, a coabitação dessa espécie com Molossus molossus é reportada aqui pela primeira vez. Os resultados mostram que essa área, que está inserida no mapa de conflitos ambientais do estado de Minas Gerais, possui uma rica chiropterofauna e corrobora a importância de usar redes de neblina em abrigos para aumentar a probabilidade de capturar a riqueza e abundância de morcegos insetívoros presentes na área.

Abstract: In recent years there has been an increase in research interest in remnants of Atlantic Forest above 500 m a.s.l., such as in the Serra da Mantiqueira, which is considered a priority area for conservation. The chiropterofauna of the Serra da Mantiqueira remains relatively under-studied, and here we present a list of bat species from the "Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural (RPPN) Cachoeira do Tombo", a private conservation unit located in an area of montane Atlantic Forest in the Serra da Mantiqueira. Bats were captured with mist nets along trails and near a diurnal roost. A total of 498 individuals of 19 bat species belonging to the families Phyllostomidae, Vespertilionidae and Molossidae were captured. Phyllostomidae were captured only along the trails, Molossidae were captured only in the diurnal roost and Vespertilionidae were captured in both. The species accumulation curves did not show stabilizing trends. However, 80% of the expected richness was sampled and the species richness of bats found is similar to other studies previously carried out in the region. In contrast to other inventories carried out in the Atlantic Forest, Desmodus rotundus was the species most frequently captured along the trails. A large number of individuals of Molossus aztecus sheltering in man-made structures were caught, constituting an unusual event. Additionally, here we report cohabitation of this species with Molossus molossus for the first time. Our results show that this area, which appears on the map of environmental conflicts for the state of Minas Gerais, has a rich chiropterofauna and also further corroborate the importance of using mist-nets at roosts to increase the probability of capturing the richness and abundance of insectivorous bats present in the area.

RESUMO Objetivo Caracterizar bebês de risco quanto ao perfil sociodemográfico e de saúde e descrever o acompanhamento de parte destes nas Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS), segundo diferentes modelos de gestão. Método Levantamento de dados de prontuários dos bebês de risco nascidos na região Oeste da cidade de São Paulo entre agosto de 2013 e fevereiro de 2014 em duas etapas (1 – caracterização; 2 – acompanhamento do desenvolvimento). Resultados Dos 225 indivíduos incluídos na primeira etapa, 51,1% eram do gênero feminino e 7,11% eram gemelares. Predominaram mães adolescentes (45,2%), pardas (50,56%), com ensino fundamental completo (47,60%) e solteiras (46,09%). A média de consultas pré-natais foi de 7,12. A maioria teve parto vaginal (62,21%) com idade gestacional média de 37,05 semanas. A média do Apgar foi de 7,13 no 1º minuto e 8,80 no 5º minuto. O peso médio ao nascimento foi de 2597,21 g, com 50,22% apresentando peso ≤2500g. Na segunda etapa, descreveu-se e comparou-se o acompanhamento do desenvolvimento de 55 bebês, segundo o modelo de gestão das UBS (28 em UBS/Estratégia Saúde da Família [ESF] e 27 em UBS tradicional). As UBS/ESF apresentaram maior média de consultas (p=0,006). Houve maior intervalo entre consultas nas UBS tradicionais. Da amostra, 56% não apresentaram registros referentes aos marcos de desenvolvimento. As medidas de crescimento foram registradas em maior número nas UBS/ESF. Para ambos, o número de consultas e o intervalo entre estas foram menores que o preconizado pelo Ministério da Saúde. Conclusão Ainda existem lacunas no acompanhamento ao bebê de risco, segundo as diretrizes preconizadas na Rede Cegonha.

ABSTRACT Purpose Characterize infants at risk of neurodevelopmental disorders according to sociodemographic and health profiles and describe their monitoring in Basic Health Units (UBS) under different management models. Methods Data were collected from medical records of infants at risk of neurodevelopmental disorders in the west region of the city of Sao Paulo from August 2013 to February 2014 (phase 1 – characterization; phase 2 – monitoring). Results Of the 225 individuals assessed in the first phase of the study, 51.1% were female and 7.11% were twins. Adolescent (45.2%), brown (50.56%), single (46.09%), complete primary education (47.60%) mothers were predominant. The mean number of prenatal visits was 7.12. Most mothers had vaginal delivery (62.22%) at mean gestational age of 37.05 weeks. Mean Apgar scores at the 1st and 5th minutes were 7.13 and 8.80, respectively. Mean weight at birth was 2597.21g., with 50.22% of newborns weighting ≤2500g. In its second phase, the study describes and compares the follow-up of 55 infants according to the UBS management model: 28 in UBS/“Estratégia Saúde da Família” (UBS/ESF) and 27 in traditional UBS (UBS/T). UBS/ESF presented higher mean of consultations (p=0.006). Longer interval between consultations was observed at UBS/T. No records of development milestones were found in 56% of the sample. Growth measures were better registered at UBS/ESF. In both management models, the number of consultations was smaller and the interval between them was shorter than those recommended by the Brazilian Ministry of Health. Conclusion According to the recommended guidelines of the “Rede Cegonha” public policy, gaps in the monitoring of infants at risk of neurodevelopmental disorders are still observed.

Resumo: O Parque Nacional da Serra da Bocaina (PNSB) é um grande remanescente de Mata Atlântica localizado em um hotspot de biodiversidade ameaçado, que contribui para a conectividade entre áreas protegidas na região. Apesar da importância ecológica do PNSB, a sua quiropterofauna é pobremente conhecida e nenhum inventário abrangente está disponível. O presente estudo fornece uma lista atualizada das espécies de morcegos do PNSB. O estudo de quatro anos foi baseado em uma abordagem de captura-marcação-e-recaptura em quatro localidades dentro do parque, no município de Paraty, estado do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Um total de 22 espécies de morcegos foi registrado, representando duas famílias, Phyllostomidae (n = 19 espécies) e Vespertillionidae (n = 3). Isso adiciona 14 espécies à quiropterofauna conhecida do PNSB, que é atualizada para 24 espécies, incluindo Dermanura cinerea Gervais, 1856, Platyrrhinus recifinus (Thomas, 1901) e Myotis ruber (É. Geoffroy, 1806), que são listadas como ameaçadas de extinção no estado do Rio de Janeiro. O espécime de Trinycteris nicefori (Sanborn, 1949) capturado no presente estudo representa o primeiro registro da espécie no estado do Rio de Janeiro. Esse registro expande a distribuição geográfica da espécie aproximadamente 650 km a sudeste. Inventários adicionais, particularmente em localidades de Mata Atlântica pobremente estudadas, combinados com análises de adequação, e estudos taxonômicos e biogeográficos, são urgentemente necessários para esclarecer a distribuição de muitas espécies de morcegos brasileiras, como T. nicefori.

Abstract: The Serra da Bocaina National Park (SBNP) is a large remnant of Atlantic Forest located within an endangered biodiversity hotspot, which contributes to the connectivity among protected areas in the region. Despite the ecological importance of the SBNP, its bat fauna is poorly-known, and no comprehensive inventory is available. The present study provides an updated list of the bat species found in the SBNP. The four-year study was based on a capture-mark-recapture approach at four sites within the park, in the municipality of Paraty, Rio de Janeiro state, Brazil. A total of 22 bat species were recorded, representing two families, Phyllostomidae (n = 19 species) and Vespertillionidae (n = 3). This added 14 species to the known bat fauna of the SBNP, which is hereby updated to 24 species, including Dermanura cinerea Gervais, 1856, Platyrrhinus recifinus (Thomas, 1901), and Myotis ruber (É. Geoffroy, 1806), which are listed as endangered in Rio de Janeiro state. The specimen of Trinycteris nicefori (Sanborn, 1949) captured in the present study is the first record of the occurrence of this species in Rio de Janeiro state. This record extends the geographic range of the species by approximately 650 km to the southeast. Additional inventories, in particular at poorly-studied Atlantic Forest sites, combined with environmental suitability analyses, and taxonomic and biogeographic data, are urgently required to elucidate the distribution of many Brazilian bat species, such as T. nicefori.
