ABSTRACT The status of realism in Foucault, despite being insistently elaborated, remains elliptical - in part thanks to its association with a set of propositions we could call fictionalist. By reading the texts where Foucault addresses the interarticulation of fiction, universalism and facticity, the article proposes a non-realist reading of his work, which is marked by the refusal not of the real as an object, but of its ontological evidence. Initially, it presents the insufficiencies of the interpretations that demand an ontology, such as Paul Veyne’s, as well as of those that replace it with the exceptionality of creation, such as Michel de Certeau’s, and the most promising approach to the reading proposed by Giorgio Agambem.. Next, it examines in detail the question of literature as a methodological paradigm, especially in Foucault’s references to the work of René Char. Finally, it shows in which sense the enunciation of archeogenealogy’s discourse is closer to Fichte’s (non)realism - in its unlikely encounter with Blanchot - than to Hegelian dialectics.

RESUMO O estatuto do realismo em Foucault, apesar de elaborado insistentemente, permanece elíptico - em parte graças à sua associação a proposições que poderíamos denominar ficcionalistas. Através dos textos onde Foucault aborda os nexos de pertencimento entre ficção, universalidade e facticidade, o artigo propõe uma leitura não-realista de suas pesquisas, caracterizada pela recusa não do real enquanto objeto, mas de sua evidência ontológica. Inicialmente, trata da apresentação das insuficiências das interpretações que exigem uma ontologia - como a de Paul Veyne -, bem como das que a substituem pela excepcionalidade da criação - como a de Michel de Certeau, e da aproximação mais bem-sucedida da leitura proposta por Giorgio Agambem. Em seguida, detalha a questão da literatura como paradigma metodológico, especialmente nas referências de Foucault à obra de René Char. Enfim, mostra em que sentido a enunciação do discurso da arqueogenealogia está mais próximo do (não-)realismo de Fichte - no seu improvável encontro com Blanchot - do que da dialética hegeliana.

As origens da moderna pedagogia e sua reverberação no interior das mais recentes teorias da educação nos remetem ao modelo alemão, que se articula duplamente: como prática derivada de uma série de condições socioculturais específicas e como sistema conceitual, na medida em que responde a uma nova concepção de liberdade humana surgida no limiar do pensamento moderno. Este artigo pretende avaliar os imbricamentos entre essas duas dimensões.

The origins of modern pedagogy and its reverberation within the most recent education theories leads us backwards to German model, that articulates itself in two ways: as a set of pragmatic actions, derived from a series of social and cultural conditions, and as conceptual system, as long as it responds to a new conception of human freedom that came up in the beginning of modern thought. This paper intends to evaluate the imbrications between those two dimensions.

Les origines de la pédagogie moderne et sa réverbération dans les théories les plus récentes de l'éducation nous renvoient au modèle allemand, qui s'articule doublement: comme pratique issue d'une série de conditions socio-culturelles spécifiques et comme système conceptuel, dans la mesure où il répond à une nouvelle conception de liberté humaine surgie au seuil de la pensée moderne. Cet article vise à évaluer les imbrications de ces deux dimensions.

A história da relação equívoca entre Nietzsche e Wagner revela as dimensões de sua frágil tensão, se considerada segundo os elementos com base nos quais ambos conceberam o problema da cultura e sua renovação como missão política e teórica. O presente artigo pretende, a partir da leitura de documentos testemunhais, sublinhar a distância ideológica que o filólogo e o compositor, estrategicamente, tiveram de ignorar. Mostram-se, através desta análise, as diferenças normalmente pouco abordadas entre os projetos de reforma da cultura elaborados pelos dois autores - tanto no que se refere à atuação política, quanto no que diz respeito a uma visão de mundo.

The history of the ambiguous relationship between Nietzsche and Wagner reveals all dimensions of this fragile tension when considered accordingly to the elements from which both considered the problem of culture and its renewal as political and theoretic mission. This paper intends, by reading some testimonial documents, to stress the ideological distance that both the philologist and the composer, strategically, had to ignore. The differences between their culture reform projects can, through this analysis, be demonstrated - with regards to political acting as well as to a worldview.
