Abstract Objective To explore the effect of surgical treatment and related prognostic factors for recurrent Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC) after radiotherapy and the pathological types of nasopharyngeal carcinoma insensitive to radiotherapy. Methods A total of 70 NPC patients who underwent surgery at the Department of Otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, from January 2005 to December 2020 were retrospectively included: 41 males and 29 females, aged 21-75 years, 47 patients were pathologically classified as NPC (nonkeratinizing, undifferentiated type), 10 patients as adenoid cystic carcinoma, 13 patients as other types, 45 patients had received radiotherapy preoperatively, and 25 patients had not received radiotherapy preoperatively. All patients underwent surgical treatment under general anesthesia. Fifty-six patients underwent nasoendoscopic NPC resection, seven patients underwent open surgery, and seven patients underwent combined nasoendoscopic and open surgery. The median follow-up was 39 months. Tumor volume, extent of involvement, lymph node metastasis, imaging characteristics, surgical approach and efficacy, postoperative complications, and 2-, 3-, and 5-year postoperative survival rates were calculated for all patients. Statistical analysis was performed using spss22 Kaplan Meier survival analysis and Cox regression analysis were performed. Results Among the 70 patients, the overall 2-year survival rate was 93.4%, the 3-year survival rate was 90.8%, and the 5-year survival rate was 80.3%. Multivariate analysis showed that TNM stage and age at onset were independent prognostic factors for NPC outcome. Conclusion Depending on the size and location of the tumor, endoscopic surgery, open surgery, and combined open surgery with nasoendoscopy may be considered for recurrent and radiotherapy insensitive NPC. As one of the most important types of evidence at the scene of the crime, the rapid identification of the human bloodstain is of great significance to solve the criminal case. In this paper, the spectral data of different species of bloodstain samples including human, chicken and pig were acquired by using a hand-held near-infrared spectrometer. Abstract Histone deacetylase 9 (HDAC9) is a histone deacetylase (HDAC) subtype IIa protein that deacetylates histone 3 (H3), histone 4 (H4), and nonhistone proteins in vivo to alter chromosomal shape and regulate gene transcription. There have been few studies on the regulatory influence of the HDAC9 gene on the differentiation of chicken embryonic stem cells (cESCs) into male germ cells, and the significance of HDAC9 is still unknown. Therefore, we explored the specific role of HDAC9 during differentiation of the cESCs of Jilin Luhua chickens through inhibition or overexpression. In medium supplemented with 10-5 mol/L retinoic acid (RA), cESCs were stimulated to develop into germ cells. HDAC9 and germline marker gene mRNA and protein levels were measured using qRT‒PCR and western blotting. The properties of a hot-deformed component can be enhanced by planning its forming process within the desired thermal processing-parameter windows associated with dynamic recrystallization (DRX). In order to determine the windows of 40Cr10Si2Mo steel, hot compression tests were employed within the deformation conditions of 1173-1398 K and 0.01-10 s-1. Following this, the hot processing maps, which distinguished the parameter domains with stable plastic deformation, were established according to the stress-strain data. The DRX domains were further identified within the stable deformation domains and represented as a map illustrating the deformation mechanisms of this steel. The deformation activation energy, which describes the forming difficulty degree of material, was calculated, and its evolution map with parameters was constructed. The deformed microstructures were characterized utilizing a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to verify the deformation mechanism map. An enhanced processing map which superimposed the activation energy map over the deformation mechanism map, was developed. The resulting map facilitated the determination of optimal windows that ensure DRX mechanism and lower activation energy. Abstract Objective: The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of activity-based locomotor training (ABLT) on motor function and walking ability in children with spinal cord injury (SCI). Materials and methods: The Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, WanFang, VIP, PubMed, and Web of Science databases were searched for related studies, with two reviewers subsequently evaluating the literature quality using the Cochrane Handbook. Results: A total of 11 studies were eligible, while only one met the ABLT standard program criteria. Overall, ABLT significantly improved the lower limb motor function, increased walking speed and distance, and improved the daily living ability of children with SCI. Conclusions: The ABLT strategy is of great significance to the motor function and walking ability of children with SCI. At present, there exist few studies on the application of ABLT for pediatric SCI. Further control studies with a larger sample size are required to improve the ABLT program guidelines for children with SCI.

Resumen Objetivo: Discuta el impacto del entrenamiento ejercicio basado en la actividad en la lesión de la médula espinal en la función de movimiento de los niños y la capacidad de caminar. Materials y métodos: Según China Zhiwang, Wanfang, VIP, PubMed, Science Network y otros documentos relacionados como fuente de datos. Dos revisores usan calidad de evaluación manual de Cochrane. Resultados: Un total de 11 estudios cumplen con las condiciones. Solo hay un estudio que cumple con los proyectos estándar de ABLT. General, ABLT mejora significativamente la función de los niños con lesiones de la médula espinal, aumenta la velocidad y la distancia de caminar y mejora la capacidad de la vida diaria. Conclusión: La estrategia ABLT es de gran importancia para la función de movimiento de los niños de la médula espinal y la capacidad de caminar. En la actualidad, ABLT tiene menos investigación en lesión pediátrica de la médula espinal. Abstract Objectives: This study aimed to compare progression-free survival, overall survival, clinical benefits, and adverse effects in postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive and HER2-negative breast cancer who received buparlisib plus fulvestrant against those of women who received dalpiciclib plus fulvestrant, considering ribociclib plus letrozole treatment as the reference standard. Methods: Women received buparlisib plus fulvestrant (BF cohort, n = 108), dalpiciclib plus fulvestrant (DF cohort, n = 132), or ribociclib plus letrozole (RL cohort, n = 150) until unacceptable toxicity was observed. Results: A total of 117 (89 %), 80 (74 %), and 84 (56 %) women in the BF, DF, and RL cohorts, respectively, had clinical benefits. After treatment, the clinical benefits for women and after 42 months of follow-up progression-free survival and overall survival were higher in the DF cohort than in the BF and RL cohorts (p < 0.05 for all). Neutropenia, vomiting, constipation, nausea, diarrhea, and anorexia were reported higher in women of the DF and BF cohorts than in women of the RL cohort. Leukopenia and increased levels of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase were reported to be higher in women in the RL cohort than in women in the DF and BF cohorts. Depression, anxiety, and increased levels of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase were reported to be higher in women in the BF cohort than in women in the DF and RL cohorts. Conclusions: Dalpiciclib plus fulvestrant is effective and comparatively safe in postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive and HER2-negative breast cancers. ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to assess the effect of Suanzaoren decoction on stress response of horses in transportation. A total of six male Ili horses were equally divided into Suanzaoren decoction treatment group (n = 3; basal diet supplemented with Suanzaoren decoction, three times/day) and control group (n = 3; basal diet, three times/day). After feeding for five days, all horses were transported for 8 h to simulate stress. Blood and serum samples were obtained before transport (BT), during transport (T), and after transport (AT). Abstract A Qingzhi compound-flavor Baijiu (QZCF Baijiu) was developed and the physiochemical factors and microbial community structure in Jiupei (fermented grains) during Baijiu fermentation were revealed. Physiochemical factors of ethanol, moisture and acidity significantly increased in the fermentation, while starch and reducing sugar decreased. The results of high-throughput sequencing showed that Weissella, Pediococcus, Bacillus, Pantoea, Streptococcus, Sphingobacterium, Saccharomyces, Rhizopus, Issatchenkia and Wickerhamomyces were the dominant microorganisms in Jiupei. Moreover, correlation analysis between the physicochemical factors, the dominant microorganisms and the important flavor compounds in QZCF Baijiu production highlighted that the changes of physiochemical factors would lead to the corresponding changes of core microbiota and important flavor substances. Physiochemical factors of starch, reducing sugar and temperature could significantly affect the microbial community structure at the early stage of fermentation, while the influences of ethanol content and acidity became greater at the later stage, resulting in the differences of flavor compounds in Jiupei. Therefore, the growth and metabolism of microbial communities could be regulated by purposefully adjusting the physiochemical factors, thereby improving the flavor and quality of Baijiu. This work enriched the flavor types of Baijiu and provided a reference for the Baijiu-making industries to manage their production process.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, research pointed towards an alleviating effect of Internet usage for religious purposes. This study explores the impact of Internet economy on consumers' psychology and behavior in the post epidemic era, and analyses the factors that affect consumers' purchase intention. The research has certain guiding significance for the development of Internet economy, the relief of residents' psychological pressure and the solution of psychological problems in the post epidemic era. Consumers in the Liaoning province were interviewed by means of questionnaires through group chat links and website advertisements. Consumption information and data were gathered from 15 March 2020 to 15 March 2021. After collecting the questionnaires, 500 effective questionnaires were selected. Questionnaire data were analysed by self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), and the influencing factors of consumers' purchasing psychology were judged by self-rating depression scale (SDS). The overall psychological status of consumers was evaluated by SCL-90. The software SPSS® 18.0 was used to analyse the data collected from the questionnaire. The corresponding strategies for the development of Internet economy are proposed according to the analysis results. The results of data analysis show that appropriate Internet economic consumption can alleviate the negative emotions and psychological pressure of consumers due to long-term home isolation. ABSTRACT Purpose: To explore the potential immunomodulatory effects of total extract and different polar parts from Blaps rynchopetera Fairmaire. Methods: Phagocytic activity was evaluated by neutral red assay, and the effect of the immune function was investigated by normal and immunocompromised mice models. Results: In vitro, total extract, as well as chloroform, ethyl acetate, n-butanol and water fractions could individually enhance the phagocytic ability of mouse peritoneal macrophages; in addition, chloroform and ethyl acetate fractions had an increasing tendency when combined stimulation with lipopolysaccharide (LPS). In vivo, ethyl acetate fraction (EAF) could enhance the immune organ index, increase the serum hemolysin level and peripheral blood immune cells of immunocompromised mice, while for normal mice, the effect was inconspicuous. Conclusions: Blaps rynchopetera extracts had noteworthy immunomodulatory effect, especially for individuals with immune disorders.

Abstract The main feature of insomnia is difficulty in starting or maintaining sleep. 5-HT1A receptor and 5-HT2A receptor are two subtypes of the classic central 5-HT neurotransmitter closely related to sleep and wakefulness. To observe the effects of Evodia rutaecarpa acupoint sticking therapy on the mRNA expressions of 5-HT1A and 5-HT2A in the hypothalamus, brainstem, and hippocampus of insomnia rats induced by para-chlorophenylalanine (PCPA). Ten rats were randomly selected as the normal group, and 80 PCPA insomnia model rats were randomly divided into eight groups, including a model group, a positive control group (diazepam group), a low-dose E. rutaecarpa acupoint sticking therapy group (Yongquan acupoint group and Shenque acupoint group; the same applied below), a middle-dose E. rutaecarpa acupoint sticking therapy group, and a high-dose E. rutaecarpa acupoint sticking therapy group. The normal group and the model group did not receive treatment. The positive control group was given diazepam through intragastric administration, and the three-dose E. rutaecarpa acupoint sticking therapy groups were divided into the Yongquan acupoint group and the Shenque acupoint group. After seven days of administration, the rat hypothalamus, brainstem, and hippocampus tissues were taken, and a real-time polymerase chain reaction method was used to detect the mRNA expressions of 5-HT1A and 5-HT2A. E.rutaecarpa acupoint sticking therapy significantly upregulated 5-HT1A mRNA expression and downregulated 5-HT2A mRNA expression in rats with insomnia caused by PCPA. No significant differences were found in the expression between the two acupoints and the expression among the three brain tissues. E. rutaecarpa acupoint sticking therapy can improve insomnia. The mechanism may be related to the upregulation of 5-HT1A mRNA expression and the downregulation of 5-HT2A mRNA expression in brain tissue.

Abstract In this paper, the relationship between Kernel average misorientation (KAM), geometrically necessary dislocation (GND) density and dislocation structures of Nb-bearing austenitic stainless steel under low cycle fatigue (LCF) was studied at 600°C at the total strain amplitude ranged from 0.3% to 1.0%. The results based on EBSD analysis show that the GND density in fatigue specimens gradually increases with the increase of strain amplitude. Under LCF loading, the dislocation structures are mainly planar slip bands (PSBs) and the cell structures. With the increase of strain amplitude, the number of PSBs increases with decrease in width, and the average diameter of cells also decreases. The PSBs originate due to the dynamic strain aging (DSA) effect, and DSA is more significant under high strain amplitude. The average diameter of cell structures has a specific relationship with GND density.

Abstract Due to the good functional characteristics and nutritional value, ovalbumin (OVA) has a widely ranges of applications in food industry. But the characteristics of being susceptible to external conditions, such as processing, storage conditions and food ingredients, makes it display a relative lower functional property and limits its applications. Glycosylation is a natural, green approach of protein modifications that has an impact on its functional properties. In this work, we prepared the OVA-pectin conjugates through wet-heating and ultrasound glycosylation to investigate the effects on the functional and structural properties of OVA. Both wet-heating and ultrasound treated OVA at present of pectin showed higher emulsify and foam properties than untreated OVA. The results of particle size, SDS-PAGE, FT-IR, and SEM indicated that the covalent binding of pectin with OVA molecule. This study suggests that wet-heating and ultrasound glycosylation with pectin are promising method to improve the functional properties of OVA.

Resumo A raiz seca de astrágalo tem a função de tonificar o zhongjiao, qi benéfico, superfície sólida, diurético, remoção externa de veneno e fortalecimento muscular. Depois de cortar o astrágalo em fatias finas, algumas fatias têm pontos pretos. Neste trabalho foi analisada a diversidade de fungos endofíticos em fatias de ponto negro versus fatias normais. O sequenciamento de alto rendimento resultou em 314.998 e 315.051 sequências de fungos endofíticos, respectivamente, que após agrupamento resultaram em 116 subgrupos de OTU, pertencentes a três filos, nove classes, 22 ordens, 38 famílias e 46 gêneros. As classes dominantes são Eurotiomycetes e Leotiomycetes. A ordem principal é euclides e hilllows. As famílias predominantes foram aspergilaceae e aspergilaceae. Os gêneros predominantes foram leucostilla e aspergillus. Tanto as seções normais como as secções manchadas apresentam uma flora fúngica distinta. O estudo da diversidade de fungos endofíticos em fatias de astrágalo pode contribuir para o desenvolvimento de fármacos para esta planta.

Abstract The dry root of Astragalus mongholicus has therapeutic effects such as tonifing the middle - jiao, replenishing qi, solidifing the surface, promoting diuresis, dispelling sepsis outwards and nourishing muscle. There are some slices having black spots after slicing the root of astragalus. The diversity of endophytic fungi between slices with black spots and normal slices was analysed in this paper. The endophytic fungal sequences obtained by high-throughput sequencing were 298,044 and 297,396, and the 116 OTU subsets obtained after clustering belonged to 3 phyla, 9 classes, 22 orders, 38 families and 46 genera. The dominant classes were Eurotiomycetes and Leotiomycetes. The dominant order is Eurotiales and Helotiales. The dominant families are Helotiales_fam_Incertae_sedis and Aspergillaceae. The dominant genera are Cadophora and Aspergillus. There are some peculiar fungal flora in both normal slices and spotted slices. The study on endophytic fungi diversity of astragalus slices will provide some help for drug development of this plant.
