Resumen. Este artículo pretende preparar una discusión amplia con la lingüística general que se articulase en forma de crítica (en sentido kantiano). El marco de esta preparación será el diálogo implícito que, defiendo, tuvo lugar entre Heidegger y la lingüística tardomoderna. Para llevar a cabo esta preparación, se da una definición somera de qué se entiende por lingüística tardomoderna y, por otra parte, se argumenta cuáles son sus rasgos constitutivos y qué problemas internos pueden observarse desde el pensamiento de Heidegger. Finalmente, se atiende a uno de sus rasgos fundamentales, a saber, el problema de la distinción entre lo lingüístico y lo extralingüístico, que se discute desde una interpretación del análisis heideggeriano de unos versos de Hölderlin.

Abstract. This paper aims to prepare a broad discussion with general linguistics that would be articulated in the form of a critique (in the Kantian sense). The framework of this preparation will be the implicit dialogue that arguably took place between Heidegger and late modern linguistics. To carry out this preparation, I provide a brief definition of what is understood by late modern linguistics. I also present its constitutive features and what internal problems can be observed in it from Heidegger’s perspective. Finally, I deal with one of its fundamental features, namely, the problem of the distinction between the linguistic and the extralinguistic, which is discussed from the perspective of an interpretation of the Heideggerian analysis of some verses by Hölderlin.

ABSTRACT: This paper exposes the connection between the modern or metaphysical conception of language and the essence of language from Heideggerian philosophy with mechanised, ordinary or instrumental technique and the essence of modern technique, that is, the belonging between both phenomena (in the ordinary aspect of both) and the exclusion or crisis that one generates in the other and vice versa. This putting into crisis will be observed where the essence of language cannot be internalised to its ultimate consequences by the essence of technique, and that same essence of language causes the essence of technique to break down and, therefore, illuminate where only technology is observed. To this end, we will question the presupposition of exhaustive interlinguistic translatability or of communicability without remainder, inherent in the modern and metaphysical conception of language.

RESUMEN: Este trabajo expone la conexión entre la concepción moderna o metafísica del lenguaje y la esencia del lenguaje desde la filosofía heideggeriana con la técnica mecanizada, ordinaria o instrumental y la esencia de la técnica moderna, es decir, la pertenencia entre ambos fenómenos (en el aspecto ordinario de ambos) y la exclusión o la puesta en crisis que uno genera en el otro y viceversa. Esta puesta en crisis se observará allí donde la esencia del lenguaje no puede ser interiorizada hasta sus últimas consecuencias por la esencia de la técnica y esa misma esencia del lenguaje hace quebrar y, por tanto, alumbrar la esencia de la técnica allí donde solo se observa tecnología. Para ello, pondremos en cuestión el presupuesto de traducibilidad exhaustiva interlingüística o de comunicabilidad sin resto inherente a la concepción moderna y metafísica del lenguaje.
