RESUMO O mogno africano (Khaya grandifoliola) é uma espécie arbórea que vem ganhando espaço no mercado florestal, apresentando utilidade nas mais diversas utilizações, principalmente em território brasileiro, onde é o principal substituto da madeira do mogno brasileiro. O objetivo deste trabalho foi realizar uma análise de trilha entre a resposta da solução nutritiva ao tratamento com cádmio e as demais variáveis e atributos estudados: aminoácido, nitrato, proteína, amônio, redutase, IDM, cádmio. O experimento foi conduzido em casa de vegetação. A princípio, as mudas foram habituadas para posteriormente serem levadas ao tratamento, onde a aplicabilidade se deu pelo cloreto de cádmio monohidratado (CdCl 2.H2O) de acordo com a solução nutritiva. O delineamento experimental foi inteiramente casualizado (DIC), misturado em cinco concentrações (0; 10; 20; 30 e 40 mg L-1) com sete repetições, totalizando 35 unidades experimentais. Para realizar o exame comparativo, os dados foram submetidos à análise de variância, seguida de análise de regressão. A análise de trilha permitiu verificar diretamente que doses crescentes de tratamento com Cádmio (CAR) refletiram em correlação negativa com o teor de aminoácidos (TAA) nas raízes das plantas de mogno. O estresse abiótico, que foi a exposição a um produto químico tóxico (cádmio), diminuiu, neste caso, a capacidade das plantas de sintetizar aminoácidos. O aumento das doses de tratamento com cádmio (CAL) refletiu em correlação negativa com o teor de proteína na folha (PRL) das plantas de mogno. Evidentemente, quanto maior a concentração de cádmio, maiores serão os danos aos sistemas metabólicos do mogno. Com este estudo, evidenciamos que excesso de cádmio no solo afeta o desenvolvimento de mudas de espécies florestais como o mogno. ABSTRACT African mahogany (Khaya grandifoliola) is a tree species that has gained space in the forestry market, presenting utility in a wide range of uses, especially in Brazilian territory, where it is the main substitute for Brazilian mahogany wood. The objective of this work was to perform a path analysis between the response of nutrient solution to cadmium treatment and the other variables and attributes studied: amino acid, nitrate, protein, ammonium, reductase, IDM, cadmium. The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse. At first, seedlings were habituated to be later taken to the treatment, where the applicability was given by cadmium chloride monohydrate (CdCl 2.H2O) according to the nutrient solution. The experimental design was completely randomized (DIC), mixed in five concentrations (0; 10; 20; 30 and 40 mg L-1) with seven replications, totaling 35 experimental units. To perform the comparative examination, the data were exposed to the analysis of variance, followed by regression analysis. The path analysis allowed to directly verify that increasing doses of treatment with Cadmium (CAR) reflected in a negative correlation with the amino acid content (AAR) in the roots of mahogany plants. Abiotic stress, which was exposure to a toxic chemical (cadmium), decreased, in this case, the ability of plants to synthesize amino acids. Increasing doses of cadmium treatment (CAL) reflected in negative correlation with the protein content in the leaf (PRL) of mahogany plants. Evidently, the higher the cadmium concentration, the greater the damage to mahogany's metabolic systems. With this study, we showed that excess cadmium in the soil affects the development of seedlings of forest species such as mahogany. RESUMO Objetivo Estimar cobertura vacinal, atraso e perda de seguimento da vacina tríplice viral, em crianças até 24 meses residentes em cidades brasileiras. Método Inquérito domiciliar baseado em uma coorte retrospectiva de nascidos vivos em 2017-2018, que analisou cobertura e dados sociodemográficos das crianças e famílias, a partir dos registros da caderneta de vacinação e entrevista. Resultados A cobertura válida da primeira dose foi de 90,0% (IC95% 88,9;91,0), e da segunda, e 81,1% (IC95% 79,8;82,4). O atraso para ambas as doses foi de 23,2% (IC95% 21,9;24,5) e a perda de seguimento de 10,8% (IC95% 9,9;11,8). O estrato socioeconômico A apresentou menor cobertura e, à medida que a ordem de nascimento aumentava, menor era a cobertura para as duas doses. Crianças de mães com 13 a 15 anos de escolaridade apresentaram maior cobertura. Conclusão As coberturas não alcançaram a meta preconizada. Estratégias diferenciadas para dirimir dificuldade de acesso, desinformação e hesitação poderão melhorar a cobertura. vacinal viral 2 brasileiras 20172018, 20172018 2017 2018, 2018 2017-2018 famílias entrevista 900 90 0 90,0 IC95% IC95 IC (IC95 88,991,0, 889910 88,9 91,0 , 88 9 91 88,9;91,0) segunda 811 81 1 81,1 79,882,4. 798824 79,8 82,4 . 79 8 82 4 79,8;82,4) 232 23 23,2 21,924,5 219245 21,9 24,5 21 5 21,9;24,5 108 10 10,8 9,911,8. 99118 9,9 11,8 11 9,9;11,8) aumentava preconizada acesso 2017201 201 2017-201 90, IC9 (IC9 991 88,991,0 88991 889 88, 910 91, 88,9;91,0 81, 882 79,882,4 79882 798 79, 824 82, 7 79,8;82,4 23, 924 21,924, 21924 219 21, 245 24, 21,9;24, 10, 911 9,911,8 9911 99 9, 118 11, 9,9;11,8 201720 20 2017-20 (IC 88,991, 8899 88,9;91, 79,882, 7988 79,8;82, 92 21,924 2192 21,9;24 9,911, 9,9;11, 20172 2017-2 88,991 88,9;91 79,882 79,8;82 21,92 21,9;2 9,911 9,9;11 2017- 88,99 88,9;9 79,88 79,8;8 21,9; 9,91 9,9;1 88,9; 79,8; 9,9;
ABSTRACT Objective To estimate measles-mumps-rubella vaccination coverage, delay and loss to follow-up in children up to 24 months old living in Brazilian cities. Methods Surveys and questionnaires with a retrospective cohort of live births in 2017-2018, analyzing vaccination coverage and sociodemographic data of children and families, based on vaccination card records and interviews. Results Valid coverage of first dose was 90.0% (95%CI 88.9;91.0) and 81.1% for the second dose (95%CI 79.8;82.4). Delay for both doses was 23.2% (95%CI 21.9;24.5) and loss to follow-up was 10.8% (95%CI 9.9;11.8). Socioeconomic stratum A had the lowest vaccination coverage and the higher the child’s birth order, the lower the vaccination coverage for the second dose. Children whose mothers had 13 to 15 years of education had higher vaccination coverage. Conclusion Coverage did not meet the recommended target. Differentiated strategies to resolve difficulties in access, misinformation, and vaccination hesitancy will help improve vaccination coverage. measlesmumpsrubella measles mumps rubella followup follow 2 cities 20172018, 20172018 2017 2018, 2018 2017-2018 families interviews 900 90 0 90.0 95%CI 95CI CI 95 88.991.0 889910 88.9 91.0 88 9 91 88.9;91.0 811 81 1 81.1 79.882.4. 798824 79.8 82.4 . 79 8 82 4 79.8;82.4) 232 23 23.2 21.924.5 219245 21.9 24.5 21 5 21.9;24.5 108 10 10.8 9.911.8. 99118 9.9 11.8 11 9.9;11.8) childs child s order target access misinformation 2017201 201 2017-201 90. 991 88.991. 88991 889 88. 910 91. 88.9;91. 81. 882 79.882.4 79882 798 79. 824 82. 7 79.8;82.4 23. 924 21.924. 21924 219 21. 245 24. 21.9;24. 10. 911 9.911.8 9911 99 9. 118 11. 9.9;11.8 201720 20 2017-20 88.991 8899 88.9;91 79.882. 7988 79.8;82. 92 21.924 2192 21.9;24 9.911. 9.9;11. 20172 2017-2 88.99 88.9;9 79.882 79.8;82 21.92 21.9;2 9.911 9.9;11 2017- 88.9; 79.88 79.8;8 21.9; 9.91 9.9;1 79.8; 9.9;

ABSTRACT The limited temporal completeness and taxonomic accuracy of species lists, made available in a traditional manner in scientific publications, has always represented a problem. These lists are invariably limited to a few taxonomic groups and do not represent up-to-date knowledge of all species and classifications. In this context, the Brazilian megadiverse fauna is no exception, and the Catálogo Taxonômico da Fauna do Brasil (CTFB) (http://fauna.jbrj.gov.br/), made public in 2015, represents a database on biodiversity anchored on a list of valid and expertly recognized scientific names of animals in Brazil. The CTFB is updated in near real time by a team of more than 800 specialists. By January 1, 2024, the CTFB compiled 133,691 nominal species, with 125,138 that were considered valid. Most of the valid species were arthropods (82.3%, with more than 102,000 species) and chordates (7.69%, with over 11,000 species). These taxa were followed by a cluster composed of Mollusca (3,567 species), Platyhelminthes (2,292 species), Annelida (1,833 species), and Nematoda (1,447 species). All remaining groups had less than 1,000 species reported in Brazil, with Cnidaria (831 species), Porifera (628 species), Rotifera (606 species), and Bryozoa (520 species) representing those with more than 500 species. Analysis of the CTFB database can facilitate and direct efforts towards the discovery of new species in Brazil, but it is also fundamental in providing the best available list of valid nominal species to users, including those in science, health, conservation efforts, and any initiative involving animals. The importance of the CTFB is evidenced by the elevated number of citations in the scientific literature in diverse areas of biology, law, anthropology, education, forensic science, and veterinary science, among others. publications problem uptodate up date classifications context exception (CTFB http//fauna.jbrj.gov.br/, httpfaunajbrjgovbr http //fauna.jbrj.gov.br/ , jbrj gov br (http://fauna.jbrj.gov.br/) 2015 Brazil 80 specialists 1 2024 133691 133 691 133,69 125138 125 138 125,13 82.3%, 823 82 3 (82.3% 102000 102 000 102,00 7.69%, 769 7 69 (7.69% 11000 11 11,00 . 3,567 3567 567 (3,56 2,292 2292 2 292 (2,29 1,833 1833 833 (1,83 1,447 1447 447 (1,44 1000 1,00 831 (83 628 (62 606 (60 520 (52 50 users science health biology law anthropology education others http//fauna.jbrj.gov.br/ faunajbrjgovbr //fauna.jbrj.gov.br (http://fauna.jbrj.gov.br/ 201 8 202 13369 13 133,6 12513 12 125,1 82.3% (82.3 10200 10 00 102,0 7.69% 76 6 (7.69 1100 11,0 3,56 356 56 (3,5 2,29 229 29 (2,2 1,83 183 83 (1,8 1,44 144 44 (1,4 100 1,0 (8 62 (6 60 52 (5 5 http//fauna.jbrj.gov.br (http://fauna.jbrj.gov.br 20 1336 133, 1251 125, 82.3 (82. 1020 0 102, 7.69 (7.6 110 11, 3,5 35 (3, 2,2 22 (2, 1,8 18 (1, 1,4 14 4 ( 82. ABSTRACT Climate change has made food security vulnerable. Therefore, it is important to have discussions on the subject and take actions that minimize the environmental impacts on family farming, that will be directly or indirectly affected by climatic events. With this in mind, this study aimed to identify climate changes in the state of Piauí based on climate projections and to verify their possible impacts on the suitability of growing food crops, such as beans, corn, cassava, and cashew. The climate scenarios analyzed were 2011–2040, 2041–2070, and 2071–2100. The observed data on current climate came from the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET), and future climate projections came from the Brazilian Portal of Climate Projections of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). Based on the climatic data obtained (current and future), the climatological water balance was calculated, using the method proposed by Thorntwaite, with consecutive characterization of the suitability for crops. All maps were generated in QGIS. According to the results, crops that may suffer from water deficit are beans and cashews. The latter, in the RCP 8.5 scenario (2071–2100) shows unsuitability for cultivation throughout the state. The population with the highest rate of social vulnerability is the one that will be most damaged by the events caused by climate change. vulnerable Therefore farming mind corn cassava cashew 20112040 2011 2040 2011–2040 20412070 2041 2070 2041–2070 20712100 2071 2100 2071–2100 INMET, INMET , (INMET) INPE. (ACS (MRR APS. APS . (APS) ESF. Abstract The article aims to map and analyze the practices developed by community health agents (CHA) in remote rural municipalities (RRM) in light of the essential and derived attributes of Primary Health Care (PHC). A case study was carried out in four RRM in the Northeastern Semi-arid Region through interviews with CHA and users of the Family Health Strategy (ESF). The results show a strong performance of the CHA in actions linked to the gateway and comprehensiveness, with an expanded scope, especially in the rural areas of the RRM. Intermediation and facilitation of access occur through the CHA’s strong bond with territories and families and in the absence of other assistance resources. Individual actions, through home visits, were more prevalent to the detriment of collective actions related to derived attributes. Procedures such as blood pressure measurement and dressings were identified. (CHA (RRM PHC. PHC . (PHC) Semiarid Semi arid ESF. Abstract This study aimed to develop an acerola smoothie using gellan gum (GG) as a texture modifier. Samples were developed with three concentrations of GG (0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3% w/v) and a control sample (without GG). Physicochemical, rheological, and sensory properties were evaluated. The smoothie samples showed increased color intensity than the control, with a tendency to yellow and red colors. However, the hydrocolloid concentration did not affect the samples' pH values (4.13 to 4.17). GG presence favored an increase in the samples' viscosity, classified as pseudoplastic fluid. There was a reduction in vitamin C in samples with GG (422.18 to 430.49 mg/100 g), however, the values remained close to the control (448.89 mg/100 g). There was greater sensory acceptance by the sample with intermediate texture (0.2% GG), which obtained a higher frequency for the attributes "homogeneous" and "acerola flavor".

Abstract Exogenous application of stress inductors can facilitate and accelerate some biological responses that promote plant defense. The objective of the experiment was to quantify some compounds linked to nitrogen metabolism as a function of the application of salicylic acid in Schinus terebinthifolius seedlings submitted to water deficit. The experiment was constituted of four doses of salicylic acid and three periods of water deficit. Quantifications included levels of nitrate, free ammonium, total soluble amino acids, proteins, proline, glycine-betaine and relative water content. When evaluating the relative water content in seedlings of Schinus terebinthifolius at 8 days, it was observed that the dose of 200 mg L-1. Seedlings showed physiological responses when subjected to doses of salicylic acid of 200 and 300 mg L-1. The increase in concentration of proline and glycine are advantageous, because these substances act as osmoregulators and cell protectors against deficit hydrical.

Foram aplicados os seguintes instrumentos de autorrelato: Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), Health Status Questionnaire (SF-36V2), Escala Analógica Visual (EAV), Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Index (OLBPDI), Fear-Avoidance Belief Questionnaire (FABQ) and Pain Castatrophizing Scale (PCS). RESULTADOS: Foram observadas diferenças significativas (p<0,05) nos escores dos instrumentos aplicados entre os grupos. Sendo que o GC apresentou médias maiores que o GT. ABSTRACT BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Low back pain is considered a public health problem worldwide and has a personal, social, occupational and economic impact. Psychosocial signs such as inappropriate beliefs about pain, fear of movement, anxiety, stress, depression and low job satisfaction are characteristics of individuals with low back pain. These clinical signs are mediators of chronic pain and disability. The present study aimed to assess psychological comorbidities in patients with chronic non-specific low back pain who are undergoing physical therapy and patients awaiting physical therapy; in addition to characterizing the psychosocial profile of these individuals. METHODS: This research was carried out with 31 individuals recruited from physical therapy clinics in the region of greater Florianópolis. They were divided into two groups: Treatment (TG) and non-treatment (CG). The following self-report instruments were applied: Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), Health Status Questionnaire (SF-36V2), Visual Analog Scale (VAS), Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Index (OLBPDI), Fear-Avoidance Belief Questionnaire (FABQ) and Pain Castatrophizing Scale (PCS). RESULTS: Significant differences (p<0.05) were observed in the scores of the instruments applied between the groups. The CG had higher averages than the GT. CONCLUSION: The results obtained in this study support previous findings about the benefits of physical therapy for individuals with chronic nonspecific low back pain, suggesting that, in addition to reducing pain and disability, there are benefits related to psychosocial factors. ABSTRACT. This study aims at investigating to follow the formation and development of biofloc aggregates in a system with the introduction of an in vitro selected bacterial consortium (Bacillus thuringiensis, Bacillus sp., Staphylococcus cohnii) in order to induce fast formation of biofloc and to compare it to the development of spontaneous formation biofloc. Two experimental groups were evaluated for biofloc formation, SFT and IFT. The first refers to spontaneous (conventional) formation of the flocs and the second to induced formation (IFT), achieved through the consortium of potentially inducing bacteria. Both treatments presented a constant increase of bioflocs, however, in the IFT treatment, the microbial aggregates were larger and more uniform. By the end of the experiment, we verified that the aggregates formed in the IFT showed higher volume and lower sedimentation rate in comparison to the spontaneously formed ones. The results show that domestication in microbial communities is efficient as related to bioflocs, reducing instability during its formation and development.

ABSTRACT The cowpea is subject to both quantitative and qualitative loss during storage due to attack by the insect pest Callosobruchus maculatus (Fabricius) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae). There is a growing interest in controlling the pest using insecticides that result from the reactions of secondary metabolites produced by plants, due to their high efficiency, wide availability and selectivity for the target organisms. The present study aimed to evaluate the fumigant activity of allyl isothiocyanate (AITC) on the development of C. maculatus and its effect on the physical properties of the cowpea. To evaluate the instantaneous population growth rate (ri), the insects were exposed to concentrations of 3.81, 5.71, 7.67, 9.41 and 17.85 mL AITC m-3 cowpea (corresponding to LC1, LC10, LC30, LC50 and LC95) for 40 days, after which the physical properties of the cowpea were analyzed. The degree of infestation increased considerably with the reduction in AITC concentration, as did the water content and electrical conductivity. The germination percentage and apparent density decreased with the reduction in AITC concentration. The LC10 sublethal concentration reduced reproduction in C. maculatus and the degree of infestation of the cowpea after 40 days of storage. AITC inhibits the development of C. maculatus and helps maintain the physical properties of the cowpea, thereby representing an alternative to the use of traditional insecticides and showing potential for the control of insect pests in stored grain.
