RESUMO: A regularização ambiental da piscicultura continental no Brasil está intimamente ligada à ocupação e uso do solo, as áreas utilizadas para a atividade estão em sua maioria inseridas em áreas de preservação permanente (APP), próximas a rios e nascentes. Esse cenário demonstra a relação entre a atividade e o cumprimento da lei, referente às questões florestais no país. Santa Catarina é um dos estados líderes na piscicultura e um dos primeiros a regulamentar o uso de áreas de preservação permanente (APPs). Assim, foi avaliada a viabilidade de uma proposta de compensação ambiental para regularizar o uso de APPs em Santa Catarina para a piscicultura. Os resultados mostraram que 74% das pisciculturas analisadas precisam regularizar a ocupação das estruturas de produção em APPs. Com relação ao índice proposto de compensação pelo uso em APP, o fator de compensação ambiental (FCA), por meio da avaliação dos mapas individuais e posterior avaliação integrada, todas as pisciculturas identificadas com passivos ambientais em ocupação apresentavam relações de 1:2 e 1:3, sendo este índice uma alternativa viável para a regularização ambiental da atividade. No entanto, propõe-se que o ECF seja aplicado a pequenas pisciculturas, de até quatro módulos fiscais e que tenham um perfil de ocupação mínima padrão em relação à área total da propriedade, conforme avaliado no presente estudo. ABSTRACT: The environmental regulation of continental fish farming in Brazil is closely linked to land occupation and use. Areas used for this activity are mostly located in permanent preservation areas (PPA), close to rivers and springs, demonstrating the necessity of regulating this activity for its compliance with public policy. Santa Catarina is a leading state in fish farming and one of the first to regulate the use of PPAs. The feasibility of a proposal for environmental compensation to regularize the use of PPAs in Santa Catarina for fish farming; was therefore, assessed. The results showed that 74% of the fish farms analyzed need to regularize the occupation of production structures in PPAs. Regarding the proposed index of compensation for use in PPAs, the environmental compensation factor (ECF), through evaluation of the individual maps and subsequent integrated evaluation, all the fish farms identified with environmental liabilities in occupation had ratios of 1:2 and 1:3, and this index is a viable alternative for environmental regularization of the activity. Resumo Enquadramento: A ventilação não invasiva (VNI) constitui uma estratégia terapêutica à pessoa com insuficiência respiratória aguda (IRA). Objetivo: Analisar a relação entre as variáveis sociodemográficas e clínicas, das pessoas internadas na medicina interna, e a adaptação e complicações da VNI. Metodologia: Estudo observacional retrospetivo de coorte, com amostra de 239 pessoas. A colheita de dados foi efetuada através de registos eletrónicos no SClínico, utilizando um guia de extração de dados. Resultados: Verificou-se que 25,1% das pessoas estavam inadaptadas à VNI, associando-se significativamente com a alimentação oral, confusão e uso de contenção mecânica. As complicações verificaram-se em 33,5% da amostra, sendo as mais frequentes secreções, lesão no nariz e vómitos. Constatou-se uma associação estatisticamente significativa entre o número de complicações e pessoas alimentadas por sonda nasogástrica (SNG), confusas, com medidas de contenção mecânica e a utilizarem máscara oro-nasal. Conclusão: A vigilância da pessoa submetida a VNI deve ser assegurada por uma equipa de enfermagem especializada. Devem ser implementados protocolos conducentes à prevenção de complicações e promotores de adaptabilidade à VNI.

Abstract Background: Non-invasive ventilation is a therapeutic strategy for patients with acute respiratory failure. Objective: To analyze the relationship between the sociodemographic and clinical variables of patients hospitalized in internal medicine services and the adaptation to and complications of non-invasive ventilation. Methodology: A retrospective observational cohort study was carried out with a sample of 239 patients. Data were collected from electronic records in the information system SClínico, using a data extraction guide. Results: A total of 25.1% of the participants did not adapt to non-invasive ventilation, and this was significantly associated with oral feeding, confusion, and the use of mechanical restraint measures. Complications occurred in 33.5% of the sample. The most frequent complications were secretions, nasal injuries, and vomiting. There was a statistically significant association between the number of complications and patients fed by nasogastric tube, confused, with mechanical restraint measures, and wearing an oronasal mask. Conclusion: The monitoring of patients on non-invasive ventilation should be carried out by a specialized nursing team. Protocols should be implemented to prevent complications and promote patient adaptation to non-invasive ventilation.

Resumen Marco contextual: La ventilación no invasiva (VNI) es una estrategia terapéutica para las personas con insuficiencia respiratoria aguda (IRA). Resumo A tuberculose é uma doença com grande heterogeneidade de apresentações e clinicamente desafiante, o que pode levar a atrasos no diagnóstico com consequências graves e potencialmente fatais. A forma mais prevalente da doença é pulmonar. O caso apresentado tem características únicas, pois descreve um caso de tuberculose miliar numa adolescente imunocompetente vacinada com a vacina do Bacilo de Calmette-Guerin, e pretende alertar para a importância de manter um elevado índice de suspeição perante uma radiografia de tórax normal no início da doença e uma tomografia craniana normal no contexto de meningite tuberculosa. Salienta ainda a importância de considerar a tuberculose no diagnóstico diferencial de febre de origem indeterminada com perda ponderal, mesmo quando não existe uma ligação epidemiológica identificada.

Abstract Tuberculosis is a challenging diagnosis with marked clinical heterogeneity that can lead to diagnostic delay and serious and potentially life-threatening problems. The most prevalent form of the disease is pulmonary tuberculosis. The present case has unique features as in that it describes a case of miliary tuberculosis in an immunocompetent adolescent vaccinated with the Bacillus Calmette-Guerin vaccine and raises awareness of the occurrence of normal radiograph and early in the course of pulmonary tuberculosis, and normal head tomography even in the presence of tuberculous meningitis, highlighting the need for a high index of suspicion. It also shows that tuberculosis should be included in the differential diagnosis of fever of unknown origin with weight loss, even when no epidemiologic link has been established.

Resumo A leucemia linfoblástica aguda (LLA) é a causa mais comum de neoplasia em idade pediátrica. Excluindo os tumores musculoesqueléticos, a LLA é uma das neoplasias mais frequentemente associadas a sintomas osteomusculares na apresentação inicial. Muitas das crianças com LLA são inicialmente referenciadas à Ortopedia, pelo que é necessário um elevado grau de suspeição para evitar o atraso do diagnóstico. Os autores relatam dois casos de crianças com diagnóstico presumível de infeção osteoarticular cuja evolução clínica levou ao diagnóstico de doença linfoproliferativa.

Abstract Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common cause of malignancy in pediatric age. With the exception of musculoskeletal tumors, ALL is one of the malignancies most commonly associated with musculoskeletal symptoms at initial presentation. Some children with ALL are initially referred to Orthopedics for diagnostic evaluation, and a high index of clinical suspicion is required to avoid diagnostic delay. The authors report two cases of children initially diagnosed with a presumed osteoarticular infection, but whose clinical evolution led to the diagnosis of lymphoproliferative disease.

ABSTRACT. This study aimed to assess the impact of microalgal concentrations in diets on the settlement and metamorphosis stages of pediveliger larvae and spat of Crassostrea gigas oysters. Diets containing microalgal concentrations of 8, 12, and 16×104 cells mL-1 were administered for seven days during the larval settlement phase of pediveliger larvae. In the metamorphosis and postlarval cultivation phases, diets with microalgal concentrations of 8, 16, 24, and 32×104 cells mL-1 and a control group without food were tested for 14 and 21 days, respectively. Growth, yield, and survival were assessed every seven days. The diet comprised 30% Isochrysis galbana and 70% Chaetoceros muelleri microalgae. In the metamorphosis phase, the results revealed no significant differences in larval metamorphosis rate and survival across the tested diets. The concentrations exhibited similar survival in the spat with an initial average shell height of 0.657 ± 0.05 mm, with a significant difference only in growth. In the spat with an initial average shell height of 0.830 ± 0.12 mm, no differences in survival were observed among the tested concentrations. We concluded that diets of 12 and 16×104 cells mL-1 provide high rates of larval metamorphosis and spat yield during the larval settlement and metamorphosis phases. During the spat cultivation phases, diets of 32 and 24×104 cells mL-1 could optimize the cultivation time and yield of C. gigas spat in the laboratory. However, when considering survival alone, no advantage was found in providing a diet with a microalgal concentration above 8×104 cells mL-1 across all C. gigas oyster cultivation phases.

Abstract Framework: The Covid-19 pandemic has brought several challenges at an economic, labor, social, and organizational level, and organizations had to adopt strategies to ensure their functioning, as well as to ensure and promote the health and well-being of workers. Research Question/Goals: This study aimed to identify and describe (1) the impact of Covid-19 on the world of work and (2) the strategies that organizations have adopted to minimize this impact. Method: A descriptive qualitative cross-sectional study was carried out, where data were collected from 18 participants (10 Human Resources Managers, five specialists from relevant fields regarding professional experiences with Covid-19, and three representatives of public entities and Portuguese civil society from the fields of work and gender) through semi-structured interviews. The data were analyzed using thematic categorical content analysis with the support of NVivo®. Results: The pandemic impacted (RQ1) on work, economic and labor, work-life balance, and health and well-being. The measures (RQ2) most frequently implemented by the organizations were in terms of health and safety at work, adaptation to teleworking, work-life balance, and communication. Final considerations: The data points to increasingly remote and flexible work transformed by new technologies. In the (re)design of the work, it is essential to consider the characteristics and needs of each worker.

Resumo Introdução/Enquadramento: A pandemia Covid-19 trouxe diversos desafios a nível económico e laboral, social e organizacional, tendo as organizações que adotar estratégias para garantir o seu funcionamento, mas também garantir e promover a saúde e bem-estar dos trabalhadores. Questão de Investigação/Objetivos: Este estudo teve como objetivo identificar e descrever: (1) o impacto da Covid-19 no mundo do trabalho, e (2) as estratégias que as organizações adotaram para minimizar esse impacto. Método: Foi realizado um estudo transversal qualitativo descritivo, onde foram recolhidos dados de 18 participantes (10 Gestores de Recursos Humanos, cinco especialistas de áreas relevantes sobre as vivências profissionais com a Covid-19 e três representantes de entidades públicas e da sociedade civil portuguesa nas áreas do trabalho e do género) através de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os dados foram analisados à luz da análise de conteúdo categorial temática, com o apoio do NVivo®. Resultados: A pandemia teve impacto (QI1) a nível do trabalho, económico e laboral, da conciliação, e da saúde e bem-estar. As medidas (QI2) mais frequentemente implementadas pelas organizações foram ao nível da higiene e segurança no trabalho, adaptação ao teletrabalho, conciliação e comunicação. Considerações finais: Os dados apontam para um mundo do trabalho cada vez mais remoto e flexível, transformado pelo uso das novas tecnologias. No (re)desenho do trabalho é essencial ter em conta as características e necessidades de cada trabalhador.

Abstract The effect of hormonal contraception (HC) on female sexuality has been discussed for a long time. Some studies suggest that negative experiences concerned to the use of HC are the main causes for changing or stopping the use of the HC. In this sense, the main objective of this article will be to review the literature published on the subject in the last 10 years and understand the possible relationship between the use of contraception and sexual dysfunction. A literature search was performed between April 4 and 8, 2022, and in major research-based medicine databases, with publication date between January 2012 to March 2022, using the terms MeSH female sexual dysfunction, contraceptives, and hormonal contraceptives. The Consensus on Contraception (2020), the Gynecology Protocol within the scope of Primary Health Care (2019) and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM -V 2013) were consulted. Women who are medicated with HC show a lower frequency of sexual activity, less sexual stimulation and less sexual pleasure. They present lower vaginal lubrification and greater difficulty in achieving the orgasm. Within HC it is difficult to find out which method is best. From the existing evidence, it is hard to conclude about the better HC. There are studies that support that intra uterine device (IUD), the intrauterine system (IUS) and the transdermal patch have less impact on female sexuality. Despite the difficulty in evaluating the FSD and the disparity of existing definitions, feminine sexual dysfunction is a problem that can significantly affect the quality of life of women and couples, and to which all physicians should be aware. It is important to adequate and adjust the advice to the expectations of each woman, in order to increase adherence to the method and satisfaction.

Resumo O efeito da contraceção hormonal (CH) na sexualidade feminina há muito que tem vindo a ser matéria de discussão. Alguns estudos sugerem que as experiências negativas relativamente ao uso de CH são as principais causas de descontinuação ou alteração do método contracetivo. Neste sentido, o principal objetivo do presente artigo será rever a literatura publicada sobre o tema nos últimos 10 anos e compreender a eventual relação entre o uso de contraceção e a disfunção sexual feminina. Foi realizada pesquisa da literatura, entre o dia 4 e 8 de Abril de 2022, nas principais bases de dados de medicina baseada na evidência, com data de publicação: janeiro de 2012 a março de 2022, utilizando os termos MeSH: feminine sexual dysfunction, oral contraceptives, e hormonal contraceptives. Foi consultado o Consenso sobre Contraceção (2020), o Protocolo de Ginecologia no âmbito dos Cuidados de Saúde Primários (2019) e o Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM -V 2013). Os métodos contracetivos poderão apresentar efeitos negativos sobre a sexualidade feminina, nomeadamente na diminuição do desejo sexual e líbido. Dentro da CH é difícil retirar conclusões sobre qual o melhor método anticoncecional, no entanto, há vários estudos que sustentam que os dispositivos intrauterinos apresentam menor impacto na sexualidade feminina. Apesar da difícil avaliação da DSF e da disparidade de definições existentes, este é um problema real e que pode afetar significativamente a qualidade de vida das mulheres e do casal, e, para o qual, todos os médicos devem estar sensibilizados. É importante que haja um aconselhamento adequado e ajustado às expectativas de cada mulher, de forma a aumentar a adesão ao método e a satisfação da utilizadora.

Resumo Uma obstrução gástrica no contexto de hérnia inguinal é uma entidade extremamente rara, mas que acarreta uma elevada morbimortalidade e, portanto, deverá ser rapidamente reconhecida pelo radiologista, permitindo um tratamento precoce. Este artigo descreve um paciente de 70 anos, do sexo masculino com história de dor abdominal generalizada e intensa, vómitos e obstipação. Ao exame físico o doente apresentava uma volumosa hérnia inguino-escrotal direita, bem como um abdómen plano, não depressível e com defesa generalizada. Neste contexto realizou uma radiografia abdominal com raios tangenciais onde se observou um nível aéreo na porção não dependente do abdómen, tendo levantado a suspeita de pneumoperitoneu. Realizou TC onde se identificou uma volumosa hérnia inguino-escrotal direita, contendo ansas intestinais, bem como a porção inferior do estômago, que se encontrava marcadamente distendido.

Abstract Gastric obstruction in the setting of an inguinal hernia is extremely rare. However, this entity entails a high morbimortality and, therefore, should be easily recognized by the radiologist, allowing a prompt treatment. This article describes a 70-year-old man, with a history of intense and generalized abdominal pain, vomiting and constipation. On physical examination a voluminous inguinoscrotal hernia and a flat, non-compressible and tender abdomen, were identified. In this context, a tangential abdominal radiography was performed and a gas level on the non-dependent portion of the abdomen was identified, that raised the suspicion of pneumoperitoneum. A CT was obtained and a right-sided, voluminous inguinoscrotal hernia was observed. This hernia contained intestinal loops and the markedly distended stomach.

RESUMO O arroz irrigado em Santa Catarina é cultivado em monocultivo, o que tem agravado os problemas com plantas daninhas. Deste modo, o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a eficiência de sistemas de manejo de plantas daninhas na cultura da soja sobre a redução da infestação de plantas daninhas em uma área de produção de arroz irrigado, utilizando para isso herbicidas em pré e/ou pós-emergência da soja. O experimento foi conduzido no município de Turvo - SC no período de agosto de 2021 a abril de 2022. Utilizou-se o delineamento de blocos casualizados com tratamentos organizados em esquema fatorial 6 × 5, com quatro repetições. O fator A constou de seis tratamentos aplicados em pré-emergência, os herbicidas utilizados foram: S-metolachlor, diclosulam, sulfentrazone, sulfentrazone + diuron, pyroxasulfone + flumioxazin, além de uma testemunha sem herbicida. Já o fator B constou de cinco tratamentos aplicados em pós-emergência: testemunha sem herbicida, gyphosate em duas doses (930 e 1550 g e.a. ha-1), aplicadas de forma isoladas ou em associação com clethodim. O herbicida S-metolachlor foi ineficiente para o controle de outras plantas daninhas, mesmo quando combinado com a aplicação em pós-emergência. O controle deficiente destas espécies não resulta em significativa interferência, não causando decréscimo na produtividade de grãos da soja, em ambientes de terras baixas. O uso dos herbicidas S-metolachlor, diclosulam e pyroxasulfone + flumioxazin, combinados com a aplicação em pós-emergência de glyphosate (930 g e.a. ha-1) resultou em controle eficiente de capim-arroz e inibiu a produção de sementes. ABSTRACT Lowland rice in Santa Catarina (SC), Brazil, is grown as a sole crop, which has aggravated problems with weeds. In this context, the objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of weed management systems in soybean crops to decrease weed infestation in lowland rice production areas, using pre- and post-emergence herbicides. The experiment was conducted in Turvo, SC, from August 2021 to April 2022. A randomized block design with four replications was used, in a 6 × 5 factorial arrangement. The factors consisted of six pre-emergence herbicides treatments (S-metolachlor, diclosulam, sulfentrazone, sulfentrazone + diuron, pyroxasulfone + flumioxazin, and a control without herbicide), and five post-emergence herbicide treatments: control without herbicide, glyphosate at two rates (930 and 1,550 g a.e. ha-1), applied alone or in combination with clethodim. The herbicide sulfentrazone caused persistent phytotoxicity and resulted in the lowest soybean grain yield. The herbicide S-metolachlor was ineffective in controlling weed species, except barnyard grass, even when combined with post-emergence application. The poor control of these weed species does not result in significant interference, causing no significant decreases in grain yield of soybean crops grown in floodplain soils. The use of S-metolachlor, diclosulam, and pyroxasulfone + flumioxazin, combined with post-emergence application of glyphosate (930 g a.e. ha-1), resulted in highly effective control of barnyard grass, inhibiting weed seed production. Only the combination of glyphosate (1,550 g a.e. ha-1) with clethodim can suppress barnyard grass seed production without using pre-emergence herbicides. RESUMO Com o objetivo de analisar os processos de vulnerabilização socioambientais e em saúde das populações expostas ao petróleo bruto, no contexto da pandemia de covid-19 e apresentar caminhos para a reparação integral comunitária, este estudo assumiu uma perspectiva teórico-metodológica ancorada na Abordagem Ecossistêmica em Saúde, na Reprodução Social da Saúde e na Determinação Social da Saúde. Recorreu-se à pesquisa-ação como estratégia para a interação dialógica com os sujeitos dos territórios e construção de experiências emancipatórias na luta por saúde, ambiente e desenvolvimento sustentável. Apresenta-se, de forma geral, o processo de determinação social da saúde das comunidades da pesca artesanal, a promoção de interlocuções comunitária-institucional. ABSTRACT This study adopted a theoretical-methodological perspective anchored in the Ecosystem Approach to Health, the Social Reproduction of Health, and the Social Determinants of Health to analyze the socioenvironmental vulnerability and health of populations exposed to crude oil during the COVID-19 pandemic and present pathways for comprehensive community reparation. We employed action research as a strategy for dialogic interaction with the subjects of the territories and the construction of emancipatory experiences in the struggle for health, the environment, and sustainable development. We presented a general outlook on the social determination of the health of small-scale fishing communities and the promotion of community-institutional dialogues. The results reinforce the need for environmental health studies that combine academic knowledge with the wisdom of water peoples in the pursuit of truth, justice, and reparation. Abstract Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are the most common primary lung neoplasms. Clinical manifestations can be subtle, and chest radiograph usually shows non-specific findings, often leading to delayed or inaccurate diagnosis. Despite their indolent nature, NETs have metastatic potential and can cause significant morbidity. Early diagnosis is critical for optimal management, as surgical resection can be curative. The challenge is to correctly diagnose this rare entity while avoiding unnecessary testing. Patients with suspected NETs should be referred to a tertiary hospital for multidisciplinary evaluation, and bronchoscopy should not be delayed. Herein is reported the case of an adolescent with asthma who presented with nonspecific respiratory and constitutional symptoms. The persistence of symptoms and imaging alterations despite multiple treatments for recurrent pneumonia raised clinical suspicion of a more serious underlying condition, leading to the diagnosis of bronchial NET.

Resumo Os tumores neuroendócrinos (TNEs) são as neoplasias pulmonares primárias mais comuns. O diagnóstico pode ser desafiante, pois as manifestações clínicas são geralmente subtis e as alterações imagiológicas inespecíficas. Apesar da sua natureza indolente, os TNEs têm potencial metastático e podem causar morbilidade significativa. O diagnóstico precoce é fundamental para uma abordagem otimizada, uma vez que a ressecção cirúrgica pode ser curativa. O desafio é estabelecer o diagnóstico desta entidade rara evitando avaliações e exames complementares desnecessários. Perante suspeita de TNE, o doente deve ser referenciado para um hospital terciário para avaliação multidisciplinar e realização de broncoscopia. É descrito o caso de um adolescente com asma que se apresentou com sintomas respiratórios e constitucionais inespecíficos. A persistência dos sintomas e alterações imagiológicas apesar da realização de múltiplos tratamentos por pneumonia recorrente motivou a continuação da investigação etiológica e possibilitou o estabelecimento do diagnóstico de TNE endobrônquico.

Abstract The development of vaccinations has been game-changing in the ongoing effort to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Until now, adverse effects are being reported at low frequency, including thrombocytopenia and myocarditis. Careful monitoring for any suspicious symptoms and signs following vaccination is necessary. We report a case of hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) after mRNA COVID-19 vaccine in a 23-year-old female with ulcerative colitis. Diagnosis was made according to HLH-2004 criteria and the patient was treated with dexamethasone with response. Our report aimed to draw attention to the potential relation between COVID-19 vaccines and HLH and the necessity of continued surveillance, especially in at-risk populations such as those with underlying immune dysregulation.

Resumo O desenvolvimento de vacinas foi um ponto de viragem no combate contra a pandemia da COVID-19. Até ao momento, os efeitos adversos como a trombocitopenia e miocardite têm sido reportados com baixa frequência. A monitorização cuidadosa de qualquer sinal ou sintoma suspeitos é essencial. Reportamos um caso de linfohistiocitose hemofagocítica após vacinação contra a COVID-19 com uma vacina de mRNA, numa jovem de 23 anos com colite ulcerosa. O diagnóstico obedeceu os critérios HLH-2004 e a paciente foi tratada com dexametasona, com resposta. Pretendemos chamar à atenção para a potencial relação entre a vacinação para a COVID-19 e a HLH e a necessária contínua vigilância, especialmente em populações de maior risco, como as portadoras de doenças imuno-mediadas.

RESUMO: Fitorreguladores tem sido usado como desfolhante na região dos cachos de videira no processo de manejo para melhoria da qualidade e produção de uva. O presente estudo objetivou avaliar o efeito do fitorregulador etefon na desfolha localizada na região dos cachos, a epidemiologia da podridão cinzenta de cachos (PCC) e desempenho vitícola da cultivar “Cabernet Sauvignon”, durante as safras 2018/2019 e 2019/2020, na região de altitude do estado de Santa Catarina, sul do Brasil. O etefon foi aplicado na região dos cachos nos dois lados da copa vegetativa, no estádio fenológico de início da maturação (BBCH 81) em cinco doses do ingrediente ativo (0 mg L-1 (control); 720 mg L-1; 1,440 mg L-1; 2,160 mg L-1; and 2,880 mg L-1), seguindo um delineamento experimental em blocos ao acaso com quatro repetições e cinco plantas por repetições. Foram avaliados os parâmetros da epidemiologia da PCC e parâmetros vegetativos, produtivos e maturação tecnológica e fenólica. O aumento das doses de ethephon significativamente reduziu a queda linear de folhas na região dos cachos e afetou os parâmetros tecnológicos e fenológicos de maturação, melhorando o pH do mosto, polifenóis totais, coloração a 420, 520 e 630 nm, intensidade de cor (angulo °hue), antocianina e reduziu os sólidos solúveis totais na cultivar ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’. Contudo, este efeito significativo na queda linear das folhas e nos parâmetros tecnológicos e fenológicos não houve interferência com os outros parâmetros vegetativos, produtivos e epidemiológicos da PCC, avaliados nas condições edafoclimáticas de regiões de altitude do sul do Brasil. ABSTRACT: Phytoregulators have been used as grapevine defoliants in cluster zones to manage and improve grape quality and production. The present study evaluated the effect of the phytoregulator ethephon on the grapevine defoliation of the cluster region, Botrytis bunch rot (BBR) epidemiology, and the viticultural performance of ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’, during the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 growing seasons, in the highland region of the Santa Catarina State, Southern Brazil. Ethephon was applied in the bunch region of both sides of the grapevine vegetative canopy, at the phenological stage of beginning of ripening (BBCH-81) in five active ingredient doses (0 mg L-1 (control); 720 mg L-1; 1,440 mg L-1; 2,160 mg L-1; and 2,880 mg L-1), following a randomized block design with four replications and five plants per replication. The following parameters were evaluated: BBR epidemiology, vegetative, productive, and technological and phenolic maturation. The increasing ethephon doses significantly reduced the linear leaf drop and affected the technological and phenolic grape maturation parameters, improving the must pH, total polyphenols, color 420, 520, and 620 ղm, color intensity (°hue angle), and anthocyanin, and reducing the total solubre solids in the ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ grapevine. RESUMO Objetivo: Avaliar a dependência do smartphone e a alteração postural da região cervical em adolescentes. Métodos: Estudo transversal, com 281 adolescentes (15 a 19 anos), que frequentavam da 1ᵃ à 3ᵃ série do ensino médio, realizado entre setembro e outubro de 2019 na cidade de Fortaleza, Ceará, Brasil. A coleta dos dados ocorreu em duas etapas. Na primeira, eles responderam a quatro questionários autoaplicáveis: questionário sociodemográfico, condições de saúde e uso do smartphon e, Questionário Nórdico de Sintomas Musculoesqueléticos (NMQ), Self-Report Questi onnaire (SRQ-20) e o Smartphone A ddiction Inventory (SPAI-BR). Na segunda etapa, foram submetidos a fotogrametria pelo Software de Avaliação Postural (SAPO) e avaliação antropométrica (peso e altura). Para a análise dos dados, foi utilizado o SPSS Statistics versão 23.0. Resultados: Do total, 63,3% (n=178) dos adolescentes apresentaram dependência do smartphone, com o uso de 5,8 horas (±3,5) durante a semana e 8,7 (±4,0) no fim de semana. Ao analisar o alinhamento postural na visão anterior, observou-se redução significativa da inclinação lateral de cabeça ao digitar no smartphon e (p=0,002) comparado à posição anatômica (baseline). Na visão lateral foi constatado aumento da anteriorização de cabeça durante o uso do smartphon e (p<0,05). Houve associação da dependência do smartphone com a anteriorização de cabeça (p<0,05). Conclusões: O uso do smartphone na posição de digitação causa alteração postural na região cervical, destacadamente naqueles que apresentam dependência do dispositivo. Dessa forma, são necessárias medidas de promoção de saúde que alertem os adolescentes sobre os efeitos adversos causados pelo uso prolongado do smartphone. ABSTRACT Objective: To evaluate smartphone addiction and postural alterations in the cervical region in adolescents. Methods: A cross-sectional study with 281 adolescents (15 to 19 years old), attending the 1st to the 3rd grades of High School, carried out between September and October 2019 in the city of Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. Data collection took place in two stages. Results: Of the total number of adolescents, 63.3% (n=178) showed smartphone addiction, using it for 5.8 hours (±3.5) during the week and 8.7 (±4.0) hours on the weekend. When analyzing postural alignment in the anterior view, a significant reduction in the lateral head tilt was observed when typing on the smartphone (p=0.002) compared to the anatomical position (baseline). In the lateral view, an increase in head anteriorization was observed during smartphone use (p<0.05). There was an association between smartphone addiction and head anteriorization (p<0.05). Conclusions: The use of the smartphone in the typing position causes postural alterations in the cervical region, especially in adolescents with smartphone addiction. Therefore, health promotion measures that alert adolescents to the adverse effects caused by prolonged smartphone use are necessary.
