RESUMO Os dentes supranumerários são anomalias de desenvolvimento relacionadas ao número de dentes, podendo estes estarem impactados ou erupcionados, e apresentarem-se de forma assintomática ou sintomática. Essa patologia possui etiologia ainda desconhecida, sendo mais frequente na dentição permanente e, na maioria dos casos, apresenta um quadro assintomático. Essa alteração de desenvolvimento traz inúmeras desvantagens para o indivíduo, como: alteração funcional, estética, má oclusão, apinhamento nos dentes, impactação dentária, dentre outros fatores. Exames de imagens, como radiografia panorâmica e tomografia computadorizada, são essenciais para ajudar no diagnóstico e tratamento adequado para o caso, por conseguinte, favorecendo o bom prognóstico. O relato de caso destaca a importância da abordagem cirúrgica e pós-cirúrgica na impactação de pré-molares inferiores por supranumerários, utilizando uma metodologia descritiva e qualitativa. ABSTRACT Supernumerary teeth are developmental anomalies related to the number of teeth, which may be impacted or erupted, and present asymptomatic or symptomatic. This pathology has an unknown etiology, being more common in permanent dentition and in most cases, it presents an asymptomatic condition. This developmental change brings relevant disadvantages to the individual, such as: functional and aesthetic changes, malocclusion, tooth crowding, tooth impaction, among other factors. Imaging exams such as panoramic radiography and computed tomography are essential to help with the diagnosis and appropriate treatment for the case, therefore, favoring a good prognosis. The case report highlights the importance of the surgical and post-surgical approach in the impaction of lower premolars by supernumerary ones, using a descriptive and qualitative methodology. Resumo Este artigo traz uma discussão sobre a atuação da Frente Popular de Mulheres Contra o Feminicídio em relação ao feminicídio de Renata Costa, uma mulher negra e piauiense que foi vítima de violência misógina. O caso ganhou grande repercussão regional e nacional devido às manifestações realizadas pelo coletivo em questão. No aspecto metodológico, trata-se de um estudo de caso realizado por meio de entrevista semiestruturada feita com uma militante do coletivo que esteve presente no ato político Cadê a Renata? Abstract This article discusses the performance of the Popular Front of Women Against Femicide in relation to the femicide of Renata Costa, a black woman from Piauí who was a victim of misogynistic violence. The case gained great regional and national repercussion due to the demonstrations carried out by the aforementioned collective. From the methodological point of view, this is a case study carried out through a semi-structured interview with a militant member of the collective who was present at the political act Cadê a Renata? The theory of intersectionality was used as a theoretical concept to critically analyze social reality, enabling us to view oppressions as a "magnifying glass". Abstract Few studies on the distribution of oral diseases in older people are available in the literature. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence and demographic characteristics of oral and maxillofacial lesions in geriatric patients (age ≥ 60 years). A retrospective descriptive cross-sectional study was performed. Biopsy records were obtained from archives of three Brazilian oral pathology centers over a 20-year period. Data on sex, age, anatomical site, skin color, and histopathological diagnosis were collected and analyzed. Pearson’s chi-square test was used to evaluate differences in the frequency of the different oral and maxillofacial lesion groups. A total of 7,476 biopsy records of older patients were analyzed. Most cases were diagnosed in patients aged 60 to 69 years (n = 4,487; 60.0%). Females were more affected (n = 4,403; 58.9%) with a female-to-male ratio of 1:0.7 (p < 0.001). The tongue (n = 1,196; 16.4%), lower lip (n = 1,005; 13.8%), and buccal mucosa (n = 997; 13.7%) were the most common anatomical sites. Reactive and inflammatory lesions (n = 3,840; 51.3%) were the most prevalent non-neoplastic pathologies (p < 0.001), followed by cysts (n = 475; 6.4%). Malignant neoplasms were more frequent (n = 1,353; 18.1%) than benign neoplasms (n = 512; 6.8%). Fibrous/fibroepithelial hyperplasia (n = 2,042; 53.2%) (p < 0.001) and squamous cell carcinoma (n = 1,191; 88.03%) (p < 0.001) were the most common oral lesions in older adults. Biopsy data allow the accurate characterization of the prevalence of oral and maxillofacial lesions, supporting the development of public health policies that can enable the prevention, early diagnosis, and appropriate treatment of these lesions. ABSTRACT Objective to analyze the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and perceptions about safety climate among intensive care professionals. Methods a cross-sectional study with 51 health professionals from a public hospital in northeastern Brazil. The following instruments were applied: the Maslach Burnout Inventory, the Safety Attitudes Questionnaire, and a Sociodemographic questionnaire. Descriptive, analytical (Spearman’s test) and inferential statistics were adopted. Results there was a high level of emotional exhaustion (64.7%) and low levels of depersonalization (74.5%) and personal accomplishment (56.8%) in the Burnout assessment. The safety climate was considered satisfactory, with the Safe Behaviors domain having the highest average. There was a moderate correlation between the Stress recognition and Depersonalization subscales. Conclusion there was a correlation between safety climate and Burnout in the Stress recognition and Depersonalization dimensions, with the latter being considered a consequence of stressful factors which distance professionals from patients.

RESUMO Objetivo analisar a relação entre a Síndrome de Burnout e as percepções acerca do clima de segurança entre profissionais intensivistas. Métodos estudo transversal, com 51 profissionais de saúde de hospital público do nordeste brasileiro. Aplicaram-se os instrumentos: Inventário de Burnout de Maslach, Questionário de Atitudes de Segurança e Questionário sociodemográfico. Adotaram-se estatísticas descritiva, analítica (teste de Spearman) e inferencial. Resultados na avaliação do Burnout, constatou-se nível alto de exaustão emocional (64,7%) e níveis baixos de despersonalização (74,5%) e realização profissional (56,8%). O clima de segurança foi considerado satisfatório, sendo o domínio Comportamentos seguros o que obteve maior média. Evidenciou-se correlação moderada entre as subescalas Percepção do estresse e Despersonalização. Conclusão constatou-se correlação entre clima de segurança e Burnout, nas dimensões Percepção do estresse e Despersonalização, sendo que esta segunda pode ser considerada consequência de fatores estressantes que distanciam o profissional do paciente.
