RESUMO Relato de experiência que apresenta parceria entre o Núcleo de Saúde Mental Álcool e Outras Drogas, o Observatório de Territórios Sustentáveis e Saudáveis da Bocaina e o Fórum de Comunidades Tradicionais de Angra dos Reis, Paraty e Ubatuba, o qual resultou em um projeto de intervenções territoriais e comunitárias em saúde mental em Paraty. O objetivo foi promover intervenções nesse campo considerando aspectos socioeconômicos, ambientais e de saúde, integrando os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável e as metas da Agenda 2030. O projeto desenvolveu atividades de diagnóstico, articulação, intervenção e monitoramento, utilizando metodologias como educação popular, educação permanente, pesquisa-ação e sistematização de experiências. Participaram residentes do Programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde Mental, Álcool e outras Drogas da Escola de Governo Fiocruz Brasília, além de um supervisor clínico institucional bolsista, fortalecendo a Rede de Atenção Psicossocial do município. Atividades como reconhecimento do território, rodas de conversa, entrevistas e trabalho em equipe multiprofissional foram realizadas para compreender o sofrimento mental valorizando os saberes comunitários e as tradições. ABSTRACT Experience report presenting a partnership between the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Center, the Observatory of Sustainable and Healthy Territories of Bocaina, and the Forum of Traditional Communities of Angra dos Reis, Paraty, and Ubatuba resulted in a project of territorial and community interventions in mental health in Paraty. Métodos Investigación de producción tecnológica, realizada entre marzo y agosto de 2022, con base en principios y técnicas de la metodología Scrum. Abstract Objective To describe the development and validation process of a web software to support the management of prenatal care. Methods Technological development research, carried out between March and August 2022, based on principles and techniques of the Scrum method. Resumo Objetivo Identificar os fatores clínico-funcionais associados ao risco de quedas, avaliado pelo Mini-BESTest, em idosos com diabetes mellitus tipo 2 (DM2). Método Trata-se de um estudo transversal. Um total de 145 idosos com idade =60 anos foram avaliados por meio das variáveis sociodemográficas (sexo, faixa etária, estado civil, nível de educação e percepção geral da saúde, audição e visão) Mini-BESTest, Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), Escala de Depressão Geriátrica (GDS-15) e o teste Timed Up and Go (TUG) (dupla tarefa). Foi utilizado um modelo de regressão logística múltipla. Resultados O domínio de orientação sensorial apresentou a pontuação média mais elevada, seguido pelos domínios estabilidade na marcha, ajustes posturais antecipatórios e respostas posturais. Os fatores associados ao risco de quedas em idosos foram: percepção visual ruim/muito ruim OR 3.40 (1,50-7,72); presença de doenças respiratórias OR 8.00 (1,32-48,46); sensação de tontura OR 2.53 (1,10-5,80); e tempo do teste Timed Up and Go (TUG) (dupla tarefa) igual ou superior a 13,5 segundos OR 3.31 (1,03-10,64). Abstract Objective Identify clinical-functional factors associated to the risk of falls, assessed by Mini-BESTest in older adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Method This cross-sectional study. A total of 145 older adults aged ≥60 years were evaluated through sociodemographic variables (sex, age group, married, education level, general health status hearing and vision), Mini-BESTest, Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS-15) and dual-task Timed Up and Go Test (TUG) Multiple logistic regression model was used. Results The sensory orientation domain presented the highest average score, followed by the gait stability, anticipatory postural adjustments and postural responses domains. Conclusion Older adults in this study presented impaired postural balance, mainly in the postural responses domain. The knowledge of the factors associated with the risk of falls in older adults with T2DM allows for better guidance in prevention, assessment and intervention, in order to minimize the occurrence of falls and maintain or optimize postural balance. RESUMO O desempenho positivo de diferentes cultivares ao déficit hídrico está diretamente correlacionado com o aumento da produção de biomassa, com reflexos na garantia da sustentabilidade do sistema. Objetivou-se com esse estudo avaliar a produção e valor nutritivo de quatro cultivares de milheto em comparação com o milho e sorgo, sob duas condições de fornecimento de água (simulando uma condição de déficit hídrico e uma condição normal). O delineamento experimental foi inteiramente ao acaso (DIC), com 6 cultivares, 2 níveis de irrigação e 4 repetições, totalizando 48 unidades experimentais. Ao final de 12 semanas após a semeadura, foram realizadas as avaliações biométricas e bromatológicas. Com base nos resultados, os milhetos ADR300, ADR500, BRS1501 e ADRf6010 se apresentaram promissores e são alternativas interessantes a serem exploradas por produtores para silagem em períodos mais críticos ao déficit hídrico. ABSTRACT The positive performance of different cultivars in relation to a water deficit is directly correlated with an increase in biomass production, with repercussions for ensuring system sustainability. The objective of this study was to evaluate the production and nutritional value of four millet genotypes in comparison with that of corn and sorghum under two water supply conditions (simulated water deficit and normal conditions). This experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD), with six cultivars, two irrigation levels, and four replicates, totaling 48 experimental units. At the end of 12 weeks after sowing, biometric and bromatological evaluations were conducted. Based on these results, pearl millet ADR300, ADR500, BRS1501, and ADRf6010 showed promise and are interesting alternatives to be explored by silage producers in more critical water deficit periods. RESUMO Os casos oncológicos e a sobrevida aumentaram expressivamente nas últimas décadas. Objetivo: Investigar se as neoplasias de osso, articulação e cartilagem estão aumentando com o envelhecimento da população brasileira, por meio da análise das bases de dado do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS) e do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), entre os anos de 1979 e 2020. Métodos: Realizamos a comparação de médias e de proporção de morte entre as regiões do Brasil para observar as sobreposições de intervalo de confiança em cada região. A comparação entre sexo, faixa etária, óbito e taxa específica foi feita via testes de proporção, e a tendência foi investigada via análise de séries temporais. Resultados: Foi evidenciada uma tendência crescente dos casos de neoplasia, com um aumento de cerca de 2,5 vezes no período analisado. Entre as regiões do Brasil, destacou-se o Sudeste, com número de mortes cerca de seis vezes maior que outras regiões. ABSTRACT Cancer cases and survival have increased significantly in recent decades. Objective: In this study, we sought to evidence whether bone, joint and cartilage neoplasms are increasing with the aging of the Brazilian population, using the analysis of the DATASUS and IBGE databases, between 1979 and 2020. Methods: We compared the means and the proportion of death in Brazil, to observe the confidence interval overlaps, separated by region. Comparison between genders, age group, death and specific rate were compared via proportion tests and the trend was investigated via time series analysis. Results: Through the analyses, we can see that there is an increasing trend of cases, about 2.5 times in the period. Separated by region, the Southeast stands out, with a number of deaths about 6 times higher than other regions. Conclusion: Metastatic carcinoma is the most common neoplasm treated by orthopedic surgeons, and it is essential to adapt to this future projection, with cases of pathological bone involvement resulting from metastatic carcinomas, increasingly present in the routine of orthopedic surgeons. Abstract Trophic plasticity is a distinctive feature of freshwater fishes, representing an essential strategy for fish living in resource-variable environments. We analyzed the stomach contents of individuals sampled in two Atlantic Forest streams to identify the primary food sources consumed by Psalidodon aff. fasciatus and verify the existence of spatial, seasonal, and ontogenetic variations. The diet was determined by analyzing the stomach contents using the Volume Method to quantify the importance of food items. In general, Psalidodon aff. fasciatus was classified as an omnivorous species, consuming mainly insects, plant material, and filamentous algae. The results also showed significant effects for all factors considered (spatial, seasonal, and ontogenetic). Resumo A região de Iguazú, onde se encontram o Parque Nacional do Iguaçu (Brasil) e o Parque Nacional Iguazú (Argentina), abrange um dos maiores remanescentes contínuos da Mata Atlântica. É considerada um ponto de grande biodiversidade e um exemplo de uma região botanicamente pouco conhecida. Mesmo que os taxa não relacionados a árvores representem a maior parte da diversidade de plantas da Mata Atlântica, algumas famílias botânicas que são principalmente herbáceas ou arbustivas, como Plantaginaceae e Scrophulariaceae, estão sub-representadas nos tratamentos florísticos dentro deste domínio. Aqui, fornecemos um relato florístico das Plantaginaceae e Scrophulariaceae dos Parques Nacionais Iguazú e Iguaçu, incluindo chaves de identificação, ilustrações, comentários sobre distribuição, habitat e fenologia. Um total de 13 espécies e sete gêneros foram documentados. Abstract The Iguazú region, where the Iguaçu National Park (Brazil) and the Iguazú National Park (Argentina) are located, encompasses one of the largest continuous remnants of the Atlantic Forest. It is considered a hotspot of biodiversity and an example of a region that is poorly known botanically. Even though non-tree taxa represent most of the Atlantic Forest’s plant diversity, some botanical families that are mainly herbaceous or shrubby, such as Plantaginaceae and Scrophulariaceae, are underrepresented in floristic treatments within this domain. Here, we provide a floristic account for the Plantaginaceae and Scrophulariaceae from the Iguazú and Iguaçu National Parks, including identification keys, illustrations, comments on distribution, habitat, and phenology. A total of 13 species and seven genera were documented. Resumo Erythroxylum é um gênero bastante comum nos Cerrados Brasileiros. Espécies deste gênero possuem grande importância ecológica, farmacológica e na medicina popular. Baseado nestas informações, o objetivo deste trabalho foi realizar um estudo morfoanatômico descritivo e quantitativo das folhas de Erythroxylum tortuosum presentes em duas fitofisionomias: cerrado stricto sensu e campo rupestre. Para a realização dos estudos, 24 folhas completamente expandidas foram coletadas e fixadas de indivíduos presentes nos dois ambientes. Para o estudo da anatomia quantitativa, as seguintes medidas foram obtidas: área foliar, largura, comprimento e massa foliar; densidade estomática, diâmetro polar e equatorial do estômato; espessura da lâmina foliar, mesofilo, epiderme e cutícula das faces adaxial e abaxial; e espessura do parênquima paliçádico e esponjoso; área foliar específica, área de massa foliar e densidade dos tecidos foliares. Esta espécie apresenta epiderme glabra e unisseriada, quando vista em secção transversal. Os estômatos são paracíticos e ocorrem apenas na face abaxial. O mesofilo é dorsiventral, com um sistema vascular denso e feixe vascular é do tipo colateral. O padrão geral da venação é pinada, camptódroma e broquidódroma, com veias densas e nervuras pseudosecundárias. Diferenças significativas foram encontradas em quase todas as variáveis analisadas, sugerindo que condições ambientais diferentes podem influenciar o desenvolvimento da planta. Abstract Erythroxylum is common in the Brazilian Cerrado. Species from this genus have ecological, pharmacological and popular medical importance. Based on this information, the aims of this study was to perform a descriptive and quantitative morphoanatomical study of Erythroxylum tortuosum leaves present in two environments: cerrado sensu stricto and campo rupestre. To carry out these studies, 24 fully developed leaves were collected and fixed from individuals across both environments. For the quantitative anatomy study, the following measurements were made: leaf area, length, width and mass; stomatal density; polar and equatorial diameter of the stomata; thickness of the leaf blade, mesophyll, epidermis and cuticles on the adaxial and abaxial surfaces; and thickness of the spongy and palisade parenchyma; specific leaf area, leaf mass area and foliar tissue density. This species shows a bald and uniseriate epidermis when viewed in cross section. Stomata are paracytic and occur only on abaxial surfaces. The mesophyll is dorsiventral type, with a dense vascular system, and the vascular bundle is collateral type. The general pattern of the veins is pinnate camptodrome and brochidodrome, with dense veins and pseudosecondary ribs. Significant differences were found for almost all analysed variables, suggesting that different environmental conditions may influence plant development. ABSTRACT. Burger is a practical source of animal protein for consumers, sold both raw (ready-to-cook) and cooked (ready-to-eat), and can be an alternative to stimulate the consumption of rabbit meat, which is a source of healthy animal protein. This study evaluated the effects of different levels of oat bran addition on physicochemical properties and sensory acceptance of rabbit meat burgers. Burgers were formulated with 0, 5, 10, and 15% oat bran plus garlic and salt, then manually processed and analyzed for composition, technological parameters (pH, cooking loss, shrinkage percentage, water holding, texture, and color), and sensorial acceptance. The higher the levels of inclusion of oat bran, the lower the burger moisture (p < 0.0001). Burgers with 15% oat bran presented higher content of lipids and carbohydrates, thus higher caloric value (p < 0.0001). The loss of water during cooking was greater in the burger without the inclusion of oat bran (p < 0.05). No significant difference was found for color and aroma attributes. Overall acceptability was higher for burgers with 5% oat bran. Rabbit meat burgers containing oat bran may represent a viable alternative to improving their sensory and technological profiles and overall consumer acceptance. Resumo As Florestas Tropicais Sazonalmente Secas apresentam sazonalidade pronunciada de precipitação, intensa radiação solar e altas temperaturas, que muitas vezes se traduzem em altos níveis de deciduidade durante a estação seca. Nestes ambientes, espécies caducifólias coexistem com algumas espécies perenes que conseguem manter as folhas do dossel durante toda a estação seca. Para entender as estratégias por trás desse comportamento, analisamos características anatômicas foliares de 13 indivíduos de Sarcomphalus joazeiro durante as estações chuvosa e seca em uma floresta estacional decídua. Nossa hipótese é que as folhas da estação chuvosa seriam diferentes anatômica e funcionalmente das folhas da estação seca. Especificamente, esperávamos que as folhas da estação chuvosa apresentassem uma estratégia de utilização de recursos mais aquisitiva em comparação com as folhas da estação seca, que esperávamos que fossem mais conservativas. Abstract Seasonally Dry Tropical Forests experience pronounced precipitation seasonality, intense solar radiation, and high temperatures, which often translate into high levels of deciduousness during the dry season. In these environments, deciduous species coexist with some evergreen species that are able to maintain their canopy leaves throughout the dry season. To understand the strategies behind this behavior, we analyzed leaf anatomical traits of 13 individuals of Sarcomphalus joazeiro during both the wet and dry seasons in a seasonal deciduous forest. We hypothesized that wet-season leaves would differ anatomically and functionally from dry-season leaves. Specifically, we expected wet-season leaves to show a more acquisitive resource-use strategy compared to dry-season leaves, which we expected to be more conservative. We assessed the effects of season and climatic variables on 25 leaf anatomical traits using generalized linear mixed models (LMM). Leaf traits varied between the wet and dry seasons and interacted with climatic variables, which together suggest that S. joazeiro produces season-specific leaf cohorts. RESUMO A Ilha do Pontal, situada no Parque Natural Municipal de Niterói, destaca-se como um remanescente vital do Bioma da Mata Atlântica no Rio de Janeiro. Com ecossistemas que incluem floresta, afloramentos rochosos, restinga e manguezais, a ilha é uma preciosidade biológica. Este estudo realizou um levantamento florístico mensal de setembro de 2021 a agosto de 2022. Dividida em quatro comunidades vegetais, a ilha apresenta 194 espécies, sendo Fabaceae, Euphorbiaceae e Myrtaceae as famílias mais representativas. Abstract: The minimally invasive endodontic access is not directly associated with tooth discoloration in the presence of bioceramic or epoxy resin-based root canal sealers. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of minimally invasive access and endodontic sealer composition on the color stability of endodontically-treated teeth, the restorative material adaptation, and the presence of remaining filling material in the pulp chamber. Endodontic access surgery was performed in maxillary central incisors, either through conservative or minimally invasive approaches, and the root was filled with AH Plus or Bio-C Sealer. The crown color was measured with a spectrophotometer at baseline and after root obturation, restoration, and specimen storage for one year in an oven. The occurrence of voids in the restoration and the remaining filling material was analyzed using micro-CT scans. The Yellowness Index (YI) and color changes (∆E00) were calculated after each color measurement. Data of micro-CT were submitted to 2-way ANOVA, and YI and ∆E00 were analyzed with repeated-measures ANOVA. Pair-wise comparisons were performed with Tukey's test (α = 0.05). The experimental conditions had no effect on the presence of the remaining material. The minimally invasive access associated with Bio-C Sealer resulted in more voids between the restoration and the remaining filling material. Only the evaluation time affected YI and ∆E00 values. Specimens became more yellow after filling and storage in the oven (the highest ∆E00 values). ABSTRACT Adjustments in the nitrogen fertilization recommendation in wheat fields are essential to promote an increase in nitrogen (N) use efficiency by the crop. The real-time estimation of the nutritional demand of plants considering the spatial variability is one of the efficient ways to perform this adjustment. This study aimed to develop a model for the indication of topdressing nitrogen fertilization as a function of nutritional N demand using NDVI. Data from field experiments conducted in four regions of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, during the 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019 agricultural years using cultivars with significant sowing areas in the state, were used to construct the model. The analysis of the relationship between the amounts of N accumulated in the shoot and NDVI values allowed establishing a single model for different cultivars. The proposed model is sensitive to capturing regional edaphoclimatic differences and variability in N dynamics in cultivated areas. A consistent relationship was found between NDVI values and biomass and N content, which supported the generation of the topdressing N indication model for wheat.
